PROGNOSE Records is back with a second sizzling release, this time in the form of a four track various artists release featuring Mateo Dufour, Polar (NL), Silat Beksi and Matpri.

Mateo Dufour kicks off with the infectiously skippy drums of Puey. It's a spaced out house cut with nice silky synths and breezy grooves.

Polar (NL) then picks up the pace with the vibe-fuelled Yeah, a track with heady and balmy synths and a touch of 90s tech to its kinetic drum programming. The sound design is strictly future though.

Silat Beksi's In The Shadows rolls on smooth drum loops with cosmic pads and thinking melodies all making for a nice future soul sound and last of all Matpri's Sviterok gets all twitchy, with sci-fi motifs, alien life forms and another rich house groove. This is high class and stylish dancing music from all involved.

Through the course of four tracks, Dabbs incorporates ravey piano chords, soulful vocals and bubbly melodies into fun, strutting rhythms. Rose's signature pitched-up syrup-smooth vocals accompany 'Blow My Mind''s sensual deep house beat, making it at once suited for sunset cruising and breaking out into a serious groove.

Rising Aussie producer Mincy joins the Time Is Now family, becoming only the second non UK based artist to release on the UKG focussed Bristol based Shall Not Fade sub-label. The Mind Boggles EP is 4 broken beat, techy, bass driven warpers, guaranteed to do damage on the dancefloor.

The Dutch duo formed by Robin Koek and Nick Lapien return to Semantica with a brand new Mini LP. 'Floodplain' explores new registers in between techno and electronica, showcasing a perfect balance on physical aspects of the music; an intricate sound design and the experimentation.

Picking up where Triform left off, the prodigiously talented Matthias turns in one of his most impressive works to date with a four track EP showcasing the breadth of his sound.

The mercurial Placid is one of his most original works. An intricate journey that builds to the orchestral backdrop being shattered by a bold acidic lead.

While the title track is a headier affair, Liturgic Acid Year is aimed squarely at the dancefloor; a rolling acid groove awash with lush pads punctuated by jittery percussive fills.

On the B side, the otherworldly Enon takes things into darker territory; with sophisticated arps materializing over a metronomic bassline.

Finally, the unique Omega Doom makes up the EP. A study in contrast, it sees 90’s stabs and frenetic toms juxtaposed against apocalyptic strings - giving the track a distinct prog sensibility.

Returning to Phantasy for a triumphant fourth single, ahead of a debut album to be released later in 2023, Josh Caffe dons ‘Meine Lederjeans’ for a gloriously tight squeeze of electro-funk, accompanied by an unapologetically gritty, stroboscopic remix from Caffe’s frequent collaborators, Paranoid London.

Dialing the tempo down from the frenetic club play of previous releases ‘According To Jacqueline’ and ‘Do You Want To Take Me Home?’, ‘Meine Lederjeans’ finds the British-Ugandan DJ and performer melting into a hedonistic slow jam of Prince-indebted grooves driven by drum machines oozing Chicago spirit with additional playing from Alex White of cult groups Fat White Family and Saint Leonard. Celebrating and subverting queer tropes in double measures, ‘Meine Lederjeans’ is an exquisite blend of soul and sexuality.

Paranoid London, the duo of Gerardo Delgagdo and Quinn Whalley (Caffe’s principal studio partner, and producer of ‘Meine Lederjeans’) deliver a characteristically merciless remix of Caffe’s original, looping their vocalist into an acid-soaked stupor. Throbbing, insistent, maximal yet minimal, this is PL in particularly raw form.

Otik drops the four-track ‘Xoul Trap EP’ on Will Saul’s Aus Music this May.
Otik, aka Ashley Thomas, has been steadily making himself known as one of the finest exponents of leftfield UK club music since his debut in 2013 through a string of heavy releases on the likes of Midland’s
Intergraded, Martyn’s 3024, and his own Solar Body imprint. Arriving now on Aus Music, the London-based DJ/producer brings a set of atmospheric, breakbeat-laden techno tracks for his first appearance on the label.
‘Xoul Trap’ kicks off the A-side with moody vocal chops, emotive pads, and thunderous kicks combining to form a hair-raising late-night affair. Following is the shuffling ‘Temptress’, which sees sharp and detailed percussion fuse with dusty chords and speaker-rattling subs.
On the flip, ‘Inertia’ begins with a pumping 4/4 pattern as washed-out synths reverberate alongside shining plucks and warm, inviting low end. ‘Unorthodox’ sees shimmering leads swirl around choral samples and UK Funky-tinged drum hits, rounding out yet another standout record from both Otik and Aus Music.

Ahead of an interestingly cheeky release schedule in 2023 from Seven Davis Jr., collaborators and fellow associates on Secret Angels Records, we present to you “savedbythebell”.

Described as a vibey intermission project. Music you might hear on an elevator ride inside a massive mothership that’s traveling through multiple dimensions. Sounds from an 80s themed alternate timeline. There are no rules here. There are no one set descriptions and multiple meanings abound. Although this be more of an instrumental adventure with only one song (chorus and verses etc). Its all interdimensional vibes.

Featuring 5 fresh tracks produced within in the last 2 years by Sev. (who previously had the habit of releasing mixtures of older tracks/reworked
demos along with new songs).

And with all releases from Seven Davis Jr., this one picks up where the previous ended. Sev’s 2021 song based album “I See The Future” left us with an unpredictable track titled “New Life Who Dis”. This ep introduces us to forthcoming new sounds from that new life.

Not just for dance floors, also for “chillen” or lounging on a nice day, or disassociating in the depths of a wormhole, or at an after hours where everyone’s faces are on fire and no one ever sleeps!

Our 5th release see's Italian artist Vito Fattore join us with a really classy EP with 4 cool original tracks that have a real old school deep house vibe to them!

Firing up the next one on 35 Grad Records is “Durch Die Nacht”-co-founder Dirk Sid Eno from Cologne. His four track EP entitled “Bonfire EP” will land on digital and vinyl on 25th September, displaying the depths of Dirk’s extensive studio potential and polished sound, a superbly chosen artist to fit the Hanover based label, imaginative creations across the board here featuring remixes from dOP, and Andreas Henneberg.

Opening track “Feisty When I’m Mad” is an accomplished and tantalising experience for the senses, this late summer anthem nails the energy for this time of the year. This journey is as melancholic as euphoric, heavily led by the sounds of a Tuba, as rippling pads and synths meld with this sound. As expected the eclectic sounds of long-time producer dOP create an emphatic remix, whilst maintaining the initial theme of the Tuba the French trio breathe a mysterious life into the track, sitting with a more minimalistic structure.

On the B-side “Mettled Not Settled” gently progresses throughout, driven by the sounds of various metals recorded by the German producer, used to animate the track somewhat, creating this unique and vigorous energy. Andreas Henneberg flips the original on its head with a more direct and dance floor driven impact, with a hint of dub.

Dirk Sid Eno is a producer that relishes the opportunity to propel original and innovative sounds, always embedding the ethos of the label in the energy of his work.

Miami based artist Lulla is delivering 4 tracks for the OCTO004.

Mr. Stefanik concludes his 'days of old' ep series on KANN with this third and final part. As highly valued friend and artist from the labels neighborhood he locks his diverse journey to its own past with another awesome track collection. As part 'one' and 'two' already certified, KANN15 teases out Daniel Stefaniks many-faced shining talents in techno and housemusic.

Sex tapes from Mars' third release comes in the form of 4 joyous hits of euphoria courtesy of Australian party-starter, Aldonna.

Angel Numbers excitedly bounces and bounds through its tracklist and the numerous blissed-out grooves within it. The EP kicks off with the psychedelic, poem-sampling 'Divine Time' before switching to the driving rhythms and glistening synths of 'Ikigai' (featuring Sam Alfred).

On the B-side, Aldonna dedicates the airy keys and phasing delays of 'Ella' to a friend who encouraged her to keep on dreaming. Finally, Cromby takes 'Divine Time' and reduces it down to its raw elements for clubland functionality whilst still retaining the threads of the originals buoyant tonality.

A love letter to her friends and her self, this is trance music at its most hopeful.

ANOTR returns to No Art Red with Expo Series 1 - a 2 x red and white splatter vinyl packed with some of their most played, unreleased club weapons. Teaming up with Glasgow artist David Lain Brown, who created a beautiful piece of art for the vinyl sleeve, the gatefold doubles up as a physical work of art that would look the part on full display in any home.

PROXY transmits two more tunes by Boom Generation. Sleepwalkin’ and Deep Organic, originally released in 1993 on the album Noisy, Chill, Fresh & Young, have been carefully configured for your listening pleasure. Rome based label Free Voyage returns for its fourth release, delivering another fresh sounding EP. This time joining the label is London based artist Bowyer, known for his imprint “Rube Goldberg Series”. On the A1 you will find “Precarious Arrangement”, an effective housey dance floor number, more typical of Bowyers usual productions, but from here on out the EP begins to stray into more unusual territory. For the A2 Bowyer teams up with his pal Jimi Lattice for “Friends of Gravity”, A cheery electro beat with playful video game effects. Continuing onto the B side “A Clown in Frown Town” takes influence from the 80’s with melodic synths and vocoder vocals, followed by “Feel” which offers a more sci-fi and mysterious sound. Closing out the EP “Creation Station” is a downtempo track taking things a bit slower with some fun vocal samples.

‘Mindless Dance’ is a catchy tune with a deep seductive laidback atmosphere overhung by a pumping house beat to keep the audience sexy.
‘Nixie’s Trap’ takes the pressure up a notch with class, its deep tones and regular twists are sure to keep any dance floor hot at any time.

On the B-side, IDL, half of the duo, takes the controls with even different flavors to spice up this EP. Breaking the rhythm, ‘Spacetime’ shakes the heads and mixes the emotions by alternating between mellowness and energy.
Finally ‘Day 55’ closes this first chapter with a deep and mysterious approach. Screaming acid and soft pads that will make you close your eyes and dive into intense reflections.

Crazy Addict Recordings return with the third release on their label, offering up a twisted, driving, original techno track from label head, Álvaro Pastore alongside three massive remixes from: Marko Nástic, Tim Baker and Gunman. A heavyweight arsenal of cuts to draw from when the speakers and bodies need rumbling.

As a standout and highly requested track in Maceo Plex sets over the last year, his Ellum Audio label finally releases Raxon's 'The Cage of Love,' an epic cover of trance classic 'Age of Love'.

The original 'Age of Love' is a genre and era-defining tune. Despite its legendary status, Raxon is an artist who is more than up to the challenge of reinterpreting it for contemporary dance floors. The Egyptian-born, Barcelona-based artist is an underground mainstay with a fantastic album on Kompakt, top singles on Ellum Audio and Cocoon Recordings and gigs all over the world. He has teased this track at many of them, and it has never failed to light up the dance floor.

'The Cage Of Love' has an all-new techno feel with a taught bassline and slapping drum funk. The lead synths are molten and futuristic, while the original's vocal adds the iconic hook. The track builds in layers, teasing and then pleasing when it finally drops as the dance floor explodes and the laser-like synths spray about the mix with a life of their own.

The vinyl comes with extended and instrumental mixes, while digital downloads include the radio edit and extended mixes.

This is a new high point for Raxon and a bona fide classic in the making from Ellum Audio.
