Ohm and Octal Industries debuted on this label to great acclaim back in 2022 and now they're back on Lempuyang with Northwest Passage, a first album-length collaboration. This double 12" continues with their themes of failed arctic explorations and mythological creatures and, after 12 previous outings together, might be their best work yet: the sounds are mature and powerful, bleak yet deep. Dubbed-out chords roll to infinite horizons, frozen tundras are detailed with wispy melodies and pulsing, supple techno both soothes the soul and gets the head nodding. This is more stylish, subversive and superbly executed electronic music.

Escapism's 7th vinyl EP marks the return of Polish-Swedish producer Glos to the label. "Psalms" showcases his talent for producing quality peaktime-techno as well as his gift for storytelling, delivering three tracks that share the same foundation but vary in approach and intention.

Deep techno excursions by French emerging talent Hydrangea.

In May 2016, Trevino a.k.a. Marcus Intalex released his acclaimed debut album, 'Front', on his own Birdie label. Almost exactly seven years on, the follow up album 'Back' will be released posthumously, marking the final Trevino album. The release date is scheduled for the 26th May to mark the six year anniversary of Marcus passing (28th May 2017).

Although most of the tracks for 'Back' were made during Marcus' time in Berlin, he moved back to Manchester in early 2017 to make the most of his home studio. The Trevino moniker was an output for Marcus to return to his love of house and techno, inspired by his experience of working in record shops from a young age where he would be receiving records spanning across Chicago house and Detroit techno - most notably referencing the Belleville Three as a key influence.

The producer, named after his favourite golfer Lee Trevino, has loosely based the two-part album project on the 'Front' nine and 'Back' nine holes in the sport. This theme runs throughout, with the artwork based on the plans for Hillside golf course.

Mysticisms continues its global search for amazing music, hitting gold again with an EP of four previously unreleased house meets IDM with a dreamy edges by Romania's HAN aka Dan Handrabur, culled from early studio recordings between 1991-95.

After getting into record store culture he began building a studio and eventually gave up studying in favour of production, relocated to Vancouver, Canada, where his debut release (as X Drone with Adham Shaikh in 1993) began to establish Handrabur's role as an integral part its electronic scene. Appearances with Harthouse, Exist Dance, Eye Q Records and many more followed, plus collaborations with the legendary Phil Western. The four tracks here haven't aged at all, with nimble beats, action-packed arrangements and dreamy atmospheres, 'Give In & Resist' coming on like Rising High-era Mixmaster Morris crossed with the playfulness of Air Liquide, and 'Phantasme' revelling in the same cross-rhythmic fun that informed The Black Dog's classics.

* Pleasure and pain, the euphoria Emika knows how to create sonically in order for her to lose her mind through the music and escape reality, composed and produced during the darkest chapter in her life, she mixes in the inevitable pain of a once locked-down Berlin.

* Breath Cuts is a journey-style dance track, for song-lovers or DJs that like to tell stories on their dance-floors. Emika reveals a poem in the middle of the song, a dream about being free again; 'I like to look out the window.. I like to imagine the clouds..'

* Norman Nodge, Berghain resident by night and lawyer by day, pulls out and enhances the lush ethereal vocal elements, remixing them further into an angel-like chorus, one can imagine the dancefloor in Berghain - people rushing from the sound while spirits float above them looking down.

* The two producers decided to provide listeners and DJs with a functional kick-less mix for advanced mixing pleasure.

After a more than well-received first release, Interstate Records is back with a shimmering and diverse EP. Featuring two original cuts by the label heads Dial Tone on the A-Side, plus two outstanding remixes on the flipside, the record serves as a fitting successor to the label's thriving start.

On 'Lucid', the title track, Dial Tone show their distinctive skill to create an ongoing trip and let the listener immerse in its energetic melancholia. 'Cypher' kicks off on a slightly deeper note, however, only until a dazzling synthesizer line drills itself through the drums.

The B-Side contains two remixes of 'Cypher'. Cadency (also known as Hector Oaks) transforms the track into a fully equipped dance floor bomb. The chopped up, reverberated synth and the somewhat weirdly shivering percussion make the track stand out as a perfect example of Cadency's signature sound.

The final track of the record is a dreamy cut by Figure affiliate Viers. After slightly more functional releases on Len Faki's label, the man from Leeds shows his spherical and cinematic side - nailed it!

Welsh DJ Sasha is active since the late ‘80s and achieved much success, both as a solo artist as with John Digweed. He was voted World No. 1 DJ in 2000 in the prestigious poll conducted by DJ Magazine (Dj Mag Top 100). His second album, Airdrawndagger, is considered as a masterpiece in the electronic music scene. It features co-production from Charlie May, Junkie XL and James Holden. Upon release, the album charted on the UK and US Albums Charts, peaking at number 18 and 157 respectively. The album features some of his best work, including “Bloodlock” (featuring James Holden) and the ultimate album closer “Wavy Gravy”.

The small but already well-formed Innate label offer sup a superb split EP for its sixth outing. Gilbert opens up with 'Low Flying Objects', a widescreen and serene bit of synth-laden tendon with more than a hint of Motor City soul over the dusty drums. 'Unknown Entities' is a brain-cleansing and celestial electro-styled cut with dreamy pads and cinematic deepness. Bristol-born, Welsh-rooted Owain K then steps up to the flip with equally painterly sounds. 'Unknown Entities' pairs deep and rubbery bass with crisp electro drum patterns and far-sighted chords. 'New Horizon' then closes out with some delightfully dozy deep house that's laden with wispy chords and undulating bass.

Astral Industries is a creative platform that challenges artists to experiment, collaborate and work outside of their comfort zones. Our core aim is to combine the atmospheric sounds of our musicians with the strong aesthetic of our visual artists to curate a catalogue of premium-quality releases that evoke glimpses into the greater depths of what electronic music has to offer.

For our first release, Rod Modell (a.k.a. Deepchord) presents "Lanterns" - an epic journey through an evolving sonic landscape propelled by the churning momentum of reverb-soaked percussion. Red Lantern is an ode to the eerie red glow that once beckoned sailors to the port of Amsterdam - on one side, the gentle thud of a bass drum rolls beneath haunting yet uplifting pads whilst on the reverse, bubbling bass underpins echoes of a shoreline that shifts in and out of focus. Blue Lantern merges dub techno and ambient experimentation, showcasing Modell's impressive talents in sound design and the diverse influences that span his 25-year career as a musician. Warm, thunderous kicks rumble beneath restrained hints of percussion, creating an immersive soundscape allowing for music and space to envelop the listener, with the result both enticing and unsettling in equal measures. Three years after the original's release, new life is given to 747's widely acclaimed neoclassic acid anthem, Aurora Centralis. The uplifting track, characterized by its iconic singing 303, is revisited by four masterful artists: Schacke, Tin Man, nthng and Primal Code, each bringing a unique take.

Opening the release, Schacke delivers a fast and euphoric revamp with an infectious groove and floaty atmosphere, while modern acid legend, Tin Man, executes a flawless take embellished with lush pads and deft 303 work.

Introducing the B-side, nthng's vehement rendition is fierce and ethereal in a way only he can deliver - wish granted. To close, Primal Code brings a hypnotic version with an atmospheric ambiance and a nod to the original through dreamy gliding acid notes.

Buenos Aires’ Santiago Garcia joins Upercent in his native Valencia, candidly integrating their own unique approaches to music and harmonizing artistries to render an unpretentious glimpse into the process of building a home, both literally and figuratively. Unveiling the birth of their new label, Interpret, the talented DJ/Producers draw on their personal and artistic connection, versatility on and off decks and penchant for metaphors to foster a safe space for interpretation and canvas for symphonic expression. INT01 is storytelling in its fine, sincere and genuine form, segmented into four distinctive and equally compelling tracks that naturally occurred upon graciously pushing sounds and nurturing instincts.

Carrer Bonaire EP is a mosaic of sounds traversing an infinite spectrum of emotions, handwoven by Interpret masterminds, Upercent and Santiago Garcia, with meticulous detail and quintessence through to the EP’s finish. But not to fret, Interpret is not only off to a good start, the label is here to stay, til imaginations run dry.

In ancient Rome, Consuls held two strategic roles: exercising authority over all the public affairs of the city and accompanying the legions in their military campaigns.

Lykos Records gave this role to Artist Laertes, born Gianluca Meloni. Ambassador of the sound of Rome, Laertes has been one of the pioneers of the deep-techno genre. After establishing in Italy as producer, live performer and mastering engineer, he exported his aesthetics all around the world.

"Titanomachia" is the title of Laertes' new work inspired by Hesiod's Theogony. The artist tells through aggressive and groovy sounds one of the bloodiest wars in Greek mythology, Zeus leading the Olympian gods versus Chronos and the Titans.

"Chaos" throws us into the swirl of battle. The repetitive sound of the synth bass sequence alludes to the sound of spears broken on shields, while pads and strings charge the entire track with tension. The narration continues in a daring succession of loops and hypnotic rhythms, with the second track "The Immortal". Strident bleeps and incessant percussions and rhythmic patterns characterize the progressive crescendo.

The description of the battle changes with Worg, who proposes his version of "Chaos". The story of the battle is entrusted to the evolution of lashing metallic effects that recall the lightning of the father of all Gods.

Psyk closes the chronicle of the epic battle with an adaptation of "The Immortal". The kick recalls war drums that galvanize the troops on battlefields. The artist evokes the heroic spirit with powerful and thunderous sounds.

As the January full moon rises the Hypnus guild is pleased to present their first record of the decade which comes crafted by dreamworld mastermind Birds ov Paradise. 'Till Dig' consists of four paradisaical cuts which offer a fair share of light in our hearts as we slowly start to ascend from the winter darkness toward summer bliss.

The music comes pressed on a black 180 gram twelve inch vinyl, sheathed inside our signature custom cut sleeves and a new artistic expression made by us that draws inspiration from the surrounding nature of our home in the forests of Balsta, Sweden.

Konduku makes his first appearance on DJ Nobu's label Bitta, presenting four highly energetic, deep hypnotic cuts. It's the perfect collision between their characteristic practices. Konduku's two immersive techno works, in the form of 'Hayal' and the atmospheric 'Yakamoz', compliment Nobu's powerful and uplifting mountain-valley sound. Balancing out the EP are two proper mind-benders: 'Damla' perfectly represents Konduku's take on twirling half-tempo rhythms and 'Zifir' is a freaky heavy-hitter in the low sub territories.

With a first appearance on Token through a remix for PTTRN's 'To Disapear Completely', Mike Parker fully debuts on the imprint with 'The Burning Round Table' for 4 corrosive tracks of unforgiving power. Highly skilled in crafting cavernous ambiances and sharp tension, the American virtuoso offers a record emphasizing just that: imposing cuts to be selected with intention.

Parker immediately introduces the EP with gravitas through boiling, acidic A1 'Tripartite'. This first track stomps its way through an aquatic ecosystem with the occasional stab to reaffirm the vast dimension of the track. Parker uses texturally abstract atmospheres that dive the alert listener into its mysterious environment. The kick pummels onto Parker's next piece 'Ascension Chain', which carries its name well. A heavy low-end clears space for a mesmerizing stepped lead in this track that evokes a similar size as its predecessor's. Quick hi hat sections hurry the track along into the other side of the record that meets the listener with a clear transition. Part 2 of the EP begins with 'Bass Model', where Parker flattens the dimension of his project with a strong, operatic bassline and rhythmic syncopation. Movement is now prioritized in a B side that sets a convincing balance between techno and Detroit electro through a highly effective use of minimal elements. Closed hi hats are uplifted through sections of rolling rides to keep the pace persistent and the track tunneling. Parker then guides us to the final pillar of 'The Burning Round Table' with his title track as B2, a logical continuation to the song before. A sustained and highly saturated bassline pushes through head bobbing percussion with a vintage sounding vocal sample to wrap up the artist's sonic trip.

Al Wootton returns home on Trule with an EP of highly functional dance floor techno that retains his signature brittle textures, dubwise sensibilities and clipped, stepping, swinging rhythms.

This time Anthony Linell cuts his peerless supply four ways in four tracks. Short on hubris, and economical to the point of being cruel, 'Core Field Horizon' relents in all the right places to make the effects of its peaks and troughs impossible to defend against. The opening track is a deluge. Spinning on its hydro-blasted synth line, the gravitational pull erases and ensnares in equal disordering measure. On its heel is the EP's title track, an austere display of the venom in the seam between his club-focused work and his experimental output. 'Evaporating Entities' is one of Linell's most diaphanous works to date, and after weaving through the sky we are abruptly subjected to the gravity of the closing track's nerves.

The first release SUNSAD001 contains three tracks produced Efdemin and Vril. Sunsad was born before covid hit. The label was on hold as so many others. The first ep presents a meeting of two longstanding german producers who follow each others work with greatest respect since a long time: Efdemin and Vril.

The EP opens with Efdemins long track titled „Endless“. Produced at his Berlin Studio “The Meadow” it is built around a endlessly progressing organ-pattern, combining classic Efdemin grooves with shimmering waves of beauty. The 132bpm track is a journey full of hope after one almost forgot how to dance during the last 1,5 years. The organ sounds connected with a rolling bass-line is a trip far away from peak-time craziness into transcendent territories. A soft but hopeful trip to nowhere - endless.

On B1 „Purge“, produced by Vril, is meant by himself as an experience of a selfcleaning process in different phases.

The surprising 7:43 journey is combining different elements of dub sounds, constant ambient white noise, beautiful chords and punchy hi-hats at the end of the track. All together a long, warm soundtrack for your personal purge.

B2 is an groovy, punchy interpretation of Vrils „Purge“, remixed by Efdemin - a transformation from a self cleaning process to a dance floor experience with some reminiscence to earlier concepts techno.

Label favorites Pornbugs return with another triumphant release, on the ever-reliable Bondage-Music.

Kicking off with the title track 'Juvania', a deep and sophisticated subtle groover, with its deep bass setting the tone. A filtered vocal hook loops around while trippy percussive adds an additional vibe, while the gated vocal adds a sparkle to proceedings.

Remix duties see Rhadow adding some intrigue, as this bubbling bass led re-tweak unfurls, with trippy vocal fx and tasty percussion, while a warm and magical muted melodic flavor encases things wonderfully.

Next, we find 'Mudita', with its moody rolling groove, and spoken style vocal that adds a little bounce to this workout, while some dubby elements are sprinkled nicely. The breakdown is a hypnotic and cosmic vibed affair, as the spoken word plays with your mind before returning to the track with a real throb. 

Nicola Brusegan steps up to remix Mudita, taking us deep, but keeping the energy levels high, as this deep driver with a classic feel lets go. Punchy goodness!

First vinyl pressing of Baroque by Japanese composer and multi-instrumentalist Susumu Yokota. The full length album was originally released by United Sounds Of Blue in 2014, a subdivision of Frogman Records in CD format. Now it is being re-released by Barcelona-based record label Modern Obscure Music as a double LP and in digital format. Baroque is one of the most significant albums of Susumu signed under his original name, and this is the first time the album will be pressed on a double LP 12". Yokota, was an eclectic, highly prolific electronic musician and composer from Japan who died in 2015 at 54. "There is always fear, rage, and ugliness existing behind beauty. I have been trying to express ki-do-ai-raku (the four emotions: joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness) through music. I would like to express even one's hidden emotion with reality. It's my eternal goal." Baroque is a clear example of this, thought the deep listeing of the album you can experiment all of that feelings in just one record and feel how his music infulenced the next generation of producers during the two next decades till today. The Tokyo-based artist devoted his time and creative energy to achieving this goal, and the result is a vast discography that begins with banging early acid house tracks in the 1990s, moves across the next two decades to include deep house and Detroit-influenced techno, a stunning run of ambient electronic albums and, in his last decade, a glorious confluence that wove his various skills into a series of borderless electronic records. Modern Obscure Music team is really excited to bring this gem to the light, Baroque is remastered and distributed in two 12" to be played in clubs and home sound-system bringing the best quality of sound to have the best experience. 4 cuts of pure pulsing and hypnotic techno meets electronica.

Taupe's imprint Colours proudly presents another palate of delicate musical brush strokes that aims to captivate and bounce its spectator. While Taupe's refines his art, this ep has the audacity to retain itself and focus on balance and control. It's a wonderful slice of wax that has many hidden sides to it, which for that reason make it a marvelous mystery to listen to. The ep starts off with a wish-wash of stabs, creating a pressing feeling of urge and uncertainty. Whilst its progressing, things seem to shake and tumble, but never falling. The inner A-side, however, has a clear purpose! An all-present tom knocks your socks off right off the bat, followed by a moist atmosphere and an appetizing hat. While A1 aims to disorient, A2 transports you right to an intimate car-drive at 5am. Flipping the wax won't flip the theme. B1 Perpetuates the feeling of nostalgia and unknowingness by tempting and dissolving the listener with fairytale-worthy arps. Swaying from left to right, follow this dream ride! And to top off this marvelous ride, B2 gently pushes the brake in order to ascertain a comfortable speed that is exquisite for some old-skool head-bobbing. Absorb that addictive bounce!

Kirk Degiorgio is becoming somewhat of a mainstay on the Belgian De:tuned label. Here he returns with 'The Unveiling'. The title track stands out with a classical synth progression and beautiful harmonies, resulting in an uplifting Detroit fused techno cut. 'Descent Module' takes you on a driving acidic trip and has all the characteristics of a hypnotic floater for the after-hours. On the flip you'll find two exclusive remixes from Kirk's 'Communion' album on De:tuned. Ian o'Brien showcases his vast musical talent and opens up his soul with a warm and lengthy retake of 'The Ladder'. Luke Slater debuts strongly on De:tuned and provides a rare The 7th Plain remix of 'Absorption Spectra'. Luke's take is a sentimental and lush ambient techno interpretation where its unique sound oscillates between a melancholic state of nostalgia and modern escapism.

Kevin Foakes (Openmind, DJ Food, Ninja Tune) created all the graphic work. Mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis and pressed on 180 gr vinyl. A separate digital release will also be available at the usual digital shops. Stay tuned!

After 20 years - Multiplex is finally back! The record label originally put out 26 vinyl releases and 6 CD albums between 1995 and - 98. Behind the label reboot is the original founder Steen "Kong" Mogensen and fellow Copenhagen DJ and promoter Daniel Kaarill.
The first of a string of new releases is a reissue with a twist. The two track EP picks up where we left off in 1998, with catalogue number MUPL 026 and a couple of much sort after tracks. Both have been pulled from the original DAT tapes and been given a fresh workout by the artists.

First up we have Mark Broom's iconic 1997 remix of the Morgan Geist track Pushed from the EP of the same name. This is a hypnotic, deep techno track and for many a favorite in those melancholic moments. Muzik magazine praised it as a 97 essential.
On the flip side is Push Me which Cai Bojsen-Møller and Kong sent out as the fourth Multiplex on blue vinyl in 1995. They were originally asked to do a remix of Danish jazz singer Caroline Henderson, but when she didn't like her contribution being cut down to two words, they went ahead and released it under the moniker CH Connection.
