Acid Horse was a one-off single collaboration between Ministry’s Al Jourgensen (Alien Dog Star), Chris Connelly (Gallopin’ Scorpionsaddlebutt), Bill Rieflin (Biff), and Cabaret Voltaire’s Stephen Mallinder (Tennessee King) and Richard H. Kirk (Harold Sandoz). The name of the project is a combination of the slang terms for LSD (acid) and heroin (horse), as well as a play on the title of the then-popular acid house movement.

Acid Horse recorded their “No Name, No Slogan” in 1989 for Wax Trax! Records. The same song was performed differently on each side, one produced by Ministry and the other by Cabaret Voltaire.

Limited to 350 copies pressed on pink vinyl with artwork inspired on the original design and a sticker with the classic horse head skull.

The illusive Nelson of the East reappears with his forthcoming EP Phase Alternating Lines – a first class two-tracker.

The Swiss-born, Milanese artist released his first EP Night Frames just last year, making a strong entrance on Tartelet Records. This time around, N.O.T.E explores 80s electro boogie with ‘Phase Alternating Lines’ on the A side, and delivers his very own take on obscure tribal house with “Burning Palm” on the B side.

N.O.T.E is young, thirsty, and dead serious about his music. His admirable work ethic shows off not only in his own releases but also in his collaborations with other artists. In the past year alone, he has produced for Wayne Snow and several others that are keeping their work under wraps – while simultaneously creating music as N.O.T.E and under his Verner moniker. All the hard work seems to be paying off on this new 12’, where he comes through with two outstanding dance-floor bombshells.

If you’re into the 80s, Beverly Hills Cop, or just sad that you missed out on Studio 54, you’re going to love EP opener, “Phase Alternating Lines”. It’s got it all: hot drum programming, an electric boogie bassline and a cheeky melody that sticks. “Burning Palm” takes us into obscure tribal-meets-afro-house territory, utilizing percussion, synth marimba and hypnotic melodies – all held together in a tight, driving groove. This track is exotic at its root and perfect for any late night outdoor activity. Both tracks come as extended edits for the vinyl release.

This is a limited-edition release of 400 copies, written and produced by N.O.T.E, arranged by N.O.T.E in close collaboration with Tartelet Records’ label head Dirk 81 and mixed at Panalama Studios in Copenhagen on the Neve 5088 Shelford console for good measure.

Coming off the heals the enormously well received Cosmidelic Africa Vol 1 Vinyl Edition and the full-length CD, we are proud to present the second part of the 12” series. Different from Part 1 where the record featured the unofficial edits side of Joaquin’s Journey.

Part Two is all about Joaquin’s original compositions. The versions that are included on this twelve inch have been extended for DJS to play. The 12Inch also features a variety of different genres of Dance and Head Music, such as the Cosmic Jazz Dance composition of “Come and Fly with Me” by the Brooklyn Soul and Heat Band, to the Avant Guarded influenced “Mundo De Agua” by or Other Souls & Things, and
but not least “Emarofo Tech” which is a dope Cosmic House-Jam just to mention a few.

MUSAR introduces a new artist into its already stellar fold with the arrival of a new EP from Tokyo-based DJ and producer, Hoshina Anniversary.

Hoshina's previous releases on labels including Volvox's Jack Dept. have earned him support from a wide range of DJs including Laurel Halo, Lena Willikens, Young Marco and Veronica Vasicka.

'Zangai' is made up of three new tracks that play on Hoshina's influences from contemporary techno to experimental jazz, filtered through his Japanese heritage, coupled with a soaring remix from MUSAR associate, Ricardo Tobar. Throughout the trio, Hoshina Anniversary traverses a number of moods without ever sacrificing his innate sense of rhythm.

Lead track 'Zangai' is a rolling acid paean to the atmospheric ruins of Oda Nobunaga's Azuchi Castle, while a darker mood and texture defines the satisfyingly rubbery techno weight of 'Tenjin', translating as "deified spirit". Tobar expels the darkness at the centre to see the light for his buoyant remix, leading to the jazzy, high-tempo electro of 'Tenjou' to close the record.

HIPPIE CRACK – music is our drug – it makes us happy and gives us the chance to flee from the gray and ordinary daily routine. These 12 Tracks are highly addictively. Dave + Sam are the Brooklyn based duo making house music with a message. We're delighted to share this record from the Moscow-based recording artist OL aka Oleg Buyanov. His most recent work, the double LP "Height Difference" on the seminal Gost Zvuk label, saw him transmit his research in soviet sound heritage into a range of genres and tempos. On "Dismeteo", we see him inhabit a similar atmosphere, refracted through a different lens of influence. In Buyanov's own words, "The tracks are like concrete blocks & buildings lost in the woods. It's a point where correct geometry and mathematical constructions meet with organic forms.
