In its original form, Holy Ghost!'s debut album cut 'Hold My Breath' is, pure and simple, great dancefloor electronic pop; in the hands of shadowy duo Tiger & Woods, the song has been totally reshaped and refracted through '80s R&B radio. They've slowed the pace and inserted synth-funk hot flashes that recall Prince - and, no kidding, The Time, and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis - to create a mood that fits comfortably (and pleasurably) within their 'future boogie' m.o. Cosmic Kids Ron Poznansky and Dan Terndrup have taken the track in a more tensely dramatic direction. It might be the vaguely darkened synthline upon which much of that track sits that lends itself to its more intense feel here, and gives it such a pleasant nocturnal feel. Finally, there's Falty DL's re-envisioning, which goes down awfully smooth for a track so full of the big, thick, bumping bass beats. It's an aural pleasure to find yourself dreamily lost in the Brooklyn, New York producer/DJ's halls of reverberating sound.

Erick Morillo is a household name and deservedly so. Morillo is also the man behind the legendary Subliminal record label and the infamous Subliminal Sessions international club shows (including his Wednesday nights @ Pacha Ibiza).

Eddie Thoneick hails from Germany and is one of House Music's most respected Djs & Producers. His break-through came in 2006 with 'Love Sensation', his collaboration with Kurd Marverick. Since then he went on to remix for Moby, David Guetta, Mary J Blige, Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso.
Live Your Life's killer vocals come from the unmistakable sound of Shawnee Taylor. LA born & New York raised, Shawnee is a long time songstress for Morillo, who describes her as the best around.

One of my big favourite Instra tunes is Vicodin (released with Let's Talk - a dark, foreboding dubstep classic) and it gets a makeover by Skudge who are getting mentions everywhere right now. Check this track; even the waveform looks f***in' dark! Skudge warp it into something between dubstep and house but with all the downer-rhythm that really makes this track.
