Keny G’s “Permission” (A1) escorts us into the tech house domain, laced with late 2000s tech house resonances yet revamped for today's ear. Its throbbing beats and echoey cymbals craft a catchy rhythm that bridges reminiscence and novelty, tempting foot-tappers to immerse in its enchanting pull.

Gonzalo Villarreal’s “Segment Two (Ian Oskadev Remix)” (A2) alongside Genning’s “Observation Glass Scenery” (B1), submerge deeper into dub techno mysteries, spinning a narrative filled with enigma and allurement. Both pieces radiate dark but potent vibes whereby profound basses mingle with ghostly tunes crafting auditory terrains full of allure and secrecy. Experimental dub techno duo Dialog present their first officially released live recording. Captured at the intimate French festival Pe:rsona, from the team behind the Positive Education events, the recording captures Samuel van Dijk (VC-118A) and Rasmus Hedlund exploring mechanical rhythmic impulses and organic tones and textures—malleable metallic and elemental forms passing through chasms of processing and shrouded in womb-like melancholic hum.

Across two sides of immersive, head-nodding sonics, Dialog take the principles of dub techno into forward-thinking territory with a distinctly tactile approach to sound design—a mind-melting listen for casual chillers and committed voyagers alike.

Joshua Kit Clayton released very inspiring music during the late 90’s. Forward-thinking minimal-dub-techno that influenced many artists and labels such as Vertical Forms and Scape. Joshua later designed the MSP/MAX program that is used by artists like Aphex Twin and Autechre and a major influence on the IDM, Minimal Techno sounding music.

The universally recognized Gradient, gives us 'Flight Above the Fog' and like the title alludes to, it accomplishes. Elegant and tempered, it chooses the smoothest route, washing over the listener with absolute dream-like euphoria. Vapnik closes the 12" with a fantastic reinterpretation of the Marco Hessler track 'Spacewaves'. The scintillating chord work is an audible thrill while the subdued drop towards the middle is pure magic. Another strong artist who really brings the heat. NEXV002 ‎is the ideal example of a 4 track EP that features no holes. All killer and no filler.
