Misanthrope CA is the Black Metal influenced formation by artist and photographer Robert Kulisek and David Lieske aka Carsten Jost, co-owner of Dial Records. After their first limited tape redition "Amerika" (2015), Deathbridge is a full-length album recorded in the Hamptons, New York, in collaboration with the Oslo gallery "VI, VII".
As mentioned in early interviews, David Lieske always had a huge fascination for true Black Metal, reflected now in the wonderfully dark Misanthrope CA recordings. After extraordinary releases and contributions by Dirk Von Lowtzow, Queens, Momus, Christian Naujoks and James K, Dial Records proofs once more the intensity and variety of the label's output.

TRYCK002 is the followup to one of the hottest edit-releases this year. With this release the Swedish producers return with an even stronger release. The wonky groove of Old Lady Friend' is the perfect oddball summer soundtrack. The flip consists of two mid-tempo bangers. Carribean-grooves done by a couple of drunk Swedish fishermen. Tryck & Ton is the rebirth of a long lasting musical relationship between Edvin Edvinsson & Anton Klint (Public Possession, Italians Do It Better, DFA etc.)

Golden Parachutes is a unique, collaborative musical effort comprised of Stewart Walker (US/Berlin) and Touane (Italy/Berlin).
Following five years of collaborative live-performances and techno releases through Stewart's Persona Records imprint, here the duo has decided to co-mingle their influences from Afrobeat and Progressive Jazz into a boundary-free exploration. Liberated from the constraints of repetitive, pounding kick drums, they unveil a new sound of timbral fluidity built-up from live and sequenced instruments.
More than just music, their innovative approach delivers 43 minutes of consummate aural landscapes that pull the listener in head first. As the title 'Into The Dark Grey Morning' suggests the album takes you on a sweet atmospheric journey where melodic washes of colour and light flicker illumination into the dark clouds of monochromatic noise and reverb compositions, evoking fresh beginnings in electronic music... like a light at the end of the tunnel.
As Level Records third long-play release, 'Into The Dark Grey Morning' is an unexpected turn away from the labels normal tendencies. With it's live-instrumental melodies layered over sweeping electronic backdrops the album dips deeply into progressive rock waters and surfaces with a contemporary Krautrock sound, logically delivered by a label from Düsseldorf, the birthplace of Krautrock music.

With the release of their last album Smoke' (2013) Dapayk & Padberg moved to a listening oriented direction, that also works perfectly off the dance floor. The new single Sink This Ship' underlines their decision to follow this path in the future ... maybe even with their upcoming album Harbour' later this year. On Sink This Ship' Eva Padberg unfolds her matured voice, which shows more confidence than on previous records. Dapayk skillfully puts her voice in a common scenery, where the straight beats are long over and where is space for extravagances and inventiveness. However, this is not a radical change turning away from the club sound. Two of the most sought-after remixer artists at the moment, Robot Koch and Bebetta, ensure the suitability for the dance floor. Robot Koch skillfully disassembles (for which he is known) the original. Primarily he builds his version on the emotional base of Eva's vocal part and Dapayk's warm bass line. However, on the flip side, there is almost a contrasting change. The slight melancholy of the original track gives way for a typical Bebetta Techhouse Beat, that flows through the club in a dreamy, yet simply irresistible manner.

The first 'Sketches From An Island' album garnered support from a diverse set of trailblazers. From Gilles Peterson to Trevor Jackson, Boiler Room to Pitchfork, Mark Barrott has become an unlikely hero for Balearic music after only a few short years living in Ibiza.

Barrott founded the International Feel label in Uruguay in 2008. Ironically his formula is to not pay attention to the outside world, valuing only his own intuition, which has more than once led him to drop out and find himself on the other side of the world. Barrott's impermanence and isolation has steered the International Feel label to become a new voice for dance music, standing apart from current trends and one that many people are now gravitating towards.

The Fader noted that Sketches is "brimming with New Age arpeggios and field recordings of local wildlife". For Barrott it acts as a bridge between his own spirituality and creative expression. "Humanity is facing a big challenge at the moment. We're at a fork in the path,' he muses. 'More so than ever people are now pushing the boundaries, taking more drugs and seeking sensory overload, driven in part by the hedonism traditionally associated with dance music. For me, it's time to focus more on making healing music, on trying to find the balance between all this wonderful technology and the freedom it gives us with the natural world. This is one of the overriding inspirations for the Sketches series.'

'I am also telling stories of everyday life in Ibiza, soundtracking my life here through local field recordings, dusty synths, some African percussion and a bit of slide guitar. This music isn't about finding the latest trends in the way other dance music is, it's a lot more like folk music, taking mood, atmosphere and composition and threading stories around that framework.'

Balearic music gave birth to dance music as we know it, but its diversity and openmindedness was lost in it's translation to the stark modern world. As Pitchfork stated in their piece on Sketches, "It may be overshadowed by billboards of current trends, but the spirit remains intact."

While the original spirit from the first Sketches album remains, tracks like the instrumental
emotional pop of 'Driving to Cap Negret' and the heavy weather atmosphere of 'Distant Storms at Sea' highlight a compositional leap forward. The polyrhythmic joy of 'Cirrus & Cumulus' and overall feeling portrayed by Barrott's idiosyncratic aural oddities, highlight a composer comfortable in his own skin and very content with his surroundings and day to day life.

"It was also influenced by playing at La Torre last summer,' Barrott explains of his residency at Ibiza's latest sunset mecca. 'I loved seeing how people react to the wonderful spectacle of the sunset and how you can create a movie soundtrack where the sunset is the film."

Barrott also held a residency at Ibiza's infamous Pikes alongside DJ Harvey last summer. But is happiest at home, "engulfed in Mark world, which is all about my wife and family, the cats, sunsets, eating well, meditating, hanging out....and cricket."

A brave and outspoken maverick, Sketches bares his soul and heart, perhaps the reason so many are drawn to it. ' This new album is a metaphor for some of the big questions. I believe in reincarnation within a life. The person I am today, began at age 30 when I woke up on a beach and had an epiphany. I was very different person before that and since that point I have been very fortunate to flow from one synchronous moment to another. I've realised this journey is the journey within. If one second of any of the Sketches records help people achieve that on their own, then I'm eternally grateful."

Vaghe is a man of few words. He wanders, seemingly endlessly, through a lonely, gargantuan labyrinth of concrete and steel, fighting off ghosts and other futuristic nightmares, searching only for something called The Full Stream Ahead. Who is this quiet, determined man and what are these Ghosts he seeks The small communities he finds tucked into the crevices of this towering, dystopic ruin hardly give him leads on his treasure, driving him to find larger enclaves of civilization where people can reveal more about the world he lives in and the quarry he seeks. If Vaghe is going to find the treasure he seeks, he will need more help and information than the inhabitants of these beleaguered outposts can offer. He needs to find a larger cluster of civilization, but he'll have to survive the trip to get there, first... Following his 2014 'Sweet Sixteen', and his 2015 'Abstract Speed + Sound' Other People is pleased to announce The Full Stream Ahead: The Prologue by Turin's Daniele Mana aka Vaghe Stelle. Previously associated with Italian label Gang of Ducks and a current member of production group One Circle with fellow nationals Lorenzo Senni and A:RA, Daniele's roots in the emerging Italian production scene run deep and place him at its center.

Macro has been the home for the albums of some of electronic music's most exciting live acts. So when a live band enters this context, it should better enter with a bang. KUF do just this with their album debut. The three-piece outfit with keys, bass and drums cooks up a sound that is as warm, cozy and exciting as it is utterly alien. The rhythm section hints at the great history of dirty funk and bouncing r'n'b, but the grooves are firmly of today: dance-centered, thrillingly interactive and broken up at the best possible joints. The bewildering thing about KUF is that it is a vocal-led group that has no singer on stage at all. All vocal elements are based on self-recorded samples which keyboard whizz kid Tom Schneider melds and bends and squeezes in real time. As if it was the most natural thing to do. With no artificial synchronization in place, Valentin Link on bass and Hendrik Havekost on drums push the disembodied voices into an arena of hyperintegrated realtime magic of rough soul, intertwined by improvised outbursts and shaped with the aesthetics of raw MPC-based cut up techno. The album's grabbing openers Gold' and Princess' are full-on instances of the brightly burning world of KUF, with the other eight tunes never ever letting you down. All along, the Berlin based trio take their audiences through a full range of emotions and constantly shifting dynamics. The thorough integration of this extraordinary degree of sheer diversity into a unified experience is simply astonishing. But never forget this is a live band, and that's how anything here has been developed: live, in direct interplay. Seeing is believing.

Just ahead of a landmark 50th EP release, Catz 'N Dogz's Pets Recordings turn to Johan Cederberg aka HNNY for a special five track release that very much invites us deep into the off kilter world of the revered Swedish producer. Before now HNNY - preferably pronounced 'honey' - has won himself many fans with curious and quirky releases on labels including Studio Barnhus, Let's Play House and Local Talk. Producing house but with a charming sense of melody, a great ear for a sample and an irresistible sense of groove, he is a firm DJ and dancer favourite all across Europe, and for good reason. Opening the EP is 'Happy Happy House House', a lazy, beachy cut awash with sun-kissed melody and trip hop grooves. Swaying gently to and fro, it's an immediately soothing track before 'Brasilian Sound' is as Latin as you would expect from the title: it's a percussive, summery, atmospheric jaunt though up-tempo and feel-good house that's littered with distant whistles, the sound of kids playing in the park and a variety of loveable instruments. 'Fresh Laundry' then drops into a much slower and more purposeful groove - stoned drums and a distant bassline unfold lazily before big wind instruments begin tooting up top. It's human, imperfect and full of keys that imbue it with the joys of spring. On the flip, 'Fruktstund' is another adult lullaby with colourful, cartoony instrumentals, angular grooves and plenty of organic textures, whilst closer 'Yogalates' is much the same with its big xylophones, joyous piano chords, rubbery kicks and generally disarming sense of playfulness. Spring is just round the corner but it feels so much closer with these enchanting new cuts from HNNY.

The Caribbean House is a live project that finds Bogus teamed up with Federico Bologna, from seminal Technogod and Ohmega Tribe collective, and Cristiano Santini, from legendary italian act Disciplinatha. Very DJ friendly, Ivory Pagoda' hits with a catchy rhythm which evokes some sort of deep techno vibes but with house-disco flavours and jazz aftertaste. Il nuovo Dragone' sounds like an afro spin cycle with gluey synths and a hidden sick atmosphere. On the b side: Haitian Party' is a lively piece that can also be crepuscular and Ivy' comes full circle with a hypnotic afro-wave with a premonition..

This EP aims to break the rules through a bizarre idea of temporal continuity which may look like a bit of a paradox : from the dark vibes/atmospheres of the 80s via the glacial synths and the warm sampled beats of the 90s to the vaporous present day disco. 'We Start Over' arrived on the desks at International Feel and it felt perfect for us. Deep electronics, a lovely mood, forward thinking and a gorgeous vocal from Trudie Dawn Smith. Lots to play with from a remix perspective and a great original track in itself. Steve Cobby is a British producer, musician, composer, and DJ, based in Kingston-upon-Hull, Yorkshire. He co-founded Fila Brazillia in 1990 and released 10 critically acclaimed LP's and produced over 70 remixes for artists as diverse as Radiohead, Busta Rhymes, Black Uhuru and A Certain Ratio. Cobby now releases music via his own label Déclassé label. His latest and third solo LP 'Saudade' was released in March 2014 and received considerable critical acclaim.

The first 12" consists of the original version and on the flip a remix by Apiento & Lx (their first track together since the underground classic 'The Orange Place' ). The remix is slow trance in its purest sense, made for lasers and dark nightclubs. It's already receiving club play and has been named by Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston's ALFOS as "one of the records of the summer". High praise.

On the second 12" the reins have been handed to Gerd Janson & Phillip Lauer a.k.a Tuff City Kids - two people making some of the finest house at their at the moment with Janson also getting massively known globally for his DJing. Their remixes are made for the clubs. The 'Garage Dub' is classic New York house that is as deep as you like and one of those hooky ones that does everything perfectly. The other, 'Private Acid Mix ' goes heavy on the beats and drops the 303 in a fine style with the vocal looped and twisted.

As you would expect from International Feel this is classy and classic club music covered from all angles from a balearic original, a deep chug remix from Apiento & Lx and the Tuff City Kids bringing the house vibe. Deep deep deep.

After his manifold debut in 2009, followed by a second album "True Life / In Flames" with focus on the grand piano, Dial Records is pleased to announce Christian Naujoks's third solo album WAVE, a dedication to one of the artist's essential instruments: the electric guitar.
Inspired by The Durutti Collumn, John Fahey, Vincent Gallo, Azalia Snail and David Grubbs, and many others, Christian Naujoks breaks the boundaries between songwriting and minimalism, folk music and contemporary art. The recordings at Electric Avenue Studios were accompanied by engineering master Tobias Levin, known for his works on Kreidler, Faust, Felix Kubin, Pantha Du Prince & The Bell Laboratory, just to name a few. With WAVE Naujoks and Levin created a sound-seductive state of the art production, ten post-minimalist guitar pieces with an appearance of the artist's signature piano style on two of the songs.
Christian Naujoks recently worked on productions with his band Sky Walking (with RVDS and Lawrence) and released a piano tape on Martin Hossbach's imprint. After a series of concerts at Berlin's Berghain and HAU, the Golden Pudel Club in Hamburg, performances and collaborations around the globe including Israel, Mexico, Vietnam and the Philippines, he returned back to his studio in Hamburg in 2015 where the WAVE started.

'Discovery Change (Part 4)', is the second part (JR-002) of Daniël Jacques' tetralogy vinyl project. All songs on this part have been created between 2004 and 2016. This time, delivering a variation of (deep) house ( Daruma' and Astronomy'), techno ( The Opposite') and even hip hop music ( Where U Are'). Again, the music will be pressed on 180 grams vinyl (12 inch). JR-002 will come out in June. Follow up releases of the 'Discovery Change'-project, (JR-003 and 004) will all be released this year.

We have now reached the third volume of the Lounge Factory compilation, but the first also released on CD, following the good results achieved abroad, with the physical release un countries such as Romania, Poland, South Korea, Mexiico and Central America, Israel, Singapore and Malaysia, Spain and Japan. In principle, the Lounge Fatory series is not in competition with other compilations of the genre, but propose under the Lounge term a wide range of "real" artists, mainly with vocals. Kris- & Konflikthantering is Swedish for 'crises and conflict management,' as well as a course at university guiding you how to manage scenarios involving crises and strategies in handling conflicts. This album was put together while Harald was taking this course. This album was made during semi-unconscious conditions and is an emotional transcription of experiences to the language of sequences and frequencies. The soundscape is a warm fuzzy travel from krauty basslines, vocal fragments and mantras through echoes and reverberating tunnels with shimmering arpeggios, field recordings and programed patterns in ancient Japanese Roland techniques. All recorded on the Studer B67 master tape recorder, the heart of the Kranglan Broadcast studio. The album is being released as a three episode series with exclusive remixes on the 12s. The vinyls come in sleeves with cover artwork drawn by Malin Gabriella Nordin. Kris- & Konflikthantering I/III (KLN007) features 4 tracks with traces from Harald's latest release Fritids EP on Studio Barnhus as well as a remix by Petter Nordkvist under yet another moniker... It is the first time Harald and Petter are on the same 12 since the Thunderpants era with Harald on the microphone and Petter behind the screen releasing on young John Dahlbäcks Pickadoll Records, time flies. Kris- & Konflikthantering II/III (KLN008) features 4 tracks including songs from Harald's live repertoire as well as a remix of his Studio Barnhus debut Sabor Latino now interpreted by the queen of Pampa, Areal and Kompakt, Ada. Kris- & Konflikthantering III/III (KLN009) is the final ending with 2, 14-minute plus tracks. One dedicated to the ancient rave grounds of Hellasgarden where it all began in terms of dancing in dirty fields lit by sonar sweeps from the broadcast masts and strobes visible all the way to the city.

Len Leise's 'Lingua Franca' launched International Feel's mini-album series (closely followed by the wonderful CFCF with 'On Vacation'). 'Lingua Franca' reached critical acclaim and tipped into end of year charts from the likes of Thump and Vinyl Factory. Each mini-album will be followed by a twelve inch featuring a remix by the artist and another respected producer, so revisiting "2015's undoubted Balearic masterpiece" (Thump / Vice) are remixes from Gilb'r and Leise himself.

Len Leise hits a mood and rides it. His album was heavily percussive, melancholy in places, happy in others and gloriously well balanced. For his remix he takes hold of 'O Caminho' and turns in a dub heavy ride of a track. Bass lines rumble and the congas move. Road tested in various nightclubs, it kicks when played loud. The original of 'O Camino' also makes an appearance on this package (one of the favourites from the album), and finally in comes Gilb'r to take on 'El Modelo'.

French native Gilb'r is a living legend in the house scene. He makes ridiculous records on his own, and also alongside the likes of I:Cube, as well as running the well-respected Versatile label. On initial listen his mix sounds stripped and industrial, but get lost in it and you can hear why he is so highly praised. It's a timeless piece of house music made with the dancefloor in mind.
So there we go. Another chapter in the wonderful world of Len Leise and International Feel. A star the making and a label always pushing the fold.

As you descend the staircase into DARKSIDE's Brooklyn studio, the cement walls pulse slightly faster than your heartbeat. Entering the converted apartment, the first thing you notice is the symmetry of Dave Harrington's appearance. In the low light, his matte-black shirt and jeans form negative space between the shine of his boots and his shock of red hair.

Michigan's ambient and soundtrack specialist John Beltran introduces a new LP that will be co-released by Delsin and his digital only label Dado Records. Entitled Through the Blinds, it features ten tracks by Blair French (who also appeared on his Music For Machine compilation on Delsin last year) and will be released on January 18th 2016. Blair French aka Dial.81 is an experimental producer and visual artist who won an award for his score of Detropia--a documentary about his home city of Detroit--and now makes his ambient debut. As you would expect of such a project, it boasts suspensory and near spiritual pieces of ambient music with angelic chords and glassy textures. There are also more frosty cuts that sound like a chilly Autumn walk, tracks that feature emotive neo-classical piano pieces and suggestively rhythmic compositions that sooth your mind. The second half of the record touches on church like passages of synth heavy sounds, strikingly sad violins and lo-fi arrangements that sound, one hopes, a little like what you might hear as you pass from this life to the next.

(180 gr, incl. DL card with previously unreleased material) De Beren Gieren is a trio of explorers and improvisers that debuted in 2011 and quickly made a name for themselves in the Belgian jazz scene. One Mirrors Many is their fifth album already.

The release of One Mirrors Many on SDBAN marks the first edition on vinyl of De Beren Gieren's outstanding latest album. The record came out to huge critical acclaim in 2015, but never made it to wax until the Ghent based imprint fell for it.
De Beren Gieren is a trio of explorers and improvisers that debuted in 2011 and quickly made a name for themselves in the Belgian contemporary jazz scene. One Mirrors Many is their fifth album already, and the first one in which the band experiments with incorporating electronic analog elements to their sound. Analog effects, tape loops and contact microphones are used and adapted to their instruments. During the live performance, the electronic gear is triggered live by the musicians to accompany De Beren Gieren's compositions and improvisations. This approach not only resulted in a great deal of excellent international reviews, it also established De Beren Gieren's reputation of the most adventurous and influential jazz act around.

SDBAN Records is the youngest member of the N.E.W.S. Records family, based in Ghent, Belgium. The label started off as a sixties and seventies compilation and reissue label, with label boss Stefaan Vandenberghe's impressive personal vinyl collection at its core. The very first release was a milestone right away. The acclaimed 'Funky Chicken: Belgian grooves from the seventies' compiled the best funk tracks from the Belgian Seventies, a genre and era overlooked by many. The label also released reissues and retrospective compilations from the likes of André Brasseur and Koen De Bruyne. After two years of digging dusty crates, SDBAN broadens its horizon and starts focusing on contemporary talent as well. SDBAN Ultra is the sister label focusing on today's lively jazz and funk scene, which is simply too exciting not to be explored.

Macro has been the home for the albums of some of electronic music's most exciting live acts, such as KiNK and Elektro Guzzi. So when a live band enters this context, it should better enter with a bang. KUF do just this with their album debut. The band: Three-piece outfit KUF, featuring keys, bass and drums, cooks up a sound that is as warm, cozy and exciting as it is utterly alien. The rhythm section hints at the great history of dirty funk and bouncing R&B, but the grooves are firmly of today: dance-centered, thrillingly interactive and broken up at the best possible joints. The bewildering thing about KUF is that it is a vocal-led group that has no singer on stage at all. All vocal elements are based on self-recorded samples which keyboard whizz kid Tom Schneider melds, bends and squeezes in real time. As if it was the most natural thing to do. With no artificial synchronization in place, Valentin Link on bass and Hendrik Havekost on drums push the disembodied voices into an arena of hyperintegrated realtime magic of rough soul, intertwined by improvised outbursts and shaped with the aesthetics of raw MPC-based cut-up techno. The album: The album's grabbing openers Gold' and Princess' are full-on instances of the brightly burning world of KUF, with the other ten tunes never ever letting you down. All along, the Berlin based trio take their audiences through a full range of emotions and constantly shifting dynamics. The thorough integration of this extraordinary degree of sheer diversity into a unified experience is simply astonishing. But never forget this is a live band, and that's how anything here has been developed: live, in direct interplay. Seeing is believing.

After his manifold debut in 2009, followed by a second album "True Life / In Flames" with focus on the grand piano, Dial Records is pleased to announce Christian Naujoks's third solo album WAVE, a dedication to one of the artist's essential instruments: the electric guitar.
Inspired by The Durutti Collumn, John Fahey, Vincent Gallo, Azalia Snail and David Grubbs, and many others, Christian Naujoks breaks the boundaries between songwriting and minimalism, folk music and contemporary art. The recordings at Electric Avenue Studios were accompanied by engineering master Tobias Levin, known for his works on Kreidler, Faust, Felix Kubin, Pantha Du Prince & The Bell Laboratory, just to name a few. With WAVE Naujoks and Levin created a sound-seductive state of the art production, ten post-minimalist guitar pieces with an appearance of the artist's signature piano style on two of the songs.
Christian Naujoks recently worked on productions with his band Sky Walking (with RVDS and Lawrence) and released a piano tape on Martin Hossbach's imprint. After a series of concerts at Berlin's Berghain and HAU, the Golden Pudel Club in Hamburg, performances and collaborations around the globe including Israel, Mexico, Vietnam and the Philippines, he returned back to his studio in Hamburg in 2015 where the WAVE started.

Ambient techno exponent, A Sagittariun, fires off another full-length album transmission this April on his own Elastic Dreams label. 'Elasticity' is the Bristol based artist's second long player, and the follow up to his acclaimed 2013 debut, 'Dream Ritual'. Having last released a trio of singles in early 2015 (for Hypercolour, Secret Sundaze and Elastic Dreams), 'Elasticity' marks a return for A Sagittariun, and fans of the slippery and elastic sounds that hallmarked his debut album will not be disappointed. 'Dream Ritual' helped firmly establish A Sagittariun as an artist whose musical chops and integrity operate largely outside of the mainstream and a producer who chooses to put the music firmly center stage, whilst opting to remain relatively anonymous within the music scene. A Sagittariun explains, Elasticity was recorded over quite a short period, but the sketches and ideas have been germinating for some time, so sonically it's very coherent and consistent and moves in a way that I personally like albums to move in, with a narrative and flow that holds you right to the end. The recipe for Elasticity was always to be malleable and pliable with the sounds and tempos, for me it's all about the listening experience, and creating a landscape and a world within that one can really get deep into and explore, it's optimistic and progressive music for the head, heart and feet. I really do advise the listener to don headphones and take the trip with me".

The last couple of years have been huge for Pomo, going from a relatively obscure Canadian producer to releasing his debut EP on HW&W, remixing for the likes of Janet Jackson and Mark Ronson, producing "Am I Wrong" on Anderson Paak's debt album and touring the globe with Disclosure as their opening act. Bastard Jazz has commissioned Pomo to be next in line for the fourth volume of their "Tempo Dreams" compilation series, following on the heels of the hotly contested Soul Clap compiled Vol. 3. As with other Tempo Dreams records, Pomo has curated a slick and well polished album full of exclusive tracks from friends and collaborators such as Lindsay Lowend, Aloka, Exmag, Syre, Daniel Crawford, FVLCRVM and more. Touching on the shimmering nudisco sound, plodding deep electronic vibes, funky instrumental hip-hop, and even a hint of drum'n'bass, Tempo Dreams Vol. 4 takes it's rightful place in the series as one of the most forward thinking compilations showcasing emerging young talent.

Concepts and ideas come fast and furious to Berlin trio Brandt Brauer Frick. Having turned heads from the group's inception with their classically-informed approach to creating techno compositions with acoustic instruments, BBF's output has been characterized by a restless creativity. The search for new sonic territory lead the group to record with a full 13-piece orchestra, and later to strip down their sound to sparse arrangements featuring more electronic textures, and to record an aggressively diverse DJ-Kicks mix on a legendary club sound system using only vinyl dubplates. Now, on the first new single release in over a year, the band adds a new element: the voice of collaborator Beaver Sheppard, who adds vocals to two new compositions. We met Beaver in Montreal during Mutek and it was love at first sight,' the band says. We had the chance to bring him over for a series concerts for some corporate shows in Switzerland and had 4 weeks of studio time and started working on songs together. These two songs are among the first we did together with Beaver back in 2013. The partnership with Sheppard is a perfect fit, adding a slightly melancholy focal point to Brandt Brauer Frick's percussion-heavy arrangements. The first fruits of the collaboration, Holy Night' and Poor Magic' comprise the new single, rounded out by a remix from Tom Trago. A full length album is in the works: release expected late summer 2016.

The 10&11th release of ROOM FULL OF RECORDS is OPSB(One Piece Session Band)again! OPSB is a three piece band and with the numbers Yoshiharu Yoshida (Flute, Pianica, Synth), PONCHI (Guitar, MPC), RYUNOSHIN (Bass). They have performed at lots of big stages regardless or not because of their live performance policy. Also, they are skaters, too, so they have many fans all over the world not only from their music but also from their skating. The 10th release Fullmoon' taste of exotic, rockin'. Thrilling bass line and exotic flute melody are coming at the first half but after that rough and edge guitar appear. The remix is Tokyo Black Star (Alex From Tokyo and Isao Kumano). It's solid and simple for direct to dancefloor because of long experience of DJing of Alex. He is playing a lot and getting the bomb from the dancefloor.
The 11th release is Slum Jazz Punk' ' sessão no céu'! Slum Jazz Punk' is taste not only punk rock but also free jazz. It's not standard 4beat dance music but it must be going to spread out to another genres. The remixer is Tadashi Yabe who is the member of UFO (united future organization). Swinging beat and acoustic guitar bring us to the air of Portuguese sessão no céu' is suit to listening and dance floor!

Dave Harrington's long-standing musical career is impressive and varied, yet the New York-native has never released an album of his own work. Today, Harrington is pleased to announce his first solo endeavor, Dave Harrington Group, and the release of his debut album, Become Alive, which will be released April 15th on Other People. With today's announcement, Harrington offers up the first taste of the album with its title track - listen below Dave Harrington grew up immersed in jazz, from his father's love of it, to later studying with Kelvyn Bell, Brad Jones, JD Parran, Daniel Bernard Roumain, and Dave Zinno. Upon his return to NYC after university, Harrington dove headfirst into his hometown of New York's musical underworld, where scenes and bands rub together and cross-pollinate with abandon. From there, he fell into the electronic music milieu, collaborating with Nicolas Jaar on Darkside's celebrated blending of techno, prog-rock and space disco. For Become Alive, Harrington was inspired by the classic jazz albums of the late 60s and early 70s, which experimented with contemporary studio recording techniques and effects. He assembled about a dozen players and recorded days of improvised material, later manipulating it into something that, while fundamentally live, takes full advantage of Harrington's penchant for electronic manipulations of organic sound - the same conceptual approach he takes with his heavily effected and live-sampling guitar work, applied to an entire group. Each track is the unique product of Harrington's unorthodox musical make-up - jazz training and ability, a collaborative, free-minded spirit, and a personal vision of mixing and post-production techniques to tie it together.

Flight Facilities, Future Classic and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra collaborate to bring you Flight Facilities - Live at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Set under the stars of the outdoor amphitheatre at Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday 17 October, 12 000 fans witnessed Flight Facilities recreate their five year journey from their first DJ mix to the release of their acclaimed debut album Down To Earth. The 15-track performance was captured live and mixed by ARIA Award-winning engineer Eric J Dubowsky features musical guests Touch Sensitive, Surahn, Kurt Kristen, Owl Eyes, Katie Noonan, George Maple, Reggie Watts & Emma Louise.
