The first of two remix discs of Ivano's excellent LP. Up first are Bristol residents 'Outboxx' who bring a slick electro vibe to '113'; Chilled and melodic with a classic sounding b-line, this is one of the best remixes to feature on the label to date. Flip for two remixes by Roger Gerressen, a member of the ESHU collective along with Mr Tetelepta. His '117' remix is a slick house affair again with the b-line very much in the fore. His take on '119' is a much deeper affair, dubbed in it's outlook with the melancholic piano stabs of the original a main feature.

Semesters returns with the III in the series. Absolute killers here as to be expected, and judging by Qu's recent output (YYGrec etc) this is sure to fly out of the door extremely quickly. Please pre-order to avoid disappointment!

Ali's new highly anticipated single 'Another' has been dubbed one of the most requested tracks of the summer from label boss Damian Lazarus. Co-produced with Steve Dub 'Another' pumps a four to the floor beat with glitchy percussion and distinctive psychedelic vocals. Techno soul at its best.

The single comes with remixes from Tuff City Kids (aka Gerd Janson & Phillip Laur) and the inimitable Felix Da Housecat. Tuff City Kids channel Reese, and drive it deeper, whilst Felix Da Housecat smooth's things out and turns the emotion dial to 11.

Ali is busy putting the finishing touches to next year's album. 'Another' is a sign of big things to come.

The mystical fairy tale of lord Chris De Slurgh of the highest bavarian highlands ends here. DJ W!LD's 'Sweet & Spicy EP' is the 10th release on the Parisian's own imprint 'The W Label' and see's W!LD continue the fine form that has seen him reach the #8 spot in Resident Advisor's 'Most Charted Artists of
2012'. W!LD's unique style of stripped-to-the-bone crunching beats, probing basslines and almost impossibly long, captivating breakdowns have seen him grace labels including Cabin Fever/Rekids (who released his album 'D!RTY'), One Records, Act Natural, Snork Enterprises, Robsoul and Catwash amongst many others in the past 12 months. The 'Sweet & Spicy EP' continues in the same vein all carefully road-tested by W!LD, the focus is on the dancefloor with influences From funk to acid all underpinned by those strong relentless grooves. A stalwart of the tech and deep house scene, DJ W!LD's career path began in the clubs of Paris in 1996. Working with Chris Carrier from 2005 under the name of Catwash (which also spawned the label) he became well known in the French house and techno scene. By 2009 he was touring the world, represented by the legendary Cocoon agency and playing their worldwide events, as well as landing a residency he retains for Circo Loco at DC-10 in Ibiza and becoming a regular feature on their international tours. The W Label launched in 2011 and was home to W!LD's critically acclaimed
Palace' album and the club destroying singles it contained. The label is a place for W!LD's own productions, alongside that of his friends, allowing them reflect on experiences and musical influences. The label motto is 'we have W!LD records'and outings by Kerri Chandler, Art Department, Sis, Chris Carrier, Radio Slave, Phil Weeks and W!LD certainly back that up!

Since his first single 'Masquerade' dropped on vinyl just over a year ago, Forrest's profile has continued to rise, with releases on Noir Music and Mobilee and forthcoming on Visionquest.

This latest release EP, his debut for Midnight Vision, demonstrates Forrest's versatile sound. The lead track 'Shiny Suit Man' blends hypnotic, cheeky vocals with dusty drums to create a roller, which sounds great both in the headphones and on the dancefloor.

My Factory continues on the deep tip mixes with vocal samples and modulating synth lines creating a smokey atmosphere. A slinky bassline drives the track along and will get any floor moving.

Beverly Hills teases us with an uncomplicated arrangement of more slick house with sustained strings providing the tension and a great use of a female vocal sample.

New kids on the block Bodhi bring a garage swing to their remix of Shiny Suit Man kicks. Heavy syncopated 808's paired with shuffling synths bring a new flavour to the EP.

1500 bodies writhing to a relentless beat; don't be surprised if the soundtrack to that moment is 'The Black Lodge' over the coming months. This 13-minute beast rampages along; creaking, cracking and crunching at every possible opportunity. Indefinable sounds emerge from afar, only to disappear into the vortex and then reappear throughout to dramatic effect. A master class in automation, the elements echo, pan and filtrate, with only the finest sound systems able to truly do the production justice.

Philadelphia native Hollis P Monroe is a man who has been slowly
and steadily building a respectable catalogue of music since his
debut on Canadian label Stickman in 1997. Appearances on Josh
Wink's Ovum and the legendary West End label have all helped
establish Hollis as a talented writer, producer, vocalist and DJ
having recently been drafted in for collaborations with the likes
of KiNK, Trickski and Rampa. Here we find him producing under his
new moniker The Black 80s in collaboration with Frank Julien, and
following hot on the heels of a killer release for Compost Black
Label.
For their Freerange debut The Black 80s have created an expansive
slice of deep, electronic house on Move On. The expertly crafted
minimal production really highlights the warmth of the song and
creates space for the vocal to shine. Tried and tested by Jimpster
from South Africa to Berlin, this is a standout track with that
perfect balance of raw simplicity for the dancefloor and depth for
longevity.
On the Overnight Mix of Move On things tread in a more
experimental, leftfield direction with filtering breaks and layers
of dust and noise creating an abstract and edgy backing,
complimenting the sweetness of the vocal perfectly.
Finally, we have Kollektiv Turmstrasse providing their own
inimitable spin on their remix, fattening up the beats and adding
more drive which builds perfectly to the breakdown where we're
introduced to an echoing bassline and finally, the full vocal.

Damian Lazarus, the cape-wearing Crosstown Rebels spearhead infamous his idiosyncratic nature embarks on a daring new project with Day Zero. On 20th - 21stDecember 2012 he will stage a festival in sun-soaked Playa del Carmen, Mexico that will celebrate the momentous end of this world cycle, as decreed by the ancient Mayan civilisation.

To commemorate this enigmatic event he asked thirteen artists to create a new track fora special Day Zero music album. His peers and comrades stepped up to the challengewith Rebel's artist past, present and future contributing to this momentous collectionmixed together by Damian Lazarus.

The first of a number of various artists eps from the DBA camp.

For the sixth instalment of their highly collectable Black Ops series, the Sleazy Beats chaps welcome Andy Hart back to the fold.
While Andy is certainly not new to the production game - the man has an impressive string of tracks on esteemed labels like Quintessential, Foto, Box Aus Holz and his own Melbourne Deepcast imprint under his belt - The Love Technology EP is in fact his first solo outing on wax !

He couldn't have delivered a better debut if he tried.

Title track Love Technology is a moody basement chugger that fuses the gentle and the raw effortlessly. Building on a basic groove with clever funk samples and sharp claps, Hart keeps subtly adding new elements and layers to proceedings. Intricate simplicity never sounded so good !

On the B Side there's Jasmine, a warm slice of deep house pie with sweet synth lines, classic piano melodies and the kind of rolling drums that made Hart & Graef's collabs so outstanding. Sharing the side is Aquarius. Take one exceedingly infectious groove from an underground disco classic, add subtle percussion, some kick ass drums, Andy's masterful arrangement and the result is a classy Summer anthem that may just become one of the biggest party starters of 2014.

Back with more dance floor weapons, One Records bring you Alex Arnout and 'One Nation' featuring the legendary Tyree Cooper. Killer remixes come courtesy of Cocoon and Cadenza favourite Argy and Dame Music's Bloody Mary.

Dogmatik boss Alex Arnout has been a firm staple in the One Records crew since the huge hit 'Vanishing Point' was released on the label back in 2011. For this next venture on One he offers a true slice of Chicago house featuring the Midwest favourite Tyree Cooper. An absolute hero for Alex and label heads Subb-an and Adam Shelton since they first heard his seminal tracks including 'Turn Up The Bass' and 'Move Your Body', they all jumped at the chance of having him involved in the release. With a punching beat and deep chords holding the rhythm, melodic keys soon creep into the foreground, complimented perfectly by Cooper's sensational voice.

Originally from Greece, first class DJ and producer Argy takes the reins for the first remix, offering a peak time house bomb like only he can. A firm favourite in the One Records camp yet making her first appearance on the label, Bloody Mary twists 'One Nation' with her sultry edge. Dark and hypnotic, she uses her own voice with added synths and a deep dose of acid.

With a string of successful releases and a hectic touring schedule already in place, Alex is soon to launch his new record label Convert alongside his existing Dogmatik imprint. Watch out for the first release featuring his new vocalist Tempo O'Neill called 'Alex Arnout Presents Project 16'.

Somehow No 19 are about to do it again - the label run by Jonny White is about to unleash a truly monstrous new EP that will not only soundtrack dancefloors for months to come, but fully announces the arrival of a talent who has been bubbling under for a while now in the form of UK producer Eric Volta. Having been road tested in almost every Art Department set since January, No 19 are now ready to unleash drop their most powerful secret weapon into the wider world, and it's sure to be one of the biggest of the year.

This will be Eric's first solo outing for the label after contributions in the past, but no-one quite saw these standout tracks coming despite him also releasing well received sounds on Visionquest, 1trax & Dirty Bird. Now based in Berlin, Volta maintains his own unique sonic signature that is part house, part techno and always comes with a healthy dose of off kilter invention.

The first of the two remarkable tracks he serves up is the beautifully wide-screen synth vista of 'Love Your Illusion'. Warm but industrial kick drums and taught bass set the tone as searching synths then spray ominous across the whole face of the track. After building and teasing for a while, the synths go into melt down, decaying into acid gurgles and bubbles as the beats below grow that bit more driven. It's an epic and dramatic track that speaks of a lonely future with plenty of raw and analogue production élan and is just the sort of fresh ad refreshing new direction that will make dancefloors exceedingly happy.

The equally impressive 'Masters of Puppets' is a little less devastatingly cinematic, instead Volta crafts a much more organic and human groove that is deep and shuffling, imbued with spoken word musings and subtle ad libs that help make it all the more inviting. The production is still exceptionally proud - every perfectly crafted element jumps out of the speakers and grabs your attention with the overall effect one of subdued house funk.

These are two quite different but equally excellent tracks that have your head as well as your heel in overdrive when you are lost inside them. They are so proudly produced they speak wonders of the very real new talent the dance world has in Eric Volta.

Jamie Jones launched the Hot Creations label back in 2010 with 'Ruckus'. Now Jamie makes his long awaited return to Hot Creations with 'Planets, Spaceships', a four-track EP set for vinyl release on 18th November 2013.

These tracks have been Jamie's secret battle weapons all summer. Tapping into a dark sider but with that distinctive Jamie Jones melody and drive that are a signature feature of his DJ sets. Title track 'Planets, Spaceships' features vocalist Daniela Caldellas from Digitaria, who has an album planned for Hot Creations in the new year, whilst 'Cookie Monster', 'Starp Trek' and 'Stick' take things even deeper with vocal snatches and crisp claps.

Highlighting his avant-garde style and showcasing exactly why he is recognised as one of the leading figures in the rebirth of house music, 'Planets, Spaceships' further cements Jamie's place in the dance music hall of fame.

The Truth (feat Marshall Jefferson)', one of the standout tracks from Matt Tolfrey's debut LP, 'Word of Mouth', sees a full single release with additional remixes from Gerd's Geeeman project and John Charnis.

Leftroom boss, Tolfrey, dropped his 'Word of Mouth' LP late in 2012 and the project served as an insight into the influences and passions of the increasingly well-travelled DJ/Producer. 'The Truth' was a particular highlight for both listener and producer alike as it featured the vocals of none other than the 'godfather of house', Marshal Jefferson.

Tolfrey's original version opens the package with a strident simplicity. Bare bones house with classic influences distilled in to a contemporary slice of 4:4 heaven, 'The Truth' ends up sounding distinctly timeless. L.A. Based producer Jon Charnish, an artist with increasing clout following work for Innervisions and No.19, turns in a moody late-night interpretation that drops Jefferson's vocal input in favour of steadily building melodies.

4Lux boss and Dutch house-master, Gerd, dons his Geeeman for two versions which take on a rough-edged, brutalist house sensibility. Saturated Juno licks and 909 stomp form the backbone of both mixes but the 'Deep Vox Voyage' showcases rich chords and Marshal Jefferson while his 'Rough Mix' takes things even grittier.

The mighty Hot Creations welcome back firm label favourite Miguel Campbell with 'Beams of Light ' already supported on Radio 1 by Pete Tong, this sensational slice of modern disco featured on his highly successful debut album 'Back In Flight School' released on the label last year. A stellar selection of remixes come courtesy of Alexis Raphael and Crooked Man aka DJ Parrott
Alongside the evocative sun soaked original version of 'Beams of Light' is Alexis Raphael's infectious digital-disco take on it. A firm dance-floor favourite from Alexis who has had recent releases on Culprit, Nurvous and Jackathon.
On the flip and the legendary DJ Parrot provides a hallucinatory transcendental Crooked Man Remix that is simply outstanding and is set to soundtrack warm summer evenings and sunrises. From his formative production as Sweet Exorcist through his work with All Seeing I, to his latest Crooked Man incarnation, Parrot once more rubberstamps his outstanding production techniques with this timeless remix.

Lee Curtiss, Ryan Crosson & Cesar Merveille form the Sweatshop Boys and this May they drop their second EP 'Wanna Be More' on Leftroom with remixes from Tom Demac and Ryan Crosson himself.

Sweatshop Boys return to the Leftroom family following their 'Wide World' EP released back in June 2013. Collectively, the three artists stack up an impressive back catalogue with tracks spanning labels such as Wolf + Lamb, Visionquest, Cadenza, Get Physical and Culprit.

The opening track 'Wanna Be More' leads with a dancing bass line alongside sub-led low-end tones and a stripped back rhythm, all of which gets seamlessly laced over broken female intonations and whirring atmospherics to deliver a subtle yet infectious groove.

On remix duty Welsh lad Tom Demac, whose recently been tipped by no less than Thom Yorke of Radiohead, breaks into the raw side of things utilising distorted harmonies that build towards a warm breakdown in earthy percussion and rumbling bass lines.

For the final offering on the EP Ryan Crosson re-imagines his original and twists it into a deep down-tempo house cut, chopping up the female murmurings and working them around shuffling drum patterns and a quaking bass line.

Please note Ryan's remix will be released on vinyl only.

When WPH label boss Red D first heard 'Tief Dekoletiert' it was instant love. Slightly off the normal WPH track (is there such a track) this is pure dancefloor madness for any DJ playing house, minimal, techno or any other kind of nonsensical sub-genre name... A killer melody and a big breakdown always work when done right, and Ante Perry surely got it right with this one!
Chatting about this one with Hotflush stalwart and fellow Belgian Locked Groove, it was soon agreed that both Locked Groove and Red D would be on remix duties for this one. Locked Groove turned the original melody into a monster of a big room track, with soaring strings and acidic bass lines taking things very much into Scuba territory - very much like the remix name suggests. Red D couldn't beat the melodic approach of this remix, so he came up with a broken beat tool that uses part of the original track to full breakdown effect. Only on vinyl, only on WPH, another episode in the much-revered coloured series. We're almost out of colours by the way...

Marko Fürstenberg is a well known dub techno act, who has been releasing his first album 'Gesamtlaufzeit' at Thinner nearly 10 years ago. Its a true classic of the dub techno genre but it was never released on vinyl. Thats why we will do a re-release with fresh edits and a new mastering. There will be also a remix package with nice reworks of Reference, Pattern Repeat, Luke + Rita Hess and Rhauder. "Gesamtlaufzeit was produced between March and September 2003 - every song in a different environment where Marko resided this year (between his stay in Canada, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and his residence Thüringen/Germany). A diary, converted to music with every location producing new impressions and creating diverse sample ressources. Marko is the kind of person searching for natural sounds, between campfires crackles, and
rolling obstacles to give his tracks a certain identifying warmth. One can listen to the process of Fürstenbergs muscial maturity, that is obvious by the versatility and detailed harmonic moods on this album. The tracks circle around Dubhouse in
the broader sense - with rambling pads and endless modulated ambient spheres, tight Groove monsters are created, underlayed with compressed bassdrums whenever appropriate. Every track contains a certain grade of emotion - relating the dedications of the tracknames, that reflect on prevailing local circumstances.

After one of the coldest winters on record in the UK, boe provides a welcome respite from haunting memories of the past freezing months with a slice of warmth, soul and deepness from the label's first Italian signing, Gaetano Battista. With a slew of releases under other aliases, the first vinyl record for Gaetano under his birth name comprises of 3 tracks of measured, mature and emotional house music that defies any debut presumptions.

Hogging the A side is the playful and aptronymically named 'Deep Innit', which rolls along its seven and a half minute journey through episodes of shimmering starlight keys, fizzing hi hats and a bumping and persistent four to the floor kick and bassline. The solid loop-based groove is offset by the natural touches delivered by Gaetano's key work and makes for a cut that can drive through the dance floor as well as proffer ethereal moments for those in tune with the harmonious intricacies.

On the flip 'Loose Piano', like 'Deep Innit' lives well up to its name, delivering some bright keys and chords bouncing along to a driving bottom end as searing pads swoop in an out of the stereo field. Tales of Brian Harden's past spring to mind; slightly distorted pumping kick drums, throaty bass, snapping claps and scorching hats providing a sound base for twinkling touches on the old ivories.

Rounding off the EP with a vinyl only exclusive track is 'Work Up', which should delight fans of DiY records with a fuzzy and warm UK house sound. Its fat side chained bass pumps to crisp and crunchy percussion on the tops and some frequency bubbling chords cutting through the mix round off an EP engineered with the head and feet in mind.

Stephan`s latest Something Vinyl Series includes the mighty deep jacking STL business as well as experimental home listening adventures under his Synthonic Matter project.

Tel Aviv's Deep'a & Biri and Iran-born producer Aril Brikha will unite on a forthcoming 12 on Deep's & Biri's Black Crow label, from which proceeds will be donated to a Israel/Palestine peace projects organization. The release was inspired by Brikha's first visit to Israel to play at the Black Crow party in Tel Aviv, after years of turning down gig offers in the country in what Brikha describes as his own 'quiet protest' in solidarity with Palestine. Aril Brikha: 'I thought I would have trouble getting in, and while I'm there, because I'm born in Iran. But after a few days there and coming back to my 'homeland' Sweden, I realized that I felt more at home in Israel than in Sweden...which was a very strange feeling. The same weekend of my gig missiles came towards Tel Aviv so of course it was not an ordinary evening we got at the club that night. I was really happy to see the people that still made it out - it was a very special night". With their shared love for the deeper sounds of Detroit techno (Derrick May's Transmat label, on which Brikha released the timeless 'Groove La Chord' and Deep'a & Biri have a released a track last year, remains a key link between their respective approaches to music), Brikha's collaboration with Deep'a & Biri on the second Black Crow EP was the logical next step to follow the duo's 2013 debut LP 'Emotions Visions Changes' on DJ Hell's International DJ Gigolos. Jorge Velez's take on the modern stock exchange through the eyes of a Bhopal seamstres ca. 1986 makes -as you can imagine- for a mix of elation and defeatism. Or as some might say, a Tango of Paradoxes. Jorge Velez shot onto the scene in 2012 with some well-received EPs on Rush Hour. He followed them up with more exciting material on MMT Tapes and L.I.E.S. and is now next up on Dutch label Creme Organization with five more tracks of idiosyncratic sounds. American Professor Genius is the man behind the alias, and in fact under various guises (Bridge & Tunnel Kids, Duermo) he has been making music for over seven years. Up first, 'Aventuras' is a lumpy mid tempo house jam riddled with tape drifting melodies and rough sounding drums. 'Medusa' is a high tempo, whacked out ghetto rhythm with creepy synth lines crawling over its face and 'Chant D'Ombres' is another weird concoction of dusty hi hats, whirring synths and globular melodic blobs. Punchy drums prop the whole thing up as analogue machines pull and stretch both you and themselves in all sorts of directions. 'Airplanes' is another fractured arrangement of blurting synths, off balance drums and soulful synths that is both experimental and super emotional at the same time. Last track 'Magic 8-Ball' is about jarring chord loops, wooden drums and gurgling mildly acid basslines. Like every track here it is an inventive, curiously odd and hugely original bit of music that really does sound like little else.
