The launch of his label, Today, Tomorrow continues the evolution of London based musician T.Williams. Over his 10 years as a DJ, producer, remixer and radio presenter T has proven to be an eclectic and exceptional curator of new and established talent from around the globe, across all manner of styles. Emerging as one of grime's seminal producers at a young age, T turned to house music in the late 00s, incorporating his influences of jungle, grime and garage and stitching them into his own 4x4 template. The Today, Tomorrow label venture continues where T's own journey began: with a limited edition vinyl release that contains 4 previously unreleased tracks from the vaults of West London grime legend Jon E Cash - T's former cohort in the renowned Black Ops grime crew. Jon E Cash is one of the key members and founding fathers on the Black Ops crew, focused on making sublow music, a particular pocket of the overarching grime movement, specific to West London; taking in influences from UK Garage, Jungle, Reggae and Hip Hop. Alongside, Charmzy, D-2Real, Chaps, Sly and Copone; as well as T.Williams under his former moniker, Dread.D; Black Ops was responsible for some of the genre anthems of the early 00s; and although he never really went away, Jon E Cashsteps firmly back into the limelight with 4 previously unreleased smashers from circa 2002, the prime time of the grime and sublow movement, featuring "Gangster", "War Bashie", "Cash Combo" and "Sen U Rita". This is the concept Today, Tomorrow revolves around seeking out innovation and new movements, bridging and bending genre, history and territorial boundaries. At a time when the worlds of urban and electronic music swirl ever closer, T and his label Today, Tomorrow is primed to deliver an organic point of intersection.
