Cheap Trick is the debut studio album by the American rock band Cheap Trick It was released in 1977 and produced by Jack Douglas, who is a frequent collaborator of the band and known for his work with Aerosmith. The record remains a cornerstone of American rock and roll, capturing a raw, almost menacing edge that distinguished the band from their more polished contemporaries. The album features the more popular songs "He's a Whore", "Elo Kiddies" and "Oh, Candy" and entered the Billboard 200 in the United States, marking Cheap Trick's first appearance on the national album chart. It gave the band early visibility and positioned them within the broader rock landscape of the late 1970s. Death Is Not The End present a collection of recordings of Sacred Harp singing (a traditional sacred choral music with origins in the American South) taken from the late 1920s through to the late 1930s.

Born in Philadelphia in 1943, Barron's journey through the jazz world reads like a tour of its greatest innovators: early work with James Moody, Roy Haynes, and a formative tenure in Dizzy Gillespie's quintet set the stage for a career defined by sophistication, depth, and unmistakable melodic clarity.

Through the 1960s and '70s, Barron became a sought-after collaborator, performing with Freddie Hubbard, Jimmy Owens, Yusef Lateef, Milt Jackson, Jimmy Heath, and Stan Getz. His role in the celebrated ensemble Sphere, alongside Buster Williams, Ben Riley, and Charlie Rouse, further cemented his reputation as a musician equally rooted in bebop tradition and forward-looking modernism.

A 1972 German jazz-rock quintet incredibly tight, fully instrumental, rendered with phenomenal sound engineering. Santana III is an album of 'lasts'. It was the last album recorded with the original Woodstock-line up and the last to hit #1 in the Billboard charts until 1999's Supernatural. But there are also a number of important 'firsts' on this album; Coke Escovedo joins in for the first time on percussion, as does Neal Schon (Journey) - who was a mere 17 of age when they recorded the album - on guitar. Santana III is viewed by many as the band's commercial and creative highpoint. The band sounds darker, rawer, and more eager with the doubling up on guitar of Schon's Rock 'n' Roll sensibilities and Santana's ecstatic high notes and soulful fills. Escovedo and Chepito's percussion are as fast as it is furious, and the minimal production adds greatly to the timeless appeal of this album. Get In Where You Fit In, was originally released in October of 1993 and would be his fourth album in a row to be certified platinum. Production was handled by Ant Banks and The Dangerous Crew, which featured live instrumentation, incorporated P Funk samples, and G Funk synths. The lead single "I'm a Player" sampled Bootsy Collins' funky bass of "Hollywood Squares" and Quincy Jones' son QDIII produced the epic Bay Area G Funk laden classic track "Just Another Day". And it wouldn't be a Too $hort record without some pimp and sex tales like "Blow Job Betty", "All My Bitches Are Gone" and the upbeat "Gotta Get Some Lovin". Bill Withers was a modest, gentle, and yet towering musical figure responsible for some of the most important, universally known soul hits ever written. It’s no wonder that “Just the Two of Us” and “Ain’t No Sunshine” won him two Grammy awards and undoubtedly played a huge role in getting him inducted into both the Songwriters and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Live at Carnegie Hall is Withers' only live album, recorded on October 6, 1973 but not released until April 21, 1973. The fact that Bill got to play his heartfelt and honest soul at one of the most prestigious venues for both classical and pop music speaks volumes: his first two records Just As I Am and Still Bill were really that influential.

Bill Withers' Live At Carnegie Hall was recorded more than 50 years ago on a rainy Friday evening, but it is still regarded as one of the best live performances in the history of Soul music. Withers appears on stage with an ensemble of only the best session musicians the 1970s had to offer: Melvin Dunlap, Ray Jackson, James Gadson, Benorce Blackmon, and Bobbye Hall, at the time one of the few female session percussionists. They all had worked together on Still Bill and had the knack for expanding Bill's intimate songs to fit a hall of that size and stature. And as far as the recording goes, no corners were cut; it really feels like you're up there with them.

The set features evergreens such as "Ain't No Sunshine", "Lean On Me", "Grandma's Hands", but also tunes that are only available as part of this live set, such as "World Keeps Going Around" and "I Can't Write Left-Handed".

Rose Tattoo is the debut self-titled album by Australian hard rock band Rose Tattoo and was released in 1978. It was produced by the famous Vanda & Young team who are most known for their work with AC/DC.

Released in 1985, Green River “Come On Down" was a record existing in its sonic universe out of step with its own time. Was it glam? Was it punk? Was it metal? Was it cool? We now know it was one of the building blocks of what Mark Arm would coin as "grunge" but in 1985 this record was a silent groundbreaker. It was not only the raw, sludgy, slower guitar sound that makes this band important in its place in rock history, but the members of Green River would go on to lead some of the biggest names in the genre: Mudhoney and Mother Love Bone, the latter of which also contained the roots of Pearl Jam. The record includes the iconic original cover artwork, now pressed on black vinyl, and includes a printed inner sleeve with lyrics and photo of the original master tape box, plus an unreleased rare bonus track!

The band The Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies emerged in 1991 in the Nashville blues scene. With their jam-oriented style, they quickly made a name in the live circuit and attracted the attention of major labels and ended up in the Billboard charts.

In 1996, they released their second album Magnolia. It was produced by Michael Barbiero (The Allman Brothers Band, Blues Traveler) and features a guest appearance by Warren Haynes of Gov't Mule. The album became a fan favourite and had two singles that appeared on the US Rock chart. Now, 30 years later Magnolia remains a Southern Rock classic and will finally be available on vinyl.

Zed Bias is an artist that needs little introduction. The main moniker of Manchester’s Dave Jones, over the past 25+ years he’s cemented himself as a crucial figure in UK garage and dance music as a whole. He’s remixed hundreds of artists including Whitney Houston, The Streets and Azymuth, been nominated for a MOBO award and, through his more experimental take on 2 step garage, helped lay the foundations for the development of bass music into dubstep. For this new release he teams up with Ghanaian-British producer and DJ, MJK. Earmarked as ‘One To Watch’ by DJ Mag, and similarly championed by Mixmag, MJK’s sound draws from the worlds of bass, grime, house and beyond.

Opening track ‘Keep On Livin’’ sees Zed Bias and MJK coming together in the studio. Passed to Luke by his manager If Khan, it’s a sonic alchemy rooted in black heart soul music yet seen through a prism of bass futurism. A heads-down cut of driving techno, with nods to Detroit, and firm UK foundations, that is both bass-heavy and otherworldly. It’s a simple yet effective, entrancing combination of percussion, bass, and keys, peppered with old soul samples that lock you into a groove and never let go. On the flip, MJK steps up solo with ‘Late to Camberwell’, diving into deeper, late-night territory. Known for his three-deck DJ mixing style, MJK has a real understanding of how to layer elements to keep people moving. A swirling cosmic feel reverberates through ‘Late to Camberwell’. Drum hits, shakers and synth loops are weaved together in style, creating a dose of deep, immersive rolling house. In Luke’s own words, “I found it very exciting to hear a new artist create such a beautiful sound that reminded me of Detroit and Artwork's late ‘90s techno alias Grain. It’s stripped-back raw house music of the highest calibre”.

Younger Than Yesterday is The Byrds' fourth album and was originally released in 1967. As on its predecessor, the album features elements of psychedelic rock like experimenting with new musical textures, including brass instruments and reverse tape effects.

On the other hand, the first country and western influences can be found on the album, being early indicators of the country rock direction the band would pursue on their later albums. Younger Than Yesterday is considered one of The Byrds' finest albums., as illustrated by the fact that Rolling Stone magazine, who ranked the album at #124 on their 2003 list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Cromby delivers a four-track EP built for the dancefloor, each cut hitting a different shade of club energy. On the A-side, Love on Tenderhooks kicks things off with a high-octane bassline, euphoric builds, driving organ and haunting vocal hook. It's followed by All Night, a deeper, darker roller driven by sub bass, dubby textures and a relentless groove. Flip it over and On Target takes a more trippy turn, riding a warm, bumping bassline with swirling, psychedelic vocals drifting across the mix. Closing things out is The Beat, a percussion-led groover that locks into a hypnotic rhythm and keeps the floor moving.
