Beats News
*Addictive Behaviour Records present the first part of their amazing High Rollers project. The drum & bass-obsessed label has brought together four highly respected producers from across the globe to give Volume One a very special flavour indeed. Detail, East Colours, Minor Rain and L33 are all present on the High Rollers Volume One EP.
*Detail brings the vibe on Lost Time. The Ukrainian producer has been around since 2011 and has been getting better and better. His track has a building, futuristic quality to its beginning, before sounds clash in the drop to unveil a complex, intricate slice of neuro perfection. Deceptive, dominant and detailed, it marks out the territory of Volume One perfectly.*The amazing EastColors is next, with the infectious Mad Day. You'll be familiar with EastColours' collabs with Enei, but alone he can handle things just as well. Mad Day develops slowly, with its distinct beat working into the track, becoming surrounded with some sliding bass patterns and tough pads and effects. This one will grow on you, becoming a staple part of your set or music collection.*Next Bulgaria's L 33 is up with Discrete. With DJ support from Andy C, L 33's cinematic vibes have been much in demand. His contribution sums up the strength and depth of the EP perfectly, with a roaring tune full of what makes Addictive Behaviour such a special label. Involved, twisting bass runs complement a tough, unforgiving drum line, and L 33 pours in his magic on top. Heavy, headnodding and just the right end to the EP.
*Andy C is a huge fan of this track and decided to include it on Night Life 6 on Ram Records!*Lastly, Minor Rain drops in with the powerful Powerball, which in equal turns blazes a trail into the future and harks back to the classic late-90s period. Rhythm, melody and heavy doses of funk predominate, showcasing the producer's fascination with the dark side of music. The track will draw you in, eat you up and spit you out. Distinctive, demanding and very, very heavy.

*Shogun Audio return from another reccy beyond their perimeter walls with a hand full of dance floor gems from long established drum & bass duo A.I, who over the years have released some of the finest music across labels such as V Recordings, Exit, Commercial Suicide, 31 Records and their own Widescreen Recordings. Now stepping up to Shogun with a 4-pack of turbo-charged trickery ready to make you shake with the brand new 'You Can Dream' EP.
*'Let You Go' is a big room vocal anthem, pure and simple. Opening with Tiki's lyrics riding the break before we dive head first into a massive square wave bassline mover with soaring synths and pads drifting over the top and Tiki's 'I cannot let you go' refrain to take you away. Hands firmly in the air for this one.*The mood darkens considerably for 'Freedom Come' with DRS sounding like you've never heard him before. It's all about the seething, rip-saw b-line though that rattles the rib-cage from start to finish for a deftly heavy battle cry from the A.I. Boys. *The title track 'You Can Dream' takes us back up into the ethereal realm with soothing strings and Steo's vocal sitting delicately over body rocking drums and more of A.I's trademark studio manipulation that always manages to take things up another level. Finally it's time to get proper skanking nasty as they draw in the vocal chants of Jamakabee for the marching mayhem of '10 Outta 10', a dirty distorted slab of dynamite drum & bass. Ooooofff all round!

*Over the years, drum & bass has seen literally thousands of record labels come and go. But amid the seemingly infinite imprints that have provided an outlet for the music, very few can claim to have had anywhere near the influence of the mighty Virus Recordings.
*Ed Rush & Optical, alongside fellow 'tech step' luminaries Matrix, Trace, RymeTyme and later Bad Company and Cause 4 Concern, layed down the Virus template on timeless tracks such as 'Gasmask', 'Watermelon' and 'Medicine', as well as LPs 'Wormhole' and 'Sleepwalk', and within just a couple of years had a seismic influence on the sound of Drum & Bass.
*On his third LP for the mighty Virus Recordings, all, and we mean, all of the tracks are shut-down, stone-cold classics, and as soon as you hear cuts like Mudshark, A.R.P., and the unbelievable Botfly, you'll know exactly what we
mean. Touches of neurofunk, hints of classic techstep and shades of hardstep are found throughout, but Audio is also not afraid to throw out the rulebook and take the music in directions he wants. A master of his craft, his word is the
law, and we are all just pawns in his game.
*Audio's first experience with electronic music was in the Early 90's with the Colin Dale and Colin Favour radio shows on Kiss 100. He was instantly hooked, and when, a few years later, the classic "Wormhole" LP on Virus recordings was released, there was no turning back and he embraced the underground family that we know and love as, Drum and Bass
*The true combination of music and technology can be found in Audio's music, as one of the most experienced producers in the game today unleashes a masterpiece. As always, he has drawn from his wealth of influences, creating a full tableau of sound possibilities, unleashing an array of styles and moods. If you have been searching for that distillation of the essence of the late 90s, but skyrocketed into the future, look no further than the Force Of Nature LP

The late 2010 album 'Soulbooster' from Command Strange is now split in two parts for the collectors.
Plate 2 contains 'You Can't Touch This'.. Command Strange takes the vibe down a bit for a vibing deep roller for those special moments.. If r&b could be d&b then this would be its slow jam..
For the last side we turn to 'Want You Back'.. one last time we crank it up a notch with some good ol rolling breakbeats and smooth piano touches.. A brilliant jazzy roller with a vibe like no other..

*It's long overdue but we are happy to announce the return of MC Jakes to the microphone. An MC who's unmistakable voice and unique style set the scene on fire back in 2006 with the smash hit "Deep".
*Now back on DJ Die's drum & bass juggernaut "Clearskyz" we see him team up with Critical Impact to produce one of the coolest slices of low-slung fun you're likely to hear this year. Clearskyz no.12 sees the second release on the label by local Bristol boy Critical Impact. Already a massive part of Friction's BBC Radio 1 show, this looks set to propel the new kid on the block firmly into the limelight.
*Hold on to your peaks as 'The Illa' drifts in like the red mist, all horror pads and a crisp break pave the way for this rudeboy roller before the trademark vocal flow of Jakes takes control. Dirty, seething bass pierces the mix as some of the dopest lyrics fly over the top for this club system banger, that manages to straddle the heavy dance floor divide whilst keeping things a little left of centre. A sick, sick tune!
*Things then get steamy on the flip as Critical Impact lightens the mood for a snappy liquid groove. 'Specialise In Love' is a fizzing, lush affair with a gorgeous vocal that cuts through the minimal arrangement of smooth chords and delicate guitar riff. One for all the late night dance floors out there, if Swerve was still going this would be its anthem of 2013.

Soul Deep Recordings delivers an excellent 12'' by dRamatic & dbAudio, one of the most exciting duo's in drum & bass the last couple of years. Tastefull, classy and soulful are just a selection of words fitted to describe their music but definitely this EP. It's a great adition to the record bag of any liquid DJ. Apart from the lovely musical vibes you can expect a pair of intelligent rollers hot enough to get folk moving. Get involved!

A1: Flaco - Waiting For Love
* Drawing on the talents of American artist Flaco, 'Waiting For Love' is a pummelling slab of drum & bass for the early morning massive. Frenetic breaks, drifting pads and echoed vocals let you drift away deep into the ether, making for a perfect piece addition to anyone's record box.
B1: mSdoS - Elements Of Jazz
* As the name suggests it's time to dance when the needle drops on this new one from MSdoS. Whilst the piano loops around the Brazilian flavour spills over making a 3am Fabric do the samba each and every time. One to make you smile no doubt.

*Following on from the success of their Spearhead debut 'Meant To Be', Hybrid Minds return with two more slices of musical goodness.
*Back by popular demand, Halcyon features long term Hybrid Minds collaborator Grimm with what is arguably his best vocal work to date.
*Once again giving a lesson in how to keep d&b rolling but deeper than a bottomless pit, New Orleans features the haunting vocals of Holly Drummond.
*Both tracks showcase what has become a trademark for Hybrid Minds, d&b with more emotion than an entire series of the Jeremy Kyle show.
*Support from Bryan G, BCee, AI, Kenny Ken, Technimatic, Nu:Tone and more...
*Technimatic said 'Hybrid Minds' music makes me want to retreat to my bedroom and watch plastic bags being blown in centrifugal arcs by an unknown and unknowable force. We are so insignificant, merely elementary particles popping in and out of existence. Sometimes we adopt superpositions. Sometimes I cry when the bass drops.'
*Hybrid Minds will be releasing their debut LP 'Mountains' late 2013.

Mikal & Break- Status Low
The EP opens with the step out monster 'Status Low' a South country collab between co- conspirators Mikal and Break, It's a DJ tool that stops for no one. The breakdown rolls through with drums and FX and then delves into even lower bass territory. It's a classic Mikal & Break affair- steam train, screw face and stepping.
Mikal- Killa Soundboy
The second of four tracks on the EP is Mikal's contribution to the long lineage of d&b dancehall crossovers, of course with his menacing subterranean outlook firmly stamped on proceedings. Minimal in execution and maximal in impact the track brings introduces the element variety to a very strong EP.
Mikal- Immaterial
A strong nod to 4Hero and Reinforced jungle on this one. Soulful elements really drive this track forward and it becomes clear that this more than just a tribute a certain era, this was obviously a sound Mikal grew up with and his input into this style is more than progressive. The track is a shade of light brought to the table.
Mikal & Nymfo- Clear
The second collaborative track on the EP and this time it's a cross European affair between the UK and Holland. Mikal and Nymfo bring us Clear- a roll out track in its truest form. As you would expect it's a bass led affair that comes into its own via the tracks evolution- midrange, sub low and a chopped breakbeat make for classic Headz material.
4 essential dancefloor tracks from Metalheadz & Mikal!

* The NFM discography reads like a 'whos who' of the cream of Drum & Bass, having released on pretty much every elite label you can think of - Headz, Playaz, Shogun, Digital Soundboy, V...the list goes on and on and on and on. They now touch down on Horizons with the 'Rotor EP' which is some of their best work to date.
* Title track 'Rotor' kicks off proceedings with the classic NFM sound - clean, punchy 2-step drums and deep, twisting sub bass. Skittering hi-hats move in and out of the mix to make this one the very definition of a roller. 'Pantheon' is a more upbeat affair with some vibrant pads setting the atmosphere in the intro before it drops into a rich tapestry of supreme bass manipulation and sweet female vocal snippets.
* 'Actress' is where their old skool influences come to the fore with some organic breaks providing the skeleton for some classic Bristol style sounds to hang from. 'Broadwalk' rounds things off in fine style - A tense, nervous intro makes way for some bleak industrialist drones and tight stepping drum work reminiscent of some of the releases on their own Zoltar label.
* Art meets science at 170bpm...

Limited Purple Vinyl Pressing!
By popular demand, Estonian prodigy Bisweed returns to Paradise Lost to blow things up proper with his sophomore artist release, the Tsar Bomba EP.
The title track 'Tsar Bomba' has a lot to live up to, seeing that the Soviet Tsar Bomba was the
largest ballistic missile ever constructed. No disappointment to be found here, however. The track starts out with a cinematic Soviet-style horn intro before blowing up with one of the heaviest drops this year in Deep Dubstep. This is a quintessential track for the apex of the party. 'Ghosts VIP' takes the infamous original track from Bisweed's first Paradise Lost release to another level of clarity.
This is truly the epitome of Dungeon style, and vinyl fans who enjoyed the original tune will be happy to see this finally hit wax. 'Catacombs' keeps up the dark and murky subbass pressure while 'Question', a collaboration with Ax Farel, is a great wall of detailed soundscapes and percussive intricacies.
The digital release of this EP will also include three additional digi-only tracks:
'Solar System' featuring its long-wound intro and stomping industrial drums, 'Magnetic Field' which is sounding like 'Tsar Bomba's' long-lost cousin, and the jukey, 909-laden Ax Farel Remix of the Bisweed standard 'Ghosts'. Vinyl purchasers will be rewarded doubly - not only with spectacular clear-blue vinyl in a
clear plastic sleeve, but also with download codes for all digi tracks including the three digi-only bonus tracks! This record will look fantastic but will also represent a great historic value: since Bisweed already produces at a level with the genre's best, and we're confident when we say that he's a superstar in the making.

*Another of the most famous drum & bass tracks of all time gets the remix magic courtesy of man of the moment Technicolour. Having now teamed up with Komatic to form the duo Technimatic, you can be sure anything that passes through his studio turns to pure aural delight and here is no exception. Of course as before the original is included too for your all important history lesson.
*Press / Promotion:
DJ Quotes:
DJ Die - Music is one of my favourite tracks ever and the remix is top class!'
DJ Hype - I love the way this remix has not lost the flavour of the original classic
LTJ Bukem - Subtle and smooth rework, love how Technicolour introduces the original Music bells, fading them up in the mix, makes you almost not realize what your actually listening to, love it!
Bryan G - When I first heard this track it felt like a spiritual journey into music. This remix leaves me feeling exactly the same. Mad props to Technicolour, they rolled out one of the biggest classics in drum & bass.
Jack Frost - Music rework is like a brand new record but with that same class and instant appeal as the original recording .. Great record
Lenzman - My first piece of Drum & Bass vinyl was "Music" and I have to say that the Technicolour rework is stunning. A great re-imagining of the original.
EZ Rollers - When remixing a classic such as Music it is easy to get it wrong and difficult to get it right. Well, Mr Technicolour you got it so right! 10/10

'Somewhere' / 'Half the Sky' is the first original material from Blu Mar Ten since 2011's much-lauded Love is the Devil album project.
This is the first single from Blu Mar Ten's forthcoming album Famous Lost Words, scheduled to appear Winter 2013.
Somewhere (feat. Agné Genyté): Somewhere is a smooth, low-key afterhours roller, featuring the slinky vocals of Agné Genyté. Dusty
chords and jazz horns set the smoky atmosphere while a deadly deep sub-bass and pinpoint drums provide the structure for Agné to
bring the melancholy.
Somewhere is a pure fusion of modern dark jazz with drum & bass.
Half the Sky: Updating the sounds of epic 90s 'intelligent' d&b, Half the Sky is an epic soundscape of a track. A monolithic break
powers an intimidating bass while weeping pianos, stuttering vocals,
howling synthscapes and bell motifs tumble around them.

The Visits EP' brings a very warm, and long overdue, welcome to FD onto Dispatch Recordings. An artist we have strongly supported for some time now, has collated an incredibly versatile release that succeeds in satisfying a wide variety of moods.
These five tracks demonstrate the sublime talents of an often underrated producer. For the opening track FD returns alongside Script, for a track reminiscent of their earlier releases, the
EP's lead track - 'Locked Out'. Lulling us into a false sense of security with lush melodic tones, the track completely transforms into a rough, gnarling stepper; clinical snares strike across the rugged terrain, in true screw-face fashion. On the B-side, we are greeted by the illustrious rallies of 'Luisa's Move'. Guided through by evolving layers of percussive flickers, it's the deep, cordial bassline that really grips the emotions; affectionately tying all the components into a subtle, articulate roller. Bleak' is a meticulously formed old skool tribute brought right up to date with throbbing kicks & pounding low ends, all flanked by cleverly chopped
breaks. Separated by an exquisite rave-style breakdown, the heads have something to really savour here....

Brought to our attention by another very talented
Dispatch artist, Lockjaw's music absolutely blew us
away immediately upon first play! An Australian
based producer you'll be hearing a lot more from in
the future, we're pleased to present his first outing
on Dispatch LTD.
Bursting its way through with real confidence,
'Pillars Of Creation' opens up the release in
spectacular fashion. Flickering and teasing from the
start, the drop sets off on a warpath of mechanical
grunts and fierce growls. Despite such a colossal
impact, Lockjaw offers the perfect breathing space,
with a brilliantly crafted breakdown, oozing with
serene, oriental vibes.
The next track 'Vicegrip' sees an interesting take on
neuro-funk, with clean and clinical drums deviating
wonderfully from the dark and rumbling low end.
The nucleus lies in the obscenely gritty guitar riff,
which murmurs ardently beneath the track, holding
all the elements together to powerful effect.
For the third track, we have 'Flatline' to complete
the single, as a digital exclusive. As dangerous and
threatening as the title implies; robotic roars and
rumbles explode into a frenzy, above a cold,
thumping bass that shakes the foundations to....

Savages y Suefo's debut "Worldstyle" came out in early 2013. The eclectic album melts downtempo, dub, hip-hop, world music and electro-swing tunes.
they are continuing the story with some nice remixes in also very different styles. The French trip-hop guru Kid Loco made an radio friendly version from the raw original of "Or Ve Hoshech" a tune sung in old-hebrew language.
Savages y Suefo's longtime friend (dunkelbunt) brought new flavor to "Ballroom Breakers" with wobbling basslines and German vocals from MC Alix. Fab Samperi worked on the same tune, and his deep-swing-bossa idea fits perfect to the original vibe. Datax, one half of the Balkan Vision group made a perfect party drum'n'bass track from "Our World Our Style". M.W.D. did a groovy latin-house from "Baby Gone" while Jan Pyroman produced an atmospheric tune from "Tequila Man".
The vinyl version contains one and a half minutes of extra scratch tools on both sides, while the digital version brings more quality remixes and nstrumentals from MustBeat Crew, Hanzee, Kid Loco and (dunkelbunt). In total we can say that this EP works well in different sets wheter it's played on aparty, in a bar or in the radio.

The Hungarian madman known as Mindscape brings his trademark sound to the masses with "Road Rage EP" - the latest offering on EATBRAIN, the label from the mind of Jade. Under the creative direction of this neurofunk innovator, Eatbrain has presided over countless releases by drum & bass's finest since the label's inception in 2011. 2013 alone has seen Eatbrain work in conjunction with the likes of Telekinesis, Concord Dawn, Coppa, 2Shy, NickBee, and Teddy Killerz, while continuing to expand into a widely supported movement within drum & bass culture. Continuing the streak of quality, Mindscape joins the fold with his first solo EP on Eatbrain - Road Rage EP. The producer has been a close ally of the imprint since it's inception, having worked with Jade on tracks like 'Banshee' (Citrus Recordings), 'Orion' (Commercial Suicide), and Mindscape's own infamous remix of Jade's 'Venom' (EATBRAIN002). With "Road Rage EP", Mindscape delivers his finely tuned artistic vision to Eatbrain; grungy, innovative, riot-starting drum & bass music.
Mindscape - 'Rat Pack'
'Rat Pack' immediately sets the vibe with satisfying plucked keys atop pattering drums and ominous atmosphere. Mindscape doesn't wait for listeners to get comfortable before unleashing two hulking bassline punches on the downbeat, setting the stage for the remainder of the tune. The intro draws to a close, and equally distorted bassline counterparts come into focus. 'Rat Pack' gets serious as aggressive drums converge with riotous vocal snippets to create a potently anarchic concoction. Melodic components descend downward, with a sense of hopelessness. A descent into madness, no doubt.
Mindscape - 'Brightness'
Mindscape provides no-nonsense dancefloor vibes with 'Brightness'. Quickly stepping things up during the intro, 'Brightness' continues to gain momentum as new elements are brought to the forefront. A hefty bassline swings back and forth as the drum programming intensifies, kicking things into full force. Synth stabs converge with an unruly cowbell to increase the pulse rate. Faint vocal-like pads stretch into the breakdown, strangely mystical and bordering upon uplifting, before crashing back down to earth with another heavyweight drop. Mindscape delivers a pure dancefloor bomb with 'Brightness'.

J Fogel aka Stray made his first appearance on Exit
Records in 2011 with the musically rich masterpiece
'Pushed' which featured on the Mosaic Vol 1 mixed
artists LP and was a great insight into his production
ability and an indication that he was a talent about
to flourish. His second outing on Exit was the mighty
'LA Zoom' on Mosaic Vol 2 which was one of the
most anticipated tracks on the album and set the
tone for many of his current productions with the
fusion of footwork, jungle and dnb foundations.
The 'Matchsticks' EP is his first full release on Exit
and comes in the form of a four track 12" with heavy
support from DJs such as Giles Peterson, Mark
Pritchard, Om Unit, Machine Drum Alix Perex,
Annie Mac, Lenzman and dBridge amongst many
more. Picking up from where 'LA Zoom' left off we
stay in the same vein with 'Prof Popper' 'Dropping
Bombs' and his collab with Fracture on 'Bounce
That'. All of which are loaded with energy and have
been going off in DJ sets across the globe over the
last few months. The title....

Few producers understand the dark art of drum & bass as intimately or knowledgably as Basher. A consummate contributor to the RAM legacy for over seven years, he's executed countless precision appearances across the label's extended network. And right now he's about to make his debut on the ever-consistent, next-level focussed Program imprint.'Trojan' says it all. Even the title comes with heavyweight, dangerous connotations. Igniting with icy charm, Basher hurls us headfirst into an ocean of guttural bass and rolling concrete beats. Two low-end leads tightly twist and weave to create an enveloping sense of drama; savage distorted notes hammer his menacing message home while a creamy sub slopes and slithers beneath, tying up the elements to create the ultimate impact. Like the virus, 'Trojan' is instantly infectious; reprogramming your very understanding of groove mechanics.
Next up, 'Weep'. Collaborating with Frankee, 'Weep' is a soundclash of significant proportions. Long-term friends, Basher played a hugely influential role in Frankee's career, inspiring him to explore the studio in the first place. From the second you press play it's clear the two complement each other perfectly; measured, moody and mesmerising, 'Weep' creatively uses tightly clipped vocal shots as percussive and melodic devices that build dynamically before the waves of bass and pneumatic beats sweep you off your feet. Brutal yet bouncy, furious yet funky, 'Weep' is a matchless example of contemporary D&B production.
Two demonstrative damagers for the dark months ahead, Basher's back on the attack and there's no hiding from him. It's time, once again, to get with the Program. Enjoy.

Calyx & Teebee's very own VIP was debuted on Andy C's Warehouse mix back in March. It's been the discussion of forums, backrooms and Twitter feeds ever since. Flipping the rhythm switch from sultry halfstep to a firing 172, it maintains every ounce the original's soul while giving the track an entirely new lease of peaktime life. A lush balance between the original's dreamy reflectiveness and raw, slaughtering bass strikes; it's the epitome of VIP culture. Speaking of VIPs, the second version comes from none other than Calibre. One of the most venerated men in the game, madly this is the first time he's ever released on Ram Records. Naturally he's marked the occasion with an exceptional remix. Reminding us of the track's original deep sentiments, he's applied a series of virgin layers to the blend; spirited pads, a delicate synth arpeggio, a swinging-but-sharp drum arrangement and full focus on Calyx's vocal. One of those tunes that whisks you away to a special place without even realising... Calibre doesn't do many remixes. But when he does, he well and truly nails it.
One killer VIP, one remix from one of drum & bass's most respected individuals. Like we said, there is no messing around here. Enjoy!

Dutch drum & bass imprint Fokuz Recordings twists up the bass one more time with a split EP by Kasper and Intelligent Manners.
'Of The Shadows' by Kasper is a high energy piece of soulful drum & bass. Delayed chords, rolling drums and an abysmal sub make this one a must have for al liquid lovers out there.
On the flip, the EP's title track by Moscow based Intelligent Manners brings some clarity and peace to the 12''. This truly is a feel good track that will shine some light into the darkness as the autumn is approaching rapidly...Top notch stuff coming from the Fokuz camp once again!

For the very first vinyl plate of the Transit 2 album, we present two distinctly separate tracks from right across the broad D&B
production spectrum; both pieces of music presenting something completely different yet both just as damaging as each another.
Leading the 12' is the Skeptical remix of 'Shapeshifter', one of the biggest tracks on the label from 2012 originally produced by
Amoss. Skeptical strips the original right to the core, reworking the familiar vocals of MC Fokus to devastating effect. Enriched waves
of chest rattling bass and an arsenal of interchanging snares & hats develop throughout the track. This remix demonstrates
Skeptical's innovative low-end wizardry perfectly, confirming his reputation one of the most highly regarded and talented producers in
the scene.
The flip sees duo Optiv & CZA combine forces for the first time on Dispatch Recordings, with the colossal 'Sight Unseen'. Starting
the journey with an enticing intro full of mystery, the track smashes into a dark abyss of menacing growls and crisp, quick-fire drums.
These two incredibly talented producers initially entered the scene during the genre's early days, as part of the legendary
Cause4Concern. This year they've been on a warpath with releases on Shogun, Renegade Hardware, Subtitles, Hospital and Med
School! We're especially proud to have this superb track from the guys as part of Transit 2!

For the third single release from the Transit 2 album, we have chosen two tracks that combine pure musicality with complex drum
patterns to great, contrasting effect. Both artists have developed during their time producing this music we know and love, forging
their own distinctive grooves onto this album project; evoking a deeper, more emotive dimension to Transit 2.
Not long since delivering a unique and diverse debut EP on Dispatch, entitled 'Take The Lead', Halogenix returns to a recent
Dispatch classic of his - 'Raya'. Launching the listener into a helix of cascading snares, this couldn't be more of a flip on the original.
Halogenix has done a great job in retaining and enhancing all of the oriental atmospherics we cherished in the first version. It's never
easy to rework such a rich melody without losing impact, however this stunning VIP has brought 'Raya' right back to the center
stage.
EBK embarks on yet another epic journey with 'Strength', his first release for us since the superb 'Show Me' with Octane & DLR last
year. Setting proceedings off with light and subtle pads, the track constantly expands and matures. Warped, nostalgic vocal snippets
linger throughout, bringing those old school elements back to life for today's listener. This track has clearly been meticulously
constructed and perfectly balanced as deep, enriched bass and glitchy, shuffling tops all happen at just the right time. Another one of
those tracks that sits confidently in its place as part of EBK's production highlight reel.

Acid Diaper as he was descriped by the PRSPCT crew earlier this year: There is quite some mystery surrounding this 'new' producer. Even us at PRSPCT HQ have no idea who he is and where he is from. He has chosen to keep his identity secret to the world. Kind of like Batman but instead of fighting bad people this vigilante's goal is to terrorize the world with pure Audio Violence. 4/4, Acid, Gabber DnB designed to torture the average mainstream music listener.
However, us deranged individuals at PRSPCT HQ fucking love it and can assure you.. His tunes rock out hard!!!

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Sun And Bass, the crew have decided to put together a compilation that gives both a
snapshot into the vibe of the festival and also marks this landmark occasion.
As a physical memento, there will be a 12' with two tracks that totally sum up the Sun And Bass vibe.
One side showcases the sublime Calibre remix of Arp XP's 'Winter in Sardinia' track from the 2011 compilation - the remix perfectly
capturing that musical essence the festival is known for, with the original coming from not only a Sardinian artist, but also one of Sun
And Bass's longest standing residents.
The flip exhibits as many ties - a Paradox remix of 'How You Move Me' from Lynx, Hellrazor & Kemo. This tune became one of the
anthems of the festival with Kemo's lyrics taking you deep into the Sardinian countryside. Ever-present Sun And Bass guest Paradox
puts his own twist on the track, taking you even deeper in, a pure, proper slab of real drum and bass.
The package is completed with a digital bundle from many of Sun And Bass's most important stalwarts, including tracks from
dBridge, Ulterior Motive, Seba, ArpXP, Alite and MC Fava, Chris SU and Nymfo, Fracture and Mark System, Code 3, Tokyo Prose and
FD and Collette.
Each of these artists brings forth a piece of music that encapsulates what Sun And Bass means to them, the feelings it gives them
and the place that it takes them to.
The digital bundle will be released in the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled for that - and make sure you're on your toes if you
want to grab one of the super limited 12's that's sure to become a treasured collectors item.
