Fresh of their most busy year actively djing in Milan and across Europe, Ayce Bio, Turenne and Borbo are ready to launch a new Ep: One track each + a Remix by Bologna's finest producer and vinyl collector DJ Rou.

Mixed and mastered by Reel Mastering, distributed by Rubadub Uk.

Funclab records runs a monthly show on Rocket Radio and a club night at Apollo club, inviting al- ways different dj's and producers to share the decks with them, among others they played with San Proper, Boo Williams, Eclair Fifi and Pangea.

After the first release 'House al dente', they spent one month during the summer touring with a van around Europe to promote the vinyl, going to their favourite radios and vinyl stores to bring it personally, ending at Barrakud festival in Croatia in front of two thousand people with a dj set and set design.

The collective is the real strength behind the newborn record label, collaborating with a lot of local producers they're always working on new things, in the next few months they are going to release also a various and other two eps.

Glitterbox are proud to announce the first of two new singles from Horse Meat Disco and founding member of Sister Sledge, Kathy Sledge. Co-produced by Classic Music Company boss Luke Solomon, the nightlife champions have finessed their unstoppable strutting disco style with ‘Falling Deep In Love’, perfectly representing the Glitterbox sound at its freshest on this 12” release, offering a sublime preview to their forthcoming album. Sledge’s unmistakable soulful vocals paired with the impeccable production and live instrumentation give this record that classic disco sound reminiscent of some of Sister Sledge’s classics. On the flip Joey Negro delivers his funk-laden Disco Blend, with the house master demonstrating his spotless knowledge of the genres to create a cut destined to light up Glitterbox dancefloors and beyond.

When the past and the future collide, unexpected things can happen. And when we have music at the core and such talent providing the raw materials being the vector for this encounter is a privilege we like to gloat. Carioca avant-gardiste Guerrinha's Repetentes 2008 is a project that is close to our hearts and minds through its rare ability to convey deep nostalgia in a playful futuristic way, renovating a tradition that is the quintessence of their hometown's musical heritage with a zest for jest. Exactly what the offer here in two irresistible grooves that, while maintaining the clarity of references they lie upon, refresh them in a joyful way: 'Missão Misturebar' and 'Judas Preist'. The flipside 'Gelo Geronimo' takes us across a similar path, but intensifies the emotional element and desnifies the rhythmic components to deliver the kind of track that only a master of French alchemy such as Gilb'r could transmutate by subverting its principles in a somewhat darker take. In the world of disco edits The Patchouli Brothers are as in demand as you can possibly be right now.

Their edits and reworks are played and hyped by all the major players in the game and now they got a two-part release on GAMM.
On the first EP we begin with All Good Things, a looped up disco nugget aimed straight for the peak hour...decent!
On the B, we get more organic with a proper feel-good disco thang in classic Patchouli style.

Royal Athlete Records are back with another set of party bombs, lovingly curated to achieve maximum perspiration. Heading up side A is 'Dreamers' by UK's Chaconne. A certified disco-piano-banger, recalling 80s NYC hedonism and emotion. (The Real) Kent Clark, who so far has only one release on Bordello's Riviera Disco series follows up with an electro-boogie dub workout entitled 'Make It Right'. Our man in Holland: Aux Tha Masterfader, takes us back to the old-school with the LinnDrum breakdance beast, 'Let's Dance To The Beat'... He commands, we obey. Closing up is Dilemma, who recalls the memory of the early days of Belgium's debauched nightlife with searing leads and low-motion grooves in 'Bocca Nights'. All tracks mastered by Alek Stark.

Originally released in October on Eskimo Recordings, Paresse's 'Sloth Machine' EP won the Swedish producer a legion of new fans attracted to its mix of cosmic disco, balearic house and elegant, emotional electronica. Hailed by Clash Magazine as recalling "everyone from early Eno - think 'The Big Ship' - to Giorgio Moroder" the EP quickly worked its way into sets of DJs such as Moscoman, Marvin & Guy, Phillipi y Rodrigo, Yuksek, Justin Robertson, Rob da Bank, The Aston Shuffle and many more. With the throbbing Italo-disco inspired 'Temple' proving to be especially popular with DJs Eskimo have pressed the track onto a limited edition 12", alongside a brand new remix from hotly tipped Russian brothers Simple Symmetry (Disco Halal/Multi Culti). Wisely opting to retain much of the feel of the original, Sasha and Sergey have instead gently pushed the tempo, toughened up the drums with a new focus on the track's percussive elements and added a greater depth of space, providing even more room to lose yourself on the dancefloor amongst the track's eerie synths and wordless chants.

The Home Taping label return with a highly accomplished release by London based producer Duff Disco. Already known for the eclectic nature of his work, Duff Disco moves it around effortlessly on this EP from the raw and underground sounds of 'Feed The Horse' to the more classic Motor City influenced vibes of 'The Heat' and finishes it off in some style with the chunky Beatdown beats of 'You And Nothing Else'.

DJ Pope from Chicago has remixed Love Thang by Iconic Salsoul Records girl group First Choice. Lead singer Rochelle Flemming is still touring internationally and singing the groups classics that have stood the test of time, Love Thang being one of them.

DJ Pope has made a mark in the soulful house scene and brings his skills to this record for release on Salsoul Records. Featuring funky saxophones, the remix offers a contemporary, progressive take on the original that is sure to get dancefloors moving this summer.

Way back then Home Taping dropped a release by an anonymous act called Klic that turned out to be another moniker for a Medlar production. Now the imprint re-launch the original alongside a couple of mighty remixes by the Tuff City Kids - in both Acid and Garage modes - plus an extension and rework of the original vibes by Dicky Trisco that pushes the proper Deep House meets Disco button. All the remixes sit nice and proud alongside the still shining brilliance of the original cut.

On their latest release, The Magic Movement presents a concept EP by Luca Musto, in which he reflects on the story of his provenance.

Dipped in blues and marinated in Jazz, this release is a diverse journey in all the ways: 'Once Upon A Grind' kicks off with a reflection of his father's immigration from Italy to Germany.
The strong groove of this moody gem reveals Luca's roots in Hip Hop, making heads nod without any trouble. Next up is 'Parabel', a hypnotic slow-house jam, with rich textures and alluring vocals which tells of new adventures on the road.

The beautifully dislocated & mid-tempo 'Bouganvilles Live' lays out some warm analogue textures across a live percussion base, while the Vocal Edit of title track Nu World ploughs a similar furrow to early Metro Area, with rich musical synth work over a pacey Afro groove and undeniable Jazz-Funk flair. The Flute Mix passes over the vocal refrain from mix one and just gets down and wigs-out on those solos - an absolute killer ! Queen & Disco Records returns with the natural successor to the throne, Royalty of Funk Vol.2.

ROF Vol.2 follows the same path forged by its predecessor, with Alan Mooney's Edits leading you into the musical journey to follow with the imperious By My Side. What better way to kick off proceedings than the King of Pop himself, cut in such a way that it's just as unrecognisable as he was at the end of it all. Ruhrmann & Rockwell’s debut 12" EP marks the inaugural release for Amikron Records, a colognian imprint established together by the friends of 'Chicago Am Rhein' and 'Ruhrmann & Rockwell' for modern dancefloor records of all kind.

The first music from the Cologne producer duo features four library instrumental tracks, all created and rearranged for a dj-friendly use.

If an artist strives to leave a mark on music he must be more concerned with his character than his reputation. In that regard, Sander Mölder makes the perfect example. Hailing from Estonia, Sander has worked his way through a classical formation after thirteen years of cello tuition, which allowed him to perform at London's Royal Albert Hall as part of a chamber orchestra and at Red Bull Music Academy in 2012.

With roots in funk, garage and deep house, Sander style is not confined by genre barriers, but whatever he does, there's a definitive soul element to it. Originally surfacing in 2013 and played by legendary British selector Gilles Peterson and BBC 1 host Mary-Anne Hobbs, 'In Your Eyes' gets an official release on Rebirth in 2014 with a strong remix package. The first 10" part includes mixes from Eddie Fowlkes and Lay-Far.

Detroit master of Technosoul Eddie Fowlkes follows his hot 'Something Special' tune with a great mix, cutting the original vocals and synth parts and delivering a strong version, that sounds already hot for the summer days.

The Moscow-based dj and produce Lay-Far is on the B side showing again his talent for deep 'n slow disco vibe fusing deep rhythms, jazz, funk and soul.

For his debut EP, DJLMP shows his eclectic vision of the club music, passing throw disco samples, house music and percussive vibes. "Blow Your Mind" open the EP with an epic and dreamy filtered sample. On a2, DJLMP gives his dancefloor and house vision of "Kachi Kachi" by the brilliant In Flagranti. Dessert Island Discs returns from a hiatus on an unchartered dessert island somewhere in the south pacific with two new disco edits in keeping with the labels 11 previous releases. On the "Us" side is Herb Flavor with his new track "the Real Thing". Herb may be a newcomer to the label but he is certainly no stranger to dance floors world wide. On the flip "Them" side Ted Empleton makes a stunning return with "Dingo Jingo" which is every bit as good as his first outing on the label, his amazing edit of "fly Robin fly" titled simply "fly Robin". You know what that means, dance floor destroying disco and deep basement soul…

Following the stunning digital outing, Oliver Dollar’s ‘Another Day Another Dollar’ now has its long-awaited vinyl release, spread across two EPs. This adventurous artistic statement from one of house music’s most vital names shows off a wider breadth and depth of sound than ever before in his Classic Music Company debut.

Using the longer format as a way of expressing different styles, from blues to disco, house to downtempo, the album was in the works for six years. Oliver linked with some of house music’s most essential names, from Ben Westbeech to Matthew K, Daniel Steinberg to Nils Ohrmann via Sqim. The album has now been split over two vinyl EPs, with Part 2 formed of a five-track selection that commits some of the highlights of the album to wax.

Opening the A-side is the gospel grooves abound ‘John’s Church’ followed by the bouncing, funk-laden ‘Not Enough’. On the flip is ‘On & On’ where raw house is complimented by Ben Westbeech’s gravelly vocals. This is followed by a special vinyl edit of the disco tinged beatdown ‘Spinal Tap’ and the laid-back ‘Sampling’ which features Chicago legend Gene Farris. ‘Another Day Another Dollar’ is one of the most complete house albums you could wish to hear, and this vinyl edition showcases the genre defying abilities of Oliver Dollar’s production.

To mark his second artist album on his own Millionhands label in July, Tee Mango teases with a fantastic second EP from it featuring remixes from Hidden Spheres (Lobster Theremin, NTS), Kiwi (Futureboogie, Optimo, Life & Death) and Hubie Davison (Regraded).

The fantastic full length finds the UK artist stretch himself and serve up a dazzling array of soul-drenched, vocal-laced songs featuring his own singing and influenced by the likes of Prince and Bon Iver, alongside awesome gyuest vox from Detroit funk legend and former Funkadelic member Amp Fiddler.

Opening up EP 2, Tee Mango serves up a fizzing and arpeggiated electronic disco track, ‘Woo Hoo’ which will undoubtedly be rocking festival tents this summer. Irishman and Leisure System man Hubie Davison then steps up to the plate with a heart-warming, tripped out and twinkling organic house mix of ‘Down Down Down’, featuring warm oaky melodies and Mango’s fragmented falsettos.

Then comes a dazzling techno-not-techno mix of ‘Woo Hoo’ from Londoner Kiwi, an associate for labels like Correspondent and Optimo Music. This superb version keeps the galloping arpeggiated feel of the original but swaps the broken beat for a straight four to dizzying effect. Following that is acclaimed Lobster Theremin, Rhythm Section and NTS regular Hidden Spheres with a hip house basement re-rub of ‘Down Down Down’ with more of Tee Mango’s fragmented falsetto over a beat Prince would be proud of.

Finally, Tee Mango himself then steps out with the excellent balearic skit ‘Don’t Worry About the Rain’ with deliciously soothing Rhodes and synth whines topped with Mango’s vocals imploring us to ignore the weather.

This is a top package that bristles with brilliant club sounds for a range of different settings and more than whets the whistle for the forthcoming album.

Bell Towers is finally back with a new record for Public Possession. IKEA HACK origi-nally produced for the runway, was too good not to explore further.
Once again perfectly showcasing BT`s abillity to transform emotions into melodies, bridging gaps between various musical influences - the revisited and extendend ver-sions presented here, will leave you with two choices: CHILLOUT & DANCE MIX. In ad-dition the material was handed over to Baba Stiltz, who delivered his very own more minimalistic, extremly hypnotic take on the IKEA HACK.

It was 2010 when Massimiliano Pagliara and Discodromo got together and started working on Costellazione K78. It's finally time to reveal this piece of italo-cosmic beauty landing on Cocktail d'Amore Music. The spaceship starts off and a vocoder announces the destination. In the middle of the track there is an interference...Is that a hole Oh right they are out of it! Going higher, higher...higher through space-time.
B side is taken by a dub version where drums play the main role. Everything is condensing together, it feels like connection is lost, but the bass line comes in and takes control. Destination reached, time to celebrate. Thank you guys for the efxapella, we'll all do good use of it. Greetings from planet Earth!

The Vega Records 5 Pack Vinyl Unreleased Projects have become very sought after pieces amongst vinyl enthusiasts and collectors, thanks to Vinyl Parties and Performances by Louie Vega at Phonica Records in London and Rush Hour Records In Amsterdam (during ADE).

Previously only available as a 5 pack 12" which now commands high prices on discogs and have never available outside of a few select stores worldwide.

In 1982 Atmosfear hit their prime with the release of this underground

classic, ‘Xtra Special’. A gear switch from their jazz-funk origins, this boogie

track featuring the sublime vocals of Beverley Skeete, is a prime example of an

innovative band at their peak.

Mediterranean pop songs screwed with dirty RnB sounds. Disorientating, freudian slip disco edit takes to the clubs; up-tempo, left of field and a down right dub siren infused banger - confused yet? Slow-mo dub melting in the heat of the eternal summer, untether yourself and drift away.

It had taken him almost three years to record, but in 1985 Jake Hottell finally finished his debut solo album, Break The Chains. Inspired by his opposition to fracking, anger at government corruption and a series of profound spiritual experiences, a hundred copies of the album were pressed and given away to radio stations, friends and local business interests in Hottell’s home state of New Mexico.



The album would have remained an obscure footnote in musical history had it not been for the efforts of DJs Danny McLewin and Jeremy Spellacey. Between them, they tracked down Hottell to hear his story, offering the former electronics engineer and Nashville-based music producer the chance to get his music to a whole new audience. Now, some 34 years after the private press edition was produced, Spacetalk is giving Break The Chains a full release for the very first time. Hottell began recording the album in 1982 after reading Your Body’s Many Cries For Water, a best-selling book by Dr Fereydoon Batmanghelidj about the health benefits of clean, purified water. Remembering the poisonous, methane-laden water that came out of his mother’s taps in the 1970s – a by-product of extensive fracking activity in the area around the family farm – Hottell wanted to create a set of tracks that registered his concerns, reflected his recent spiritual experiences (many of which he still finds it difficult to discuss today) and offered a meditative listening experience.



The resultant set is suitably cosmic and emotive, with Hottell cannily fusing gentle drum machine rhythms and dreamy synthesizer motifs – influenced, he says, by a love of the contemporaneous new age output of former jazz label Windham Hill Records – with his own glistening guitar passages, which sit somewhere between the homespun riffs of country music and the classical guitar solos that have long been a sonic staple of Spanish styles such as Flamenco. Many of the tracks have stories attached. “Horizon” features a profound spoken word vocal from local man Darald McCabe – whose homemade purified water helped Hottell recover from serious illness – while “El Rio dos les Delores” was composed after discovering that fracking was taking place on a local Native American reservation. “The Truth Is All I Want”, meanwhile, reflects Hottell’s growing exasperation at the extent of corporate greed and government corruption in the United States.



This new edition of Break The Chains has been painstakingly re-mastered from the original master tapes, while extensive new liner notes shed light on the remarkable musical and personal experiences that inspired Hottell to create an obscure, overlooked classic.

Møzaika returns to Public Possession with another four track EP. For “Drive”, the lead title, he collaborates with Australian Sui Zhen. Together they produced a beautiful, mystic Synth Pop track.
