Those who have been following Laurent Garnier, would know that for a long time know the multiple attributes of this artist, and how his status as "best DJ in the world" is only a shortcut used by default. It must be said that this man is gifted with an extraordinary sense of combat, and that he has been fighting for many years to impose good music onto the public. Laurent Garnier has always refused ghettos and prefer action, he does not support repetition, even less compromises and certainly not downtime.

Mint Tea presents the next edition of its VA series Basic
Contact, with artists hailing from the UK, Estonia and
Georgia. This VA combines tracks from Abdul Raeva,
Boulderhead, Zobol and Toke. Side A encapsulates the
psychedelic groove ridden dance §oor focused styles of
Abdul Raeva and Boulderhead. The B-side showcases the
more uplifting ‘light and airy’ side of Zobol’s melody enriched
productions intertwined with Toke’s fully charged

Sought after remixes of one of the North West’s favourite old skool anthems Sarasota ‘We’re Gettin’ Hot’. This limited edition colour vinyl EP split across two parts includes Sarasota’s 25th anniversary mix and edit on the uplifting house tip, the original 1996 mix that doubles down on the old skool style piano vibe, plus the Da Fool 1999 remix which uses the same bell sound, although a different melody, as ‘Meet Him At The Blue Oyster Bar’ to maximum effect.

B.I.T. Productions was set up in 1995, kicking off with a bang by releasing the white label monster, The Crowdpleasers ‘I Want You To Know’ which sampled Quench ‘Dreams’. Over the next 5 years, the label produced tracks of varying styles: Da Fool ‘Meet Him At The Blue Oyster Bar’ (licenced to FFRR), quintessential ‘A Day To Remember’, 2 Smashing Blokes ‘M.F.’ etc, receiving DJ support from the likes of Pete Tong, Graham Gold, Stu Allan, Rob Tissera, Colin Tevendale, James Bradley, Steve Lawler, Lisa Pin-Up, Andy Farley, Lisa Lashes etc.

After a 20-year hiatus, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the B.I.T. Productions first release in 1995, mid 2020 saw the production team get back in the studio and create five new mixes to go along with three previous mixes for one of the North West’s favourite old skool tracks, Sarasota ‘We’re Gettin’ Hot’.

A Credible Eye Witness & Ghost Ride team up once again to deliver another milestone of an EP, their third to date altogether! Traveling at light speed from planet to planet on a mission to make you dance, the Electro Scuderia proudly presents four brand new tunes tinted with robotic and funky tones. Heading 'Striptrix' introduces on A side a rhythmic electro cut made of cosmic swirls fused into Techno textures while well cadenced 'Khepresh' coming next links emotive synth elements to hypnotic arpeggios, gloomy pads and dreamy bleeps. Top notch! Climax of the 12', cerebral 'Spell Checker' combines on the reverse subtle oriental overtones to glimmering beats, ethereal synths and intelligent IDM beautifulness, leading the way to Detroitish 'Tias'. The most energetic track concludes the vinyl with a groovy trip, flavored with acidic notes and warm melodic flights! Craftily written and produced, 'Locked Loops' continues the voyage through cosmic universe started on A.C.E.W's previous release. An ultra dancefloor release powerful enough to penetrate any crowd!

Spray, founded in 2020, is a Berlin based record label providing the freshest old and new trance infused house, breaks, acid and downtempo sounds. The label focuses on reissuing slept-on ‘90s gems and aims to provide a platform for new artists. The first release brings in an outstanding reissue from one of LA’s finest artists from the ‘90s ‘Dimension 23’ including a remix from Spray favourite, Or:la - the perfect sonic combination between old and new and a testament to what the label aims to project.

Push presents Retro Active heads up our next vinyl release with the four-track techno monster, Blacked Out. The main man is relentless in his pursuits, churning out top-notch grooves, sending the crowds into a frenzy. Mostly known for his trancey exploits, Push is no stranger to techno, some of his very first releases were full blown techno efforts before he branched out to other genres. Retro Active focusses on all things big and bold in the techno arena, with a classic twist. Always a pleasure having his on Bonzai.

First up in the A1 slot, Blacked Out intros with a monstrous, pounding kick drum and slicing hi hat combo. An underlying bass rumbles through the groove as techy, rave synth stabs and infectious rising sirens come through. The track breaks to reveal a subtle 303 line which transforms into a gnarly acid riff, ushering in a massive climax that will dominate the floors no doubt. A2 hosts the equally full-on Dusk Till Darkness, which delivers a mesmerizing experience. The bass drum, with its trailing bass tones is powerful and forces you to move as rhythmic elements fade in. An almost industrial level is reached with metallic sounds dominating, making this a must have for the big arenas. On the flip, in B1 we have, Hands Alert which sets the tone with another huge kick drum and bright hi hat combination. A solid, rhythmic track, thanks to an array of perfectly arrangement percussions and drums, the groove soon bursts into a climactic rave goliath. Classic sounds litter the sound as retro 303 lines converge to create a chugging groove. An absolute stomper that is not to be missed. In B2, Dark Motion closes out the 12” with an all-encompassing banger of a tune. Heavy duty kick drums power the track as stuttering hats cut through the murk. A dark, sinister vibe emerges as gnarly pads fade in alongside frantic arpeggios. A scathing 303 line erupts on the break before the drums kick back in for the final act, sending the dancefloor into a frenzy. Top-notch stuff.

GoaTekk is a mind blowing blend of sharp breakbeat rhythms and flying Goa Trance feeling with a huge blow of Acid influence. On this 5 dancefloor killer tracks plate you will find the diverse palette of mutating genres. The opener ‘deleting_your_data313’ is a tribute to Techstep domination times: gated Reese bass with evolving trance pads goes together on the basement of classic break. Next comes the ‘digital_trance’ stomper - rolling 101 baseline, huge 4x4 kick served with 303 acidline and vocal stabs in breaks. The second side starter - minimalistic ‘primal_code’ utilizes fast 808 drum pattern alongside with ripping roaring acid lead which conquer all frequency spectrum. B2 ‘hyperplane’ is a heavy mid tempo Electro tune with long tailed pitfall and flangy 101 bass. The closing one, ‘poison_bit’ creates a dreamy soundscape where fast 160pbm Juke drum pattern interflow with gated Goa pads and melancholic 101 arpeggios. The ultimate seduction....

As &on&on, DJ's Noni and Worth Way have been making some serious waves over the past year, being named one of DJ Mag top artists to check out in 2022 and also featured on Disclosure's DJ Kicks compilation.

On their first release on the label, the duo boast their prowess in composing uplifting, melodic dance music which draws on myriad influences to create unique and innovative sounds. Whilst every track on Mentalphysics has fun and festivity at its core, some take their inspiration from disco ('Mid Valley'), whilst others from groovy deep house ('All Day') or breakbeat ('Delta T'). Finally, 'Melted' subtly evokes speed garage in the way the bass dips, giving the track lots of depth and 'Samo' brings things to an anthemic close with reverberating cymbals filling any space with body and movement.

Belgium Trance was at its commercial peak during those years and while Dj's showcased their skills on national television (TMF!), a new group of producers stood up injecting the lively scene with big tunes. The often dramatic and dark melodies that defined their typical sound can be found again in the four club bangers collected on this first EP. Rank 1 is a Dutch electronic dance music DJ/producer duo founded by Piet Bervoets and Benno De Goeij in 1999. They’re one of Europe’s most established, respected dance acts, having been catapulted to stardom by their debut release “Airwave”. Rank 1 has been responsible for various theme tracks and anthems to large indoor Trance events: “Airwave” (Innercity), “Such Is Life” (Sensation 2001), “Sensation Anthem 2003” (Sensation 2003). Their biggest hits “Airwave”, and “Awakening” earned them three Golden records in the Netherlands.

Their only studio album Symsonic was originally released in 2002 and features the singles “Airwave”, “The Citrus Juicer”, “Awakening” and “Such Is Life”. This critically acclaimed album is available on vinyl for the first time as a 20th anniversary edition of 2000 individually numbered copies on translucent blue coloured vinyl. This expanded edition of Symsonic includes the additional remixes of “Breathing (Airwave)”, “Such Is Life”, “It’s Up To You”, and the official “Sensation Anthem 2003”.

I've been away from music for a while, but inspiration and the need to create brought me back to revive one of my earliest passions.

Again, this is a compilation of tracks reflecting plenty of aspects and faces of the dance scene. I consider them to be true ‘B-sides’.

The emotionally stirring sound of Mathame is back on Afterlife. Their signature, processed vocals shine on the infectious and entrancing ‘For Every Forever’. It’s a sound they have developed over their releases for Afterlife and is now truly their own. A Dub Mix of the title track offers a slightly more pared down alternative. ‘Stairway 3000’ completes the record, an eyes-down roller with a bassline to shake any room to its core.

Yellow Screen: Originally released on November 19, 1999.

It was the starting point of a beautiful musical adventure between Mr Sam & Fred Baker.

This first E.P. is composed of 3 tracks :

A side : Out Of Time / B1 : Greatest Hope / B2 : Inside My Soul.

For the story, Inside My Soul was composed first, we were looking for each other musically speaking. The result is a very good track rather clubby in its atmosphere. Great classic of the Bush after party and still played nowadays.

Then came Greatest Hope, faster bpm with a techno groove a la "Underworld" with a break where the beautiful strings form a stunning contrast. In the end this track is a perfect example of the versatility we had in the studio.

Finally, the pearl of the E.P. and the stumbling block of the rest of the series, in a way the founding stone of our touch, our so atypical style, in other words our signature.

As you may know by now, the main inspiration for this now legendary track came from Sasha "Belfunk". Mr. Sam used to play it a lot at the Bush every week as a DJ and absolutely wanted to do the « Belgian version » of Belfunk. This Sasha record really served as a template like a recipe.

From memory the record was produced from start to finish in one afternoon take. It was immediately tested at La Bush in the following days and nothing was changed afterwards.

For your information, the entire series was composed in Tournai (Belgium) not far from La Bush Club. It is important to know that all the music that was composed for the series, was done with the intention that it be played at La Bush. The atmosphere of the club and the music was without a doubt the main source of our inspiration.

Beside beeing constantly hunted from techouse police, infamous Chemistry Radio continues to transmit 90's underground music.

Not easy to stop it!

Born in 1989, Daniele Tomassini aka Feel Fly, dj, producer, sound composer (he recently completed the soundtrack for the movie I
Santi by Giacomo Abbruzzese, awarded at the prestigious CineMed festival in Montpellier), co-founder of the Afro Templum party, already
known for his previous works for labels such as Prins Thomas’ Norwegian Internasjonal or the Ibizenca International Feel, lands on
Simona Faraone’s label, New Interplanetary Melodies, with his first EP, after having made his debut on the same label as remixer on
the EP signed by Leo Young (NIM005).

The entire EP is inspired by the ancient and mysterious Etruscan culture, whose peoples inhabited the historical-geographical region of
central Italy: all the tracks that compose it were in fact conceived under the cloister of MANU (National Archaeological Museum of Umbria) in Perugia.

The title track, Sacrificio (A1) opens the album with an ecstatic drum-break on which powerful subs stand out, catapulting you directly
into the obscure rituals of the haruspices, intent on interpreting the signs of the divine, with the help of mysterious pads and shimmering
synths like fires in the night.

Side A continues with Hypnopedia (A2), House music characterised by pressing rhythms and sharp rides that transport us into a dreamy
dimension, a nostalgic, evocative dream of worlds that now belong only to the sphere of memory. While in Aisna (A3), which closes the
first side, the atmosphere changes decidedly towards progressive house, a sound that has become topical again in recent years, after
having raged in the second half of the 90s in those lands that were once called Etruria. And just as the Aisna was an early morning ritual
held in a field or a sacred wood, this track has all the makings of a rave at the crack of dawn.

The B side starts on the same wavelength with which the first side closed, Afro Trance Amnesia (B1), in fact it maintains that feeling
with the most sweaty dancefloors thanks to its epic breaks and vaguely Trancey arrangements that rest on dragging and obsessive
percussions able to smash any kind of dancefloor. With Thi Rie (B2) the groove becomes decidedly more disco thanks to a rolling bass
line interspersed with powerful toms and full of suspense thanks to the skilful use of enigmatic pads.

Étoile Romance (B3) is the title of the beautiful piece of Ambient that closes this first EP by Feel Fly on NIM, 6 minutes and more of
dreamy arpeggios that fit perfectly into the groove of that Italian tradition of soundtracks and library music that has produced so many
masterpieces.

Leeds based party On Rotation launches it’s record label with a LP from resident Adam Pits. His debut album ‘A Recurring Nature’, draws inspiration from time spent in nature with friends during a year when clubbing was an impossibility. Over the course of 8 varied tracks, Adam moves between club slammers and spaced-out introspective downtempo with ease, showing off the production skills that have made him one of the most talked about names of late.



Combining the unique style of his previous club EPs with organic sound design and his own classical cello background, the psychedelic sonic palette is reminiscent of long summer days foraging for mushrooms and other treats from the undergrowth.

As one of the people behind the taste making Subwax distribution & label, Baldo's pedigree within the European electronic music community cannot be under stated. Here he pulls together seemingly disparate threads of house & techno from both the past and present to create a well rounded and diverse EP on E-Beamz, from the reminiscent 90's garage house sounds of 'Ethereal Tubes' to the acid tech of 'Drive' and the unashamedly hands in the air stomper 'Ex Machina' (Power House Mix).

Mogambo knit together a heady, hypnotic sound from the many enigmatic strands of Asia’s musical cultures: the deep traditional instrumentations of Siam and India, the high-tech edge of modern Bangkok and the rich Goan bloodline of trance. The results are both otherworldly, yet instantly comprehensible.

And now the duo, consisting of producer Sunju Hargun and multi-instrumentalist Jerom Doudet, return with the latest missive from their own aptly-titled Siamese Twins Records: Urvi (उर्वी).

The much- anticipated follow-up to their sought-after debut 12” Cobra (कोबरा) is a multi-layered sound bath, as versatile as it is visceral. Urvi ranges from meditative sonic explorations to fearless entrancing rhythms and basslines, tangled together from the mysterious East.
