This is the first EP taken from Detroit Swindle's upcoming debut album 'Boxed Out' to be released on the 24th of March 2014 on Dirt Crew Recordings. To heaten up the anticipation on the long awaited debut album by Amsterdam's finest Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets we give you three tracks from the album as a little teaser to what is to come on the full length. First up is the title track 'Huh, What!' a true Detroit Swindle banger that takes us back to pumping Chicago old school house times. Much like their last EP on Dirt Crew that included 'John Doe' this new tune will (and we don't like this expression but can't think of another way to explain the sheer brutal power of this track) 'destroy' the dancefloors! If that wasn't enough bass in your face we got Leon Vynehall and A1 Bassline under their 'Laszlo Dancehall' moniker to rip 'Huh, What!' to shreds, resulting in a dark, pounding, straight up jackin' techno groove. Very raw and edgy, tweaking the original's key elements perfectly to join the dark groove going on. Definitely not for the faint of heart. The B-Side takes us back to that sweet and deep Detroit Swindle house groove. 'The Fat Rat' is much in the style of their last 'The Make Up to Break Up' release on their own 'Heist' imprint. A groovy percussive and soulful stabby house excursion, Amsterdam to Detroit via New York and back! 'Monkey Wrench', the last track on this EP, is just beautiful and quite possibly one of the highlight down tempo house tracks of the Album. It has this slow groove we all love from the Swindle's and a combo between the warm sound of the rhodes and the electronic feel of the arpy bass that really makes you love the track more and more each time you play it.

Following the great success of Detroit Swindle's 'Boxed Out' Album we present you the second single take out. Their collaboration with Mayer Hawthorne on '64 Ways' already gained massive support from DJ's and radio stations around the globe in the past weeks and we're proud to present you this remix pack with none other than Kerri Chandler, Kraak & Smaak and Detroit Swindle's remix of Detroit Swindle (Inception anyone) It's an honor to have one of the godfathers of House: Kerri Chandler on remix duties. He has been a great supporter of the guys over the past years, often showing off his piano skill over 'Guess What' and generally supporting a lot of The Swindlers tunes. He turned the original version of '64 Ways' in a true Kerri 'Kaoz' Chandler tune with the use of his trademark key progressions and drums. Don't miss out on the instrumental if vocals aren't really your thing. The second remix is done by the guys themselves and oh boy what a monster tune it is! Stripped down to just a few basics from the original, adding a lovely filtered key loop, they made a deep dance floor burner in true Swindle style: 'swing, drop, and everything else". As a final to this fine remix pack we asked fellow Dutch house heads Kraak & Smaak to return the favor on the remix tip after Detroit Swindle remixed their track 'The future is yours' with Ben Westbeech. They came up with a full on Disco House stomper, with a bass line that will stick with you for the rest of the day and an irresistible disco feel. Have fun dancing to these great cuts! we for sure can't sit still :)

Caracal follows the British group's acclaimed debut, 2013's Settle, which included their breakthrough hit Latch' (featuring vocals from a pre-stardom Sam Smith). The new album will feature guest vocals from Nao, Lion Babe, Kwabs and jazz veteran Gregory Porter, the latter of whom appears on Holding On.' Last month, Disclosure premiered the dance floor jam Bang That.'

The duo, comprised of Guy and Howard Lawrence, teased the LP in the below trailer, which features moody images of a caracal, the titular wild cat.

The group explained the meaning of their new title in a statement. A caracal is an incredible wild cat that I became fascinated with while on tour last year. I just love the way they look, their physical capabilities and their anonymity,' said member Howard Lawrence. It felt like a perfect fit for our WILD LIFE brand too, so the caracal made perfect sense as the lead visual for the new album and over the course of recording, it also felt like a natural title for the new record too.'

Disclosure have also announced two headlining U.S. shows for this fall: Los Angeles' Memorial Sports Arena on September 29th and New York City's Madison Square Garden on October 24th. General ticket on-sales begin Saturday, June 13th at 10 a.m. local time, American Express Card members can purchase advance tickets from Tuesday, June 9th at 10 a.m. through Friday, June 12th at 10 p.m.

The group gave their first live performance of 2015 this past weekend as headliners of the Parklife Festival followed by another headlining slot at their own personally curated WILD LIFE festival. The duo brought out their Caracal collaborators at the latter show, where they also debuted a new song, Jaded,' featuring Howard on vocals.

Following 2013's fantastical 'Heat Crime', Tim further explores his unique take on house music with two original tracks which make stylistic nods to the past but lead us elatedly to a place of uncommon and personal vision. On the A side we have 'Squiggles', a late night piece of tentacled whimsy. A joyful frolic in a fishy stream under the stars and in the Japanese garden of your soul. 'Like U Want Me 2' is a missive from yearning loins to a beloved recipient, "whilst we're both on earth in these fleshy suits". An unminced declaration of desire from one luminous blue erotic body to another. On the B side we found just the creature to flip Tim's script and deliver a singular rework. The Mole burrows further than we ever expected, dragging 'Squiggles' into unexplored territory deep within his underground tunnel network and having his way with it for the length of a short film. Timothy Blake is an Irish born electronic musician based in Berlin. After some years building up his studio and knowledge in the early to mid 90s, Tim began attempting to emulate the prevalent disco sounds of late 90s dance music, inadvertently developing his own sound. Later absorbing the atmospheric and stylistic influence of filmmakers such as Robert Altman, Nicolas Roeg and Brian de Palma, Tim felt inspired to make music reflecting similar moods and themes. By the mid 2000s Tim was a regular feature on Dublin's live music and DJ circuit. Following projects that didn't come to fruition with early influences Derrick May and Mad Mike Banks, he beat a retreat from the clubbing scene and concentrated on his compositions. However a later move to Berlin has seen Tim find a voice with releases on Kleine Reise Records, Dirt Crew, Fatty Fatty Phonographics and Lectric Sands NY.

Bei einem unglücklichen Sturz aus seinem Hochbett brach sich Nils Frahm 2012 seinen Daumen. Während
er sich von dem Unfall erholte, erhielt er von seinen Freunden und Anhängern großen Zuspruch. Dieser
inspirierte den Künstler zum Album "Screws", das heißt zu neun intimen Aufnahmen, die er als Dankeschön
in Form eines kostenlosen Downloads zur Verfügung stellte. Seine Fans wiederum bedankten sich bei ihm,
indem sie Frahm musikalische und visuelle Interpretationen der "Screws"-Stücke zuschickten. Fasziniert von
den Ergebnissen, entschied sich Nils seine Fans öffentlich dazu aufzurufen, ihm all ihre Bearbeitungen oder
jede Form von Kunst zu schicken, die von dem Album inspiriert wurde. Sämtliche Einsendungen wurden
seitdem auf einer von Erased Tapes speziell dafür eingerichteten Website gesammelt. So entstand die Idee
für das "Screws Reworked"-Projekt. Für dieses wählte Frahm neun der Zusendungen aus und bündelte sie
mit den neun Originalen zu einer neuen Veröffentlichung, die als Doppel-CD und -LP in den Handel kommt.
Das Beste dabei: Tatsächlich klingt "Screws Reworked" wie ein homogenes Album und nicht nach einer
willkürlichen Ansammlung von Stücken.

Whoever says small labels are getting damaged by Record Store Day haven't heard what the Belgian Deep & Soulful house label Melodymathics unleashes on April 18th.

Some of the country's finest, from the early and present House scene, are united on this 12" release. Raoul Belmans also know as Dj Raoul (Swirl People/Food Club/Silo), Raffa formerly know from soul and future jazz band 'Sweet Coffee' and labelowner Melodymann bring three feel good house cuts based around a self explanatory vocal motif 'Keep It Coming!' by one of Melodymathics residents 'Alex Agore'.

Cult Club is the musical project of Berlin artists Sally Jørgensen and László Antal. It was formed shortly after Sally and László realized that they could no longer spend their days draped over the couch drinking Pálinka and listening to "Axel F" on repeat. They then decided to put to use their god's gift of talent they so uniquely acquired, and formed Cult Club.
Their interest in melodic oldies songs and electro pop singles became the driving influence for their musical collaboration. They wanted to create a sound that made the people as mad and wild on the dance floor just as it did for the neighbours who couldn't stand listening to Sally and László s music blaring in the apartment complex.
Having a mirrored background in the arts, design, film and performance world, Sally and László decided to create a collaborative project that combined their musical and artistic backgrounds into one. DIY art films and electro pop is the by-product.

Mit - The Beacons Of Somewhere Sometime haben SUBSIGNAL ihren bislang vierten Longplay veröffentlicht. Nach einem Jahr intensiven Komponierens wurde das Album im Frühjahr 2015 von Markus Steffen, Arno Menses und Charly Czajkowski co-produziert. Die Keyboards wurden von Luca Di Gennaro (von der italienischen Band Soul Secret) übernommen, die Drums von Dirk Brand (u.a Axxis, Geoff Downes & John Wetton). Entstanden ist dabei ein knapp 70-minütiges Werk, dessen emotionale Tiefe im bisherigen Katalog der Band sicherlich ein Novum darstellt. Wenngleich es sich bei - The Beacons of Somewhere Sometime nicht um ein Konzeptalbum im klassischen Sinne handelt, durchziehen bestimmte, immer wiederkehrende musikalische Themen, die CD.
