More fresh out the oven Jungle cakes!

This latest release on Jungle Cakes comes courtesy of Canada's, House of David Gang. Proper chilled out, but incredibly funky
reggae vibes on this jam, as the name suggests. Serious bass shakes your sub out of its box, and your windows out of their frame. All
the classic elements melt into one big pile of funk. Rhythm guitar, ragga stabs and vocals provide the laid back groove and are
spurred along by sensational guitar licks.
Ed Solo and Stickybuds turn up the heat, and the tempo with their remix. Keeping somewhat true to the original with many of the
original stems in play, they add some super tight drums, some heavy bassline wizardry and smash out an absolute gem that is
impossible not to groove to. When we say groove, we mean dance uncontrollably with arms flailing and a big grin from ear to ear!

The Dispatch Limited offshoot continues to mature, showcasing new talent and keeping the music fresh and diverse. We are pleased

* "In 2000, I started going to raves in Cambridge, and my dad got me a copy of cubasis. After a steady diet of ambient dub and drum and bass I moved to London and discovered Pirate Radio. I completely immersed myself in the music making process and dedicated my time to a sound that I was consistently happy with. A lot of my inspiration comes from early rave production and the quick and unapologetic techniques that were used to make tracks. Short sampling space, limited save functions and other restrictions lead to music that I find to be very pure, energetic and creative."

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Sun And Bass, the crew have decided to put together a compilation that gives both a
snapshot into the vibe of the festival and also marks this landmark occasion.
As a physical memento, there will be a 12' with two tracks that totally sum up the Sun And Bass vibe.
One side showcases the sublime Calibre remix of Arp XP's 'Winter in Sardinia' track from the 2011 compilation - the remix perfectly
capturing that musical essence the festival is known for, with the original coming from not only a Sardinian artist, but also one of Sun
And Bass's longest standing residents.
The flip exhibits as many ties - a Paradox remix of 'How You Move Me' from Lynx, Hellrazor & Kemo. This tune became one of the
anthems of the festival with Kemo's lyrics taking you deep into the Sardinian countryside. Ever-present Sun And Bass guest Paradox
puts his own twist on the track, taking you even deeper in, a pure, proper slab of real drum and bass.
The package is completed with a digital bundle from many of Sun And Bass's most important stalwarts, including tracks from
dBridge, Ulterior Motive, Seba, ArpXP, Alite and MC Fava, Chris SU and Nymfo, Fracture and Mark System, Code 3, Tokyo Prose and
FD and Collette.
Each of these artists brings forth a piece of music that encapsulates what Sun And Bass means to them, the feelings it gives them
and the place that it takes them to.
The digital bundle will be released in the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled for that - and make sure you're on your toes if you

and 'Love is the Devil' (2011), winter 2013 sees the arrival of Blu Mar Ten's highly anticipated new LP, 'Famous Lost Words'.
Featuring 13 tracks of pure and unapologetic drum & bass, the album inhabits a similar territory to the previous two; full of emotional
movements fused with tough beats that reinforce BMT's position in the genre as originators of complex, atmospheric music.

Two Summer Hit-Tracks with Reggae-Vibes from the upcoming album "The Green Man (TGM) - Sound Power", which covers a variety of styles from soulful vocal tracks to dark stuff, from emotional soundscapes to minimal music. "Word Sound Power" featuring the voice of Peter Bouncer (known from Shut Up & Dance - Ravin, I'm Ravin, UK Charts #2 or Congo Nattys "Jungist") was recorded for this track in DJ Freeze's studio and is coming ahead of the album on Basswerk 38 vinyl. This time Peter's vocals come together with modern Beats and spheric, dubby sounds in a Green Man style. The positive vibes of Peter's singing gave the track its name and were an initial spark for the creation of the whole album.

"Face the Father" with Demolition Man - singer of the legendary "Fire" Track (Urban Shakedown/Prizna/Labello Bianco). Its a fast dance track with deep ragga vocals and electronic sounds. Bringing intelligently dark drum and bass to the masses is a difficult job, but somebody's gotta do it. This time Mortem takes
Demand's hot seat to encourage two tracks with the hard-hitting firepower and sub pressure of a depth charge.
'Bring It Down' has Mortem's deep-driven grooves stamped all over it, matching heavily contorted bass with hyper speed percussion
to give an unsettling sense of uneven, bottom-heavy textures.
Pushing dread-filled atmospherics through the ringer is one of Mortem's specialities, and this track excels in bringing out his dark
side in a format that's ready-built for the dancefloor.
Utilising old school flavours for 'Malfunction' while maintaining that technical bite, writhing rhythms are sucked in through his unique
sampling vortex to create a track that's all about movement. Multilayered and thick with attitude, its behemoth of a bassline is barely
contained by intricately woven techy percussion.

This is the first release of the label Cubiculo Records, a newborn label based in London / Lisbon that will feature Dub Unit (PT) and Speng Bond (UK) with the single EP debut 'Ganjaman'.
The 'Super Mariojuana Riddim' is inspired by the 8 Bit music, so called chiptune, blended with laptop / digital Reggae and influenced by retro computer games such as Nintendos Super Mario. The Portuguese producer Dub Unit created this Riddim based in a old school tune from Horace Ferguson called 'Sensi Addict' and U-Roy's 'Music Addict', but also brought the 8 Bit feeling because of his appreciation for producers like Prince Jammy, Jahtari, Maffi, and labels like Jammy's, Harmodio, Unity Sounds, among others. Super Mariojuana Riddim was produced and mixed by Dub Unit where the English veteran Deejay Speng Bond, from the UK based label Reality Shock Records, sings 'Ganjaman' in a wicked and conscious way.
The 12' vinyl will have six tracks, featuring on the A side the original version, the riddim version and the Acapella of 'Ganjaman' so that any Speng Bond fan can do a remix for their own music. The flip side of the record will have three different remixes from Dub Unit´s & Speng Bond 'Ganjaman', where you can find a Digistep Version from the Portuguese producer Delmighty Sounds, a Cumbia / Raggamuffin version from the Colombian producer Alguacil Dub Killa and finally a Jungle version from the Portuguese Dirty Skank Beats.
