For years, the vinyl 12 inches from the French Techno-house & New Beat label N9 were nearly impossible to find, and devoted Oldschool Fans kept asking for represses.
Thanks to a joint venture with fellow Belgian label Fenix Fire Records, the wait is over!

Here’s a deluxe 2x12' compilation, on 180g marbled red vinyl in a beautiful gatefold package.

With 11 tracks spanning from the origins in 1990 to the rebirth since 2005, N9's most wanted releases are here, remastered by French sonic wizard André Dalcan, ready to get turntables at the right 33+8 mood, and get the white glove raised again!

The Spanish producer arrives on the label with a brace of high energy, atmospheric dance floor cuts. Leaning tentatively towards a more booming, warehouse-ready finish, the four track EP channels funk, density and smart sound design in equal measure.

Tripping opener FM-2030 marries a bold, aquatic lead sequence with glassy pads set in the sonic periphery that serve to create a pleasing sense of suspension. Drum machine flourishes help guide the recording onwards, increasing intensity where required and exuberant synth hits wax and bend in support along the way, tying up a classy, rolling number. A-side follow up Extropy features booming, fathoms deep low end and that same sunk, introspective finish. Noisy percussive elements inject groove and dynamics to proceedings while a growling synth shifts in and out of view for added effect. Caustic B1 Transhuman builds itself around a single warping lead, expertly tweaked and plied along its run time to generate a palpable hysteria. Buoyed by expertly centred kicks, it's a powerful piece of off kilter dance floor material. Closing piece Posthuman Being drives the record home - an expertly executed slice of peak time Techno, complete with driving bassline and crisp atmospherics for added character.

Fill-Lex Records is pleased to announce its new reference on cassette. For this occasion, he bets for the first work of Social Noise, Russian artist that will give much to talk about in the future. Philoxenia is the new label by Neu Verboten and Luigi Di Venere. The first instalment comes from Steve Marie, a self-taught Paris based Corsican producer. HO! is the name of Marie's release with the Berlin based label. The opening title track is a moody sky of synths, bleeps and piercing acid notes, swaying on a solid breakbeat. B2 'Devil Inside' is an emotional ballad for vampires in love. On the flip the slow beat 'Romanee Conti' conjures the scene of a film noir. 'It doesn't have to be a perfect world', the voices say, while a whipping snare supports the cinematic sonic layering. 'Trancia' is a135BPM dancefloor pleaser. Picture Love Parade between 1997 and 2001: the sun soaks Berlin streets; the city glows and pulsates; thousands gather in peace, for fun. This track brings that glorious world to life, while soundtracking dreams of more joyful days to come.

Uncovering a rising Ukrainian artist on the 6th release of the NECHTO record label.

Nastia welcomes #BSKD on board of her NECHTO imprint. The Ukrainian DJ and producer first joined forces with Nastia during the label's major showcase earlier this year and the two later played b2b during Nastia's residency at Beatport on Twitch. Now the artist is glad to present a four-track EP on NECHTO.
"This release consists of four different tracks, which were written at entirely different times and even in various places," says the Ukrainian producer." Each track means something particular to me, in general, I think that it turned out to be a very interesting EP. I am very glad that I can take part in such a project like NECHTO, and certainly, I am glad that my work is released on a Ukrainian label."
For #BSKD electronic music is a means of communicating with like-minded people and is a vital tool for self-expression. Each release holds a special meaning and importance to the artist, and every track correlates with a certain moment in his life. In terms of creativity itself, the process must be instinctive and come from the core - if composing a track feels mechanical, it is best to let go. This approach to music makes the artist's sound genuine and distinct.

The question 'Who is DJ Steve?' gets closer to being answered with the exciting release of his second EP on Klasse Wrecks. Following on from the first EP, the very well recieved 'Mainline' EP, WRECKS036 brings more of the heat that DJ Steve is becoming known for. Direct lines are traced to back the formative years of UK Rave and Bleep music, production techniques are kept stripped back and faithful to the classic combinations of those numbers 808, 909, 303 and 101. 'Secret Touch' is a melting pot of acid lines, perfectly placed chord stabs and atmospherics that wouldnt sound out of place in a Sheffield warehouse in 1992. The three original tracks are backed up with a hypnotic and perfectly grooved-out remix from Klasse Wrecks boss Luca Lozano.

Ten years ago, Acid Test began with a simple concept—each track the label released would make use of the Roland TB-303. Like a producer purposefully paring down their studio setup, or the continuous imperative within underground electronic music to reduce, this concept engendered creativity with the introduction of what seemed to be an aesthetic limit. However, the decade that followed, which now culminates in the triple-LP compilation Ten Years Of Acid Test, proves acid is limitless.

That the Berlin-via-LA label would expand upon the classical conception of acid house and techno is no surprise considering the cast of characters that have come in fold over the past decade. Ten Years Of Acid Test gathers key material from the label's extended family of acid acolytes. There's that Vienna-via-LA maestro of sad, elegant acid Tin Man (Johannes Auvinen), whose "Afters Acid" is both a highlight within his prolific catalogue and a distillation of his symphonic approach to the 303. Detroit giants Erika and Marcellus Pittman, both of whom have released remixes on Acid Test, present their respective and singular Bass Line visions. Erika, the Interdimensional Transmissions lynchpin, crafts a dark, delicate take on broken techno on "Violet Fungus" while Pittman continues his cubist house explorations on "Unknown Species," both tracks straying from typical acid lines in favor of the intricate textures achievable on the 303.

This variation in approach applies to tempo as well. Irish-based master Lerosa, as well as Delsin affiliate VC-118A, delve into downtempo atmospherics. Meanwhile, Japanese deep techno virtuoso Wata Igarashi, SUED co-founder SW. (a regular on Acid Test's leftfield sub-label Avenue 66) and Patricia (one-half of Acid Test act Ociya) use acid as a creative jumping-off point for complex melodic concepts. Wata layers an orchestra of synth-bliss drone overtop a squelchy bassline on "Ephemeral." SW.'s "ChaIAnJAzzz" cycles through an array of dusted chords eventually landing in skewed, fuzzy rave nostalgia, anthemic chords held aloft by a wicked UK-flavour bass line. Patricia's “Higher Still” explores dreamy, IDM-flavoured acid, cinematic synthlines counterbalanced by propulsive, squelching acid.

Acid Test devotees will be thrilled at the return of various luminaries from the catalogue, including Achterbahn D'Amour, Skudge, AAAA, John Tejada and Donato Dozzy, whose memorable remix of Tin Man's "Nonneo" from Acid Test 01 served as a kind of proof of concept for the label. There's new blood too. San Francisco up-and-comer Sepehr makes his label debut with the excellent "Persian Acid Prince," as does Andreas Tilliander's beloved hardware techno project, TM404.

Like the original Hot Mix 5 Acid compilation, which highlighted the original cohort of Chicago acid innovators including Pierre, Fingers and Armando, Ten Years Of Acid Test is a valuable portrait of a group of artists linked by a dedication to innovation within acid, in line with the genre's storied roots. Over ten years, Acid Test has gracefully made a case for the 303's past, present and future, the story of acid continuing to unfurl in unpredictable, addictive patterns.

Elektronische Sequenz Proleten is the new project of Nicola Kazimir and Walid El Barbir -both are integral members of the Les Points collective based in Zürich. The Heart Of A Man, The Desire Of A Monster EP is their debut release under this moniker and balances somewhere between genre bending Acid-Techno and EBM. E.S.P. has no particular genre specialization in mind - but wants to explore a diverse, wide and mature range of sonic compositions in the next couple of years. Also watch out for E.S.P.’s track “Accumulation City” on LUX Records (Schwarze Schweiz Compilation).

The latest drop on Ornate sees Neil Tolliday's Nail project metamorphose into Sentipede. His illustrious track record in UK house and techno has touched on all kinds of ventures since the DIY days, and now he's presenting something very special indeed for Ornate. The vibe on these tracks is more taut and techy, with "313151" opening proceedings on a bubbling bed of acid before the rubbery monosynth jack of "44151" on the B side. Keeping things locked into this nervy strain of warehouse tackle, "3131154" finishes the record off with some even more audacious 303 lines that will dig right into your synapses and give 'em a twist, in the nicest possible way of course.

On the flip, Ryan James Ford, another DT alumni, brings us a techno banger that marries the
best of Detroit and Berlin, then newcomer ZDR closes things out with stuttering, dreamy piece of jungly dnb magic. Here’s to the next 10!

Climate of Fear teams up with Vladimir Ivkovic for the eighth edition of its twelve part tape series. Recorded in in the last months of 2019, Vladimir showcases here his indelibly dank and syrupy sound. Gooey rave carnage, IDM turnarounds and flavor for weeks. One of the all time juiciest sets at any Climate party, this tape hits like a dripping mango in an arid desert. Out April 2021.

More than 20 years after it first launched, and 15 years after the last release, Gaetano Parisio has revived his well regarded techno label Conform. Now back to take up its place at the heart of the international scene, The first release of the new era is the start of a new CONFORM RE-TOUCHED SERIES which will be released over the coming months and contain classic Conform tracks that have been re-edit by big techno artists.

The first release contains four tracks plus one digital only bonus with heavyweights Ben Sims, Mark Broom, James Ruskin, Truncate and Stojche all stepping up. UK techno legend and Machine man Ben Sims is up first. His Hardgroove edit of Gaetek's is a brutal track with driving drums and unrelenting synths that bring it into the present day with a real sense of style. Mark Broom is another long time techno titan who has released on the best labels from M-Plant to Blueprint and he edits the B1 from C&G Southsystem's Dual EP. The result is an edgy track with big hi hats and hammering drums all run through with some bright synths that melt your mind.

James Ruskin is another vital techno player who runs his own legendary Blueprint label. His edit of a track from Gaetek's Advanced Series Vol. 1 EP is deep and hypnotic, with wooden hits and warped bass wrapping round the toughened kick drums. Truncate then tackles the same track and is known for his focus on the deeper, raw side of techno on 50 Weapons and Soma. His edit is just that - deep and atmospheric, with subtle keys up top as the busy and hard hitting drums power the track along.

Last of all, Stojche's Re-Chord of Stanny Franssen's Between the Lines is a digital only that is designed to get whole clubs and warehouses on the end of their seats.

This is a fantastic way to relaunch a much-missed techno label and marks the start of a great new series.

The inaugural release from TOHT is a 12″ trip that takes you from the banks of the Ganges to the break-beating heart of the equatorial rainforests.

This vinyl 12″ is a ‘white label’ style release, housed in white disco bag sleeve. It features ‘Breathe’ by User Only (Mat Carter & Stu Dunn), part of the TOHT family sound.

It launches project TOHT‘s entry into the audio abyss, aiming to cut through the noise and communicate a transcendental rhythm.

It is the first of three releases in the ‘Mask’ series and features two tracks chosen to whet your appetite for the TOHT sound.

Jasen Loveland is a doctor of medicine, with interests in house music and computer dating. This is his recorded debut. Recorded in LA and mixed in Detroit at the IT studios.
To celebrate 10 years of No Way Back (a regular party in Detroit...and beyond), the label is launching the Acid Series, a series of records on Interdimensional Transmissions inspired by the No Way Back parties. The Acid Series includes submissions from Tin Man & Ectomorph, Jasen Loveland, Justin Cudmore, BMG & Derek Plaslaiko, Jordan Zawideh, Dona, and Romans. They all arrive in a unique sleeve especially created for this series, inspired by the decorations of NWB.
