Sheffield soulbender thatmanmonkz teams up with his good pal Martín Miguel's Better Listen Records for his newest EP.

The record is inspired by several trips to and dope parties in the District of Columbia, home of the quickly rising label.

When two dudes collide in a cosmic paradise, very special things happen. Black Spuma, otherwise known as regular transcendental misfits Phillip Lauer and Fabrizio Mammarella, come correct with a new EP of enchanted grooves for Futureboogie.
Breaking their run of EPs for the International Feel Recordings label, a trio of cuts are lined up on the ‘Crunch Level’ EP.
Title track, ‘Crunch Level’, is a throbbing, pulsating, bit-crunching beast of a track, a full mind and body workout that evokes the darker shades of early acid and new beat. ‘Agguato’ also packs a punch, with drums so big that Stock, Aitken & Waterman would most definitely approve, whilst a waves of hedonistic tones cut through feint melodicas and space invader tropes for a mind melting moment.
Never to end on a whimper, Adamantine goes out with a bang, with an ecstatically buoyant rhythm section and glacial melodies that’ll be transporting you back to the bright neon lights and dry ice of some long forgotten 80’s sweatbox.

After the club hit "Watchin Out", Dirty Channels are back again with another killer EP. This time on Dan Shake's imprint Shake. Three club tools for those who love to combine disco, house and techno.

This is a revisit into this ongoing connection between Berlin and the New Zealand dubby super-stars Fat Freddys Drop.

Daniel W. Best released the first pre FFD release 'Midnight Marauders' on his Best Seven imprint via Sonar Kollektiv almost 20 Years ago and produced all the early live shows of the band in Berlin up to the first Columbia Halle show. This is an homage to this liason.

B side, Let Me Come Into Your Life is a beautiful arrangement of persistent samples, bubbling percussion that cruises similar to the best disco house from the late 90s. Finally, The Lone Dancer works disco strings and vocal loops to amazing effect.

Slam City Jams is back with its sixth release and welcomes a new face to the label: the
mysterious producer, Westcoast Goddess, with his „Soul Out Of Time” EP.
After releases on Shanti Celeste’s Peach Discs (under his Videopath moniker) and Canada
based Heart To Heart Records, this guy caught our attention with his amazing analog take
on house music.
Written and produced between 2002 and 2018, this record contains everything house music
heads could wish for:
Sweet chords and strings, topped with heavy 909s, plus a cheeky little vocal shot on
„Satisfaction & Clarity”. Title track „Soul Out Of Time” sounds like a late night drive with the
top down. Meaning - shiny bells, swinging 80s drums, a funked up bass line and Balearic
breaks. The B-side kicks things off with “Open Heart”. A sample-based house tune, heavy on
the low end and super sweet on the tops, with Rhode pianos and catchy guitar licks. The EP
comes to an end with „In Search Of Darryl P”: A perfect track for the late hours, when those
trancey synths and euphoric strings go on and on... till the first rays of dawn!

Salsoul opens the vaults once more to today's top editors and remixers. This incredible 12" sees Italian maestro Moplen take the reigns. Side A sees Skyy's 'Here's To You' getting some serious boogie love from remix powerhouse Moplen. 2 absolutely essential reworks of this massive garage classic are featured, both vocal & dub mixes for the Salsoul hardcore. Over on side B is Salsoul Orchestra's 'Ooh I love It', again blessed by the Moplen magic, always adding something to the mix in a respectful and knowledgable way, offering up breathtaking contemporary versions of the classics.

The Passport To Paradise gang are in fine form as they serve up four more tripped-out disco edits for the globally-minded savant.
We take sail with the excellent 'Thru Wit' Waitin'', a beefed-up guitar chugger reminiscent of 70s AOR in its steady percussive work and misty sax solo. It's the guitar line that really shines here, lifting the tune into funk transcendence in the bridge.
'Anybody Out There' reaches out to the disco trippers with its northern Italian cosmic kitsch feel: starry-eyed synth pads float above reverb-soaked guitar musings and playful French vocal samples. A particular highlight. On the flip, PTP take things south with a soulful West African shuffler guaranteed to elicit some arresting footwork. The EP leaves us with resounding vibrations from the Far East: 'JP Wave' explores ethereal planes, building up a dense rhythmic fabric punctuated by bass stabs and ornamental chimes. This is a clever bunch of edits for the more discerning selectors and enthusiasts out there- act fast.

Vision is a Swiss synthesizer band from Bern; formed by Olivier Georges aka Jackin' George and Juno Gang member Stephan Moser.

Chillum Trio started out as a collective of like-minded musicians in 2002, however, after releasing an album together (which was supported by the likes of Laurent Garnier) the project slowly become the solo act of founding recording producer, Geza Szekeres.
At that time he discovered West-African music, latin jazz and the universe of soul and funk, these new directions have been shaping his musical evolution ever since.

In 2014 he turned out as one of the winners of Gilles Peterson's Havana Cultura remix contest that gave him the opportunity to travel to Havana and record music with the creme of the Cuban jazz scene.
One of his songs recorded in this session got released on Brownswood Recordings compilations Havana Cultura Mix and Havana Cultura Anthology.

For the fifth release of Selva Discos, the label returns with another volume of the Brasingles series. It's another tried-and-tested dancefloor burner: Edson Conceição's "Filhos de Gandhi", a homage to the "Carnaval da Bahia", on its beatless original version and the drumtastic Mike Burns edit on the flip, featured on Selvagem's Boiler Room set.

This song is originally featured on Edson's album "Quem Tem Fé Não Sai" from 1977, which has been a very sought-after LP for the past 4 years, and its almost spoken-word nature tells the legend about the Filhos de Gandhy carnival group, one of the most traditional of Salvador (the capital of Bahia state), while an entrancing Afoxé vocal chant takes over the chorus.

A few years ago, Austrian DJ and digger Mike Burns did his own version of it, taking "Filhos de Gandhi" to a different level, adding to the original storytelling the power of drums, and it can take dancefloors to different levels as well with its uptempo and contagious rhythms, turning any party in a Carnival party.

"Filhos de Gandhi" marks the third volume of the BRASINGLES series, the Selva Discos' series dedicated to releasing loud 12" singles with the original song on the A side and a rework on the B side, to please both the DJ and the listener – the one that brought the Wolf Müller edit of Barbatuques' Baianá on vol. 2.

HOMAGE goes from "out here" to "really out here" with their sixth release from Mr. Sunshine, a brand new duo from London artists Danvers and Luke Campion. Just like sunshine, this combo pack of techy rollers and UK bass really lights up the dance floor. Starting strong with "U Don't Know Me," Mr. Sunshine aim straight for the dome with a heaving house bomb that might blow up your summer. A cut deeper than the rest, "My Knife" is a slice of UK bass with speaker rattling capability for peaking crowds. Rounding out the project is "God Chord" a breaks influenced bass track equipped with cheeky vocals and a stuttering acid line. DJ Rocca returns to Roam Recordings with two new originals backed by an all star set of remixers. The title track Slide to Unlock is a pretty tune that builds a swirling arpeggio under a beautiful electronic melody. In contrast, Uros is a huge gritty track with attitude.
Up first on remix support is the legendary I:Cube who takes Uros into hypnotic ethereal territory in a perfectly woven masterpiece. Rounding out the EP is another legend, The Emperor Machine, who twists Slide to Unlock into a beautiful electronic disco version full of bounce and analog goodness.

All four tracks combine into a diverse yet cohesive EP of stunning dance music electronics.

"Promised Land" is a hands down Acid House anthem. Fact.

Released in 1988 on Chicago's DJ International label it became one of the first crossover "hits" of House music.

Transcending electronic music's boundaries it entered the worlds minds & ears with it's positive lyrics & Chicago House rhythms.

This 2014 reissue brings together 4 definitive remastered original mixes of this all time essential classic.

Michael David is a musician from LA California best known as one half of Classixx. The sunshine drps off these three tracks. Melona is a blissed out summer jam with 80's guitar chords and sweet keyboard notes. One wish is a slower dubby groove while Two Voices chills out further for a real sunset melt. Chris Massey adds some weight to Melona giving ia slight nod to Shaker songs. Lovely ep all round

Turkish mystery man Ali Kuru is fast becoming one of our go-to artists. Since joining the label in early 2016, he's released two superb EPs, with a debut album of evocative musical blends - think dub, disco, downtempo grooves, humid exotica, and authentic middle eastern instrumentation - dropping in July.

Ahead of the album release, we have decided to hand over the parts to a clutch of Kuru's tracks to a hand picked team of remixers. Predictably, all have delivered, serving up versions that retain the essence of Kuru's atmospheric productions, whilst taking the tracks in a variety of beguiling new directions.

First to feature are cosmic disco pioneer Daniele Baldelli and production partner Dario Piana, fresh from dropping an inspired EP of their own on Leng. Their version of 'Ashoka' successfully wraps feverish Persian instrumentation and vintage synthesizer chords around a rock-solid rhythm track and bold electronic bassline. The result is not so much 'Afro-cosmic', as 'Arabic-cosmic'.

Next up is long time friend of the label Craig Bratley, whose hypnotic, chugging interpretation of 'Zurna' - all crispy snares, dubbed-out electronic motifs, exotic vocals and snaking lead lines - recalls the finest moments on his essential Magic Feet label.

On the flip, you'll find a pair of revisions from artists who made their name on Multi Culti, a label specializing in the kind of global dancefloor fusions that are near impossible to pigeonhole.

First up is Nicola Cruz, who successfully transforms 'Return To Paradise' via an intoxicating blend of loose cumbia rhythms, dub bass, lilting guitar lines and deep space effects. If Ali Kuru met Adrian Sherwood in Columbia for a jam session, it would probably sound a little like Cruz's fabulous rework.

Peter Power travels further towards the atmospheric depths on his version of 'Lost Bedouin'. More horizontal and clandestine in town, the producer makes great use of Kuru's haunting flute lines and evocative field recordings. The resultant remix is gentle in tone and tempo, but also ethereal in its' druggy, early morning outlook. Like the other three tracks, it's a very fine remix.

Fast emerging artist Kincaid has unveiled a new collaborative record with the respected British synth-pop act Blancmange. Set for release on the 22nd March, 'Big Fat Head' will land on Moscoman's famed Disco Halal imprint. Clad with percussive textures, the release marks a father and son team-up with Kincaid (Joe Arthur) and father, Neil Arthur, via the Blancmange project. Accompanied by a remix from Moscoman and Trikk under the Nucat moniker, 'Big Fat Head' is turned into a chugging synth-wave melody. The record marks the first original production from the pair, who have previously collaborated on a string of remixes for Blancmange's 'What's The Time', 'Distant Storm' and 'Not A Priority' - taken from the acclaimed albums 'Wanderlust' and 'Unfurnished Rooms'. Based in Berlin, but firmly rooted in the diverse and forward-facing musical scene of Tel Aviv, Moscoman's Disco Halal label hails from beneath the minarets of the Holy Land. The imprint exists to present a tightly-knit and growing community of musicians and producers, each transmitting their unique musical identity, yet each united by a unique sensibility, as well as a harmonious balance of rhythm and experimentation. Encompassing elements of downtempo, new-wave and alternative pop, stitched together with a leftfield dancefloor throb, Disco Halal's back-catalogue, filled with efforts from the likes of Simple Symmetry,The Organism and Moscoman himself, has seen the imprint rapidly emerging from the once-overlooked nightlife and club scene of Tel Aviv into the worldwide spectrum

A leading light of contemporary disco and a key resident for the nightlife phenomenon's internationally renowned parties, Tino Piontek aka Purple Disco Machine has distilled his acclaimed headline DJ sets into two mixes, 'Purple Disco Day' and 'Purple Disco Night'.

Who said that da new Long player must consist by Intros, Outros and Off-Tracks – that all lies in the eye of the beholder and depends on his perspective. It must be honest and has to odd pictures in the heads. DOMPE succeeded that in a perfect way. At the beginning of May, he will release his latest album named HIPPIE CRACK on his own Label JACKRUIT RECORDINGS.

HIPPIE CRACK – music is our drug – it makes us happy and gives us the chance to flee from the gray and ordinary daily routine. These 12 Tracks are highly addictively. Close your eyes, dance and time can be forgotten. Back to the roots – back to good old house music tunes, simple but not easy produced. The DOMPE Style has not to be described on more details; Again, and again full of different facets. These tracks are as always full of summer vibes und carried by lots of samples with plenty of old-school-sounds.

All tracks from the Album tell a story, can be listen to at home or also in the club. It starts with love and full of harmony, before it changes the chill mood the clubbing sounds. All in all, the complete package is very atmospheric. Like a good gig the sounds it goes harder step by step and at its best it comes to an end.

From the front till the back a project with a high intention – one of DOMPES heart wishes was a cover designed by BRINGMANN & KOPETZKI. The result is a perfect comic version of DOMPE and that's a banger. So, HIPPIE CRACK isn't only a musically hot shit, but also a visual highlight.

After Prins Thomas’ Ambitions album (released in April) follows a series of 12”s with remixes from the album! On this first release Prins Thomas gets remix treatment from Lauer on the album’s vocal track Feel The Love. 

The track is based around a sample of the track "Feel A Love" by one of the biggest pop-stars in Norway in the 70s and 80s, the late Alex (Naumik). The 12” contains a Prins Thomas Diskomix, album version and two remixes from Lauer.
