Toddla T's third full length project, Foreign Light perfectly showcases his progression and maturity as a producer, and will be released on Toddla's very own label, Steeze.
Running through the project are the supreme vocals of Andrea Martin, a vocalist who has worked with the likes of Toni Braxton, En Vogue, Angie Stone, Paloma Faith and even Naughty Boy. Not content with this powerful melodic story, Toddla has also enlisted the talents of Wiley, Stefflon Don, CasIsDead, Chilly Gonzales, and Coco, with executive production from Benji B.

The DJ/production duo from Munich back with four tracks full of bass-heavy excursions into hybrid forms of club music close to Grime, Dancehall, Dub, Techno and the yet unnamed territory in between - their natural habitat. Lead single and first track of the EP is Copper And Lead, which features "London city warlord" Riko Dan of Roll Deep fame, spitting dangerous lyrics on a Bashment/Grimeriddim.Following this is Blurred Vision, low end monster named after their gigantic soundsystem event series, exploring the middle ground between Dub and the technoleaning 4x4 universe. Up next is Killer, a song with Warrior Queen from Jamaica, who prepares for a Dancehall dub war on a 808-heavy beat straight from Miami...err, Munich.Topping the EP off is Siren Riddim, an instrumental uptempo bomb for the apocalypse club gang and all the gunfinger crew. It's the first EP in a series of three, leading up to an Haul & Pull Up album in early 2017. With this, Schlachthofbronx will follow up their three previous original albums (2009s Schlachthofbronx, 2012s Dirty Dancing and 2014s Rave And Romance), completed by EPs for Labels like Mixpak, Monkeytown, Mad Decent, Disko B and Man Recordings as well as production work for artists like M.I.A., Snoop Dogg, Major Lazer or Bonde Do Role.

Dub-Stuy links Bukkha with UK grime stalwart Killa P for a dark, sound killing anthem.
Dub-Stuy expands on their vision for 21st century sound system music with a new 12' that brings together resident producer Bukkha and one of grime's most recognisable voices, Killa P . The result is a deadly cut that takes no prisoners and is backed by an equally heavy instrumental.
'Death Chat' is arguably one of Dub-Stuy's most ambitious collaborations to date. Bukkha crafts a dub meets grime riddim that builds from filtered keys into a ten-ton heavy monster. Killa P, who has collaborated with The Bug and is fresh from a turn on Sir Spyro's 'Topper Top', delivers cutting lyrics in his instantly recognizable patois-inflected style, with each bar building tension toward a sonic climax.
Backing up this dancefloor sureshot is 'Ethiopian Dub', an instrumental that samples its vocal and melodic hook from an obscure dubplate and whirls both around a steady beat and bass line solid enough to punch through walls.
With this latest 12' for Dub-Stuy, Bukkha shows his versatility and delivers an anthem that no sound can test..

Coyote Records introduce Forever to their fold with a lush EP at the borderlands of vaporwave, grime and trap
Having first linked up with London-based Coyote Records in early 2015, Grade 10's Forever returns to the label proper for his first full EP project, 'Hymn'. A record written over an extended period of time — the title-track, one of Forever's most recognisable, was produced during his college years in Leicester — 'Hymn' explores the myriad sounds, layers and textures that have come to define his music. It was his remix of Last Japan's 'Harca', released via Coyote's white label series in January 2015, that first welcomed him into a tight-knit community of affiliated producers, even playing the label's third birthday in London later that year. Boosted by the formation of Leicester-based label and collective, Grade 10 — for whom he remains a key creative figure alongside Prayer, Loosewomen etc — a little later in the year, Forever then went onto release his debut EP, 'Coarse', in July 2016. While 'Coarse' dealt in contrasting rare grooves and tones, 'Hymn' hones in on the sounds that have checked his growth and development as a producer. The delicate, slow-burning cinema of widescreen opener 'Gweilo', the shadowy eeriness of 'Hymn' and the crunchy, industrial club heat of 'Swamped' each point to different reference points, but all feel interlinked by Forever's grip on atmosphere and tone. Coyote label mate, Chemist — also one third of Planet Mu trio, Silk Road Assassins — also turns in a booming edit of 'Hymn', complete with re-booted, icy melodies that fire off like shards of glass, and rude, 808 patterns that nod to his work with SRA.

- Something Special - Marina P & Twm
- One Of A Kind - Marina P & Stand High Patrol
- Something Roots - Marina P & Homeys
- Something Dub - Homeys
Homeys Records new release, Something new', features the first collaboration between Marina P and the upcoming french producer KSD. Once the original track was completed, the vocals were given to three other producers close to the italian singer for remixing. Stand High Patrol's version offers a jazzy take on the track with unexpected footwork influences. TWM, for his very first release, presents a steppers version made for the soundsystem. Homeys brings a roots reggae touch with a flute part that leads the theme. These producers' three different remixes perfectly represent the musical universe of Marina P.

Electronic music producer and DJ Greg Sanders AKA Distance returns with his third long player 'Dynamis', set for release through Tectonic Recordings on 21st October.
* Alongside recording 'Dynamis' over the past four years, Distance has been writing and producing for other artists including Riz MC, Jeb Loy Nichols and Jon More of Coldcut. Working with these artists helped open his mind to other styles of music and led to him veering away from his 140bpm roots. The productions of A$AP Ferg, Drake, Schoolboy Q and earlier Arca and FKA Twigs were a big influence, alongside the soundtracks of Hans Zimmer and Cliff Martinez.
* "I get inspiration from everywhere and deliberately try to ignore what is happening in the scene I'm most involved in. 'Dynamis' is influenced a lot by film scores, I have geeked out massively to create great dynamics in all of the tracks, sounds are heavily automated and processed to really give the music life."
* Even the structure of the tracks ditches the typical DJ friendly layouts and is programmed in an order that best helps to deliver the story. Some of the tracks give a subtle nod to this way of thinking - 'Sink or Swim', 'Paradigm', 'Instruction to Survive'.
* "I wanted to portray my willingness to progress and that I totally embrace the positives and negatives of change. If you stay stationary within any artform you will surely fail. I named a track "Fear Change" because most people would rather do anything other than change."
* As producer, DJ and label owner of Chestplate Records, Distance has been instigating change in music since emerging in 2003. Gathering early support from the legendary John Peel and going on to be part of the utterly seminal Dubstep Warz show on Radio 1 presented by Mary Anne Hobbs, he was a regular at seminal raves FWD, DMZ, Exodus and SUB:DUB and hosted on Rinse FM 2003-2012. With 12" releases on Tectonic and Hotflush; his first two albums 'My Demons' (2007) and 'Repercussions' (2008) were released through the respected label Planet Mu.
* "I feel very privileged to have released two albums on Planet Mu and they are still referenced by many as key albums in dubstep's history. Tectonic has been releasing my music for almost a decade, so it felt right me producing an album for the label. Pinch is a good friend and one of the few people who's opinion I trust."
* 'Dynamis' is the first Distance album to feature vocalists; helping to portray emotions, tell a story and aid the overall narrative of the album.
* "It was great recording them. When recording 'Badman' with Killa P I got him to stand as far away from the mic as possible and shout the lyric across the studio, as though he was shouting at someone across the street. We were cracking up at the time. I then used these recordings to create multiple layers and textures to his vocal, this gave the impression of there being a huge crowd of people chanting the chorus. Beezy was also a great artist to work with. We were done recording in about 20 minutes, he's so professional and knows exactly how to deliver the vocals the way I need them."
* The album's title is an ancient word: the original Greek meaning "heart, drive, power" and in English "the state of that which is not yet fully realized".
* "I always want my music to take you somewhere. Because I am experimenting more in sound design and tempo, I thought 'Dynamis' was perfect. In a sense I was trying to create something new. At the beginning of the process it hadn't yet been realised. Maybe only once it has been released and heard by the public it will be."

Yally is a new project from Raime, who inaugurate a new series of one-sided releases from Boomkat Editions which will run over the next few months. It features two scudding, killer steppers productions from Raime's expert bladesmen, Joe Andrews and Tom Halstead on a rare away-day from Blackest Ever Black.
With a deep blue, skunked-out appeal right on the lip of late '90s garage and early '00s grime, London's dankest duo compound, reflect and relieve the choking intensity of their recent 2nd
album Tooth on the paranoid bruiser Burnt and its dread inversion Sudo, making up their most 'floor-dedicated session in more than five years of operations.
Drawn from muscle memory of 2-step's transition from champagne-soaked knees-up into paradoxically dense but spacious, stoned and impending sound designs, they form a sort of coming-to-terms with that epoch's innovations in much the same way that their Moin release firmly grappled with inextinguishable influence from the studio genius of Steve Albini and This Heat.
Burnt pins us by the windpipe with Stanley shanked hi-hats and ratty claps whilst cavernous,
amorphous subs bruise flesh and dislocated yelps of pleasure/pain break thru rictus jaws. Think
El-B or Hatcha echoing out of a graveyard slot on pirate radio circa '03.
With Sudo they pronate on the tightest, simmering halfstep; harnessing illicitly overloaded,
vintage Air Max PSI allowance with shoulder rolling organ motif and nerve-tying ligature, perhaps imagining the pre-echoes of earliest Hyperdub or a Black Ops joint that even Jon E Cash was too shook to issue.
Boomkat Editions began life in 2012 as an occasional series of diverse releases pressed up in limited runs and not tied down to any particular genre. Coming into the label's fifth year, and Boomkat's 19th year of selling independent records, the BK12X12 series will host a series of what we consider to be crucial platters from our favourite artists; producers and musicians who have defined, expanded and soundtracked modern musical spheres beyond the mainstream.

* After storming the gates with his warmly received 'Tambacounda EP', Clap! Clap! returns to Black Acre to deliver his debut longplayer. 'Tayi Bebba' is a conceptual work that manages to balance a highly cerebral concept with making some good old-fashioned bangers. 'Tayi Bebba' is an album tour of an imagined island; each song representing a location, event or ritual. Sonically, it's a fast moving charge across the soundscape, fusing field recordings and found sound with incredibly surgical drum programming. Flavours of House, Footwork and Hip Hop punctuate your migration with a very specific sound palate, giving this amazing work a cohesive feel.
* About Clap Clap:
Clap! Clap!, aka Cristiano Crisci, is an internationally acclaimed producer and performer. One of Italy's brightest new talents, Clap! Clap! brings together disparate inspirations and styles onto the dancefloor of his mind. His music has been supported by Gilles Peterson and featured in GTA V, Boiler Room, Ninja Tune's Solid Steel mix series, and the FABRIC mix CD series. He has performed his energetic live shows across Europe and Japan and produced for Paul Simon.
* Clap! Clap!'s music is a unique blend of global dance and timeless sounds drawing from nature, traditional music, field recordings and the electronic savvy of modern centres like Chicago and London. At its core is the inspiration of everyday life, what Crisci calls 'the search for new flavours.' This approach anchors Clap! Clap!'s debut album, 2014's 'Tayi Bebba', the soundtrack to a tour of an imaginary island. Paul Simon discovered the album through his son, calling it 'a masterpiece' and leading him to approach Crisci for help with his latest album, 2016's 'Stranger To Stranger'.

* FSTZ and Orko Eloheim re-launch to the outerverse with four tracks of bass, grime, and half-time drum and bass, lyrically spat out to drag you deeper, targeting hipster rappers, and everything that is fake underground.
01 - "Instigate" (Ambient, Intro tune)
A slow psychedelic intro tune featuring the first lyrical salvo from Orko. The beat is composed of clanging cymbals and break beats over sweeping basses that pitch up and down.
02 - "Crusaders Revenge" (Bass Music, Hip hop, Half-time dnb)
Dark and hard hitting is the best way to describe this track. Edgy lyrics over growling bass... the sound, the effects and the verse drag you deeper into the mind of the lyricist. Lands in the world of Amon Tobin, Alt-hip hop, Bass Music, etc...
03 - "Reptile Stepchild" (Bass Music, Hip hop, Half-time dnb)
This tune is dark but uplifting, funny but serious. Main elements are pulsating bass over forward-moving beats laced with Latin-like percussion. Repetition plays a large role in the structure, taunting the simplicity of modern hiphop world while making the most of the intended minimalism. Orko Eloheim's lyrics target the hipster rappers who snort their drugs off the phones they write their rhymes on.
04 - "Soundwave Killah" (Breakstep, jungle, grime)
Emphasis is on the dance floor on this club-ready tune. Intricate break work and square wave bass lines overload the soundsystem into a crescendo before the deep sweeping sub bass lines in the drop. Minimal vocals, big beats, big bass, big switch-ups.to a crescendo before the deep sweeping sub bass lines in the drop. Minimal vocals, big beats, big bass, big switch-ups.

Since their last release (Plata's 'Kru' EP CRWL001), London based Circadian Rhythms has evolved into a concept label - a collaboration between NTS radio grime favourites Last Japan & Blackwax, fashion designer William Green, artist Dylan Tushar and designer Jase Coop. The collective challenges our understanding of what makes a record label by exploring music through the creation of physical and non-physical objects. Each musical output is to have its own specific collection of clothing, alongside artwork, video and mini site. As a result it's more than a record / clothing label, but a creative collective whose different interpretations of a single theme are executed under the same umbrella. The first artist to collaborate with the label in its new format is Toasty, who has been drawn out of his hiatus (amidst growing demand) with the brilliant 'Metal' EP. Often described as one of the most important producers of the Dubstep era, Toasty's warped basslines, breaks and hard hitting snares predicted a lot of music to come. With past releases on Scuba's Hotflush - amongst many others, this is a welcomed return from the mysterious and celebrated producer.

Hear Other Sounds returns with a collaborative EP from their collective of artists. The EP is the first physical release from the South London imprint since the label was established in 2012. Over four years in the planning, the record showcases the range of styles that have since become synonymous with the label. Scalade and Nights collaborate on 'Stasis', pushing the wave sound with their dark but melodic offering. It combines a haunting depth of synth work with intricate levels of percussion. Second on the A-side is Seattle native Charlux, bringing his cross-Atlantic approach to Grime. The crisp contribution, 'Chanel Handbag', is a sharpened piece of work which manages to be deep and cavernous whilst full of upfront energy. Fresh Paul comes with the first track on the B-side, Janet Again'. The Scottish artist's sample use induces memories of the darker forays into 90's hip-hop and gives the project a raw edge. South coast producer, J-One finishes off the release with a trademark two-step rhythm, well thought out synths and an intelligent melody.
