Alessandro Diga, a young talented dutch artist, delivers 3 solid techno tracks for the fifth release on the BergWacht record label. Phaedra' starts with a great bassline and goes into a warm melodic techno track with a lot of emotions, dreamy synths and it goes along with a clear hihat. The track is able to be dreamy and not cheesy at the same time. Sonora' is grounded on a rolling bassline and clear hi-hats as well, it goes over in nice effects with outstanding breaks, but it finds back to the starting rhythms. Dahlia' the hidden B-2 track transmits a deep journey with melancholic feelings.

Back in 1999 Wulfmanson made his first ever appearance on the production circuit with two untitled tracks on the praised Cologne-based underground label Hotel Lotte and now, 17 years later we've unearthed a long forgotten stack of original copies for all collectors and experimental DJs out there.

Originally limited to 500 copies we see Wulfmansons create both nice, repetetive vibes of Electronica Dub with a touch of Ambient music on the A-side whilst providing a thrilling, fast-paced and bass heavy killer Electro music cut on the flip. Gut this!

From the fantastical pop opera of Constellations to Acrylic's delicate euphoria, the album plunges us into a thrilling whirlpool of unexpected sonics, arrangements and themes, effortlessly picking up the vocabularies of jazz, world music, modern classical drum & bass, and colliding them together to produce symphonies of influence that are both familiar and yet totally unheard.

The journey is made complete by Lily Juniper, whose charming vocals gracefully pull Frederic's labyrinthine ideas into focus, unifying emotions like an astronomer making sense of the night sky.

Frederic Robinson's debut album 'Mixed Signals' exploded beyond the usual boundaries of the dnb scene, receiving universal praise from fans and artists in almost every other electronic music genre, from BBC6 music's Tom Middleton to Hospital Records' London Elektricity. In 2013 Frederic Robinson turned drum and bass on its head with the incredibly inventive and adventurous album, 'Mixed Signals', released on Blu Mar Ten Music.

In the three years following 'Mixed Signals', Frederic has been developing his spectacular live show, experimenting with new instruments and technologies, and, naturally, working on his stunning follow up LP, Flea Waltz.

'Flea Waltz' expands and improves on Mixed Signals, bringing a new sense of clarity, sophistication and playfulness and is unquestionably one of the finest electronic albums of 2016.

No artist info on this one, but the label seems somehow familiar. A few DJs have been ending sets with these tracks but not releasing any info about them. Now they are getting a release all on one record

Machinefabriek's new album, Crumble, is a long-form composition full of dramatic turns, immersive drones, glitchy electronics and intimate gestures. The long form piece was made by having violin player Anne Bakker and vocalist Edita Karkoschka improvise on an electronic track, and using these recordings (and added electronics and field recordings) to sculpt the 34 minute Crumble. Crumble was mastered by Lawrence English and will be self published by Machinefabriek, in an edition of 200 cds & download.

33 offers the most fine and rare form of sensitivity. Nery blends electronic and acoustic patterns as if they grew up together, proving that having differentiated influences can result in something particular. If "Silent Light" brings the uttermost Flying Lotus feelings, where Nery's beat dizziness and its multiple percussion atmosphere drags to a Super Mario gameplay, "Snake's Head" pushes soul to a modern era, where every backing vocal, drum beat, and synth is exactly where it should breathe. Demonstrating an incredible understanding to drive us between worlds, each track presents something fresh but somehow related with our own innocence: from the organic and delicate textures in tracks, "Give U" and "Mom" where Teebs and Shigeto can be felt on the horizon, to a dauntless and original pop beat in "Jealous" or to the swirly dance between synths and guitars creating a sui generis coloured pattern ambience in "Jigsaw About Noise Known Illusion" like an aurora borealis. 33 takes us to journey of reality and fantasy where the Portuguese producer spent more time in studios, while recording musicians and searching for unique details than producing his tracks. To fully dress his musical drawings, Nery summoned fourteen artists, including jazz musicians, percussionists, singers and producers: including for instance the Austrian-Taiwanese Soia (worked with Raashan Ahmad (Jakarta Records) and Jazzo & Melodiesinfonie (Soulection) - the Belgian movie director Margo - remixed by LTGL (Tangram) - or the Portuguese Elisa Rodrigues - vocalist from These New Puritans - as singers, the wonderkid producer Holly and the Berklee College awarded Andre Fernandes, which make 33 even more balanced and brighter. As a debut album, 33 reflects an immediate and impregnated delicate sense of palpable feelings. Nery's meticulous management of silences and texture dynamics lead us to an odyssey of each one's own essence.

Pariah returns to R&S for his third single.His debut 'Detroit Falls/Orpheus' marked a turning point for the label, as it turned its attention to a young, new breed of producers on its doorstep in London. The follow up 'Safehouses' doublepack found him mining his influences further and developing his sound over six tracks and became one of the labels most celebrated and best selling recent releases.
Since then he has collaborated with Blawan on the Karenn project which has spawned DJ appearances at the best clubs in Europe, vinyl only releases, remixes and a forthcoming live show, and also delivered one of the stand out tracks to the IOTDXI compilation with 'Left Unsaid'.
The initial blueprints for the three tracks on this new release were created from sampling short wave radio recordings, not the most obvious starting point for making tracks, but Pariah isn't your average or obvious producer. He's gradually building a canon of evocative, beautiful and honest music that is quite rightly receiving both critical and commercial acclaim.

Morning Dew have been psych collector faves for ages. Their sole release, "At Last" (much like the Morgan album) becomes more obviously crucial with each passing year. After recording their legendary album for Roulette in 1969, Morning Dew headed back to Topeka feeling good about their prospects. But Roulette had problems. They did finally release "At Last" late in 1970... and marketed it so well it became a psychedelic rarity and a cult favorite. Even so, Morning Dew's producer at Roulette urged the band to record a demo of songs for a second album. They went to a local studio in August 1970 and blasted out eight songs, bolstered by new recruit Ferdy Baumgart's Hammond B3. Band leader Mal Robinson also made acoustic two-track recordings in his basement: new songs, plus others from the Morning Dew repertoire—just vocal and guitar. The band gigged while Roulette and it's honcho Morris Levy withered under scrutiny by law enforcement. A second album came to nothing. Still under contract with Roulette and still dealing with broken promises, burnt out and broke, Morning Dew disbanded in June, 1971. But those demos... they need to be heard. That's where we come in. Two records, chock full of your new favorite Morning Dew songs, plus solo acoustic versions of band classics like the monumental 'Crusader's Smile,' alternates, and more, most of which is previously unreleased. One more thing: all of this material is making its vinyl debut.

When faced with the decision to take a different direction at the risk of getting lost in a synthetic sound or to further explore the same musical path, Vaudou Game didn't need to consult the oracle for very long when putting together their new album. Since their first acclaimed album, Apiafo and its irresistible single "Pas Contente", these Lyon natives never turned down the heat on over 130 stages across Europe, Africa, America and Asia. Peter Solo has displayed his amulets, charisma and yellow pants around the globe.

When time came for them to harness their Afro-Funk sound for the second time, they turned their attention once again to their analog strengths. Vintage material, instruments produced in the 70's and cassette tapes were the "grigris" (or lucky charms) which proved most effective to ward off digital corruption of their music and return them to a tight-knit group with a solid groove.

This unbeatable trance rhythm, inherited from James Brown and Fela, icons of Funk and Afrobeat, becomes trident when joined by Mawu, the creative voodoo divinity hidden in each of the group's notes. This inspiration transcends their spirit of communion, plunges them deeply into Mother Earth and results in the telepathic trance which is directly connected to Togo Peter's native Togo.

Each song then becomes a celebration where the listener becomes the group's voodoo doll, embraced by the rhythm, submitting itself to the mercilessly metronomic cutting of guitars, struck by the copper-colored flashes of lightning forged by the African voodoo deity Hevioso, pierced by the psychedelic visions generated by the organs and a six-string guitar, cheerful songs, and hypnotic incantations.

KIDAYU means "sharing" in Kabye, the language spoken in northern Togo. Sharing, is the philosophy of Vaudou Game - both in their recorded music and on stage.
