KILLEKILL 014 is being delivered by ALEX CORTEX. On the A-side HYPERFOCUS combines a heavily distorted kickdrum with uplifting trance chords and a breakbeat feeling as if this was the most normal thing in the world. The result is an outstanding anthem that can be used on all floors, whether they are techno, house or breakbeat.
BY FORCE OF ATTRITION is a typical ALEX CORTEX-track: driving and static at the same time, slowly moving, hypnotic and deep.
The B-side features a remix of HYPERFOCUS by SKUDGE. The swedish duo recently released an EP of Alex Cortex on their Label Skudge Presents and in return remix this track here for Killekill. They extract the breakbeat sounds of the original and use them for a warm minimalistic house tool driven by a smacky wooden snare.

Slow and smooth build up with an intense but mellow peak that just goes on and on. It fills you with empathy and intense sensation heightening. SWIM smoked a joint halfway through and melted into the couch. It's perfect for a rolling party with a group of friends, though SWIM imagines it would be great for a proper party too. Sometimes SWIM felt like dancing, but spent most of the time staring into space. This is really nice, intense, smooth and mellow. Get ahold of these if you get the chance!

Cupula Recordings continues its stellar run by showcasing international artists and including local talents in their newest five-artist VA. Expect high energy as well as psychedelic and elevated analog jams.

It begins with ‘Frobiq’ a hypnotic sequenced earthquake followed by ‘Planet Terror’ an industrial infectious jam. ‘The Reason’ slows things down with an emotional deep breakbeat decorated with the belgian sound. On the flip side Catalan producers and owners of the label come up with ‘Combat Mortal’ an infernal acid spell.

Vince Void closes down with ‘Rush’ a turbocharged acid house track that serves as a true weapon for the club.

Up next on Happiness Therapy is Lyon-based mainstay Denyl Brook with his first full-length EP on the emerging label. Already a firm favourite through his contributions to the lauded Happy House series, his forthcoming I Wanna EP follows on from two recent appearances on revered UK outfit Shall Not Fade, as he returns to the French imprint in June to gift us four tracks of mood-lifting musical goodness.


Denyl Brook is swiftly becoming one of France’s most talked-about rising talents. Head of his own Silver Step Records, he’s a familiar face at Happiness Therapy, having racked up several productions on the label’s Happy House compilation series over the years. He’s also one of their resident DJs, regularly playing at their parties across his native country and beyond, and has recently landed a solid release on UK-imprint Shall Not Fade. Now, I Wanna acts as his debut solo EP on Happiness Therapy, proving that Denyl Brook is only just getting started.

Planet Orange records proudly returns with their long awaited third release which includes four new tracks destined for the dancefloor. Space Expeditions EP kicks off with Kepler who is no stranger to a vinyl release, this time he presents a proper summer house track with “Feel the Rhythm” which is sure to get any party started. For A2 we introduce Nuances de Nuit label co-owner T Jacques with “Spruce Caboose” sticking to what he knows with his fully of energy and fun signature production style which is perfectly fitting for the label. Pete Melba brings in B2 releasing on his own label with “El Hombre” pushing a slightly deeper, techier sound and finishing up the VA on B2 we have Accented Measures who refuses to bring us back down to Earth with a very catchy groove in “Adrift in Space”.

A new sub-label of LORI Records by Orli, IROL is born with the aim of giving space to creativity and ideas.

A spot where every artist can express his or her music without prejudices and limitations but also to give space to tracks which would never be released for artistic choice but that really deserve to be shown to the world.

The ever-prolific and established artist Alan Abrahams aka Portable makes a swift and very welcome return to Circus Company with the impressive lead single "Guiding Me", giving us an early taste of his forthcoming album Augmented Dreams to be released in the fall.

Conceptually the direction of this new project refers to the use of technology to alter our dreams, inadvertently or not, as so much tech advancement becomes available and ingrained in our daily lives. The timely lead single here inspired by Abraham's South African ancestors the Khoi San people and the guidance they provide, appropriately exuding both futurist formed sonics and dream-like tenderness in content, led by his dulcet-toned vocals and delivered with the super solid production we've come to expect. Wonderful multi-purpose electronic music which will find itself right at home on late-night discerning dance floors, or indeed guiding the listener through their respective travels, solo meditations or get-downs in headphones.

Along with the excellent "Guiding Me" original mix, we are graced with a masterful remix by Hamburg's Lawrence of Smallville and Dial fame, who takes the track into an even more floor-focussed realm with his patented rolling sub-bass lines which will guarantee plenty of summertime sound system finessing, as well as the EP-exclusive B2 track "Vigor" in which Portable goes even deeper in tone with classic styled vocal cut-ups and repurposed shards of tasty sound design added to keep the dancers endlessly entranced when and wherever they may be.

M.E.R 004 La Lucha EP is the first release put out by Cabanelas from his own label project, which he shares with artists like Santiago Uribe and Juan Dairechsion.

15 YEARS OF SEX TAGS MANIA! Established in Bergen 2004 and ran by DJ Sotofett & DJ Fett Burger the first 4-5 years as one of Norways only labels consistently releasing House & Techno on vinyl. Since about 2008/09 it's been operated by DJ Sotofett.

Skatebård's "Conga" has turned to be one of the most sought after releases from the Sex Tags Mania catalog with it's sparse pressing of about 2-300 copies – though most of the original stock was given away as the record gained minimal interest in 2005. The original record was cut with excellence by Lawrie Immersion – and pressed in his own plant – the now defunct Curved Pressings. MANIA 30 – the repress of "Conga" has as close to original sound as possible and it also carries a new B-side – the Crystal Bois live version of "Conga" from 2007, featuring Skatebård on male vox!

Detroit based label Infolines deliver the fifth release titled CAID, featuring members Bendersnatch, Acid Jerks, Maxlow & Remove Viewing Party.


“You have reached the Infolines. The Infolines spaceship crashed back in Detroit, again. Time to get the warehouse ready for transmission.” First up is Road Map, Bendersnatch returns with a no-nonsense club friendly techno tool designed to pave the way to the underground party you are in no doubt driving towards. Sophistry comes next RVP beams down their new 4 to the floor, house infused guitar riffs with crunchy drums projected straight from the mother ship.

Maxlow returns with a spacey odyssey Shooting for Saturn featuring a return collaboration with Motor City Strings with Erin Z, showing off dreamy violin that will no doubt take you on a journey worthy of space & time. Lastly, Infolines welcomes Acid Jerks, newcomers to the label who need no introduction.

The mysterious duo provides Digital Warefare, an homage to Underwater early days Detroit electro jam, with lush chords and spacy arpeggios and a snare that snaps through driving you to new horizons. Opting to remain “anonymous and off the radar”, the enigma surrounding Bendersnatch allows their music to do the talking. More is known about Mike Petrack and Aran Daniel AKA Remote Viewing Party, part label-founders and a pairing who have appeared on Resident Advisor’s stage at Movement Festival Detroit in the past.


The same cannot be said for the mysterious Maxlow, who once again
prefers to remain “anonymous and off the radar”, this time with the Detroit based strings power house Motor City Strings. Keeping with the theme of anonymity, not much is known about the Acid Jerks other than their duo is crushing the game with releases on Nu Groove, Refuge, Music for Freaks, Flaneurecordings, and Local Talk.

A1 goes by our chicago friends Ciphr (Max Jacobson and Christian Thomas) with some jazzy grooves and a hypnotic saxophone melody that can blow your head off, A2 in charge of the san diego gem producer John Manhard, soft house masterpiece, his way of processing sounds is something that still has us shocked, the sound in this track will make you realize the great work he dedicates in post production, B1 is a full electro vibe with some sick arpeggios layers over the track, great tune as always by the italian prodigy Riciar Ghir, perfect for starting the dancefloor move.
On the B2 as always we have someone from the honne music family and we can not be more than happy with the vinyl debut of our beloved Costa that has given us a track in which you can feel all the fury and desire to raise his hand and tell the world that he is ready for everything involved in the music production, this is a perfect track for peak hr time.
