Strategy returns to Chris Farrell's Idle Hands label for the first time since his 'Seeds Of Paradise' LP, and his first record of the year following releases for Nite Owl's Diner and Zam Zam's sister label Khaliphonic in 2018.

Here he turns in a bassy house number by the name of 'Tropical Storm', one for those sloppy grins in the summer months. The most requested track ID on Shanti Celeste's Dekmantel mix, here it finally sees the light of day. On the flip is the more paired back 'Evolu'

Juan Ramos and Trent AKA Greenvision are back for pENE d'Amore part 2, a collaborative release between Berlin's Cocktail d'Amore Music and Ene Tokyo. This precious 12" follows Rambutan, the duo's offering to Los Angeles' ESP Institute. The cover is made by visual artist Giulia Munari and reminds of the melting pattern of a Murano glass, referencing indeed the abundance the listener is soon to discover putting the needle on this record. A multitude of acid lines tinged with a touch of trance and a carefree melody roll over an almost off-beat groove in Mountain of Madness, taking over A side. On the flip, the didgeridoo-based Rolling2joints takes the listener exploring a mystical forest on a distant planet. Again disorienting, psychedelic and explosive, Greenvsion's productions sound like riddles to be solved, puzzles to be composed. Their unique sonic layering philosophy results in an almost unclassifiable music genre ready to please the thirstier dance-floors.

The latest ensemble outing comes courtesy of Fader, who runs his own Borneo imprint and has recently released on the newly established Bar Rotterdam label. The Dutchman delivers four different shades of powerful house music, all of them crafted within the walls of his Tenth Floor Studio somewhere between 2014 and 2018 !

The package kicks off with “Rubato Alle Tribù Del Sud”, a tribute (as well as a nudge) to the hedonistic Italian nineties but injected with a dose of edgy NY tribal house - an emotional yet uplifting ride that will get any dancefloor hooked. Up next comes “Dirty Detox”, a timeless affair consisting of a rolling Vermona Mono Lancet bass line, TR-909 drums, a touch of 303 and a mangled Casio CZ having a party while everyone’s asleep. “Echt Hè” is the classy deephouse track of the bunch. Its moody bass line and magical melodies are the result of a Boss DR 660 drum machine’s pairing with a few singing eurorack modules. The grittiest workout is aptly kept for the B2: “Suzan Caught On Tape” was the first piece of music production Fader ever finished in the city of Rotterdam. After running it through his old Mackie desk, throwing cheap reverb and delay effects on top, he bounced the whole thing straight to cassette tape. Finito, as they say.

Inconspicuous French duo Nummer (made up of Silvère Letellier and Emmanuel Corre AKA E-Talking, best known for their work with Going Good) deliver a stunning five track EP laced with supersonic, hypnotic and funky fresh space oddities for people of the new age! A revitalising take on classic deep house and IDM styles, Space Oddities Volume 1 is infused with strong doses of organic percussion, odd samples and blissful melodies. Get up and move or sit back and experience the curious world of Nummer, in what could be their most exciting offering to date.

Three vocalists contribute across the album, with Tyson choosingto work
with singers he has apersonal admiration and friendship with. HollieCook,
known to many for her ethereal pop tingedreggae, delivers a
sumptuouscontribution on 'Heartland', adding a beautiful emotional
dimensionto the hornled track. Lulu Jones' vocals are treated more as a
sample for the garagetinged 'CallOn Me' and Ruby Wood, of Submotion
Orchestra, has worked with Tysonover a number ofprojects and their
shared love of 90s soul comes to the fore onthe laid back grooves and
sunkissed 'Only One Thing'.

The 3rd EP (of 4) looking at the music of Exquisite Corpse's output from 1992 to 1994. As with the rest of the series the music included covers the palette of Robbert Heynen's output and is presented here, remastered and redesigned for club play.

Working as ever with friend and engineer Tim Freeman, as well as partner Debbie Jones, Heynen's post-Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia productions took his techno, trance and tribal explorations to a new conclusions.

With Point Zero all these elements come together with possibly the strongest tracks of the EPs. Opening EC's sophomore album, Inner Light, there is confidence in the interplay between oscillating sequencing and rattling drums, perfectly and infectiously interweaving between headspace and dance floor.

B K S from the Dream Night Dance Music album follows and takes things down a notch. Ethnic leanings interplay with light percussion and a deep bass to pull you till dawn.

Side two opens with the clattering, syncro-rhythms of Traditional Ties With Dreaming. Taken from their debut EP, Reassembling Reality is itself the perfect elude. Quasi-dreamlands, drumming for 1000 musicians that loops and builds, dismembers and starts over like a gentile, hypnotic orchestra.

To complete the EP, Dream Night Dance Music appears again with Elevator showing a love of the original deep house odes emanating from Fingers and Jefferson of late 80s Chi Town. Fluorescent keys overlay somber drum and bass to sink the most melancholy sunsets. An end to the beginning. A beginning to the end. A third ending.

Sworn Virgins are back on Soulwax/2manydjs label, DEEWEE with two more hugely effective club tracks entitled ‘Lazer Beam / Take Your Lady.

From the green hills of Albania to the back rooms of New York City, Sworn Virgins bring the light. A strangers hand on your shoulder, bright red painted finger nails scratching your thigh, all those beautiful things that made you leave that small town you came from. Greased up and ready to go, close your eyes and take it in.

Five years after his track 'Mr. Croissant Taker' appeared on Soulwax's Grand Theft Auto V radio station, Belgian producer Transistorcake releases his official debut release, the 'Future Plans' EP on Eskimo Recordings. Featuring 4 tracks of hazy electronica that would sit neatly alongside early releases on Aphex Twin's Rephlex label or recent excursions by the likes of Palmbomen and Betonkust.

Opening tracks 'Future Plan I' and 'Future Plan II' sets out Transistorcake's stall nicely. Swirling synth melodies, an ever evolving bassline that leads you down a labyrinthine maze and diaphanous strings and pads all add up to create an ecstatic yet at the same time melancholic quality to the music that manages to sound both ancient and modern.

"Future Plans I and II are constantly changing routes of ideas, improvisations and coincidences," explains Transistorcake, "nothing is a constant in the two numbers, outside the pulse of the drums. You can see them as two possible versions of the future or as an old version of the future alongside its current variation."

Whilst cut from the same cloth as the previous tracks 'Ribbles' has more than a touch of the Nordics to it. Sparkling, playful melodies glitter like snowflakes caught in the flash of a strobe light before a pulsing disco beat rockets the track into the stratosphere. In his own words the track is "an ode to spontaneity and dancing without braking. I pictured it being played by a live band next to a pool at an LA cocktail party in the '80s."

Closing the EP we have 'Kluts', driven by a stuttering, head-nodding, rhythm that recalls that rapping sound of a woodpecker in the forest, the track is gently swaddled in a warm embrace of synthetic stings that gradually develops and asserts its dominance over the course of nine, all-too brief as it happens, minutes. For all its gauzy textures there's also an undeniable solidity to these tracks, an underlying organic quality and nostalgic warmth that permeates them.

Having previously studied jazz composition and played in several bands over the years, Transistorcake brings a sense of spontaneity to the often all-to-structured world of electronic music. This EP just capturing a snapshot in time of these songs that can be endlessly reworked and reimagined in his live set, where live bass and drums, are added to his collection of vintage synths to an endless back and forth between man and machine.

On HRM002 Marquis Hawkes delivers his take on Georgian myths. Each track of the EP is dedicated to one realm in the Georgian cosmology. A1 - Zeskneli" takes us to the white heavens, where the gods reside. A raw and hypnotic house track, deep and celestial. On the B-side we are bound to the earthly plane of - Ukana Skneli". Trippy yet percussive, Marquis Hawkes shows off his funky side. His vision of the underworld - Kveskneli" is rich in soul and unapologetically dancy. A beautifully crafted journey through mythology and sounds.

Tribe is a record label created by like-minded artists from Barcelona, with a bold purpose of generating and sharing their idea of timeless electronic music. The debut EP Tribe01 comprises four different yet catchy and charismatic tunes that meet at the same point - the dance floor.

As you take off from the A side, you discover an audioreactive tune 'Inertia' - a creation of Baraso & Sonodab aka Barson. The track has a genuine ravy soul spiced with an acid touch and a memorable pad that will get stuck in your head.

As you continue exploring A side, you recognize the 1996 masterpiece 'Hamstrung' by Freddy Fresh aka Modulator, head of Analog Records USA. This exclusive re-edit made with Freddy's permission has a legendary groove of 90's and filtered hats that make a good party great.

Moving on to the B side, you meet a serious dance floor burner 'Chromatic Life' - a creation of Artes. The track is a travel towards the unknown depth of acid, house and techno sounds - a journey you want to make.

As you finish your sound voyage, you discover a phenomenal 'Gravitron' by a mastermind John Shima. The track breathes a melancholic tune, garnished with John's unique charisma: detroitish pads, acid elements, and a well-balanced groove that will hypnotize with its vibe.

Marvin Jupiter is an 18 year old artist who mainly makes hip-hop music, using bass lines as rhythms more associated with funk. He uses and creates the sound of the modern day interpretation of trap adding his own personal twist.

'Reach' is a rendition of the typical "house" genre including rhythms sampled from South American cultures, using current sounds from the "trap genre" even having a small section of a "trap/hip-hop" beat towards the end of the song.

It's easy to fall for a nostalgic approach to dance music, to cuddle oneself in the warm analogue sounds of late 1980's dance productions - especially with the heavy ongoing reissue trend going on. However, we have to stay focus: look out for contemporary sounds and means of production. Parisian producer Nathan Melja makes his debut on Antinote with an idiosyncratic three-tracker and our guess is that it sounds contemporary.

On the A-side: one tune: Deadrums. Both the name and the music speak for themselves. It's hard, it's efficient and at the same time, there's quite a lot going on, tiny bumps on the straightforward road to techno ecstasy. Nevertheless, Deadrums is a precise piece of machinery, an atmospheric banger, yes, but with deadly jaws made out of tempered steel to tear a dancefloor apart, piece-by-piece. On the B-side, Angels stands out as a perfect example of a song that has many dancefloor qualities but, like some of DJ Sprinkles' seminal recordings, turns out to be more of a late-night tale of urban wanderings on wet pavements (think Taxi Driver and its soundtrack by Bernard Hermann). Contemplative, melancholic and - let's say it - sad, its nagging melody can bring a little tear to the eyes of the most sensitive ones. Rounding up the 12' is Candy, a tune under the influence of bad boys like DJ Overdose, or Ghettotech legend DJ Assault - so that you can dry your tears.

It's Nathan Melja's first release on Antinote, but he's definitely not a newcomer. He's been around since Antinote exists, and we're glad to finally collaborate with him.

Over the past few years, Palms Trax has cemented his place on the Dekmantel roster and become one of the family. His upbeat attitude and knack for selection have made Jay Donaldson one of the scene's most in-demand and warmly regarded selectors. Combining rare, globally-sourced finds with exuberant house anthems, his annual sets at Dekmantel Festival have showed a nearly unmatched capacity for filling floors and creating grooves. Now, the UK producer puts his talents to work on To Paradise, tapping classic Italo, wave and Balearic house for an EP that has summertime written all over it.

Title track "To Paradise" kicks things off with an infectious, melodic chorus that spirals into a pulsing rhythm. It's full of those 'hand-in-the-air' type moments, and topped with blissful vibes. "Love In Space" follows with a throbbing bassline melded with rich atmospheres. It's more Adriatic than Balearic, careening with an anthemic affection and destined for festival season. "Heron" veers away from the Italo vibes and standard structures that hold regular dance tracks together. A departure into more experimental electronics, the dynamics are controlled through rhythms and the synthesised melodies create forlorn narratives across machine-driven sequences. It's a dynamic finish to this considered and perfectly timed trio of offerings.

Bike Thieves are back. On last year's celebrated 'Laura EP', the Stockholm duo plunged into the sounds of classic garage and deep house. On 'Catherina EP', Daniel Strand and Erik Danielson move in a slightly different direction. An explosive blend of afro grooves, tribal vocals and deep kicks and basslines, 'Catherina EP' lets the rhythmic frenzy of Fela Kuti encounter modern house. The record also features Saine, one of Finland's finest underground producers.

On the opening title track of 'Catherina EP', Bike Thieves offer a mysterious deep house burner which slowly builds up around punchy congas, sweeping pads and female chants, eventually exploding in an orgasmic djembe solo. They get even more organic on 'The Greatest Curve', an afro jam driven by funky basslines and polyrhythmic percussions. On the B-side, Saine offers his own take on 'Catherina', turning the track into a hypnotizing and sleepless groove of dance floor tribal.

Widely revered French DJ and producer, Thomas Arroyo aka Laroye has released music exploring a variety of different genres from broken beat on the early days of MCDE and Faces Records, through to funk and boogie with QWESTLIFE on Midnight Riot, Black Riot and ISM Records and beyond. His creativity extends to a number of side projects, like Soul Rüma (with Andre Espeut) and experimental modular jams and atmospheric blues with his own project The Tom Laroye Experiment.

His next release on Tiff's Joints has already received the seal of approval from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Alexander Nut, Volcov and more. The A1, 'Colombia 26a', sets pace for the release with heavy Afro-Latin percussion, a thick bassline and the type of dexterous musicality the label is steadily becoming known for. 'The Trickster' is built around an infectiously squelchy keys part, bolstered by a bouncing bassline, the track culminates in a soaring lead melody and ridiculous synth solo. 'Espiritú' is more downtempo and spacey. Kicking off with a relentlessly driving and hypnotic polyrhythm, and complete with an uplifting choral arrangement, seriously trippy lapsteel guitar (!) and a mysterious guiding voice.

M.A.D. is a collaboration of the Funkroom DJs and producers Moxx And Digilog.

After having contributed single tracks for YOSHI005 and WWM003 they subsequently announced their first EP together as M.A.D.

Their 'Sanset EP' consists of four drum-oriented House/Techno hybrids which, through their cutting-edge production, stand the test of time and work very well with contemporary dancefloor-minded club music alike.

'Sometimes you wake up and you've just lost the plot. Is life great or is it not Should I eat more fruit Is buying diamonds rude' Ca$hminus are asking all the wrong questions. After their debut on Bordello A Parigi last year and a recent appearance on Credit 00's Rat Life imprint, the Belgo-Australiana duo unleash a collection of their wildest works to date. The package opens with 'Atlandwehr', a jaunting affair that could have risen from the filthy Berlin Landwehr canal, only to dissolve again after six frenzied minutes, leaving nothing but a trace of bubbles on the skanky surface. The gritty 'La Foire', a grimy take on Belgian new beat, fuses raw, stepping drums with a playfully gnarly synth line. Luckily 'De Vlasmarkt' is lurking around the corner: this is the awkwardly joyous soundtrack to an annual phenomenon in Ghent, where young and old folks gather on the 'Vlasmarkt' square after a heavy night of boozing, to collectively gaze at at the sun coming up whilst drinking Irish coffees until they drop. G-funk meets electro on the flipside, where Cora from Chengdu showcases her vocal swag on '' to a backdrop of supreme subbass and rattling beats. Man of the moment Cornelius Doctor of HARD FIST fame (the adventurous imprint he runs with Tushen Rai) delivers a beast of a rework that both hypnotizes and elevates. The acapella leaves you in charge of your own destiny.

This triple pronged battle weapon from Cowboy Rhythmbox takes is inspiration from a wealth of disparate elements, the brutal drum machine swagger of early Chicago house, the murky world of 1980's video arcades, the bleeps of Sheffield, arcane home computing documentaries recorded to VHS, public access TV, yes there really is something here for everyone.

Hands Inside The Car:
Proof that there is joy in repetition, a wonderfully eccentric number with a deadpan vocal hook that wraps itself around a killer combination of sub bass, freestyle beats and deranged reversed elements.

Vodonik:
A stark, glacial rave beast, very much a reaction against Cowboy Rhythmbox's usual maximal approach. This is stripped-down-to-the-bone body music that will work in the most cavernous of rave palaces or the most intimate seedy basement club.

The two friends continue to break boundaries of nowadays often narrow minded dance music by using the broadest palette of musical ingredients they could possibly put together for their special studio session.

While ASTRAL STROLL is a spaced out groover featuring some of Aybee's trademark rhythms and mysterious pads, FULL EXPANSION

It is time for the fifth release of Discos Nutabe, the creator of the three tracks that make up "Niebla" is Lunate, a Bogota born and raised, who in this decade has been the emerging producers that the city has given moving in artistic circles where it reigns self-management.

Discos Nutabe returns to the House with Lunate, this is how he feels Bogotá, where he dedicates this complete EP to his city.

"A La Sombra de los Cerros" is the first track, composed with a jam of synthesizers and rhythm machines where Lunate evokes certain nuances of the past, as a tribute to his life as an artist in the great city of Colombia.

"Bogotá Adentro" is based on the narrative of the book "Toño Ciruelo" by Evelio Rosero, who describes the diverse reality of a city like Bogotá, city of brutal contrasts. Lunate describes this track as an ocean of sensations, a markedly atmospheric and serene track, a mental interlude for the dance floor.

"Luz de Domingo" marks acid and atmospheric textures where Lunate wants to reflect the calm of Sunday in the big city. A breath, a recharge, a change of reality, a truce agreed by the city and the calendar before the incessant evolution of the frantic days that follow.

As one of the UK's most hyped and anticipated new producers, 23 year old Sam Shepherd aka Floating Points has been busy in the studio crafting a warm and soulful blend of house and boogie. Consisting of three new tracks the Vacuum EP is a club friendly slice of upbeat summer madness. It's title track 'Vacuum Boogie' is already in heavy rotation on the playlists of Benji B, Mary Anne Hobbs and Gillies Peterson.

Krewcial Is Back On Wph After Some Seriously Funky Adventures On Marcel Vogel's Fine Lumberjacks In Hell Label. We Wanted To Finish Our 10' Series In Style And It's Safe To Say That Krewcial Provided The Goods. On The A-side 'plaster' Brings Us Raw Vocal Piano House Of The Highest Order And A Sure-fire Hands In The Air Moment On Any Discerning Dance Floor.

On The Flip 'proto' Is What Proto Says: Raw House Business For More Theo Parrish Or Ron Hardy Styled Slam Dancing Damage. Since His House Debut On Wph Krewcial Has Been Going From Strength To Strength And With This E.p. He Shows No Signs Of Slowing Down.

Legendary producers and early acid house forefathers Phuture are welcomed to the AVOTRE imprint with a huge remix package of their seminal 1988 hit, We Are Phuture.

By enlisting the production talents of three of the biggest names in contemporary electronic music, Phuture have rejuvenated the classic track with an up to date sound, 30 years on from its original release.

Kicking off the release, techno don, Ricardo Villalobos, adds his unique flair, creating a much deeper alternative to the original, dripping with weighty tones and dense synth interchanges.

AVOTRE label owner Santé also lays his hand to the release with his own take on the Phuture classic. With a slightly lighter feel than Ricardo's efforts, Santé harnesses his exceptional production capabilities to produce another massive remix of the track.
Starting relatively heavy, Santé embraces the original's now legendary vocal, gradually building before eventually dropping back into its heavy foundations.

Finally, Marco Faraone rounds off the remix package with a true to style club weapon.
With each of these renowned producers adding their own unique style to this classic track, 'We Are Phuture (Remixes Part I)' provides a selection of modern interpretations that will appeal to dancefloors across clubland.

Also on the package is German producer and Watergate resident, Sebo K, with a smooth remix.

Working with Blur on their Think Tank album clearly made an impact on Norman Cook. Palookaville, his
fourth outng as cartoon dance hero Fatboy Slim, has a distnctly beatnik theme running through it. It
also relies more on real instruments and proper songs, rather than Cook's laptop and fun foor fllers,
swapping instant thrills for something longer lastng. That said it's unmistakably a Fatboy Slim record,
and a prety phenomenal one at that.
The trademark beach party anthems are stll there. The Latno shake of 'Wonderful Night', 'El Bebe
Masoquista''s electro-funk and single 'Slash Dot Dash' with its snarling surf guitar all prove that
there's life in Bigbeat yet. But it's the mellower tracks that stand-up to constant rewinds. 'North West
Three', a dreamy twilight tune dedicated to wife Zoe Ball, is a gorgeously romantc swayer and plinky
hobo dity 'Put It Back Together' delivers a ramshackle shot of optmism in the Think Tank style, com-
plete with a drowsy Damon Albarn. Meanwhile, 'Long Way From Home'--the moody sub-bass rumble
from the O2 ad--and road movie rocker 'Push and Shove' fnd the middle ground and demonstrate
that Cook's imaginaton is as actve as ever.
All the usual cut'n'paste musical bric-a-brac's there. All the wackiness and cool grooves remain. It's just
that this tme they sound just as good in the living room as they do on the dance-foor.

For his third EP, The Fat Badgers' leader Leopard DaVinci comes back with one of his most personal and accomplished EPs. Between french-pop and electro-funk, "Vive le vent EP" is a 5-track UFO featuring for the first time french vocals over Leopard's groovy instrumentals.

The SlothBoogie crew welcomes man of mystery Joe Cleen to the SBEDITZ series with 4 outstanding raw and ready cuts.

Starting us off is the certified disco monster 'Give You All I Got'. Infectious brass, erotic vocals and huge space toms are reworked to launch any dancefloor into the stratosphere! Next up is 'City Nights' a neon soaked snapshot of an 80's nightclub in miami filled with rhythm guitars, slap bass & gliding synths.

Things get emotional on the B-side with 'Dear Lord'... A glorious piano jam laced with dubbed out gospel vocals, shuffling drum machine hats and a pimped out G-Funk synth lead that really takes you to church! Closing out the EP is 'The Fun Part', a bubblin' bass funk groover filled with crisp percussion and jazzy Rhodes licks.

David Marston is a producer, DJ, musician, and guitarist hailing from the vibrant Caribbean island of Jamaica. He takes a multifaceted approach to his music, and has worked to achieve a sound that is a fusion of multiple genres, including, but not limited to, house, hip-hop, disco, jazz, as well as reggae. During a six-month stint in Jamaica in 2016, Marston reconnected with a close friend and fellow musician, Craig Williamson, and the pair began writing music that would become the basis of Marston's first full length album. With the album set to be released in early 2019, Marston has endeavored to put together a special 12" to showcase the club-friendly side of his music with a selection of the album's dance cuts.

The A-side of the vinyl kicks off with the title track, "Feeling You", which features Williamson's crooning voice over a hypnotic instrumental characterized by a swirling arpeggiated synth, punchy bass hits, and stomping drums. To round off the A-side, Italian DJ and production duo, Lowheads, give the aforementioned track a fresh makeover with their lively classic house remix and dub version. The flip side of the record consists of two instrumental tracks. The first, "Ragamuffin", is a mesmerizing four to the floor tune constructed around an Indian raga sample. The final number, "On My Mind" is an off-kilter house groove with rolling keys, garage style drums, and a soaring lead. Taken together, the 12" album 'sampler' is a robust yet tantalising collection of club-ready tunes.
