Russian hell raisers repping with raw clarity: few acts have shown such broad skills as Teddy Killerz. Since emerging two years ago, they've worked with some of the biggest names across D&B, glitch, trap, dubstep and beyond. Tempo Records is proud to announce & release three brand new tracks by Pete Parsons aka Voyager. Pete is known for his engineering work and various productions for cult labels such as Lucky Spin and DeeJay Recordings. Pete also released an album on Belgium's R&S label wich included a certain single called ''Hypersleep'', this classic track from the ''golden era'' is nowadays still considered as one of Drum and Bass defining musical moments. More classic releases followed on LTJ Bukem's Good Looking Records label and Dj Fabio's Creative Source label.


Tempo Records picked three of Pete's latest releases, and since it's hard to describe them here's Pete's own words: ''All 3 of these tracks where written after I lost my dad earlier in 2013. ''F.A.Q'' is about a sense of wonderment, and inspired by a documentary I saw on some deep research on the origin of DNA, we all ask ourselves questions at some point, hence the, ''Who are we, where do we come from'' samples. ''LuvBLoved'' is a very special track for me, as it was the first thing I did after returning home after spending the last few months with my dad. The title was borrowed from an old Frank Sinatra song, which dad used at the end of something he wrote to me, which was: ''One of the most important things in life, is to love and be loved''. ''Big Picture'' can best be described as orchestral/cinematic melancholia''.


This release comes as a limited 140 gramms clear vinyl pressing, including a mp3 download voucher and full artwork sleeve, all tracks mastered by Stuart Hawkes at Metropolis, London. Highly recommended.

DLR has proved undoubtedly one of the stronger forces to emerge onto the D&B scene and onto the Dispatch imprint since last year entirely in his own right as a solo artist; we hereby proudly present you with his next single. As a prelude to DLR's own solo forthcoming Dispatch album, we welcome two killer tracks as part of this single. Dutch drum & bass imprint Citrus Recordings has been renowned for kick starting the careers of numerous acts in the present day drum & bass scene. After releasing their last LP early 2013 they now push forward an Australian/German combo better known as Rregula & Dementia!

The full project will be released on two 12'' pieces of wax and a CD. The first 12'' contains ''Doom Loop'' by Rregula, Dementia & Disphonia and ''Melt'' featuring MC Kryptomedic. Hard hitting drum & bass, the boys prove they know how to lay down some serious neuro pressure.

'Survive / Exist' is one of the most powerfully emotive tunes in the 85/170 bpm based genre we have ever heard. Checking One - Future proofed Tech-Jungle beat droplets fight their way through a corridor of synths. Vocal stabs drift from locked rooms each containing their own distinctive drum pattern. Half way through the track salvation is reached, doors open and all the components meet with a realisation that dark may lead to light, part Soul, part nervous, part shrouded horror entity.
In 1996 Drum and Bass label Liss Fuzion put out its final release Your Move by owner and producer Pager B-TZ. Taking inspiration from this little heard classic hardware have re-worked and re-chopped. With Your Move they soften all the edges of the jittery beats and use drum and bass sounds that float in and out. Your move feels re-assuring, filtered and like a memory of that track, that stayed in the back of your head for weeks but you could never recall where you heard it.
In 2014 the label will release an app including exclusive material from forthcoming music from 'hardware' also an album due in June 2013.

Dutch producer Fre4knc returns to Samurai Music to follow up on his successful 2013 release. The powerful style of 'Tubular' is
updated for 2013 and turned it into another dancefloor meteor with 'Tellurian' which lays the gauntlet down once again for sheer

Since signing to Ram Records a year ago, the Dutch/Anglo duo have locked themselves away in their Utrecht HQ working on a series of mindblowing creations. Deep in sonic solitude, they've pushed themselves to whole new levels... As proved by the stunning 'Empathy' and 'Operation Ivy'. Both pivotal tracks on Andy C's explosively extensive 'Nightlife 6' opus, these cuts represent June Miller's chiselled production skills like never before.

1990s seminal label Suburban Base was founded by Danny Donnelley in 1991 from his Romford Record Shop - Boogie Times. Frankee is one of those producers that embody the true spirit of drum & bass. He's a fearless artist who's not afraid to try something different, blending up influences and styles and packing his tunes with plenty of chunky beats, lashings of filthy bass and an abundance of experimental dives into just about every other face-melting genre out there!

Proving the above to be true with mighty aplomb, the A side to Frankee's latest single for Ram Records is about as disturbingly heavy as it comes. Kicking off with the aptly named 'Gully' we're served up a track that means serious business. Immense horn-like synths pave the way for intense lasers that penetrate every inch of you before you're washed away with a tsunami of rumbling bass. Gully indeed, and likely to cause utter dance floor devastation whenever it is dropped.

Next up Frankee takes us on a different journey, opting for a stunningly beautiful track, soaked with haunting melodies and crisp, rolling breakbeats. Featuring vocals from Janine Small 'Away' progresses with electro house style synth stabs and emotive hooks before dropping down to an ethereal breakdown providing precious moments to gather yourself before the breaks come rolling in again. 'Away' is a gorgeous departure from the skull-cracking weight of 'Gully' and proves Frankee is a producer with plenty of tricks up his sleeve.

'Away' featured on Andy C's recent 'Nightlife 6' compilation, having been a staple of his sets for months and with such diversity and original ideas on display it's easy to see why.

Russia strikes back with a vengeance. The russian twins Gancher & Ruin drop a massive album filled to the brim with hardcore drum and bass crossover monsters. The album on the Tainted Audio imprint is crossover audio porn translated into sheer sonic core and bass mayhem! Each and every tune is made to put on THAT bassface and is a perfect blend between their drum and bass style combined with sick LOUD hardcore kicks and noises. Supported by the drum and bass as well as the regular hardcore community jocks, they have managed to push the fusion between the two genres even further!

The mighty boys over at State of Mind bring us yet another slice of excellence to the Icarus Audio label. The 2nd outing on the imprint, following their killer remix of "Dizgo" from the minds of Rregula & Dementia, they are bringing a brand-new original funk with the tune "Gradient". Kicking things off with a nice marching intro, slicing snares and killer stabs, the synth line leads into the drop with a nice trance-like vibe..... then it stabs the grime that only the SOM boys are known for, and BOOM. Narratives Music fires into 2014 by welcoming back the artist Overlook for his first full single on the label. Overlook's first foray on
Narratives delivered the cold edges of 'Three Shards' last year, a track which gained support across the 170bpm spectrum and
numerous Single of the Month commendations.
This release sees the sought after producer weaving his craft over a double A side, suitably showing the versatility and contrast of his
talent.
The first piece 'False', opens with strings drenched in tones of bereft emotion, sounds kissed by images and memories. The chords
find matrimony with drums sent back from the future and a driving low end that relentlessly dances underneath. Twisting beats and
bass trickery embraced by musicality and emotion, 'False' has found its way in to the peak time DJ sets of Goldie while similarly
slipping into more ethereal and subdued palettes; it exudes the sound of Narratives.
'Everything Counts' offers a completely contrasting stance. Drum machine hits and a depth of bubbling basses build foundation for
this exploratory piece, its groove building throughout under its waves of claustrophobic immersion. Only half way into the piece is the
tension released as relentless bongos join the fray and an energy of tribal and industrial momentum cuts through. Sleazy, reflective
and relentless, 'Everything Counts', displays a producer uncompromisingly creating his art.
