Boy Harsher's entire catalogue as strictly limited indie editions on colored vinyl. Augustus Muller and Jae Matthews’ fifth release entitled ‘The Runner (Original Soundtrack)’ is not a traditional album. Rather, it is the soundtrack to a short film, also entitled ‘The Runner’. The film, written, produced, and directed by the duo, is a searching horror film, attached to a meta-style “documentary” about Boy Harsher’s recording process. The album includes several distinct components: cinematic arrangements, vocal features, and of course classic Boy Harsher dark pop.

We are excited to present you with the soundtrack from the Netflix film Rustin, composed by the renowned saxophonist, conductor, and jazz composer Branford Marsalis. Branford is a highly respected figure in the jazz world, with an impressive list of accolades including three Grammy Awards, one Tony Award, and one Emmy. He is also a member of the illustrious Marsalis family, a dynasty of jazz musicians.

It's July 16th 1969, America is preparing to launch Apollo 11. Thousands of miles away, the Zambia Space Academy hopes to beat the USA to the moon. Brian McOmber presents his stunning original soundtrack for Nuotama Bodomo's visionary short movie Afronauts, which premiered at Sundance and Berlinale film festivals.

A vivid score of melancholic tension and dream-like exploration to an underdog story from the perspective of exiles and outsiders whose narratives are lost or silenced to an iconic mainstream history that documents fact.

Inspired by true events, the short film directed by Nuotama Frances Bodomo, Afronauts tells an alternative history of the 1960s Space Race. Contrary to what Gil Scott-Heron thought at the time though, whitey was not the only one trying to get up on the moon. In Zambia, shortly after independence, science teacher Edward Makuka Nkoloso's dreams of space travel led him to establish the new nation's very own space academy. Without resources—the £7,000,000 grant from UNESCO never came through— he hoped to launch a spacegirl —17-year-old Matha—and two cats into space before America or Russia could.

"I always thought of Afronauts as a science film and kept that idea close while working on the score. By using chance operations and controlling for certain variables, the music came together as a series of happy accidents, much like many scientific discoveries do."

Former scientist and drummer of the US indie rock band Dirty Projectors, Brian McOmber—who is building a consistent and awarded career in film composition—edited this score to picture out of roughly 10 hours of improvised material with help from Toronto-based producer Liam O'Neil, singer Dave Hamelin and Jimmy Shaw from the band METRIC. Together, they performed live for two days, repeatedly improvising along to a rough cut of the movie, inspired by a story that follows the controversial scientific zeitgeist of the twentyieth century and the universal human desire to discover the unknown.

With a relatively small palette of sounds the soundtrack succeeds in giving body to a single set of contrasts from melancholic tension to dream-like euphoria, in which McOmber seems to 'discover'—more than compose—this music through a playful and empirical creative process that strengthens the spirit of Bodomo's Afronauts vision.

"Yellowstone is an American neo-Western drama television series. The series stars Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly and follows the conflicts along the shared borders of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, a large cattle ranch, the Broken Rock Indian reservation, Yellowstone National Park, and land developers.

The first part of the fifth and final season premiered on November 13, 2022, with the second part scheduled to premiere on November 10, 2024.

Composer Brian Tyler, who once worked and performed in a Native American musical group, said he worked hard to blend his knowledge of traditional Native American music with the melting pot of western cultures in his score.

“What I ended up doing was finding ways to incorporate some of the percussion, some of the woodwinds, some of the instrumentation and weave it into things like cellos, basses, cimbaloms and all these exotic instruments,” Tyler said.

Available on vinyl for the first time, Bruce Broughton's score to the 1992 cult classic comedy featuring John Ritter, Pam Dawber, Jeffrey Jones & Eugene Levy takes listeners on a musical adventure.

Saying Roy Knable loves television is an understatement. He's so hooked on it that his wife takes a baseball bat to the screen and shatters it. Mr. Spike soon appears at the Knable's door, selling Roy a Satellite dish with 666 channels that aren't available on regular cable (because Spike is sent from hell, and the Knables are about to become part of the Hellevision network lineup). The Knables have 24 hours to make their way through the channels (which are hilariously gory parodies of popular television shows and films of the era) to survive.

Stay Tuned (Music From the Original Motion Picture) is a 2xLP pressed at 45 RPM. It's housed in a gatefold jacket featuring original cover art by Drew Struzan, along with new gatefold and back cover art by Garreth Gibson. Pressing is limited to 1,000 copies.

Licensed in 1975 by Gemelli, Rendez Vous is possibly a holy grail in Nicolai’s long-running career as a composer. The orchestra director and musical editor is been active for at least 30 years and his majestic opus an overwhelming data for any avantgarde freak or moviegoer obsessed. While studying piano and composition at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, he befriended Ennio Morricone and formed a long working relationship, with Nicolai eventually conducting for and co-scoring films with Morricone. Nicolai also scored a number of giallo exploitation films and wrote many scores for director Jesús Franco. His work was featured in the Quentin Tarantino films Kill Bill: Volume 2 and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Tension! Pretty much what this whole record is all about. An imaginary soundtrack that turned out to be an in-demand obscure library, Rendez Vous shows up the many skills of the composer and his alumni. Possibly Morricone is playing muted trumpet in several episodes – Diffidenza and Subdolamente – absorbing thrilling experiences similar to the Maestro soundtracks for Dario Argento early movies (not a case that Nicolai was the conductor for several adventures in movie sound theatre such as ‘L’Uccello Dalle Piume Di Cristallo’, ‘ Il Gatto A Nove Code’ or ‘4 Mosche Di Velluto Grigio’).

Rendez Vous is now to be ranked among the most adventurous Nicolai soundtracks, a unique combination of classic contemporary arrangements and superb jazz noir sketches

Laced Records and Capcom team up once again to bring fans Resident Evil™ soundtracks on audiophile-quality vinyl. The Resident Evil™ 4 soundtrack comes across four LPs, featuring remastered audio from the 2005 Nintendo GameCube™ title, and brand new vinyl sleeve artwork by Boris Moncel.

Resident Evil 4 fundamentally changed the survival horror series by injecting action gameplay moving to a more action-packed over-the-shoulder camera. The gaming world continues to celebrate it as one of the most tightly designed and inventive video games ever made — a true classic that inspired many other games across several genres. For the music score, composers Shusaku Uchiyama and Misao Senbongi ratcheted up the tension with layers of unsettling electronic sounds and percussion loops; and also created fan favourite tracks “Serenity” and “Save Theme” suffused with anxious, atmospheric synths.

CAPCOM and Laced Records continue their partnership to bring classic video game music to vinyl with Mega Man X 1-8: The Collection, a deluxe eight-disc box set featuring 210 tracks from the mainline titles in the Mega Man X series spanning 1993-2004.

Launched on the SNES as the gaming world transitioned from 8-bit to 16-bit consoles, the Mega Man X series introduced more mobility to the action-platforming series, as well as new plotlines and characters including X, Zero, and Axl.

The Limited Edition variant — exclusive to the Laced Records store — features ‘Coke Bottle Green’ discs, while the Standard Edition will have traditional black vinyl.

In a series known for multiple playable characters, Resident Evil 6 upped the ante with players navigating four distinct, action-packed scenarios set across the world. The experienced composition team comprised Thomas Parisch, Laurent Ziliani, Daniel Lindholm and Sebastian Schwartz alongside Capcom stalwarts Kota Suzuki, Akihiko Narita, Azusa Kato and Akiyuki Morimoto. The rip-roaring score for the ‘dramatic horror’ title was recorded with the 90-piece Sydney Scoring Orchestra.

We return to Capcom’s classic ’90s output with this double LP for the Street Fighter Alpha 2 arcade soundtrack.

We welcome a new member to our Resident Evil soundtrack vinyl family with a deluxe four-disc box set for the most recent mainline game.

Resident Evil VII: Biohazard looked back to the series’ survival horror roots while looking forward technologically, being the first full RE Engine title and optionally playable in VR. By shifting to a first-person perspective, introducing a new protagonist and featuring a distinct setting, RE7 refreshed the formula and won plaudits in the process.

The game’s international composition team comprised Miwako Chinone, Brian D’Oliveira, Satoshi Hori, Akiyuki Morimoto and Cris Velasco. The score is lower key and more ambient than its predecessors without skimping on the anxiety and intensity that Resi games are known for. Jordan Reyne & Michael A. Levine also contributed a chilling rendition of the folk song "Go Tell Aunt Rhody."

All music has been specially mastered for vinyl and will be pressed onto audiophile-quality, heavyweight 180g discs. These will be housed in spined inners sleeves that slip into a deluxe gatefold box set.

Following a series refresh with Resident Evil 7, the impressive RE Engine was used to power this third-person reworking of a survival horror classic. The thick atmosphere, tight redesign of locations (including the iconic Racoon Police Department), and expanded role of a certain fedora-wearing hunter combined to make Resident Evil 2 an award-winning hit with a 91 Metacritic average.

The soundtrack played a huge part in establishing the taut atmosphere of Resident Evil 2, as the composers shifted gears between dark ambient electronic music, thumping cinematic percussion, and audacious orchestral and choral passages. Capcom veteran Shusaku Uchiyama — who worked on the 1998 original — was given lead composition duties, and also arranged several of Masami

Ueda’s original pieces. They were joined among the soundtrack credits by Zhenlan Kang, Tadayoshi Makino, Sound Director & Sound Team Leader Kentaro Nakashima, Yuichi Tsuchiya, Masahiro Ohki and Mana Ogura. Syotaro Nakayama and Taisuke Fujisawa supplied the power metal with “Tofu On Fire”; while the vinyl opens with the stomping ‘true ending’ credits theme "Saudade" by Cody Matthew Johnson and Shim.

It’s been 20 years since courtroom adventure Ace Attorney began life on the Game Boy Advance with the release of Gyakuten Saiban (‘Turnabout Trial’) in Japan. The series’ lovable characters, witty dialogue, and iconic “Objection!” finger point have found fans all over the world, selling well over 6 million copies. With an anime and a live-action movie, as well as multiple manga series, stage plays, escape room games and orchestra concerts (among other adaptations) to date, Ace Attorney has transcended the world of video games.

To celebrate the occasion, Capcom and Laced Records are deepening their video game soundtrack courtship with the announcement of the Ace Attorney 20th Anniversary deluxe vinyl box set. The release presents a selection of 121 specially remastered tracks from six mainline games in the series: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Justice for All, Trials and Tribulations, Apollo Justice, Dual Destinies, and Spirit of Justice.

This Standard Edition features six heavyweight vinyl, black as the judge’s robes. LPs slip into spined, printed inner sleeves all housed in a deluxe rigid board slipcase.

The record sleeve features gorgeous new illustrations by ultimatemaverickx (DeviantArt profile), the Capcom superfan artist behind Laced Records’ celebrated Mega Man vinyl sleeves. The front cover character parade brings together the attorneys and their allies, while the rear panel gathers the dastardly prosecutors. Inner sleeve pieces depict reimagined moments from across the six games, such as Franziska von Karma whipping Detective Gumshoe into line, and the gang hanging out at the Wright Anything Agency offices.

24 Tracks wurden speziell für Vinyl gemastert und auf traditionelle schwarze Heavyweight-Platten gepresst. Diese befinden sich in einer Deluxe-Gatefold-Hülle mit einem Cover-Artwork von Capcom. Unter der Leitung des langjährigen Resident Evil-Mitarbeiters Masami Ueda gehören Kota Suzuki, Takayasu Sodeoka, Azusa Kato, Ryo Koike, Takumi Saito und Saori Maeda zum Kompositionsteam des Spiels. Der Score schwelgt in der unheimlichen, atmosphärischen Spannung, die nur Resident Evil-Titel erzeugen können. Dazu kommen pulsierende Actionszenen, die das Herz höher schlagen lassen, und einige nostalgische Themen aus dem Jahr 1999.

After the international success of Thunderbirds, Gerry and Sylvia Anderson turned their attention to a deadly threat from Mars. Seeking revenge for an attack on their home planet,

the Mysterons plot to use their powers to bring Earth to its knees.

Across 32 episodes broadcast during 1967 – 1968, the series is remarkable for moving away from the more caricatured puppets of previous shows –

they have more realistic body proportions and the storylines are much more violent and darker in tone. Something reflected in the music which has a

more militaristic feel to it although, as always, composer Gray offers up occasional lighter tracks to break up the mood.

The opening narration of each episode sums it up –

"The Mysterons: sworn enemies of Earth. Possessing the ability to recreate an exact likeness of an object or person. But first, they must destroy...

Leading the fight, one man fate has made indestructible. His name: Captain Scarlet."

The Captain Scarlet LP will be sixth album in the series which includes UFO, Supercar, Thunderbirds, Fireball XL5 and Space: 1999.
