The first chapter of All Off Tape story is curated by Bakked inc. remix from Voigtmann. 180 Grams.

The Beau Biens started out as a Yardbirds-inspired teen band in the Detroit suburb of Grosse Pointe. In the fall of 1966 the members moved to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where the single 'Times Passed' b/w 'A Man Who's Lost' was issued. The two songs were recorded at WCBN college radio with producer Joe Doll, known for his pioneering psychedelic radio programs. Through the years the band's 1967 single has earned acclaim with collectors worldwide. This long awaited reissue comes with sound from the original tape and was pressed -like the original- at Detroit's Archer Records, 50 years later.

Jacques Greene crafted a musical blueprint that inspired a generation who were raised on and looked to bring together the intersection of contemporary music growing up in the 90s: hip hop, RnB, house and techno.
At its heart, 'Feel Infinite' is a world of music connected to the utopian idea of club culture - music about the club, rather than specifically club music in and of itself. Written over the course of two years, this debut album is the purest, most personal expression of the Jacques Greene sound and emotion created by the born and raised Montreal artist, renowned for collaborating and remixing Tinashe, Radiohead, Sampha and Shlohmo.

This release sees Mark Archer raiding the Altern8 vaults to find previously unreleased material he produced in 1992 under his DJ Nex moniker, and pairing it with a new track he's written specially for the release. Limited to only 500 copies on vinyl - not available on any other format.

Biog: Mark Archer crashed into the UK charts in 1991 with Altern8's hardcore anthems Infiltrate 202 and Activ-8 (Come With Me). Since then he released further hits both in the clubs and in the charts (both as one half of Altern8 and in his later projects like Slo Moshun), put out a genuinely solid rave full-length in 'Full On... Mask Hysteria', masterminded some ridiculous press campaigns, and donned the now-iconic RAF chemical warfare suits and dust mask for Altern8's performances. Recently, Archer's music was back in the UK charts, hitting #33 off the back of a campaign to get Altern8's Activ-8 to Christmas number one. He's recently released on Balkan Vinyl and Substance Audio, headlined Moondance Festival this year, DJed at Bestival and other festivals, and sold out shows in the UK and abroad.

HYDRAFUNK is an exciting Detroit Techno inspired collaboration between Immigrant Records owner and label manager Robin Porter and US analogue synth guru Mike Carr. The duo first collaborated back in 2002 releasing the 'Mental Stealth EP' on Immigrant, featuring the bassline and synth heavy 'Fathernature', a track that found it's way on 'Evil' Eddie Richard's Fabric 16 mix CD and is currently being remixed for the upcoming 'Immigrant Icons' vinyl remix series by the scene's golden child - 'Subb-an.' Their debut three track EP, 'Beasts From Below', fuses the analogue aptitude of Mike Carr and Robin Porter's attention to sound frequency, arrangement detail and understanding of the dance floor, delivering an intoxicating peak time package of delight. The A1 track entitled 'Underworld' is a deep journey of melodic synth work and chugging groove that travels into dark territories, complimented by uplifting percussion that builds into a peak time beast from the deep. On the flip side, the B1 track entitled 'Immortal Melody' delves even further into moody territory delivering a tantalising array of dreamy synths and jackin' old school percussion, that submerges into an abyss of texture before rising up into a dance floor banger. The inside B2 cut entitled 'Hydra's Dance' is definitely not a token bonus track and is the most dance floor friendly cut, featuring Robin's knack for creating powerful basslines, unique vocals and Mike's ability to create depth and texture with his analogue synth programming. With another HYDRAFUNK EP almost at the pressing plant and an 'Immigrant Icon's remix EP underway, the duo will be leading the charge to push Immigrant back into the Techno and House limelight in 2016 and beyond with their underworld funk.

We are back - bringing that raw and funky Garage vibe to vinyl & kicking off our artist series with a selection of original Underground Garage artists from back in the day - so who better to start off such a release with no other than an innovator of that scene and mastermind behind those Tuff Jam beats, Mr Karl "Tuff Enuff" Brown.

The A-Side or ( Tuff side) contains an unreleased special version of his infamous Intro's which has been sought after since the late 90s. For the second track, Karl Brown created a heavy, funky anthem called "So Good . The B-Side or ( Jamz side) will also consist of two tracks from Dub Jamz to celebrate the old Garage vibe, bringing back a sound we all love. 

This release cements everything we stand for with our label, simply Underground Garage - bringing back all the memories to the oldskool lovers of this sound as well as teaching the younger generation the roots of this Garage genre.

Semtek returns with his first 12" since 2012, when he released work on World Unknown among other labels. The Cambridge-born (Bristol-based) producer has been hard at work on his own label Don't Be Afraid, developing talent including Mr Beatnick and MGUN. This is nothing but two complementary tracks for the dancefloor, inspired by bleep 'n' bass, jungle and two-step. Early DJ support comes from Jon K and Ben UFO.

With his first release over 20 years ago and a discography than bears the hallmarks of over 20 labels, Rick Wade needs no introduction to the discerning house fan. Growing up just outside Chicago before moving to Detroit in his late teens, Rick has, and continues to, live and breathe the spirit of house and to this day remains ever relevant in a scene he has helped shaped, without ever compromising his vision.

Making his debut on MN2S, Rick serves up typically classy house section opening with 'Goon Hand', a piano laden cut with a funky flair.

As its name suggests, 'Sacred Jazzomety' explores a muted jazz-house aesthetic with great prowess, whilst 'Mysterio', with its hazy remit, broods an air of late night, smoky intelligence.

A collection of bizarre avant-garde garage-rock, recorded by El'Blaszczyk in the early '90s, together with his 10 year old sister and his neighbour. Chicago native Lee Pearson Jr. has participated in musical offerings over many years in the capacities of DJ, Lyricist, Vocalist and Producer. Chicago talents Aki Dawson and K LaDawn provide soulful vocal stylings and longtime collaborator lyricist Erwin "Mac" McEwen are among the contributors to this creative effort along with Masatoshi Chiba of Sendai, Japan providing his interpretation of "Love's A Secret Place" and Larry Heard composing music for the 2 included selections. Lee and Erwin are also the team that penned the lyrics to "On A Corner Called Jazz" for the Mr. Fingers "Introduction" album back in 1992. Late Night Running Presents: 'Run Harder Vol.1'

Run Harder Vol.1 is the first installment in the Run Harder series. A various artists concept that will represent different cities across the globe.
The first effort is a trans-atlantic affair. Two great American metropoles and two European cities are connected through a slice of black gold.
New York based 'Kareem Ali' kicks off the A side with his Jazzy summer theme called 'Gold' which consists of a melancholic Trumpet solo that smoothly blends in with some deep textures.
Chicagoan 'Kamaho Adisa' (A2) shows that the american mid-west is still the place to look when one is in need of boundary pushing futuristic sounds. His 'No Sun' effort might best be described as an accidental get together of Sun Ra, D'Angelo, Ghostpoet and Theo Parrish.
Label Head-Honcho's 25 Places take the listener on a submerged voyage with their B1 theme 'Human Nature'.
Whilst both of them have been in and out of Rotterdam on several occasions, they still represent their native hometown
like always. For the B2 - Edinburgh Based 'Rai Scott' takes it even deeper with his percussion laden 'Walking Home'
which closes down this intercity travel quite nicely.

Next Paragram release is the debut EP from the Romanian based Marcman.

Marcman's tracks are always a mixture between dancefloor moovers including groovy rhythms and big baselines. After his remix on the past release, in his Paragram debut EP he presents himself in all his stylistic bandwidth. 'Dici' combines a super bass pumping tool that make you move even in in the most remote corner of the club, while 'Arficeva' and 'Rigid' gives priority to the hypnotic effect of the groove combined with mighty dub chords.

anyone who followed the development of house music made in the usa in the last decade will certainly have met the art of fred peterkin aka fred p aka black jazz consortium.
since a while the new york city native that is working on his very own music for almost 20 years is on everyone's lips as he is releasing some of the gentlest soul infiltrated four-to-the-floor house creations you can get.

his musical set phrase isn't new or special as he is often simply melting shuffling percussions with elementary melodies. but he does it in a sense that the heavy used and abused phrase 'deepness' finally gets a fresh truthfully new meaning.

as a man who danced in his younger years in legendary nyc clubs like the red zone, sound factory or tunnel to dj sets of larger-than-life selectors like david morales, frankie knuckles or danny tenaglia, he learned that sometimes less is more. and that he should rather listen to his heart and soul, then to the susurrus of the music market.

that is why you can call his house music journey music, music to travel. sometimes it is an introspective and meditative journey sometimes an inspirational and lively one. it always stays visionary while using simple codes to transform his inner voice into rhythms and melodies.

most of the eps and albums that he produced as fred p or black jazz consortium have been released via his very own label soul people music, which exists since ten years. as fred p he also dropped 12inches on jus-ed's underground quality imprint as well as on toshiya kawasaki's mule music label.

for the latter he now produced an album under the moniker of fp-oner that is listening to simply title '5'. why it does so the man from nyc borough queens explains in the liner notes by himself. it is the start of a new trilogy that will lean more to the jazzier, relaxed and atmospherically side of his artistically deep house expressions.

as he adapts more from influences than technique, the album partly reminds of great smooth and exhilarating house moments from the past while heading straight into future. like always in fred p's large œuvre all tracks are rooted in honesty and no chord, no groove, no tone is superficial.

Label boss, Cozzy D, steps up with his latest offering, unleashing a couple of analogue-based beasts, together with a sterling remix from Portuguese assassin Trikk.

Cozzy is a long-serving member of London's electronic music scene, starting out as a Garage DJ in the late nineties, before he became involved with the highly fertile east London underground. It was during this heady period that he met Lee Brinx and started Lower East. Cozzy's style is a fusion of rugged house music, spliced with deeper elements and soulful nuances - and a firm focus on the dancefloor.

This new single sets out his stall for 2014 perfectly, with lead track '4D' encapsulating that hard yet emotive sound he's been cultivating over the years. Expertly chopping in a vocal that will be familiar to many dance music fans, Cozzy layers intense strings over a stomping set of percussion and an equally tough analogue bassline. Way down in the bottom a layer of sub bass adds a final level of depth.

'D&H' takes us into the melancholy zone with its droning bassline and tension building high strings. It's a haunting affair all round, and once those synth stabs pop up in the second half of the track you'll be hard pushed not to feel a wave of emotion wash over you.

Last up Trikk steps in with a killer remix in his trademark retro-leaning style, channelling warehouse vibes circa 1992. He ups the ante slightly with shuffling percussion, thunderous sub bass and various throwback effects that give it a bit of an old-school drum 'n' bass feel.

Featuring CHARLOTTE LE ROUGE on vocals this is a haunting Balearic song with sparse, but tense beats. The COSMIC METAL MOTHER remix adds some sax and takes the track down to lower Manhattan with a LOUNGE LIZARDS vibe. B/w a remix by label head DENNIS KANE that brings the party vibe.

For the first in our series of limited Black Label releases, and the result of ever-increasing demand, we bring you a special edition reissue of Wen's Swingin'.  Accompanied by a stone cold remix from Facta on the flip and pressed on violet translucent 12' vinyl.

Founded way back in 91, Z Records have since amassed a lauded and plentiful collection of singles, albums and compilations. Run by Dave Lee aka Joey Negro, the label has enjoyed success through his unique ability to foster the principles of underground dance music whilst also remaining mindful of commercial appeal.

Through various compilations, Mr Lee has consistently delved deep into the heart of a specific genre or era and selecting a lesser-known series of tracks that give a real insight into the spirit and energy that made that point in time special. Whether it's been GoGo, Brit Funk, Boogie, Italo house or straight up Disco, he has mined deep into his extensive bank of influences and also enlisted the help of some of his most clued-up comrades in offering some unforgettable collections of classics. Next up - he pulls together a collection of his favourite moments across a definitive decade for House and Garage: the 90's. Inclusive of material from Kerri Chandler, Robert Owens and MAW as well as remixes from Mood II Swing and Ron Trent - the compilation is packed with sultry vocal lines and the sort of slick, irresistible grooves that defined the era. Sticking with the ethos of his series, Joey Negro has dug out an olio of music that may have until now 'slipped under the garage doors' meaning a lot of the material on this compilation is being digitised for the very first time. In searching deeper and wider than the average compilation, the package provides a thorough insight into why this was such a fertile period for production and gives a nod to the sort of drum patterns, sampling techniques and vocal lines that have inspired the likes of Bicep, Brawther and Huxley amongst many more.

The one and only 1969 three day-recorded/1970 released debut LP by this outstanding band, brought to you in a 2015 reissue on the newly back-in-business Essex Records. A scandalously legendary, psych-revolutionary blues rocking longplayer among the rawer and more rocking records made in Latin America, ever. Including versions-excursions channeled through full on, beyond well-oiled (Stratocaster, double bass drums, Jazz Bass) instrumental prowess and exuberant, cataclysmic vocal front-womanhood.

Their classic debut LP features killer heavy fuzz guitars and is almost like a psychedelic Led Zeppelin with spacey female vocals.

The first 45rpm EP from the exotic rock'n'roll band the RHUM RUNNERS. The handmade heavy cardboard sleeve reminds of the golden '50s too.
