Other People is excited to announce Solpara's Swing EP, the debut solo release by New York born and based artist Paul Sara. Paul recently returned to his New York base after spending five years in Montreal studying, working, and composing. There, he co-founded Booma Collective with Oren Ratowsky and Valentin Stip, a local group of musicians and sound artists, as well as a music label. Swing is a sort of summation of Paul's time in Montreal and his first full solo release outside of Booma. For Paul, Swing is movement, sound, and hypnosis. That fine, affective modulation, as present in a drum machine or a drummer's hand, plays a role. But so too does Paul's memory of winter sessions in Booma's studio (ironically named 'The Furnace'), where he and his friends had to swing their bodies back and forth to keep warm. The five tracks on Swing evoke warmth within cold, cavernous spaces. 'Descent' begins the EP with a one synth panning and undulating quietly left and right before the drop of a gentle, knowing beat. Next, 'Swing' bursts open with a tremendous kick looming over tumultuous layers of bass frequency filigreed by glowing chords. The gruff, calloused percussion of 'Vitamin C' sounds like its rattling inside the case of a grenade. And 'Short Circuit,' the longest track here and an awesome demonstration of polyrhythmic capacity, doubles as jagged sound sculpture. 'Seahorses' ends the EPlike it began — a single synth swaying to and fro.

House Is OK's seventh instalment goes Kraut with a three tracker from Chris Beiswenger formally known as TCB (The Citizen's Band). Since the split up of Arto Mwambe, Chris has been slowly building a sound of his own. Instead of sticking to standard templates he has gone deep into modular synthesis and his music can be described as futuristic, kindred and cerebral.
Labels such as Live At Robert Johnson, Tasteful Nudes and Story already recognised TCB's unique twist and Rather Happy Songs' is just another proof of his unquestionable quality. These three mid-tempo techno ballads will get your mind moving and spirit floating while your body will fall in instant trance dancing to these highly hypnotising pieces. If John Daly returns to his own One Track Records it means business. His lush techno style (rooted in early 90's Detroit techno) meets balearic vibes resulting in a true deep house excursion that comes in 3 versions! Recommended!

The trained pianist Max Loderbauer, together with Ricardo Villalobos, has just breezily launched the jazz sanctuary of the Munich-based ECM records into the ether as "Re: ECM". On the new adventure he now logically again finds himself working with sanctuaries. For the tool he uses for creating worlds is the finest modular synthesizer in the world, the Buchla 200e.
In the glow of this altar-like cockpit, he welcomes the two inspired Swiss musicians, clarinettist Claudio Puntin (also mini-mallets and electronics) and percussionist Samuel Rohrer (also Kaoss pad and other electronics), both of whom have published their own as well as co-operative productions on ECM. With ambiq, they are now exploring remote musical universes on Rohrer's innovative arjunamusic label, with the aim of opening doors of perception to the electronic scene by means of enhanced possibilities of instrumental interaction.

With their second longplayer Meanderlust, Randweg undertake a trip along melodic fields and rhythmic turns. The songs sound self-willed yet catchy: they are feel-good-music with an experimental core. With unusual instrumentation (clarinet, guitar, bass, cajon, computers) and unique style, Randweg treads a previously untrodden path: A detailed one, sensitive, gentle and scratchy, one that you would like to go more often now.' The duo breaks with any expectations one could have given the instruments collected here, and the clarinet playing has nothing to do with the usual clichés one may associate with this in itself innocent and lovable instrument. On the contrary, its sounds remind us a lot more of our well-loved vintage analog synthesizers. (Groove) Andreas Ernst plays the clarinet since he was 12 years old. The way he puts his instrument to use is exceptional: the clarinet serves more as a natural oscillator, whose vibrations are alienated with effects and transferred to a different world of sound. A woodwind instrument as a controller for soundtransducers, filters and delay. Andreas distinctive playing style can also be found in tracks by Ripperton, Ellen Allien and Der Dritte Raum. David Baurmann forms the musical counterpart on bass and guitar and enriches Randwegs electronic beats with cajon. Firmly anchored in Aachen's electronic music scene as a DJ, here he is a multi-instrumentalist, to whom the duo owes their peculiar band-like sound. It's a stroke of luck the two met 2007 in Berlin. Together they are Randweg. The reimplementation of the pieces on their debut album Equisetales (2013) aroused Andi and Davids appetite to perform live.

Luneworks was created during a period of personal upheaval for Colleran, who headed out to a friend's tiny spare room in L.A with just a laptop and a few changes of clothes. What ensued was an intense month of twelve hour night-time writing and recording sessions, where Jack sought to isolate himself in order to keep the songs as pure as possible. The quietness of the city at night was a real inspiration, and the constraints of an alien environment proved something of a liberation. The ancestral, ethereal spirit of Ireland is also present throughout Luneworks. Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine), one of Dublin's most famous sonic outliers, is a noted influence - another musician who has wrung sweet emotion out of chaotic noise. The result is Luneworks, a fully immersive head-trip, a record that is at times brutal and at others unbearably beautiful, sometimes in the overlap of a single track. Delsin present a new EP by B12 aka Steve Rutter entitled Orbiting Souls, a name which comes from the fact the veteran artist has recently spent contemplating the loss of a friend and believes we are surrounded by lost souls and spirits. This is B12's second EP this year following on from the Bokide 325 release on Soma Records and comes years after still acclaimed album like Electro-Soma and TimeTourist on Warp Records back in the 90s. Orbiting Souls is a somewhat complex journey, a representation of inner Bi Polar opposites; isolation; sadness, but also acknowledging the great and wonderful things around that swirl and support and energise us. A perfectly formed sound world that is both absorbing and cerebral and comes with a full colour sleeve by Boris Tellegen.

THE EYES is the meeting of three musicians whose culture and listenings are spread through the twenty years among their respective ages.
All tracks are improvised. Improvisation is valued for its expressive potential, often rough, always genuine and effective. It allows to imagine obscure and manifold worlds and to make them real through a non evident and never fully disclosed complexity.

The intention behind this album was to open doors and windows to fortuities and mistakes as we think true identity can be generated by their acceptation and genuine imperfection.

THE EYES is just the sight on a world seen through curious eyes.

'On the conceptual point of view, we wanted to give value to the materic content contained in our music.
We were interested in going deep in the process which is behind sounds generated by self made instruments played in real time and through improvisation.

'The Eyes' has originated by a two days fully improvised studio session which created thirty tracks for a total of eight hours of music.
The week following the recording sessions we've been working on the album concept, defining its feeling and message.

The following editing has brought us to 10 different tracks for 60 minutes total time. On this result we've been developing the electronic production and sound templates.
Before the mixing sessions we've observed a two weeks break for the work, gaining the useful distance from it.

Mixing went through 5 days, spent on a Solid State Logic G Series analog desk, all tracks were bounced to 2 inches tape machine on two tracks
Ritmo&Blu is a great studio for mixing, its rich assortment of analogue outboard has allowed the songs to gain a psychedelic and circular portamento and mood.

At the end of the mixing sessions we've realized 10 tracks were just too many.
Our interest was not to reach a certain length in time, we were aiming it to have a sense from start to end. We wanted it to offer the listener the chance of being brought through a journey into which let himself go.
We thought that taking four tracks out of the original tracking list could help us on this.
Once the album identity was clear for all of us, we've mastered it to tape through analogue outboard.

With their new album entitled Trembling Air, Hungarian electroacoustic duo 12z (onetwozed) present an eclectic palette of intricate, improvisatory tone poems. This is the first of two upcoming full-lengths with the label and the second,Trembling Air, will follow in just a few months. As pure improvisors, Bálint Szabó and Márton Kristóf have constructed a substantial body of work, including film scores, studio recordings, and a significant archive of 12z (sessionz) — weekly improvised jams with a shifting cast of collaborators. These (sessionz) were compiled into a self-released podcast which followed their self-titled debut on Hungarian label Farbwechsel. All this is not even to mention their live work, which is at the foundation of 12z's craft and artistry. With Bálint on guitar, Márton on electronics, and guest member Áron Porteleki often joining on drums, they fluctuate between jagged rhythmic passages, floating moments of harmonic tension, and any other form that emerges, always chiseling structure from the chaos. Trembling Air marks another direction in 12z's work, being their first entirely electronic recording. The album was sparked by György Pálfi's film Free Fall, for which it was recorded as a potential score, but it stands strong independently, conjuring its own strange images.

Ambient techno exponent, A Sagittariun, fires off another full-length album transmission this April on his own Elastic Dreams label. 'Elasticity' is the Bristol based artist's second long player, and the follow up to his acclaimed 2013 debut, 'Dream Ritual'. Having last released a trio of singles in early 2015 (for Hypercolour, Secret Sundaze and Elastic Dreams), 'Elasticity' marks a return for A Sagittariun, and fans of the slippery and elastic sounds that hallmarked his debut album will not be disappointed. 'Dream Ritual' helped firmly establish A Sagittariun as an artist whose musical chops and integrity operate largely outside of the mainstream and a producer who chooses to put the music firmly center stage, whilst opting to remain relatively anonymous within the music scene. A Sagittariun explains; 'Elasticity was recorded over quite a short period, but the sketches and ideas have been germinating for some time, so sonically it's very coherent and consistent and moves in a way that I personally like albums to move in, with a narrative and flow that holds you right to the end. The recipe for Elasticity was always to be malleable and pliable with the sounds and tempos; for me it's all about the listening experience, and creating a landscape and a world within that one can really get deep into and explore, it's optimistic and progressive music for the head, heart and feet. I really do advise the listener to don headphones and take the trip with me".

From Andrew Pekler: Typically, library music albums were not available to the general public but were marketed directly to film, TV and commercial production companies. Judging by the information provided on the record sleeves, these consumers of library music were assumed to have little interest in the identities of the individuals who actually wrote and played the music, the musicians' names often being relegated to the very small print. Instead, it appears that the functional aspects of the product were of foremost importance; the persistently generic names of the tracks and their descriptions, durations and suggestions for their usage are the ubiquitous features of library album packaging. At the same time, the name of the production studio itself is given the kind of front cover top-billing usually reserved for a performer or composer (or to brand names on boxes of corn flakes).

New Dawn Baba Stiltz hails from a tradition of funky outcasts centred around the calm yet unpredictable city of Stockholm, Sweden. Since his infant days he's been guided through the nitty-gritty basics of what it is to be a true music lover by some of the city's most prolific artists, producers and djs. Despite his youth, 20-year-old Baba boasts an impressive discography, with two albums of dreamy folk-pop (as The Betlehem Beard Corporation) and a string of hit singles within the elusive Skweee scene already under his belt. His more recent studio adventures have led to three 12' releases on Stockholm dance label Studio Barnhus as well as recurring production work for post-rap phenomenon Yung Lean. Total is Baba's debut album under his own name and his finest work to date. From the opening machine-funk arpeggio of Missing to the sanguine melancholia of closing hiphop beat Discovery - New Dawn, Baba's masterpiece rides through psychedelic screw-pop, minimalistic emo-acid and opiate-drenched coming-of-age-ambient.

Michael Silver is CFCF, a man with a gift for a melody. He continually delivers timeless music as aptly illustrated in his debut release for International Feel, 'On Vacation'.

CFCF is a Montreal native who has been making music since he was 12 years old. Pitchfork have previously described his work as "a strong case for how much unexpected magic can be found in the ordinary and another excellent chapter in CFCF's story."

The second in International Feel's minialbum series, 'On Vacation', is an album inspired by places and spaces some imaginary, some real. The keen sense of melody allows CFCF to switch genres thoughout this release and shows him in clear analogue organic territory. "It's really gentle and lowkey and I hope that people will not take it too seriously,' explains Silver, 'It's a kind of jazzy affair."

'Sate Padang' is the album opener. A mystic little track, the likes you'd be happy to find in a dusty Japanese record store. It timelessly sets the scene. A mixture of digital and organic sounds perfectly held together by tight melodies and lush sounds. 'Arto' swiftly follows and pays homage to one of the great Japanese composers Seigen Ono. Acoustic guitar and piano play harmoniously alongside a conga beat and sumptuous accordion, it transports you to an imaginary place within. An ambient piece, 'In The Courtyard' follows, with 'Pleasure Centre' closing the A side and showing Silver's love of that under appreciated side of the 80s synth sound.

The B side opens with the stunning 'Chasing ' where acoustic instrumentation swoops in for a beautiful run through a flowing melody. A track that makes us want to hit rewind and play again instantly. 'Fleur Laisses Dans Un Taxi ' gives a nod to Paris in the Spring, 'Lighthouse On Chatham Sound' to a late afternoon setting by the sea and the album closes with 'Vermont', a contemplative piece that considers a future journey.

This album shows Silver in full stride and hitting somewhere pretty special. An artist open to music and melody and not hindered by genre or time and space. A cliche Yes maybe... But listen and you'll see exactly what we mean.

We warmly welcome back Kettel who makes his return to Clone/DUB records since his debut Cenny Crush 15 years ago (which was followed by the brilliant Whisper Me Wishes in 2007). After a hiatus of 3 years since his last release Kettel is releasing his new album on Clone Records. The talented musician has been busy with producing music for computer games and commercials, but is now offering a fine selection of pieces he has made in the last couple years with this full length in mind. The result is a playful, inspiring, eclectic, delicate, melodic, well-balanced and brilliantly produced album fuzzing elements of electronica, classical music, jazz and techno stirred into flawless, memorable compositions. As a 90's kid Kettel has always been inspired by the early electronica pioneers (whose names don't even need to be mentioned... everyone knows who we're talking about right), and on this album too you can hear some of the aesthetics of those late 90's productions, but adopted into Kettel's unique world of confident rhythms and melodies filled with expression. The music on this record has a lyrical quality to it and is so expertly written that it does not strictly depend on it's electronical environment: these compositions would still stand firm performed on whatever combination of instruments. Another lovely and magical release by Kettel thats spreading good vibes from the first to the last second!

Electronic music pioneer Jamie Teasdale, best known as Kuedo, makes a timely and luminous return with the sci-fi designed 'Assertion of a Surrounding Presence' - his first solo release proper since 2012, and the 2nd issue on his fledgling Knives label after J.G. Biberkopf's 'Ecologies'. Now a decade on from the groundbreaking sound engineering and designs of Jamie's pivotal role in Vex'd, and five years since he emerged solo as Kuedo, his celebrated production style remains anterior to modern dance music and electronica, largely by virtue of unbending futurist focus and careful attention to detail. Here flanked by collaborations with erstwhile Vex'd partner, Roly Porter, plus Berlin's Phoebe Kiddo a.k.a. Mind:Body:Fitness, and Canada's Egyptrixx, the nexx chapter in Kuedo's odyssey expands his sci-fi dimensions with ever sharper contouring, gradients, and hyperreal spatialisation structured around recalibrated footwork, drill and techno engines.Scaling from the vertigo-inducing opener to a finale of panicked gamelan drama, 'Assertion of a Surrounding Presence' renders Kuedo's most affective, elaborate reflection of a nowness, divining a metaphysical, cybernetic zeitgeist in the vaulted reverb structures of his Ghost In The Shell nod, 'Eyeless Angel Intervention', or the trance fluid T-2000 tekstep momentum of 'Boundary Regulation', whilst pursuing more tangled emotions and ethereal sensations in the recursive, hyaline gamelan cadence of 'Border State Collapse' and 'Event Tracking Across Populated Terrain'. This follows right thru to the artwork by Melbourne, Australia-based Joshua Petherwick, who perfectly connotes the album's aesthetic and concept with a nod to sci writer Anthony Burgess' fictional conceit of Nadsat - a cryptic systemisation of order in a dystopian environment - in his abstract yet acutely evocative geometries.

And it All Ends Here (feat. Antonello Salis) Short info: As both a producer and the helmsman of the Outis Music label, Dino Sabatini has carved out a distinctive musical style that shows a great reverence for both ancient archetypes and future possibilities for change (see, for example, his Mnemosyne' co-release with Edit Select, in which each track is dedicated to a separate Greek goddess). With one foot planted in a mysterious past and the other foot planted in a world yet to arrive, Sabatini's works are carefully realized emotional journeys that intertwine shimmers of optimism with undercurrents of poignancy or nostalgia. His latest full-length offering, Omonimo' (that's homonym' for non-speakers of Italian), brings all of this to fruition on a record that demands (and rewards) deep listening. After a pulsating Foreword' massages the mind and prepares it for the story that Sabatini is about to tell, Choosing the Right Way' blankets the listener in a rainy day ambience punctuated with tantalizingly distant vocal refrains and nimble piano. At once solemn and erotic, it sets the pace perfectly for a set of tracks that have a cohesive feel, yet all use their own sonic vocabulary and color palette to tell unique variations on the story. It's My Forest,' for example, sticks to the reliable trip-hop / mid-tempo framework while introducing quick snatches of tabla and signaling, hovering synth arpeggios. Follow Me' retains the lush synth pads and cycling percussive loops of that track, and then things take a turn for the slightly darker with The Unexpected,' a sudden uptick in percussive punch and apprehensive intensity.

It's been two years since Tagwell Woods first appeared on W.T. Records. His rich and refreshingly unique techno style caught the ears of the faithful. Finally, finally, the Londoner is back on vinyl with six pieces of his original brand of machine music. And the wait is worth it. Tracks like "Christmas" and "Training" pulsate with feeling. Others like "Rabbit Society" and "Chance" build on that emotion. Crisp percussion and heartening strings are weaved as lush moments and textures unfurl. The 12" is incredibly deep and flooded with sentiment. But don't be mistaken into thinking Tagwell Woods deals in weight, instead it's his lightness of touch that sings. "Tied Waves" is fragile and delicate, whispering before blossoming into being. The finale, the beautifully uplifting "Velocity", has that same deftness. Mecca defies classification. Electronica. Techno. House. Acid. All are lovingly melted together to produce an absorbing and soulful second release, a release which is testament to the talent of this fledgling musician. Greetings, earthlings: we come from the land of endless summers and spontaneous jam sessions to deliver Get Physical number 300. It's brought to you by the trio from Copenhagen known as WhoMadeWho, a genre-bending group of buddies who are no strangers to critically-acclaimed albums: from their first-ever eponymous album back in 2005, to 2012's chart-topping 'Brighter' LP, all the way to last year's 'Dreams' LP, which was in fact, touted by many as one of the best things to come from the indie-dance sector of music in some time. This comes as no surprise coming from a band that's played and toured alongside the likes of Justice, LCD Soundsystem, Daft Punk and Hot Chip, who even asked to remix the trio's song 'TV Friend' while they in return covered 'Don't Dance'. Other remixers include underground heavy-hitters The Mole, DJ Koze and Michael Mayer, proving WhoMadeWho's ability to go from mega-stage to basement seamlessly. For the 'Ember' EP, their latest foray into the world of machine music and dreamy soundscapes, the band has stayed true to their pop tendencies while spinning things around and taking a trip right back to their roots. Band member Tomas Barfod - who also produced the release - mentions: 'After many years of emphasizing 'the song' more and more, we felt like just playing around with our instruments, like when we recorded our first album (...) it was like renewing our band-wedding vows; we found our way back to our fun and free approach of making music together". 'Fun' and 'free' might very well be two of the best ways to describe this seven-track creation that skews as much pop as it does surf-rock and slow, meaningful dance music.

Delsin present a new EP by B12 aka Steve Rutter entitled Orbiting Souls, a name which comes from the fact the veteran artist has recently spent contemplating the loss of a friend and believes we are surrounded by lost souls and spirits. This is B12's second EP this year following on from the Bokide 325 release on Soma Records and comes years after still acclaimed album like Electro-Soma and TimeTourist on Warp Records back in the 90s. Orbiting Souls is a somewhat complex journey, a representation of inner Bi Polar opposites; isolation; sadness, but also acknowledging the great and wonderful things around that swirl and support and energise us. A perfectly formed sound world that is both absorbing and cerebral and comes with a full colour sleeve by Boris Tellegen.

'We Start Over' arrived on the desks at International Feel and it felt perfect for us. Deep electronics, a lovely mood, forward thinking and a gorgeous vocal from Trudie Dawn Smith. Lots to play with from a remix perspective and a great original track in itself. Steve Cobby is a British producer, musician, composer, and DJ, based in Kingston-upon-Hull, Yorkshire. He co-founded Fila Brazillia in 1990 and released 10 critically acclaimed LP's and produced over 70 remixes for artists as diverse as Radiohead, Busta Rhymes, Black Uhuru and A Certain Ratio. Cobby now releases music via his own label Déclassé label. His latest and third solo LP 'Saudade' was released in March 2014 and received considerable critical acclaim.

The first 12" consists of the original version and on the flip a remix by Apiento & Lx (their first track together since the underground classic 'The Orange Place' ). The remix is slow trance in its purest sense, made for lasers and dark nightclubs. It's already receiving club play and has been named by Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston's ALFOS as "one of the records of the summer". High praise.

On the second 12" the reins have been handed to Gerd Janson & Phillip Lauer a.k.a Tuff City Kids - two people making some of the finest house at their at the moment with Janson also getting massively known globally for his DJing. Their remixes are made for the clubs. The 'Garage Dub' is classic New York house that is as deep as you like and one of those hooky ones that does everything perfectly. The other, 'Private Acid Mix ' goes heavy on the beats and drops the 303 in a fine style with the vocal looped and twisted.

As you would expect from International Feel this is classy and classic club music covered from all angles from a balearic original, a deep chug remix from Apiento & Lx and the Tuff City Kids bringing the house vibe. Deep deep deep.

After efforts on Andrew Weatherall's Bird Scarer Records and the mighty World Unknown. Black Merlin is kicking off the Common Thread series with New World Fantasy / Ice House. Dark and progressive synth music that comes in strictly limited pressing of 400 copies.

Correspondant are proud to announce the release of their first ever album, the self titled debut from label artist Man Power.

Since first appearing as an anonymous online presence almost only 2 years ago, Man Power has since released original music and remixes on a wide range of labels including Hivern Discs, Throne of Blood, Voyuerhythym, Ene Japan, and of course Correspondant, the home of the majority of his original musical output.

While his work to date has displayed a notable range of tempos and textures, his eponymous debut album sees him take a step further away from the dance floor and offers a deeper exploration in to his left-field influences, with a new almost pop sensibility that manages to swing back and forth between doleful to playful, over the the course of the Album's compact fifty minute running time.

Citing touchstones as diverse as Laurie Anderson, Steve Reich and Tangerine Dream, as well as dealing in shades of Jazz, Techno and Balearica, the album manages to speak in a number of voices, but still ultimately communicates as one singular whole.

This is not merely a collection of club tracks, hastily compiled and capable of living in abstraction, but instead a true album wherein each element services the finished article, and where each new track provides further context for that which proceeded it.

Sunday Music goes deeper and depper with this fantastic album release. It reflects the love of label owner Henrik Schwarz for jazz, contemporary and chamber music. When norwegians electro-jazz pioneer Bugge Wesseltoft and Henrik Schwarz (!K7/ Innervisions) produced their collaboration 'Duo", it was clear that their synergy was both unique within, and revitalizing to, the whole genre of electro-acoustic beat-based improvisation. Now the duo becomes a trio, and the dialogue becomes a Trialogue. Indie/ Jazz Bassist Dan Berglund (e.s.t., Ane Brun) brings additional dimensions and a whole new range of songwriter possibilities, a completely new layer of sound, Tastefully chosen electronic rhythmic patterns and drums, virtuosic piano playing, analog synthesiers, thumping double bass lines. Subtle but high energy walks through your speakers. Moments of quasi-ambient atmosphere sit alongside driving energetic swathes of blues-inflected jamming from the future, near-metallic semi-sinister meteor storms of sound rest easily beside moments of classic jazz noire, and there is a marked assimilation of classical chamber sensibilities. This is a thoroughgoing post-postmodernist soundworld. What the listener will recognise instantly is, simply put, great music. BUGGE WESSELTOFT (Keys/Percussion) Since 1990 Bugge Wesseltoft has constantly evolved his sound, restlessly exploring new territory, rarely (if ever) looking back over travelled roads. He has worked with some of the best-known and respected names in jazz, such as Jan Garbarek, Nils Petter Molvaer, as also toured/ played with Laurent Garnier, Joaquin Joe Claussell, collaborates with Ricardo Villalobos.

The name MONDO has its roots in 'MONDO MOVIES", an italian movie genre born in the 60's. Mondo movies are characterized by documentary-like content that addresses several topics from around the world ("mondo"). The Mondo label has the goal to produce music that is descriptive of concepts, images and environments. Mondo is inspired by library music, a genre frequently used as theme or background music in radio, film and television in that very same period. Production music libraries typically offer a broad range of musical styles and genres describing everything ranging from deserts to war and sports. Library music composers and session performers had no constraint at all. They typically work anonymously, have rarely become known outside their professional circle and they have produced what probably is the most creative music catalogue ever. The Mondo productions start with four releases dedicated to seascapes; scenarios range from sea fauna to poaching, from natural parks to sea dunes. Good listening!

Manuel Göttsching Live in a terrific Japanese setting: Mount Fuji. Concert from 2006. Includes high class Sound Recording and highly sought after tracks like Shuttlecock' and many more. Manuel Göttsching may not have released as many albums in recent decades as he did earlier in his career but when he does release something new, it's always something special. Manuel's latest release was recorded live in April 2006 during an excellent solo concert near Japan's Mount Fuji. Manuel performed the entire concert alone accompanied by stunning visuals by a polish graphic artist and he also dug into his back catalog coming up with new arrangements of classic material. The album opens with Sunrain' which was originally from the 1976 classic New Age of Earth". The familiar hypnotic sequencer pattern is already in place however on this new version, Manuel takes it in a slightly different direction and extends the piece to nearly 15-minutes."Saint and Sinner' is a more recent piece, which was originally heard on the 2005 release Concert for Murnau". This laid back piece is taken a step up from its studio counterpart as Manuel adds a bluesy Clapton-esque guitar lead that wasn't there before."Trunky Groove' is a brand new piece composed for this concert and is a showcase for the psychedelic music style that was the norm for Manuel back in his very early days in Ash Ra Tempel. A techno-style rhythm is accompanied by a long drone and intense orchestrations before giving way to an effects-drenched guitar solo. Die Mulde' is a 20-minute excerpt from Manuel's long-form 1997 piece of the same name. It begins with the Die Spiegel' section of the piece and shifts into the closing Zerfluss' movement. As with Saint and Sinner", Manuel adds a guitar lead which wasn't in the original version. Finally, to close the album, we have yet another arrangement of the classic Shuttlecock' which originally is from the 1977 masterwork Blackouts".
