The emotionally stirring sound of Mathame is back on Afterlife. Their signature, processed vocals shine on the infectious and entrancing ‘For Every Forever’. It’s a sound they have developed over their releases for Afterlife and is now truly their own. A Dub Mix of the title track offers a slightly more pared down alternative. ‘Stairway 3000’ completes the record, an eyes-down roller with a bassline to shake any room to its core.

Basic Moves are teaming up with Listen! Festival again for the 3rd year in a row to curate a stage presenting artists from the past and new talent for the future. This year’s promotional tool is something tactile and very common in the Basic Moves world… It’s a 12” vinyl record!

As ever, Cocoon Recordings celebrate the turn of the year with another mouth-watering collection of electronic music. Dots And Pearls Volume 7 includes eight choice techno cuts of varying shapes and sizes, that somehow manage to acknowledge both past and future, while staying forever rooted in the ‘here and now’.
The lush, beach bar vibes of ‘Halluzinelle’ get things rolling courtesy of DeFeKT x Extrawelt, and it’s not long before we’re lost in the subsonic undertow as the warm acidic vibes ebb and flow. Sudo’s
‘Daytona’ then compliments a dark, low-slung groove with a soaring, nostalgic melody that reaches skywards, melting hearts and minds in the process. ‘Solaris’ takes a more urgent turn as JA:CK utilizes growling synths, stuttering arpeggios and an elongated breakdown, slowly raising the stakes as the dance floor starts folding in on itself. Avision offers no respite on ‘Groove Theory’, maintaining the intensity while surfing the frequencies through a dense forest of loops with a pounding 909 for company. Zzino & Insider continue the 90s leaning retrospective with ‘Mind Crush’ and they’re certainly true to their word, juxtaposing razor-sharp acid arpeggios with seductive chords and analog washes in a cavernous, serotonin-soaked epiphany of sound. Monaco, Povoa then gets downright dirty on ‘Makeup Artist’, raising the tempo with freaking metallic riffs, twisted vocals and a plethora of disorientating filter action that’ll push even the most headstrong dancefloor to the brink of implosion.
Defex, Tsodor reels it in just in time on the epic ‘Sieg der Liebe’, unleashing thick swathes of melancholy chords over a fat, rolling groove and the beats remain broken to the end, as Christopher
Ledger closes things out with a classic slice of sci-fi electro. ‘X24’ is all stuttering edits, intricate sequences, squelching fx and metallic bleeps, adding yet another unexpected dimension to this dynamic compilation series.

Claudio PRC returns to Delsin with a fabulous follow up to his Rites Of Passage EP earlier in 2021. Four tracks of proper deep and compelling techno rides with Kaiko as a closer hinting to a more housier side of the established Italian producer.

Great Minds Think Alike, would be a good argument to define the merger of the two minds behind Immaterial, the eleventh release by HC Records, signed by Siarem, a producer from Albacete who previously starred in the label's third release, and Estrato Aurora, legendary Valencian musician former member of Lontano, Pajaro Dune and Mini Service. Both have found a complicity and joint impulse that have brought their creative character together in this fruitful union.

Navigating the dunes of the planet Arrakis has never been so delightful, since Peace, the track with which the record begins, takes us to dreamlike landscapes of infinite horizons in which a deep intimacy develops along the way. A warm broken rhythm, relying on a hypnotic and thick bass, leads the development while being wrapped in multiple sound layers in which velvety pads, melancholic synths and pulsating keys caress our ears like raindrops, thus recreating a mysterious atmosphere typical of unexplored universes, advancing towards the second part of the song, where a second group of harmonies answer and complement the main ones generating a genuine electronic ode.

The second part of our dreamy journey reaches with Teleonomia, an exercise in sound synaesthesia that projects a golden and brilliant musical landscape in which a succession of harmonic sound layers and robust bass lines intertwine with surgical precision around a broken rhythm with a firm and surrounding impact.

The B-side of the vinyl takes us out of our reverie with the pure, and at the same time evolved, EBM by Siarem, a concept that Deeper Side exudes. This one is a track that reminds us of the best B-sides of the pioneers of the Belgian sound but with the sharpness and definition of the 21st century. Rugged basses and gritty voices encouraging urban combat. This track was chosen by Techno Baron Dave Clarke on his White Noise show to kick off 2021.

The influence of the American sounds that arrived in Valencia at the end of the 80's leave their mark on La base Medi, much more than the typical dj-tool with which to wreak havoc in the dance floor. A forceful bass drum in line with unsyncopated cadences, a dominant bass and a multitude of percussions of different nature in almost six minutes of infectious hypnotic dance.

In My Dreams gives the finishing touch to this release by delving into the helical gliding compositions inspired by 70's psychedelia, inducing the listener into a complex trance state close to nirvana.

400 ppm is the first of the digital bonus tracks that accompany the vinyl, an exercise in hypnotism and rhythmic meditation built on the basis of enveloping frequencies and a marked and devastating broken rhythm. The second and last broadside in digital format arrives with Vectors, a sidereal trip to the beat of crystalline electro charged with emotion and reflection. Quite a potential anthem.

The graphic aspect of the album has been the responsibility of Dani Requeni, who has focused on the vaporous and evanescent aspects of the work.

Finally, and as usual since the first release, the album master was conducted at Black Monolith Studios London by Steve Voidloss.

Brighton-based Caldera is a talent behind the decks, but is perhaps even more remarkable in his studio expertise: his subtle productions weave a seemingly effortless sense of pace and texture, groove and abstraction, weight and space. For this colourful outing he channels - in turns - David Moufang, Thomas Fehlmann, Yanneck Salvo, and Sebastian Meissner, with deep techno, sumptuous house and beguiling ambience the bewitching end product.

Taking a more euphonic approach the release delves into a more blissful sound with graceful seductive melodies but still with his distinctive rolling energetic touch.

Invisible Menders are back. After a long hibernation, the duo of Jane Fitz and Dom finally release their long-awaited return to Animals On Psychedelics, the Dream Forest EP. Opening track Dārukā is deep trip to the heart of the forest floor. It comes backed with a pure trance remix from good friend SYO (aka S.O.N.S). Also included Weather Obsessives, remixed by in-demand Dutch producer Eversines, who twists the original into break-fuelled bliss.

Third EP from Raar on his own label, it features his signature dreamy techno. From the brain melting percussions and vocal of A1 to the more experimental breakbeat rhythms and modular rumbles of the B2. Four tracks that will fit any deep and emotive moment on the dance floor.

Late last year, Canadian producer Priori returned with his second album ‘Your Own Power’ to great acclaim. Released via his NAFF imprint, the album showcased a more contemplative style to his productions and featured one collaborative track with label partner Ex-Terrestrial. The story continues as Priori enlists a heavyweight line-up of artists to rework some of the album’s standout tracks.

Slated to drop on the 18th March, ‘Your Own Power Remixes’ features new editions from Donato Dozzy, Aurora Halal, DJ Python, and Bambounou alongside a Priori VIP - each bringing their own flair and style to the record.

Priori is an alias of Francis Latreille who first put out solo releases on Greek label Echovolt and Canadian imprint ASL Singles Club. Known to be an avid collaborator, Latreille is involved in a number of projects including Jump Source, M.S.L., Housemates, New World Science, ANF and more. He has also worked on mixing projects by fellow artists including Roza Terenzi, Ex-Terrestrial, RAMZi, Bambii, and Ouri.

Modern Obscure Music has been making links with the Far East since label boss Pedro Vian visited Japan and this is their first 12” release from a Japanese artist. Albino Sound is Hirotaka Umetani from Osaka and here he presents Black Lagoon. This is an exciting EP of experimental soundcapes and left of centre dancefloor escapades with an extra special remix from German producer DJ Normal 4. Black Lagoon opens the EP with live percussion and mysterious sounds and is followed by the mesmerising tones of Plum Valley. Transparent Colony is an open-armed ambient cut and the EP finishes with two versions on Dried Seeds. The original is an energetic mover and DJ Normal 4's Vibe Strike Remix is an eastern synth inspired mission.

Arts Gallery is a window into the soul of the artists of our label, the series goes on with a glorious combination of 3 well-distinct artists coming from the south of Italy: Drafted, Kaelan, and Unthone. The record is a well crafted Sonic Weaponry collection, the 4 cuts are a representation of high knowledge of how to paint the sounds in techno, these tracks are intelligent, groovy and most of all technically impeccable. This is the debut of Fragment Dimension.

Second Woman is the collaborative project featuring Turk Dietrich of Belong and Joshua Eustis of Telefon Tel Aviv.
Josh and Turk have been friends for over 17 years, having met in New Orleans in the late '90s through mutual friend and future collaborator, Charlie Cooper. The duo have been working on music together on and o since that time.
The concept of Second Woman began with the idea of taking tropes from footwork, dub, house, and techno, and twisting these ideas into something kaleidoscopically liberated from the grid. Their work first materialized with two LP's and an EP on John Elliott and Peter Rehberg's Spectrum Spools.
Second Woman tweak the perception of time and space within the audio field into something ASMR-inducing and ultimately satisfying to listen to. Both Josh and Turk experience ASMR in response to certain rhythms and sounds, and e ort was made to incorporate these triggers into the music, hopefully for other people to experience as well.
With Apart / Instant, Second Woman present their signature sound as well as a new, more measured dimension to their work.

A reissue of a project LAST FRONT debut work on Torema Records which was sold only in Japan in 1993, Now remastered for 2021 release.
The member of LAST FRONT was Fumiya Tanaka,Tamotu Ide,Takehito Miyagi. It’s hard to imagine now, but back in 1993, Japan was the only country where the first independent techno label could distribute vinyl and manufactured. We’re excited to be able to listen it together now after past years.

Phonica Records proudly welcomes the highly respected producer Dorisburg to their main label roster with a brilliant three track EP of expertly crafted Deep House and Techno.

Sweden’s Dorisburg (real name Alexander Burg) has been consistently creating some of the most carefully constructed dancefloor records over the past decade and his various releases for the likes of Aniara, Bossmusik and Northern Electronics are seemingly always in demand with DJs and listeners alike. His stunning debut album ‘Irrbloss’ on Hivern Discs sold out almost immediately upon release and still fetches high prices on the second-hand market. This is all to say nothing of his involvement in the critically acclaimed duo Genius Of Time with Nils Krogh (aka Arkajo).

While his productions can vary widely from upbeat and melodic to dark and foreboding, one thing is consistent in them all; atmosphere. This latest chapter in the Dorisburg story is no different, with ‘House Organ For The Lonely’ starting the EP off with a slow-building and ominous feel eventually pierced by a delicate synth line. It’s the little details that mark his productions apart, with tiny flourishes throughout imbuing the track with a layer upon layer of texture.

Next up is ‘Fumana Prophecy’, a dark, bubbling cauldron of fizzing and whirring electronics occasionally enveloped by dense pads of bass. Hi-hats ratchet up the intensity. Finally, ‘Rhythm Paint’ begins with more earthly and off-kilter percussion before a glistening digital arpeggio dances on top.

It’s yet another wonderful record from one of the most reliable producers out there.

Mind Against are back on Afterlife with two emotive, dancefloor masterpieces.

‘Walking Away’, featuring the deeply-affecting vocals of Port St. Willow, centres around uplifting harmonic elements and a resonant drum pattern. It strikes that special balance of light and dark which makes Mind Against’s tracks uniquely cathartic. ‘Bloom’ is more a melancholy, downtempo interpretation of their vision. The percussion is restrained and sits deep below atmospheric pads and piano chords, eventually arriving at a gradual and subtle peak. Mind Against reach euphoric heights once again, though this time by a patient and reflective path.

In honor of the December full moon 2021, Luigi Tozzi finally invites us to yet another emotional journey, down into the depths of the Deep Blue.

The release comes in a limited edition, marbled 180-gram double vinyl, and an unlimited black edition. Sheathed inside a matte white sleeve of a high-quality carton with Hypnus signature, custom cut round corners. All adorned with a stunning artwork by Gabriella Holmstrom.

Aquaregia presents Acid Analects, a new VA series showcasing the many facets of acid. Volume 1 brings a club-oriented selection of four tracks, each masterfully produced by a global array of artists. Italian producer Nicola Dal Sacco opens the release with an old school squelching 303 workout in 'Calorica'. On the A2, Berlin-based Elad Magdasi presents 'Robotricks', a dark and hypnotic trip embellished with acid wisps. Introducing the B-side, the Canadian, 747, brings a fast and furious acidic bassline in his track 'Domain Expansion'. And to close the release, Australian mastermind, DJ Huntsman, finishes with an ultra speedy and euphoric psytrance heater in 'Planet Psygon'

House music maestro, Darius Syrossian, cues up a pair of scintillating tracks for Ben Rau’s META imprint, expertly showing his credentials when it comes to delivering effective club cuts.

An ever-present DJ and producer on the circuit for many years, Syrossian has built up an enviable catalogue of music for labels such as 8bit, Hot Creations, Robsoul, amongst others. He runs the
successful Moxy Muzik imprint, which racks up high vinyl sales and top Beatport chart positions, and also has a release for Crosstown Rebels dropping in the coming months. As a DJ, the Tehran-born
artist needs little introduction, suffice to say that he’s clocked up thousands of gigs and parties around the world, and in particular making Ibiza a regular mainstay in his annual diary.

The shimmering synth intro ‘La Tribu’ succumbs to a slammin’ and swinging four to the floor beat, as Syrossian teases vocal chops and deft organ stabs, building up the energy levels with some spanking
hand claps and an infectious groove. On ‘Dream Thief’, Syrossian parades a deeper side, as a shuffling rhythm is cloaked with reverbed percussion, warming Rhodes keys and freestyling guitar licks
for a highly sophisticated and contagious jam.

The score for a film by Oscar winning director Dusan Vukotic 'Visitors From The Galaxy' from 1981 (FOX001LP) was remixed by 11 artists from 9 countries. All original tracks from Visitors From The Galaxy (alternative titles: Gosti Iz Galaksije; Monstrum Z Galaxie Arkana; Gaeste Aus Der Galaxis; I Visitatori Della Galassia Arcana; Goscie Z Galaktyki Arkana; Los Visitantes De La Galaxia) are arranged, composed, conducted and produced by Tomislav Simovic. This compilation includes additional screen sounds from the unpublished tapes of composer Tomislav Simovic also featured in Dusan Vukotic film. With courtesy of Tomislav Simovic estate artists were given complete creative freedom to remix, reinvent and re-imagine the futuristic soundscape of first science-fiction film in Yugoslavia that was scored in analog, abstract, electronic and synthesised music. Alen & Nenad Sinkauz, Ali Renault, Anatolian Weapons, Credit 00, Drvg Cvltvre, Goran Vejvoda, Heinrich Dressel, Repeated Viewing, Security DJ, Tapan and Timothy Fife got the sounds from Tomislav Simovic score and embarked on a musical journey that had no rule or predetermined direction or genre; it was only their creativity inspired by Visitors From The Galaxy sound that led them to a new pieces, more or less experimental, abstract or dance floor friendly. The diversity of music goes wide and deep, it is modern and made by the stars of today paying homage to a composer who always retreated in being a star. As the remix projects of this kind are still very rare and include famous names like Ennio Morricone, Steve Reich or Peter Thomas Orchestra, Tomislav Simovic is now finally, one might say, at home.

Konduku returns to Nous'klaer with a two tracker on the fourth instalment of his K-series. Starting out with Gelgit; a typical Konduku poly groover with mesmerising bells and subtle drops. On the flip we hear Konduku channeling his four to the floor affection into one of his sweatiest cuts yet. Crafted for big soundsystems.

ASC is back on the label, now stronger than ever, this time orbiting the Gallery section, and show us how elegantly he is able to take textures and techno to the next level.

There is no exaggeration when we say that this artist is a pillar in our label and the way he is able to show us how techno can have infinite beautiful layers on each listen is outstanding.

After the last release of the Berlin-based producer Glos, Flyance Records comes back with with its eleventh release and a Memorial Home EP.

After the recent release of their celebrated album "World" the duo offers us this magnificent EP with 2 original tracks "Earth" and "Pursuit" where we can find all this musicality and this emotion proper to their style.

The two original tracks are remixed by the French producer Kmyle and the Italian producer Luigi Tozzi. In its own way each remix brings the vibe and atmosphere of the original tracks.

After a first distinctive appearance in 2021 on the dynamic XX LAB compilation, Vel returns on the independent label leading this next release. "Era L" comprises a series of atypically structured tracks in which modern techno with minimalist tendencies becomes a model on which rich emotional soundscapes are carved. Sensual and complex, Vel's futuristic sound is well established throughout the "Era L" journey.

The obsessive "Inspire Me Jim" lays the groundwork for the alienating psychedelic vibe. Mixing lunacy and profound melancholy, the producer invites us on a sometimes tortuous journey, celebrating the female voice and its delicacy: “The world of femininity fascinates me.” This key theme resonates powerfully in her complex music: "The tone of my voice, the sharp percussion, and many reverb"

In addition, four club titles properly nourish the heart of the EP. All of them carefully carry unique rhythms and unexpected drum patterns. Vel’s spontaneity surprises the attentive listener, and claims the ultimate end of classical techno variations. There are frantic rhythms, multidirectional percussion, futuristic sounds, a few dreamy pads, and still a lot of femininity and lunacy."I look keenly for the unexpected, I try to explore sounds that challenge at first listen, creating strange, even disturbing textures. A mind-blowing trip, against a backdrop of galloping techno through our principal arteries."

Ultimately, "Limitless Wilderness" completes the EP with the distinct feeling that this is just the promising beginning.

"Era L" undoubtedly represents an excellent balance between body and mind, with both intriguing introspective atmospheres and captivating eerie sounds. An undeniably modern reinterpretation of rave energy and a sound design that eagerly pushes the established boundaries of techno.

Founded by Blue Hour and Philippa Pacho, ‘positivesource’ is a new record label conceived during the pandemic and absence of nightlife. The series will bring together various artists with a focus on progressive attitudes in dance music while paying homage to our roots in early club culture.

As our catalogue number KM053 appears on the horizon, we are happy to announce that it comes in shape of Keinemusik's own Reznik and his studio-buddy and friend Good Guy Mikesh's first full-fledged EP for the label. Them getting together can result in somewhat variable stylistic outcomes and so this batch of tunes certainly adds some exquisite nuances to the Keinemusik sound- portfolio.
"Human Factor" on A distinctively affirms that Reznik and Mikesh are kids of the 80ies. Effectively it is synth-heaven, layering riffs, melodies and chilly beat patterns on top of each other, building a foundation to be pinnacled by that hook you might not be able to get out of your head for quite a while. So, little trigger warning right there. A strongly crafted tune that balances Pop-sensibilities, educated references, club qualities and that name giving, at all hands needed human factor into a soon-to-be classic.
"It's Not You It's Me" on the flipside insinuates itself in a rather emotive manner, introducing a mantra-like organ motive, switches between stoic and dynamic drum patterns and an all-over organic feel, altogether adding up to what would be one of this season's most sensitive ways to get a floor going (if there was a season after all).
Closing things off is Adam Port's take on "It's Not You It's Me", a remix that breaks the original's dynamic down to a more loop-based club-approved modus operandi, re-shaping the beat with toms and shakers, implementing drones and variations of the organ-hook, upping the ante to meet the requirements of a rather post-peak application.
