Zum 100. Geburtstag von Peter Thomas erscheint erstmals eine umfassende Sammlung seiner Musik zur ZDF-Krimiserie DER KOMMISSAR (1969-1976). Die Serie gilt als Meilenstein deutscher Fernsehgeschichte - gesellschaftlich relevant, stilbildend und musikalisch überraschend. Thomas steuerte zu 22 Folgen Musik bei, die von klassischer Filmmusik über Beat und Soul bis hin zu experimentellen Soundcollagen reicht. Die LP/CD enthält erstmals veröffentlichte Titel, darunter Highlights wie "Du lebst in deiner Welt" (Daisy Door), das 1971 die Charts stürmte. Besonders spannend sind die Stücke aus den experimentellen Folgen unter Regie von Zbynek Brynych, in denen Thomas Volksmusik mit Pop und Rock kombinierte. Die Aufnahmen entstanden mit renommierten Studiomusikern wie Jan Hammer, Jiggs Whigham und Olaf Kübler.

Bokkenrijder - eine Hommage an das Überleben, den Widerstand und die Straßen, die uns prägen The Thirteenth Turn bezeichnen Ihre Musik als "knallharten Streetpunk mit Hardcore-Attitüde", und das ist kein Scherz. »High Times – Singles 1992–2006« erschien 2006, erreichte Platz 1 der Charts und wurde mit Dreifach-Platin ausgezeichnet. Die Tour Edition 2025 erscheint als stahlfarbenes Doppel-Vinyl mit Kunstdruck, Booklet und einem von fünf zufällig beigelegten Sammler-Laminaten mit dem Buffalo-Man-Icon.

Das Album umfasst 20 Songs, darunter den Nummer-1-Hit »Deeper Underground«, sieben weitere Top-10-Titel wie »Virtual Insanity«, »Cosmic Girl« und »Canned Heat« sowie weitere bekannte Singles wie »Seven Days in Sunny June« und »Space Cowboy« viele davon feste Bestandteile der aktuellen Live-Shows.

Schon immer schwirrte im Kopf von Husky (Drums / Asphyx, Rotten Casket, ex Sodom, ex Desaster, ex Metalucifer, ex Metal Inquisitor) die Idee herum, eine Band zu gründen, die sich dem puren Thrash Metal widmet und dabei auch einen kanadischen „Razor“-Touch aufweist, ohne jedoch die musikalischen Wurzeln aller Musiker zu verlieren. Auf einem der unzähligen Treffen mit seinem alten Kumpel Patrick (Bass / ex Crematory, ex Apophis) kam es vor zwei Jahren dann auf dem Party.San Open Air zum finalen „lass uns doch mal jetzt was zusammen machen“. Patrick rekrutierte zusätzlich Holg (Gitarre / u.a. Abandoned, Roxxcalibur) und Husky verpflichtete Benni (Vocals / u.a. Knife, The Earwix), um das Line-Up passend zu komplettieren.

Im Juni 2025 traf man sich im niederländischen Enschede, um bei Tom Meier Recordings (u.a. Asphyx, Soulburn, Cryptosis, Graceless, Rotten Casket) ein erstes Demo aufzunehmen. Die Band hat im Anschluss bei niemand Geringerem als High Roller Records einen Deal erhalten, um das Demo als MCD/MLP zu veröffentlichen und auch das folgende Debütalbum wird dort erscheinen.

Der zweite Teil von "Wheels Turn Beneath My Feet" enthält über ein Jahrzehnt von Finks weltweiten Live-Auftritten, von Berlin über London und Amsterdam bis Antwerpen, Paris und Warschau. Beide Formate erscheinen als limitierte Deluxe-Editionen. Die CD im Hardcover mit 24-seitigem Booklet, die 2xLP im Gatefold mit 32-seitigem Booklet, beide Formate mit Glanzmotiv. Fink veröffentlichte 2024 sein hochgelobtes Studioalbum "Beauty In Your Wake" und tourte anschließend ausgiebig um den Globus.

Portraits at the Penthouse: Live in Seattle ist die erste offizielle Veröffentlichung des großartigen Pianisten Bill Evans, aufgenommen live im Penthouse Jazzclub in Seattle, Washington, am 12. und 19. Mai 1966 mit dem Bassisten Eddie Gomez und dem Schlagzeuger Joe Hunt.

Dies ist die achte offizielle Veröffentlichung von Resonance in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Bill Evans Estate und wurde ursprünglich vom Radio-DJ Jim Wilke für den Radiosender KING-FM aufgenommen.

Ten tracks, completely deconstructed and rebuilt by twenty Italian bands, each in their own sonic language. From drone swallowing the void to the most savage death metal, from visceral punk to a fearless flamenco twist, every track becomes an uncharted territory, a journey where arotttenbit's identity dissolves and multiplies into twenty new forms. Most of the recordings were captured by Otto himself with his mobile studio, during a tour across Italy that took him into basements, rehearsal rooms, and underground spaces, harnessing raw and direct energy from the bands in their natural environment. Mixing and mastering then came to life at Otto Engineering Labs, his personal sound-space where everything was stitched together and transformed into a single living organism.

Auf dem 2025 erscheinenden Album spielt / erfindet Pabst den Hyper-Rock. Da crashen die Drums, da stottert die Gitarre vor sich hin, da schwirren Synths von links nach rechts, da überdreht der Bass vollkommen. So etwas kann nur aus einer der wichtigsten deutschen Rockbands ihrer Generation herauskommen! Unterstützung gibt’s erstmals in Form von Features mit den australischen Garage-Legenden DZ Deathrays, der Leipziger Indie-Poetin Blush Always und den britischen Grunge-Punks Snake Eyes.

In 1979, Johnny Thunders, renowned Heartbreakers and New York Dolls guitarist, teamed up with Wayne Kramer, the legendary guitarist of Detroit"s seminal MC5, to form "GANG WAR" - an alliance that lasted the best part of a year. Johnny had just released his So Alone album, and Wayne was not long out of jail after serving two of four years for a coke bust. Although Gang War released no records and were without a label - at the time they were an underground act - in retrospect the collaboration is looked on as a "rock fantasy" supergroup. These live Toronto, Boston & New York recordings bear testimony to this unique partnership between two celebrated rock guitar icons.

Frontman Chris Reifert was already a well-known force on the underground through his time as drummer with Florida's highly respected death metal combo Death. After playing drums on the band's debut album, the much acclaimed 'Scream Bloody Gore', Chris moved back west to the more open climate of San Francisco & formed Autopsy. The band released the demo 'Critical Madness' in 1988 & it wasn't long before Peaceville Records snapped them up in a deal initially spanning 4 albums.

The partnership kicked off in April 1989 with their debut album 'Severed Survival'; a brutal explosion of heavy riffs, tight drumming & a screaming vocal, rounded off with concepts of death, disease & diabolica. This was swiftly followed up with the equally genre-defining 'Mental Funeral' opus in 1991. Released in the autumn of 1995, Autopsy's then fourth & final album before splitting, 'Shitfun', was a glorious scatological gross out & exercise in the limits of extremity & a fitting end to one of the finest bands of a Doomed generation before their return from the grave in 2009 which has continued to go from strength to strength to the current day. This thirtieth anniversary vinyl pressing of 'Shitfun' is presented on bowel- busting limited brown marble- effect vinyl, including the original cover art & printed inner sleeve.
