Numa Crew and the ’London City Warlord’ Riko Dan join forces on this dancefloor banger called ‘Babylon’.

When it comes to the influence of Ragga in the MCing styles of Grime, one of the undisputed pioneers is Riko Dan - most famously associated with Roll Deep, one of the most important collectives in the history of Grime.

The original track is an explosive mix of Grime and Dubstep sounds spiced with a Dancehall flavor that gives Riko the perfect platform to spin raw and punching lyrics.

The flip side is a remake of the original ‘Babylon’ in a pure Dub stepper style, heavyweight bassline, hypnotic skanks and mystical atmospheres that fuse the two worlds of Grime and Dub in a unique sound. Certified sound system material.

Drawing on experience from decades of DJing, musical production, sound engineering and intergalactic excursions, RDG has thoroughly matured his undeniable skill of orbiting and perfectly blending the dimensions of jungle, dubstep, techno, DnB, experimental, leftfield and downtempo music into a coherent and captivating sonic journey.

Following more than 25 EP releases over the past 10 years, "Planetary Sound Fiction" is by far RDG's most exhaustive work to date and presents a sound, encompassing anything else released by the Danish producer so far.

DVA's new album 'NOTU_URONLINEU' marks a strong and brave turning point for his music. Made with the (Hi:Emotions) moniker that DVA has used for a number of remixes in the past, 'NOTU_URONLINEU' is very different from what you might know him for, both in its darkness and its abstract ambitions, but the detail and quality of the music is primed to win over new fans. The rhythmic brilliance and use of space that have given his dance floor recordings their distinct character have mutated and undergone re-assembly into deeper and darker shades. A more pronounced 'off grid', improvised character has seeped in, lending the record a looser feel to previous work, as if intuition guides it rather than club practicalities.The album was made under some new self-imposed conditions, of the recording process, DVA says 'I realised before making this album I was most happy when listening to music in the dark like I did when I was at school. So I decided to record the whole album in the dark too'. Along with this, the album hints at themes of online alienation, confusion, control and domination, and is peppered with hints of faux-therapeutic advertising and psychotic jingles - a reflection of the stress of online life. Of the themes, DVA says 'The album project comes from a short visual story set in a time where a mega corporation named H:E / Hi:Emotions is slowly taking control of everything, and planning to eventually make all people live life under one brand in virtual reality. 'NOTU_URONLINEU' puts you at the start of that journey.

The enigmatic DJ Swagger is back on TYR, this time with five garage inspired rollers. From Bristol to Berlin, these tracks cover a lot of ground. Each copy will come with a signed sticker from the man himself.

2012 saw New Zealand’s Epoch release works on his own label Egyptian Avenue with UK producer Wen.

Since then, looking back through his impressive discography, revisiting solo 12s, compilation releases and his 2016 album ‘Badminded’ it’s a definite clear-cut thought to acknowledge Epoch has held artistry status to his craft.

His craft being, producing somewhat twisted, hip-hop and grime pervaded, sound system- driven, low end focused UK inspired club music.

For the first release of the new decade we are honoured to introduce LA-based Oxóssi who has conjured a captivatingly sinister sonic palette for his debut EP on the label.

Sama
A scorching 8-bar intro catapults us straight into 'Sama', the first track of the release, where abandoned-jungle-ruins atmospheres meet threatening wooden flutes and weighty wobs - Oxóssi is not messing about. The narration proceeds with a melody sung by a penetrating laser-beam-like synth, which adds a space layer to this organic banger, getting more and more detuned throughout the track while kickstarting a call-and-answer march between the flute and synth-wob melodies. Don't expect to uncover the secrets of 'Sama' at a first listen, this intricate creation will keep revealing itself listen after listen.

Saut Dans Le Vide
An alluring pad harmony and a hidden inspirational message from the artist introduce the fascinatingly titled 'Saut Dans Le Vide', a masterful arrangement of unrelenting piano chords, subtle choir stabs, dreamy flute leads and compellingly staggering drums. Elements keep artfully alternating throughout this convoluted composition which arouses a pensive, melancholy-nuanced hopefulness.

Undead
It's time to get glitchy here, as 'Undead' makes its entrance. Shimmering melodies rain down in a glittery shower of eerie purple confetti, surrounded by rattling white noise strikes and playful-yet-mighty bass hits. As the story evolves, an 8-bit synth lead briefly takes us to a post-apocalyptic landscape before we momentarily wake up from this psychedelic daydream, just in time to take a breath and dive back in for round two.
