2015 looks to be Delta Funktionen's year. Following the terrifically dark and deep Wasteland series comes "A New Planet". A cold electro beat is the bedrock from which a corrupting and corrosive 303 coil grows. But even with this caustic foundation, moments of salvation are to be found. A second techno moon dawns midway, frostier percussion giving way to warmer rhythms. Full and flowing bars fall and rise behind the squawk, allowing a new and brighter element to bloom. A track that is at once atmospheric and club centric from an artist at the top of his game. This will be released as a limited single sided 12" vinyl with a silkscreen print on the B side.

The true master of dark Techno, Kai Randy Michel, returns for a third EP on Darknet with this tough techno 3-tracker "Fractal Reality", including a pounding remix by the label boss DJ Hi-Shock from Sydney.

Dundov's third LP, Sailing Off The Grid, expands on the lush, intricate synth explorations of his previous two releases, but sees him delve further still into those realms, invoking the spirit of classic ambient and synth-based music of decades gone by. While the album spans just eight tracks, each track clocks in over seven minutes, and some almost double that length. Each is slow-burning, expansive, gradually unfolding to reveal more of itself and to develop its motifs and sentiments without the often hurried constraints of the dancefloor (or even more so, the radio). This is an album to be consumed in its entirety; not for those with short attention spans or iPod playlists on their mind.

As well as the glorious aesthetic of this record, it's clear that this third album is indebted to the greats of the synthesizer world. The album imparts a - whisper it - almost Balearic sensuality, with a real sense of humanity elicited from Dundov's array of machines by way of ever-changing melodies and patterns, giving the sense of a spontaneous, freestyle approach to synth playing and constructing tracks. If his first two albums unearthed his wider musical talents, Sailing Off The Grid is the one that sees him blossom into an incredibly accomplished and ever-more-intriguing producer.

Inmotion are proud to present Mark Fanciulli's stunning debut on the label. With just 3 years of production under his belt, few producers are as creative, or know quite how to innovate as Mark Fanciulli does, and the 27-year old is constantly reinventing and challenging himself, with The Abyss being no exception.
The EP's namesake The Abyss is up first, and Fanciulli challenges us right from the outset with this dark, pumping techno number. Piercing vocals and banging drums fuse in a culmination of rumbling bass that is sure to give the toughest of dancefloors a good run for their money.
Of the two big-name remixers on the package, ROD comes first. The dutchman delivers an epic take on Mark's track, utilising every element in his own way to create a true techno record imitating sounds of early Detroit, with grand breakdowns and uplifting basslines. The grand finale of the EP comes from Greek-born Nikola Gala, who creates the most timid of mixes on this package, but still manages to keep the core peak-time feel of the track. Nikola's remix features wandering basslines and some extremely well balanced drums to round off a peak-time package of dancefloor bombs that we're all extremely proud of!

Android vinyl #10 holsters renowned french producer Electric Rescue, who
brings his mate Maxime Dangles to the same party. Luckily for all
technolovers, it doesn't dissapoint.

A1 kicks off with the Dangles remix, an ubergroovy track, which uses its
arpeggios and stabs to the fullest, for those jacking moments on the
floor. The original 'Atami' doesnt lose the groove, but brings in some
bleeps and a more stripped down style, making it very modern and fitting
every set.

The B-side starts with 'Hondula', taking it a bit more deep and dubby,
exploring those dark corners in the club. A lot is going on in the space
between the beats, and therefore, it fits warmup sets, aswell as those
breathing moments in a peaktime set.

Last but not least, 'Nextape' continues the deep and purist approach, neat
percussion work and sinister synth stabs prove this one as essential in
your bag as all the other tracks.

Gynoid Audio, one of the few female labels around, started her course in 2010. She's now one of the most prolific labels when it comes to a variety of functional Techno, with focus on drive, mood, dirt and depth. The amount of well-established veterans (both old and new) who released or remixed for the label, or newcomers who saw their career start on Gynoid, is impressive. It also describes why its one of the most charted labels in it's field of operation. To celebrate the mains series 100th release and the continuance of the label we decided to preset a massive VA compilation spanning over three releases. Here is a limited green vinyl of the second volume from the 100th compilation, featuring brand new tracks by Audio Injection, Black Hats, Mattias Fridell, Rraph.

Over the past two decades, French producer and live performer, Terence Fixmer, has continued to evolve as an artist while maintaining his influential stance in international techno culture. With his last solo album, Comedy of Menace, already five years behind us, his continuous evolution has led him to produce his most introspective album yet. With this 10-piece composition Fixmer is able to tell a story from start to finish, with powerful, deep, dark, pulsating tones that are essential to his musical approach. Depth Charged is a complete concept as Fixmer's track arrangement takes the audience through various emotions illustrating how there is more to darkness than the dance floor. Beginning with a slow but heavy bassline, 'Ellipse' acts as a perfect introduction setting the attitude for the album. 'Fleeting Beauty' brings us fluttering chords amidst a serpentine drone, while the rolling bass of 'Unforeseen' sends you into a trancelike state. 'Purity' distracts the listener with its raw analog warmth filled with extraterrestrial energy. 'Inside of Me,' exclusively selected by Marcel Dettmann for his Fabric 77 mix, followed by 'Outside of Me' are both very dark tracks, filled with atmospheric suspense and quaking rhythms. 'Beyond' is a pure exemplary of Fixmer's signature style with an infectious progression sending anyone to the dance floor as 'Pallid Light' follows its footsteps filling a bit more radiance into a modern techno sound. 'Thoughts' shows another emotion of the album with deeper dub-like sonorities leading to the final track.

The accuracy of a beginning reversed into the fame of a
dance floor. Moreover, if the colors of adventure don't meet
the pages that toll the art in the beat of a complete tape, the
notes beat the breathing of the effort. Becoming great is
not easy, nowadays, nevertheless, tenacity is always the key
for achievement.

A sound that recalls the old classics of the melancholy
Detroit style passing gradually in the deep Berlin tone. The
distortion on the wave of the UK has led them to conceive
an absolutely innovating style, full of the teachings of the
Old School, model and example of the fans of the genre.
A full confidence in their dream has moved the obstinacy of
Beat Movement, who are today an active part of one of the
main electronic music labels, Blackwater Label.

The recent series of black label 10' singles published by Max_M via his M_Rec Ltd. have come to explore another variation of the sound that the late Italian producer loved so dearly. Focusing on mood and melodies, especially heartfelt and experimental, these releases stemmed from the hypnotic techno that gained the label its success, taking a turn for leftfield atmospheres and emotional nerve.

The fourth episode in the series comes as a 2-track 12' which sees Max_M collaborate with Wrong Assessment, the young Italian producer who recently debuted with another 12' on M_Rec Ltd. After developing an honest and mutual respect for each other's ideas and integrity, the two have collaborated extensively before Max departure, sharing bills around Europe and spending large amounts of time in the studio.

1004A features that slow crescendo of hypnotic modular sounds that M_Rec Ltd. is widely recognized for, but halfway through the track, it delivers a solemn and epic melody, with sharp synths overlapping to produce something ominous and dooming. All throughout, the beat pattern mutates around an aggressive bass drum making the track a perfect example of earnest and captivating techno.

On the other side, 1004B is groovier and more psychedelic, with layers and layers of soundscapes reminding us of the heyday of ambient music (think of Global Communication) and those epic early Underground Resistance 12's. It's a beautiful trip, aided by a fluid, but equally stoic bass drum that makes the track perfect for a set of mindbending techno.

Following the recent loss of Max_M to cancer, this release represents his final production work to come out on his own M_Rec Ltd. We believe it embodies everything Max loved about techno and we're very proud for these tracks to find their way onto Max's beloved wax.

Time is running...and it seems like we just woke up out of our interstellar sleep-mode as we are facing the arrival of the 14th edition of the almighty COCOON RECORDINGS COMPILATION. Starting with the letter 'A' we reached 'N' meanwhile which probably marks one of the longest running techno-compilation-series ever around. The list of the featured artists is amazing and almost endless. Big names like Funk D'Void, Alter Ego, Michael Mayer, Steve Bug, DJ Rush, Adam Port, Christian Smith, Nina Kravitz, Henrik Schwarz or Argy can be found here. Not to forget some of the biggest players in the circus like Sven Väth, Anthony Rother, Extrawelt, Timo Mass, Radio Slave or Ricardo Villalobos, DJ Koze, Dubfire and even Berlin's Basic Channel mastermind Moritz Von Oswald! With the new 'Compilation N' we will add even more big names side by side to some fresh and promising ones. Let's start with Konstantin Sibold & Leif Müller who gave us 'Kolibri", a great slowed down techno-tune that brings us back to the high days of Alter Ego when Harthouse released big listening and electronica albums. Track number two by Julian Perez follows that feeling and explores the deep and dubby sides of techno, too. A perfect transition to Frankfurt homeboy Markus Fix. It's dub again however spiced up with hypnotic strings and a clubby kickdrum shaking our bass bins! With track number four, 'Compilation N' opens the door to proper and kicking club music.

Chris, founder and head of Plattenkonferenz-Collective, CreDes, with releases on bespmusic next to Afrilounge and Cadenza's Andomat 3000,
teamed up as DJs & Producers for Plattenkonferenz, as artists for Semester Musik and as hosts for their own clubnight at Harry Klein Club / Munich.

'One Night @ Plattenkonferenz EP' again shows their talent for deeply rooted Housemusic.

'So True', is a wonderful piece of romance. A dark bassline, airy guitar strings, bittersweet bells and some cheeky kickin' female vocals. This one goes straight to your soul and heart. 'Tuloop' as a contrast is some kind of a rough late night jam with a bouncing kick, woody moogs combined with a little touch of acid in the vocal snips. Get the power - Feel this heartshaped sound of Munich´s Deep Team Chris Zeitlmeier & DJ CreDes.

On the flip you will find some shakin´ Techhouse from Mass Digital whose sound stretches somewhere between house and techno, whilst respectfully treading the line between commercial and credible
underground what led to many releases on labels like Toolroom, BluFin, Tiger, Keno records, Treibjagd records and more.

The well known mallorcan artist Dani Sbert who's gaining allot of respect around the World and has contracts with major labels like Bosphorus Underground, Italobusines, Amazing rec, Neverending, Neurotraxx, capsula and many more is responsible for the remix on this one. The Original of 'Your are nasty baby' is a straight peaktime bomb. The rhythm is pushed by funky bleeps, floating vocals and some breathtaking noise. The Remix of Mr. Dani Sbert is even more some kind of bleek weapon for the early morning hours. Full of melting whispers, black haze surrounded by resonance.

There's a lot of techno out there but none of it sounds like Stanislav Tolkachev. In the past few years the prolific Ukrainian producer has molded his love for old school techno with enormous doses of experimentation and tension. The results have been incredible. His EP for M_Rec Grey Series ( Depth Of Light', released in 2013) grabbed everyone's attention thanks to off-key interpretations of fast and forward driving techno, reminiscent of the rave years. These are soundtracks to psychoses, filled at the same time with excitement and nervousness. Impossible to ignore. This second EP for M_Rec Ltd Grey Series 11 (titled All Night Vigil') opens with Vitamin K', a Vangelis-on-LSD intro where melodies get crooked and queasy while still delivering large amounts of feeling. That's Where the Dog is Buried' is an almost-ten-minutes trip where jazzy analog sounds become increasingly unstable, incited by a pounding bass line. You can play this track in its entirety and, for once, people will literally freak out. On the flip side, All Night Vigil' is much less playful. Tolkachev's signature build up of synthetic sounds is endlessly manipulated over a bed of very aggressive drums. These acid experimentations remind us of the Universal Indicator series on Rephlex, but in 2015 things got a lot more disturbed and wild. Closing the EP is probably the most dancefloor friendly of all the track. Titled The Chance for Both of Us', the cut revolves around an equally untamed acid refrain, although soundscapes and reverb grant it a beautiful sense of melody. Drum programming is kept raw and stripped down making the track perfect for the most unconventional and adventurous sets.
All Night Vigil' is a thrilling release of very experimental techno.

Pragmat is a label from leipzig/germany and was founded by markus masuhr in 2012.
This label is a new interpedation of techno. The label is following his line of dark, dubby, pure and peak haunting techno. 4 tracks of deep and raw, yet intricately textured techno. Elementary loop techno tracks with dark elements, showing consistently forward. In a mystery track construct with pushing apocalyptic sounds and vocals. He meet dark side of the night.

Das Side Projekt aus den beiden separaten Acts "Arts & Leni" und "Wolfgang Lohr" geht in die zweite Runde. Nach ihrer Debüt EP, im Oktober 2012 auf dem Berliner Label Ostfunk, folgt nun das zweite Release bei Ton Liebt Klang (Hamburg). Herausgekommen sind nach akribischer Frickelei zwei Tech House / Minimal Nummern mit dominanten Basslines und sehr lässigem Groove, für den tanzbaren Bereich auf der Clubwiese. Mit dem Einsatz von analoger Hardware, sämtlicher Souveränität beider Künstler und einer ausgefeilten eigenen Stilistik, ist das Ergebnis eine gesunde musikalische Mischung aus dem sich perfekt ergänzenden Duo!

Für den Remix von "Take This Back" wurde Fernando Tessis (Brasilien), Labelhead bei Kombo Records, ins Boot geholt. Mit seiner Interpretation ist eine druckvolle und ebenfalls sehr tanzbare, alternative Version kreiert worden, deren Coolness ihresgleichen sucht!

The Chosen Two (Berlin) haben mit dem Remix zu "Red Curson" mal wieder ihre Remix-Qualitäten unter Beweis gestellt und eine ganz eigene aber authentische Aufarbeitung, mit starker Bassline, zurecht geschustert. Sind aber bei ihren Leisten geblieben und ergänzen die Veröffentlichung zu einem runden Erlebnis und Ergebnis für den Verlegebereich im dampfenden Club!

Draped in anonymity, the mad-cap RSS B0YS thrash out a live tour de force of warped bleeps and crunching synths. Bewilderingly good. Half Art, Half Music, 100% authentic. Deep heavy tribal techno riddims from Poland that are both minimal and heavy distorted slabs of sound. Two tracks, each 15 minutes, 30 minute run time.
