After his "ETERNAMENTE EP" on MATHEMATICS, GIORGIO LUCERI returns with an amazing debut full length album. Combining classical keys with the old and new sounds of electronic music, he creates an atmosphere perfect for dark club floors, open air festivals, and afterhours. 10 tracks total.

Geordie pairing Last Waltz mark their Tusk Wax debut in illustrious fashion with the first of two releases for the label; hand stamped, individually numbered and weighty 180g vinyl only release this may be, but there's still room in the sleeve for the concluding chapter. Tusk Wax 11a is opened by "Glamour Thing" which pairs motorboat arpeggios and interlocking kick-hat manoeuvre with playful synth fades. Sharing the A-side is "Tipping the Gulf", which sounds like a detuned version of music from Nintendo's arcade classic Cruis'n USA, while Jamie Blanco's remix makes use of the original's sustained leads, edging up them up in octaves to create extra tension. The final track ""Beholden (part 1)" is the record's ambient piece, with Last Waltz sampling, reversing and effecting the high pitched guitar plucking of UK indie band Foals.

Stratus are Mat Anthony and Martin Jenkins, two English gents whose love for warped soundtracks, fuzzed-out psychedelia and analogue aesthetics was distilled in the bittersweet harmonies and wistful bliss of last year's long-awaited second album 'As the Crow Flies', taking in everything from sublime pastoral electronics through to string-laden cosmic rock.

No Johnny-come-lately's to tinkering in the studio down the years they've remixed the likes of Serge Gainsbourg, Minimal Compact and Calexico, released records under a variety of aliases for labels including Pussyfoot, Klein, Tigersushi, Hi-Phen, Ghost Box and Fragments whilst notching up the a fair few DJ gigs and lost weekends along the way.

The Spring Tide EP finds them dipping their toes in distinctly Balearic waters.

Fireflies kicks things off with a mid-tempo cut of driving guitar harmonics, lush Rhodes and sun-kissed strings.
My Brother's Keeper channels Cadet-era Dorothy Ashby with a looping harp refrain and low-slung bass and drums.
Lune d'Afrique ups the tempo with swinging Afro drums, mbira and swirling arpeggios before a choral refrain takes it up and beyond.

Sympatry was originally written for a timelapse film - lilting acoustic guitar, glockenspiel and Mini-moog lines drenched in reverb that shimmer with a homespun beauty.

Belfast Bass producer Unknown who has built up a huge following with a steady stream of tunes on YouTube and Soundcloud, made his vinyl debut with last year's #001-010 series on Champion Sound Recordings, and now he returns to the label with his best and most diverse work yet, the I Cry EP.

The Unknown trademarks - waves of sub-bass, expertly swung percussion and a dark, seductive and tense atmosphere - are all there, and he's pushing into new and fascinating territories too, with some brighter textures, house vibes and his first ever vocal collaboration on the stunning title track, 'I Cry'.

Blame kicks things off with a typically weighty slab of astral garage. The emotionally-wracked track emerges from a blissed-out miasma of synths into a skewed half-step rhythm adorned with mournful vocals and anchored with plenty of low-end. It's melancholic, but not without hope. The vocal track I Cry also plays at the boundary of sorrow and optimism. Aquatic piano chords, crisp hats and a cascading bassline play beneath a gorgeous vocal from Dublin-born newcomer Gemma Dunleavy. More than a shiver-inducing UK bass track, it's an emotionally bruising song.

The EP's final two tracks head purposefully towards the club. Lucid is the clearest signal yet of Unknown's affinity for house - a tough, bass-heavy roller saturated in acidic synths, it will work the darkest of dancefloors. Meanwhile, Belfast house tyro Ejeca gets to work on a garage-flavoured remix of I Cry. Reminiscent of his classic Bicep collaboration, You, it rounds off the EP in anthemic style, with infectious synth stabs, eerie strings and Gemma Dunleavy's soulful vocals weaving in and out of the mix.

New Yorker Steve Moore crushes summer with this one, hot on the heels of his recent LIES record. These are songs for the next day people, music for those still dedicated to after daylight hits. "Zen Spiders" heads for the Outback with cresting waves and eureka moments set against a blinking synth sculpture. On the flip, "Lwaxana" turns slow motion into no motion at all as the track hovers and forms into a cloud, at sleaze tempo. Produced by Melbourne's Andras Fox, the 4-track EP follows an instant sell-out on Dopeness Galore and captures the RBMA graduate's contagious bounce and optimistic minimal melodies. Based around the TR-606 and digital Korg M1 drums, these original tape recordings are simultaneously contemporary in sound and difficult to carbon date, slipping comfortably between 80s Bruton Music, Rheji Burrell and Dam Funk. It is neither a new computer game, nor a novelist - but most certainly the tightest live formation that Jazz & Milk has to offer to date! GTA Hoffmann sips out of your ear, sways your hips and bypasses the vessels of your awareness, 120 times per minute. Three musicians, experienced in diverse and manifold musical areas, play their own and unique creation of live dance music. Beni Brachtel, aka Bartellow (guitar), Lukas Rabe (keys) and Gabriel Hahn (drums) operate their instruments as armatures of turning knobs, sliders and effect pedals and pave their way through earthy R'n'B grooves, wooden house and analogue elevator-minimalism. As improvisers and composers they love to play with shapes, moods and all types of sounds. The result is pure energy, which inspires deep listening, immersion and dancing. What appears to be an artificially produced electronica record is in fact the live sound of a trio, which levitates through space and time - far away from any musical categorization - while sonically complementing and reorganizing earthly pulse.

Nihjgt Feelings is a record label currently based in Bozcaada, Turkey and run by oOoOO with a couple of local gravediggers. They release heartbroken night music. In June 2013 they will present oOoOO's debut LP.

In a completely revolutionary process the powder was distilled and filtered by boffins and local music producers to manufacture the music you find on this record. Even more surprisingly maybe is that it turns out that the same powder can be both inhaled and injected. I've just had a bit actually and it's not bad.' I'm going to spoil everyone's fun here and now and tell you (if you hadn't already worked it out) that it's 'Luke', spelled backwards. Simple. Why Luke Again, simple - the young gentleman who penned these glorious ditties goes by the name of Luke Campion. A name to remember.

You may remember Campion's debut release - Apparitions this time last year. Luke's sound has matured and developed since then, and APRWAX004 is his latest statement piece.

Kicking thing's off a rather chunky remix from Craig Smith and Ricky Reid in their 'Soul Renegades' guise. Craig and Ricky tease out the Spanish guitar from 'Ekul' that is barely noticeable in the original - and bring it very much to the fore - and very much to the floor.

Title track 'Ekul' is a glorious chunk of dreamy house. I'm slightly loathe to describe it as 'warm' since Daft Punk's latest offering has rung out that particular adjective, but it really is. It's beautiful, that's what I think.

Where 'Ekul' is one of those 'Balearic' tracks suited to beach bars and roof terraces, blissed out times, man - 'Tengelmann' takes those sentiments and injects a little more energy, more bounce - but still with the pure love vibes.

DISCOVERY Recordings is proud to release Coule'Ba by Analog Players Society, a collective melting pot of musicians lead by Amon. Coule'Ba draws from West African influences and features the incredible Missia Saran Diabate of Guinea on lead vocals. Shortly after the release was lined up, the studio and surrounding areas endured Hurricane Sandy. With the Red Hook Initiative, Amon and his family began helping out wherever they could. When power finally returned and the debris was cleared, it seemed only appropriate that the record should benefit the organization that did so much for Red Hook during that time. All profits benefit the Red Hook Initiative.

From humble origins in Detroit, raised on a healthy diet of Motown, Jazz, and Early Hip Hop - Terrel Wallace (aka Tall Black Guy) has become a standard bearer for the current hip hop beats scene. Through a steady stream of productions filled with incredibly clever sample flips and deft production chops, he has won fans across the world, including Gilles Peterson (who included him on one of his Brownswood Bubblers albums), Lefto, Anthony Valadez and countless others. With the tangible beginnings of worldwide recognition, Tall Black Guy has established himself to be one of the most influential producers working today.

8 Miles To Moenart has literally brought Tall Black Guy full circle. Detroit was where he started making music, and it's to his hometown he returns to draw inspiration for his debut album. Taking in low-slung hip hop, downtempo house and jazz-tinged street soul, it's a record of rare focus. It encapsulates the musical heritage of Detroit, through the looking glass of Tall Black Guy's own signature sound.

The SHIFTED FLOW 002 EP sees another diverse release from Matthew Burton & Kate Rathod. The five tracker also has a couple of collaborations. A2 sees Matthew team up with friend, tattooist, and lover of all things analog, Bangla Design (George from the island of Cyprus). While on the flip side b1 sees Matthew & Kate along side their favourite producer and old friend BLM. The whole EP is packed full of moody atmospheric textures and vibes which can be enjoyed at home spaced out or on a dark sweaty dance floor in equal measure.

Following on from his blistering Essential Mix debut back in February, Marco Niemerski AKA Tensnake releases his highly anticipated new single '58 BPM' on May 13th. Just like his equally on-point remix for Little Boots celebrating Record Store Day in 2012, this new release is an equally limited vinyl run that's limited to 400 copies worldwide - only this time, the music is all his own. And the remix on the flip comes from Dublin-via-Berlin producer Mano Le Tough.
'58 BPM' is the first fruits of Tensnake's long-awaited artist album, which will be released at the end of September. A little slower than some of his recent output, '58 BPM' is a shimmering, soul-drenched electronic ballad that features the vocal talent of Berlin-based singer/songwriter Fiora.
With a catalogue that already includes classics like 'Coma Cat', 'Holding Back My Love' and 'In The End (I Want You To Cry)', Tensnake is one of the most exciting electronic artists at work today. We'll leave the last word to Niemerski himself:
'58BPM' is a song I produced with the super-talented singer Fiora, who features on several tracks on my forthcoming album. I am extremely proud of the song and the whole vibe of the track - and it's a sign of what's to come: The remix on the b-side comes from Mano Le Tough, whose new 'Changing Days' album on Permanent Vacation I really love. Christian Prommer und Alex Barck sind sehr viel unterwegs gewesen, haben in kleinen Clubs gespielt und auf großen Bühnen. London's Holdie Gawn & Micawber are coming back 2 months after their debut release in Sylphe. The second instalment follows the pattern of the first with the duo contributing a track each to form Sylphe 02. Holdie Gawn's ''Distinc'' combines the syncopated rhythms and shuffle between the bassline and the snare to create deep-moving rhythms with an enigmatic feel, whereas Micawber's ''Satellite Systems'' goes deep in the sub-frequency spectrum with a bottom heavy bass line and electronic melodies, resulting in a late night exploration of electronics. Once again, this is a limited white label, hand stamped and hand numbered series of 500 records.

Driven by a kinetic synth bassline, 'Beachcombing' has an almost Kraftwerk-esque clarity.

The Long walk starts with the main body of the groove, combining the drums, bass and strings into one morphed soundscape. The strings, as if breathing life in and out of every 4 bar phrase, rocks the listener back and forth, as the acid line is allowed to weave itself, almost freely, in and out of the percussive detailing. This builds a bed for the next progression of the string section to reveal themselves, majestically!

All in all this track is a mighty groover which would keep any dance floor jumping and smiling as it evolves. The effortless way this track builds into a modern day 'Acid Eiffel', is fair to say and also a very pleasant surprise On the flip we have the afrobeat dancefloor bomb The Other World, starting with a hypnotic loop which soon drops into effortless head nodding groove with lovely off kilter piano stabs. By the time the break comes the vocal builds the break up to unleash the full groove and send the dancefloor into an afro beat.

After causing mayhem in the hands of a select few dj's, and rising to anthem status at Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston's mighty A Love From Outer Space, Logan Fisher's edit of "Walk The Night" is finally getting a vinyl only release on his Haules Baules imprint , accompanied by a mind altering acid interpolation remix courtesy of the aforementioned Mr Johnston in his Hardway Bros guise.

So it's HB on HB action, as Haules Baules open proceedings on edit duty, ruthlessly stripping the original of it's Glam tendencies, and refocusing it into a throbbing slice of camp, disco menace.
Sinister synths, sweeps and delays fuse with the original leaving you swaggering about on the dancefloor like Gary Glitter on Ketamine.
Sean's been banging them out of late, putting his now signature Hardway Bros sound on mixes for Alien Alien, Ajello and The Asphodells.
Here we see one of his most established efforts yet, taking Creeper down into cavernous EBM dub territory. Pulsating leads, teasing chants and a distorted vocal guide us to it's brooding depths, before our voodoo hips succumb to the unstopable Hardway Bros acid wiggle. Look out, take care cause Creeper's most definitely gonna get ya!

The undisputed Queen of House Liz Torres is back on the scene with "Your Love is All I Need", a sensual track mixing heartache and hope of a love renewed. The title track blends the old and the new to create a dancefloor hit reminiscent of Emotive's early 90s output. Dennis Kane of Disques Sinthomme NY explores a guitar led disco odyssey version which has already been picked up by none other than Dave Mancuso and had its debut at the Loft last month. East London's Toby Tobias turns out a 9 minute late night build bringing in the acid and analogue elements he does so damn well. Finally the dub mix offers a stripped down MAW-esque pounding which should find its place on any sweat drenched floor. Liz Torres "Your Love is All I Need" 12" out soon on Luxor Records.

Touch Sensitive's debut single 'Body Stop' was one of the first tracks released on Future Classic, all the way back in 2004. Cloaked in anonymity it's cosmic vibes and Italo authenticity made it a cult favourite among discerning DJ circles from East London to Brooklyn. Re-emerging in 2006 under the Arithmatixx! pseudonym to produce a remix of (at the time) fledgling disco producer Mario Basanov it was later revealed both aliases to be the solo project of Van She co-writer and co-founding member Michael Di Francesco. Fast forward to 2012 and his third track 'Real Talk', a collaboration with Anna Lunoce, saw Touch Sensitive spend five (5!) months at the top of the Beatport indie-dance charts with what was universally recognised as one of the underground hits of the year.

The 2012 was really a breakthrough year for SPDSC with releases on labels Teardrop, Tusk Wax, Whiskey Disco, Conservation Dept, and Seven Music, plus remixes for Lovebirds, Leaves aka Iron Curtis, Mario Basanov, Vincenzo, Rocco Raimundo and others. In addition SPDSC is a live project consisting of 8 members, with their first live EP forthcoming on Is It Balearic in early 2013.
Kirill Sergeev was playing in live band for ages before he started really recording his own stuff under SPDSC moniker, and at that time he was really fond of 4 Hero, Herbaliser, Jaga jazzist, and DJ Food stuff. One of the evenings in December (2012) the feeling of that period came back to Kirill and Tender Melody came to life. In his own words, it is really an ode to those times and music of that period in his life. At first you think this track falls more into jazzy breaks category but over the last few months this tracks has been played in many venues and it simply rocked the dancefloor, it is in fact very danceable tune. “Can’t You See Me” on the A side, is slo-mo jam based on really funky bassline with repitched notes which reminds us a bit of Manchester Hacienda scene. You listen to it and you can't get it out of my head for days.
