Malcolm Moore's Altered Moods imprint comes through with the self styled "deep as fuq" Loves All Right EP featuring contributions from Dubbyman, Amir Alexander and Mr Done! The well respected Dubbyman marks his debut production on Altered Moods with the sublime "Love's All Right"- a track naturally brimming with his signature jazzy touches and lolloping beat down groove. It's complemented by an altogether housier remix from Above Smoke who does a superb job in cloaking elements of Dubbyman's original production in a hazy sheen deep beneath an infinitely rise rasp of a groove. Turn over and Mr Done! Aka Mr Moore gently rolls out a melange of widescreen chords and shimmering pads over the ever rippling rhythmic snap of drums that drives "Diamond" forward, whilst Amir Alexander wins the prize for the most apt title on "Woozy!" a tightly wound driving house track whose undulating textures will cause travel sickness.

In the 18 months since his brilliant debut release for We Play House, Luv Jam has been steadily building his profile with a number of releases, and now he returns on Vibrations with his first full EP of material since that auspicious first record. The EP's A-Side is a typically lush foray into stripped back, slo-mo house, with opener Tough Future utilizing little more than a 303 bassline and 909 kick to slowly build up to its raindrop crescendo, and "Rubber Band" employing a number a dreamy synths atop its tense, gurgling bass. The pace picks up on the B-Side with "Last Floor Hotel (mega mix)" upping the tempo and going into full on acid mode, with its furious pace accented with frenetic cowbell hits and industrial textures. The EP closes with "Elastic Band" a deeper excursion into jacking house, characterized by its flurry of handclaps, weighed up by its rubbery bassline

Clouded Vision, the UK-based production duo comprised of Bugged Out! resident Matt Walsh and studio maestro Steve Cook, grace Throne Of Blood with two new cuts of narcotic house magic sure to win over discerning dancefloors during the coming summer months.
A-side 'City Thunder,' featuring vocals by Emilie Albisser of Passarella Death Squad, is six-and-a-half minutes of slo-mo house that churns along at a leisurely 108 BPM.  A storming kick and chunky analog bassline provide just enough weight to keep the stratospheric pads, delicate vocal wisps and emotive guitar work from steering this track skywards.  On the flip, 'Alien Race' dabbles in a similar sound palette but to decidedly different ends, leaving the Balearics behind for interplanetary booty-thumping mayhem. Pitched-down vocal samples and minor-key digitalia instill a sense of menace that is only deepened by the stomping drum work and a devastatingly simple bassline.

Deep House Mestro Nacho Marco joins forces with Sais and Fabiani and together they're dropping a Balearic House stormer (with a certain Jan Hammer influence). Although they keep the things simple the track relentlessly grows during its whole length to full effect. OOFT! is on the remix duties. He speeds up the track, so the purist can call it house without suffering, and he does a great job while doing it, taking the whole thing into deeper territories.

With a shuffle, a wink and a swing of the hips, Original Cuts returns to wax with a quartet of tried-and-tested dancefloor bumpers from label head honcho Deadly Sins.

As usual, Deadly Sins has provided us with a four-pack of hypnotic, filter-heavy disco cuts that slither their way across the dancefloor with all the sinewy charm of an eager python on heat. Taken inspiration from forgotten disco gems and simmering secret soul jams, Original Cuts 03 bumps, grinds, struts and jigs from start to finish.

Now is the time for Aitor Etxebarria, better known as El_Txef_A to expose his innermost feelings, as he's already begun to on releases from labels like Hypercolour, Suol and Wazi Wazi.

Smith & Mudd are back in fne style on Claremont 56, followng
up their excellent LP with this great double header. 'Sauna Love'
is the lead track, an uptempo, string laden boogie house affair,
as ever the instrumentation and playing is of the highest quality
and the dance-ability is turned up. Great vibes, bass, strings and
punchy percussion all rolling along into the sunshine.
On side-B 'The Surveyor' is a great piece of otherworldly elec-
tronic music, coming on like some weird cough medicine induced
dream. The bass pulses along with mystery dialogue, light key
fourishes and an intent that is delivered about 5 minutes in when
the kick drops and the whole thing shifts into a latenight, alt disco
bomb. Ace stuff again.

Sometimes chance encounters can lead to the strangest outcomes.......
Late last year, whilst record shopping in a Buenos Aires Flea Market, we met a fellow British vinyl buyer who was just back from a trip to Southern Africa. He'd spent some time crate digging in Botswana of all places and whilst attending a gig, he was handed a cassette (remember those !) from a certain Bepu N'Gali. Knowing he was looking for a deal, it was duly passed onto International Feel (whom then had to swiftly purchase a cassette player) and we headed back to Uruguay for a listen.

The musical connection between Berlin and Detroit has always been a very strong and inspring one. Jazzanova continues this close dialogue by putting Mike Huckaby in charge of remixing their latest song I Human. Huckaby is one of the unsung heroes of Detroit techno. With his highly acclaimed deep house productions and remixes for Deepchord, Juan Atkins, Vladislav Delay, Pole, Loco Dice, LoSoul, and Pacou, (just to name a few) he is more than well respected in the city's underground community ‚and way beyond.

For World Unknown 6 we've headed up north for a Newcastle double header. On Side W Emile Strunz delivers some stunning midtempo body music sleaze. On Side U the Last Waltz guys get all subsonic and spacey with Lovebites. As you'd expect both tracks are pure WU and guaranteed to demolish all proper dancefloors.

After an acclaimed serie of remixes on labels like Freerange, Fresh Meat, Composite & Komplex De Deep in 2011, Dairmount is back
on his own imprint with Dust Devil. Recorded this summer between Gothenburg & Berlin with Nowakowski, the Swedish hotshot of the
label, Dust Devil emphasized strongly Dairmount's love for House music infused of Hip Hop attitude. The motto is clear : reduced
number of elements, samples only, maximum impact. Dairmount, who has always been strongly influenced by Hip Hop production
techniques, had lots of fun to collaborate with Nowakowski, another strong Hip Hop influenced tweaker. Following a busy dj schedule
that brought him in the last 18 months across Scandinavia, US, Turkey, France, Holland & Latvia between others, Dairmount is the true
soul & ambassador of the label that he created in 2009.
Collecting records since his childhood, he slowly discovered the world of spinning with his early Hip Hop heroes such as Dj Premier
& Pete Rock, early records of Acid house and the versatility of Gilles Peterson's Talkin Loud imprint. As a result of this, he immersed
himself in the deepness of the Black music history : Jazz, Latin , Hip Hop, Detroit Techno, House and Afro Funk entered his record
collection. In the nineties, he quickly built himself a solid reputation in the underground club circuit that granted him to play at several
major events in Benelux including the famous Eskimo nights (before it became a famous label) or big festivals as Dour, 10 Days Off or
Axion Beach and extended his dj trips across Europe & overseas alongside prestigious spinners such as Kevin Saunderson,
Gilles Peterson, Jazzanova, Rainer Trüby, Derrick May, Mad Mats, Dimitri from Paris, Fred Everything, King Britt, Kirk Di Giorgio,
Jimpster or 4hero and opened concerts for performers like Herbie Hancock and St Germain. He also proudly represented Belgium at
the 2nd edition of the now world reknown Red Bull Music Academy held in 99 in Berlin.
Dairmount contributed during 8 years as one of the main editors of the respected Plastiks magazine in Belgium before founding in 2003
metronomic-family, a web portal as a means to share his musical beliefs with a worldwide audience. Overwhelmed by positive
feedback of hungry music lovers worldwide, the site managed to create a prolific discovery factor that contributed many upcoming artists
& underground labels to reach a wider audience. Known by many as a 'man of challenge & initiative', he moved from his native Brussels
in 1999 to explore other countries leading him to live a transatlantic passion for Montreal (where he managed & restyled the legendary
Primitive record shop) and landed in Hamburg in 2003. Actively taking part to future developments of the ever-changing music industry,
Phil took part to the digital revolution in its early steps and became in 2004 (till present) A&R and label manager of respected labels such
as Trusme's Prime Numbers, Gerd's 4Lux Black, Soulphiction's Philpot, Jazzanova's Sonar Kollektiv, Jimpster's Freerange, Theo Parrish's
Sound Signature and many others inside the team of the respected digital indie Finetunes.
Besides his dedication & work for others, Phil stepped in the studio in 2005 to give birth to his early production projects such as Smiles
Ahead (with David Alexander) & Petter & Dairmount (with Ralf Petter) which resulted in remix works for artists as diverse as 'ex-Beanfield'
Sandboy, swedish prodigies Hird & Yukimi Nagano (from Little Dragon fame) & NYC's producer Moses McClean on labels like Hinterland
(Ger), DNM (Swe) and Still Music (US). With great encouragements and plays from luminaries as Jimpster, Atjazz, Laurent Garnier, Mr Scruff,
Sasse or Jazzanova, he caught the virus trying more and more to escape his busy schedule to push his production skills. This led Phil
to become Dairmount, his new identity & production moniker and to create his own production unit with his long time friend Marino Berardi
(known as Dairmount & Berardi, today on hold) & to the accomplishment of his long time dream, the launch of his own label, Room With Ac
View, in April 2009.

Performed on an array of synthesizers and experimenting with spoken word and vocals from various local singers; Giuseppe's 'TBC' EP take us on a dance through the catacombs and out through the jungle floor with ritualistic rhythm and haunting song... Whilst at other moments Giuseppe's horizontal ambient pieces leave us gazing out on the shores of a distant half-remembered planet.

After only one release in 2013, Schönbrunner Perlen start the year strongly with their 6th EP. This one comes from Austrian producer Ken Hayakawa, who since the middle of the last decade has been toiling away on labels like Musik Gewinnt Freunde, Kina Music and Goldmin Music, always toying with house music and moody electronics in equal measure. As well as four originals, there is a meaty selection of remixes from the likes of Zusammenklang, Tobitob, caTekk, Mike Vinyl and Julian & der Fux Cover.Says Ken of his latest EP: 'This release is dedicated to my daughter Kasumi, who was born in 2012. All tracks were produced in this period when I became father, so it was a very important time and I want to capture those feelings on black gold for her. The remixers that I chose are friends and help to keep the whole release personal and familial.' First up is 'Toy Like Us', which pairs a thoughtful house groove with prickly synths and heavenly chords to create a doleful end of the night vibe. 'Positive Effects' is another clean, shiny and metallic affair with harmonious bell sounds, a wavy groove and incidental sounding melodies that really creep their way into your brain. 'Shining' is the first track to pick up the tempo. It kicks at a nice pace but is still an organic and cinematic affair, with tweeting birds and solemn string notes ringing out into a vast chamber that rumbles to the sound of distant bass. What sound like sad trumpets also bleed into the mix and 'Talking Baby' closes out the originals with recordings of a real baby echoing above paddy kick drums. There are plenty of percussive sounds - a baby's rattle, a warm xylophone - and the spirit of childhood and inherent optimism of a newborn baby really do shine through the whole track.'Toy Like Us' is the track that gets all the remix attention, with two versions making it on to vinyl (one from Zusammenklang that is dark and driven, and one from Tobitob that is chunky and disco-fried) and threemore being offered as digital only cuts.Tobitob appears once more with another disco leaning version, Julian & der Fux Cover go all drawn outand epic in their sparkly version, and caTekk & Mike build their mix in warm, rich layers. This is a heartfelt project from Ken Hayakawa, and that really shows in the spiritual and emotional music he has created for it.

Ivan Pavlov aka CoH characterizes his latest solo work,Radiant Faults,as “the recording of a dialogue,” rather than a set of compositions. Crafted using a rare new synthesizer,the Silhouette Eins, Pavlov’s first encounter with the instrument across a long, late night session resultedin a continuous set of textures, patterns, and subliminal melodies. Atsome point during the process, he realized he was not alone: “It was as ifsomething was speaking to me through the gear–the feeling was very intense.No matter how determined and specific I attempted to be, theresults were something else. They felt like 'responses.’ This instantly reminded me of ELpH.

‘Homeschool’. He released remixes for artists such as

the owner to music publishing. In 2021 Greene
released ‘ANTH01’, a reissue compiling his first few
years of releases across various labels, alongside
unheard tracks from the era.

Speaking of the 12' Matt suggests that Commissioning DrumTalk to make some new music for A Crushing Glow Presents was a crystal clear choice to make. He continues: Those that are down
with his house trax will be aware of a depth that runs through his music. I've known DrumTalk for years and I know that current runs deep. Surfing on synth waves of endless barrels of cosmic
vibrations, DT takes us on a journey from the blackness into the blue and beyond.

Out 26th April, "Atlantic Oscillations" marks the return of world-renowned British producer Quantic ahead of the release of his most cohesive and intricate album to date. As the first Quantic release under his main solo moniker since 2014's critically acclaimed 'Magnetica', "Atlantic Oscillations" embodies a disco vibrancy taken directly from sweaty dance nights in Brooklyn's small disco and dance clubs, "I've had the chance to see some great DJs and got into the disco edit and some incredible dance songs. NYC summers are great for outdoor parties and I wanted to make something which was long and had a real journey for these kind of parties", Holland explains "it was primarily my wish to make a bad disco tune". The finished product is a track shimmering with the warmth of a New York City summer and the energy of a party equipped with a well-stocked free bar.

Deep Listening 2019 - 2022 features the best of Richard Norris' recent ambient, downtempo and deep listening music.
This reflective, meditative take on electronic music has been a daily practice for the musician for some years, and has resulted in numerous releases on the Group Mind and Inner Mind labels. Included are a number of 'Music For Healing' tracks, part of an ongoing series of releases specifically created for relaxation and anxiety relief. The results have been quite phenomenal. People have given birth to this music, and there have been many reports of people using this music to help anxiety, stress and bereavement.

Richard Norris is well known for his work with Soft Cell's Dave Ball in the Grid, and Erol Alkan in Beyond The Wizards Sleeve, as well as many solo releases, productions and remixes.
