Compilation of remastered tracks from the defunct Scorp label, operated from 2000 to 2004 by Steve Rachmad. Includes one unreleased track from the same period.

Steve Rachmad's extensive collection of projects over the years has provided a wealth of inspiration in its many forms. Although much of Rachmad's music has been influential on the development of Token from the beginning, there is one body of work in particular that encapsulates the essence of the label, in a classic and inimitable form.

Scorp was a self-contained label project operating between 2000 and 2004. Although not the best known of Rachmad's many aliases, its importance was not overlooked by discerning tastemakers at the forefront of the techno movement at the time.

Token 66 contains nine tracks in total selected from these releases, plus one track previously unreleased from the same period. All of the music has been remastered and will be available digitally for the first time as well as on a 3LP vinyl compilation.

These ten tracks clearly demonstrate Token's alignment with this classic sound, exhibiting Rachmad's mathematical precision in employing bare-bones percussion to captivate, doing away with the formality of a lengthy introduction and urging a hypnotic state with immediate effect.

Jeremy Greenspan & Borys' second 12" on Dan Snaith's Jiaolong label. Recorded in Hamilton at Jeremy's studio. This release sees the two attempting to make Dance music without payoffs; creating tension without release. This is "new age" music for the neurotic.

French producer Julian M joins the Decay Records roster with his 'Reveal Way' EP this June featuring remixes from fellow Parisians DJ W!ld and Chris Carrier. Growing up in the heart of the capital, Julien Marciano started producing in 2010 and has appeared on the likes of Chronovision Records, Denote Records, Homecoming Music and DJ W!ld's Catwash Records. As a DJ he has fast become aa staple in his city's underground scene, regularly performing at the likes of YoYo, Fleche D'Or, Le Quai, Gibus Club, La Centrale and Cirque Bonheur when not trotting the globe to spin in the UK, Italy, Belgium, Israel and Romania - not to mention Barcelona's Sonar Festival. Julian M's 'Butter River' is a dusky production led by firm kicks and a sultry bassline whilst an abstract vox and ghostly atmospherics resound throughout. 'Tu Reviendra' then maintains the sullen tones of its predecessor, however injects plenty of energy with the use of intricate percussion, spectral keys and vigorous build-ups. First up on remix duties DJ W!ld mutates 'Butter River' into a shadowy number that continuously evolves with the aid of a syncopated rhythm and oscillating synth. Chris Carrier's rendition of 'Tu Reviendra' then delivers a heady groove complete with a dour hook and sharp stabs to conclude the release.

Moon Harbour is delighted to announce the Autumn 2016 release of Momentum, the second full length album from label boss Matthias Tanzmann. Arriving eight years after his debut LP Restless, the outstanding follow-up impressively demonstrates that his artistic restlessness has not been decreasing over the last couple of years. On the contrary, Momentum undoubtedly proves once more that Matthias' impact on the scene is still steadily growing with an end not in sight and that his efforts to advance are ever moving forward.


Recent times have found Matthias having huge success via fruitful collaborations with the likes of Martin Buttrich, Davide Squillace and Daniel Stefanik, amongst others, but now back on his own and more energetic than ever, he is firing on all cylinders as a solo artist. Loosely rooted in a variety of house styles, Momentum shows a subtle return to some of Tanzmann's earliest musical roots. Just as Matthias declares himself, 'It is stuff to listen to at home, stuff I like to listen to away from the club', before adding that, 'of course, it also contains tracks that are 100% what I love playing in my DJ sets.'


The ten track release is an impulsive and emotionally moving affair that offers a fantastic snapshot into the current musical mind of the artist. With a process initially starting during his times abroad in Thailand and South America, this most coherent and complete album has been slowly coming together over the last five years. In customary manner, the album is quite different to a normal EP from the German producer, given that it features plenty of deeper and more cerebral moments than most of his past works.


With a perfect mixture between listening pleasure and pure dancefloor material, Momentum contains tracks ranging from deep and broody house style with warm pads streaming over infectious drums to serene and atmospheric jams with real funk in their bones. Next to more downtempo sultry house vibes, the harder, more freaky tunes will get floors bumping with their punchy drums, wiggling synths, drilling bass and loopy vocal sounds. With more soul infused party grooves rounding up the experience, the release truly brings along the whole range of carefully plotted ups and downs necessary for casting the listener under a hypnotic and heartfelt spell of house music.


The album will be celebrated with a worldwide release tour from October to December 2016, highlighting once more that only a few have the exact same sense of electronic music artistry as this man does.

The story of Turmfalke continues, this time featuring Helly Larson with a great dub flavoured track called "Rescue Me" programmed in a deep downtempo manner and acompannied by an acidish remix of Matthias Springer. The original of Matthias comes based on detroit elements and a gentle 303 string while Helly's remix made it into a synthesis of deep techhouse and directly into the playlist of Mr. Hawtin!

This beautiful orange vinyl (limited to 500 copies worldwide) is the latest addition to Mich aka « Analog Devices »'s discography. This 6-tracker EP offers some great underground acid vibes and have the support of the world best acid hero's such as Mike Dred, Woody Mc Bride & Ege Bamyasi.

Analog Devices / Analog Baby has been creating music for over two decades. It began in the late 80's when he swapped his electric guitar for a TB303 and TR606. Together with Modular II and André Stordeur he started to push forward the idea of playing modular live-acts at Techno and Experimental Acid parties in Brussels venues like the infamous PK studio, Bulten, Fuse and Caves de la Chapelle.

Analog Devices was involved in the creation of Subground Technology and its events at the PK Studio, the first big events for Acid and electronica in Belgium. A lot of big guns actually played in this underground hangar, Jeff Mills, Luke Slater, Robert Hood, Mike Dred, Random XS, Steve Bicknell, Ben Long, Bandulu and many more

After a forced break, he rebuilt his studio and 2008 saw the arrival of a new vinyl Analogdevices003 ... on white label .... Which is now rated as a collector Item.

Currently he is organizing alongside with his artistic circle and friends, the WCIA parties which are reviving the feel for the good old days. Outlander, Kosmik Kommando, Ege Bamyasi, Gasmask and many other great names are regularly playing there.

Usurp is an anonymous collective of European artists joining into a unique platform in order to spread their similar musical vision, including IDM and Industrial sonorous experiments, without the need of labeling it, in favour of letting the music do the talking, almost as a protest against the common club culture paradigms. Every release is based on empires' histories, and some of the turning points in their existences. After the first record released back in May 2016, inspired by the Roman Empire - its titles took inspiration from The Life of Brian, since USURP artists love Monty Python since their adolescence - its second installment 'Reconquista' is about the Moors, Islamic inhabitants of Maghreb, Spain, Italy and Malta in Medieval times. 'Taifa' opens up with break beat percussions, locked and acidic patterns and melodically ever rising, mind-blowing textures: the track represents the Muslim cities remained such after the collapse of the caliphate of Cordoba, linking to the uncertainty of the future as happened for those towns. 'Covadonga' follows featuring ravey, sinister atmospheres and is considered to be the starting point of the reconquista, where Don Pelayo took the 'oath of Covadonga' when he swore to fight and win over the Moors. 'Poitiers' is again a break beat cut, it displays enchanting but always hitting rhythms interacting with structurally irregular, restless musical elements: the French city was the
furthest place up north the Moors actually went, stopped there by Charles Martel and his army - it took up until the 15th century before the were thrown off the continent. Your reign is over. Your virtue has become your pitfall. We are here to take over. We do not negotiate. Surrender mind and body. You will comply.'

Returning to Houndstooth a year since the release of his One Sound / Layer Lock EP is Second Storey. After spending most of 2015 focussing on his collaboration with Laurence Osbourne - Second Storey & Appleblim present ALSO - over at R&S Records, Alec Storey came back into the fold as part of the Houndstooth 3rd anniversary compilation earlier this year. Now he returns to the label in full with a gleaming new EP, Bismuth.Initialising the release, title track Bismuth takes inspiration from a documentary on the visually impressive metal. Affected by its angular, complex 3D elements and fluid like structures the music itself mirrors the element's appearance deploying the intricate precision of IDM creating its own multiplex of textures.Created directly after moving into his new studio, second track Vapor Valve is the product of Storey feeling invigorated by his fresh set up. Melodic poly rhythms and chord structures define the track from the outset which work neatly with Storey's trademark tight percussion, which sits in that golden spot between bass and electro.
Bringing the tempo up a couple of notches, Grand Rapid lives up to its title. Urgent in nature, it reflects the environment it was created in - crafted on a laptop while speeding through the countryside on a train. Propelled by its ever-present bassline groove, percussive elements speed and whir by in this pacey venture.Finally, Helicat completes the EP, built around the interplay between the main riff and synth percussion elements; from the outset bit-crushed bass drops and pommels out an electro-esque off beat rhythm while the synth line gives its circling answer. Those looking for deeper meaning to the title Helicat can tune into the bubbling sound that rises up midway, which Storey imaginatively describes as "a cat with helicopter wings on its head, taking off." Second Storey - Bismuth EP is out on 29th July on Houndstooth and will be available in both coloured vinyl and digital formats, vinyl limited to 300 for the world.

Forever Sound is an attempt to make simple, cyclic dance music unbound by metre where melodies and basslines phase against one another like comets around a distant sun: a slow wave on a boundless sea. "Geist" sets about to express that moment when a dancefloor stops being a mass of independent bodies and instead becomes one connected, moving spirit, while "The Fold"
pours waves of cascading synth warmth around the istener.

Limited to 150 - be fast to secure your copy! - no repress. Lower Parts is a Greek label involved in music, fashion, art and multimedia projects and it has been since 2013. After starting by showcasing lots of local talent, next up on the label is international talent Andreas Gehm aka Elec Pt1, who gets remixed by Damcase and Anoplois. German Andreas is an acid and techno innovator who has released on Mathematics and Chiwax and here comes correct with two great new cuts.

First up, Universe is a busy, mind altering track with cold, serene chords front and centre and manic synths gurgling about in the background. Funky and weird, abstract but colourful, it's a truly fresh track that will make for plenty of WTF moments on the 'floor. 'I Don't Care' is a more traditional deep acid cut, but still the textures and hooks are odd and occult, standing the track apart from the crowd. The acid is increasingly energetic throughout and manages to sound both clean and crisp and dirty and naughty at the same time.

Remixing 'Universe', Anopolis are a collective of four Thessaloniki based producers who recently released a well received debut album. Their version of the track is all reflective surfaces and sprightly drums with plenty of groove electro overtones tied up within. Live specialist and hardware man Damcase is a greek guy currently living and working as a sound engineer at Roodkapje Rotterdam. His remix of 'I Don't Care' is deep and bubbly, littered with sci-fi signifiers and grows increasingly untuned throughout.

This is an inventive package from the Greek label that suggest they are well worth keeping an eye on.

Elektrax Recordings is back, and not only is Elektrax Recordings back, it's also the return of some legends. The 'Big Room EP', by nobody else than the maestro Orlando Voorn contains some tracks you are not likely to forget, and comes with remixes by the one and only comeback kid Ortin Cam and Chris Colburn.

Needless to say, title track 'Big Room' provides the quality to be just like the name suggests; a throbbing kick and bassline and those great old-school hoovers. Ortin Cam delves a bit deeper with his remix, but undeniably, after some minutes in, profiles itself as peak time as Orlando Voorn's original.

On the B-side, we find 'The Booming System', by which the name alone already tells us, this one's not for the faint of heart. With the same heavy old-school vibe as the a-side, this one's a banger, start to finish. Chris Colburn's remix ends the EP with a deep tribal feel, providing for a great tool in all DJ sets.

Incolor is a collage of distinctive sounds, purposed to disturb the listener's reality, smearing paradoxical stances throughout the entire record. TRCKV01 approach differs from normality. The beginning of each side taints mystery and a relaxed state while the following smears vigor to the record. On the A-side, Greorogythme casts minimalistic glitches onto the cosmic Watch The Stars Falling, while Scopter & iON bring an excess of drums and dub, enfolding in a persisting voice that forms Muntele De La Mare. On the B-side, Key Clef builds an ever-growing tension on disrupted tempos, over persisting wobbles, all which finalize in Keep The Deep. Finally, Dual Shaman lash out on the closing track, with a hard to digest overload of kicks, drums all wrapped in a hard to digest CroMagnon. The record is as complex in sound as colors on a canvas painting, going in depth, exploring unheard mixtures and combinations. Heard entirely, it paints a perfect colored picture.

Hungarian imprint Farbwechsel has built up a varied and interesting discography over its 4 years of existence. This limited edition cassette from 'Bouchons D'orelles' deviates slightly from the label's normal aesthetic, taking a more industrial/drone route with the original tracks. Started in 2012, it focuses on a more experimental and meditative approach to techno, one suffused with jazz sensibilities and cosmic mindset.' Our favorit Romanian artist known for his productions, his quality Amphia label, a:rpia:r as well as his SIT project with Vlad Caia teams up with DeWalta from Berlin who continues to refine his output on Meander. These two kindred spirits met at DeWaltas studio to create a spaced-out musical treatment, captivating body and mind. Lisa Milloy, joined the creative process, adding beautifully flowing words, recorded in one take as stream of conciousness. Breath in and dance to their melodies with a clever groove that just flows onwards. With the record Basorelief, released in 2014 Meander already introduced the greatly talented Cristi Cons to its circle.
