Allen Saei, better known as Aubrey, is a unique DJ and record producer. This funny nickname came from the 80s British cartoon series where the main character had this red nose like him on the first day at the new school after moving from Portsmouth to Cowplain.

Aubrey's career though, is not funny at all since he is considered a pioneer of the global tech-house scene. Like a true rock star, it seems he lived a kind of troubled life across Europe, with a reputation that has made him very well respected in the US also, already in the mid 90s.

He's always played the best clubs and festivals at the four corners of the world, produced some crucial records for labels such as Crayon, Ferox, Intelligence and his own Solid Groove. He's recorded under a few different monikers, including Alien Disco which is also the name of label he self-released this 2x12" on originally.

The WeMe Astrohistorical Museum curates select pieces from CN's fragmented past, displaying a collection of tracks from the digital compilation More Obscure Research on 12" for the first time.

Delsin turns its attention to the archives of one of the great early pioneers of Dutch techno - Eevo Lute Muzique. The label was founded in 1991 by Wladimir Manshanden and Stefan Robbers (who was already recording seminal early techno records as Terrace for Djax-Up-Beats). Channeling the inspiration of the Detroit originators and mixing it up with their own synth pop and new wave influences, Manshanden and Robbers (adopting the Florence alias) forged a bold aesthetic with Eevo Lute, both musically and visually. This was an early iteration of techno as listening music, with an emphasis on expression and narrative over dancefloor functionality, helped in no small part by Manshanden's striking poetry. This double set of remastered, reissued tracks gathers together the earliest Florence and Wladimir M. material, largely recorded between 1991 and 1994, across five discs - the definitive document of a treasured piece of Dutch techno history. This year Kevin Saunderson, Ann Saunderson and Paris Grey, collectively known as the legendary band Inner City, release 'Future', their first entirely new material since parting company in 2001, written and produced in collaboration with another Detroit legend, namely Kenny Larkin.

The track marks a welcome return for a group that combined the tough, futuristic grooves of the Detroit scene with the vocal energy of R&B and gospel and helped to define the period in which house and techno moved from underground phenomena to top 10 material, paving the way for hundreds of dance hits to come.

'Future' is devastatingly catchy and highly emotional, exhibiting all the soulful flavours and qualities you would expect from these celebrated producers and singers. Masterfully re-edited by Carl Craig this track ascends to a higher place whilst Kenny Larkin is on remix duties, beautifully reworking the original into a techno infused monster with intoxicating staccato vocals.

Delsin founder Marsel Van Der Wielen revives his Peel Seamus alias for a debut album proper. The leading Dutch techno label began in 1996 with a cassette-only Peel Seamus release, Publik Draft, which Van Der Wielen primarily distributed through early online channels of communication. There was a small flurry of 12" releases from the project around the turn of the century, but for a long time Peel Seamus has been quiet. Now Van Der Wielen has gathered together tracks from his archives, mostly written and recorded circa 2000, to present the Peel Seamus debut album proper, Susurro. Rooted in the classic Detroit and European techno that Delsin's identity is forged on, it's a deep, rich listen laden with heart and soul to match the mechanics of Van Der Wielen's chosen tools - a masterclass in expressive electronics and a fascinating insight into the musical DNA behind one of the world's finest techno labels.

The 7th release on BLKMARKET MUSIC comes from Samuel Jabba and is the first part of the Dystopian Future series.

Samuel Jabba is the label co-founder of a new vinyl only label called From the Void Above. Hailing from Bogotá, Colombia, Samuel is a young DJ and talented producer who creates music spanning different genres of electronic music.


On his debut release for Blkmarket Music, the A side starts off with his electro track ‘Acid Pleasure’ on A1. The A2 track ‘Space Mirage’ takes you on an outer space voyage focusing on the more deeper side of techno.


The B side kicks off with his heady breakbeat track ‘Robotics’ on the B1. On B2, Samuel takes us on a dark journey with his minimal electro track entitled ‘Random Demise.’

For our third release on The Secret Sun series, we compiled a second volume of previously unreleased material from the DATs archive of Ballet Mechanique. Produced between 1992 and 1999 and spanning thru different styles all the tracks have Ballet Mechanique’s distinctive and very unique sound: emotive, epic, ravey, funky, uplifting, romantic… some of our favourite adjectives to describe Jeroen Borrenbergs’ music.

Straight off the back of a classic release on Derrick May’s label Transmat, Australian techno pioneer Biz is back with another ep of serious techno grooves. He creates a vibe that seduces the soul yet also has the tough elements that work so effectively on the dancefloor. This is the thirteenth release on Biz’s own label cliq which was founded in 2002 and is a reminder that Australian techno is here to stay…serious vibes!!

After two extended chapters of Outbound, fully showcasing our labels artist roster, Outbound.4 is a crisp double A-Side affair - featuring two killer Techno workouts courtesy of our French stalwart Anthony George Patrice followed up by two Deep/Dub House delights delivered by Son Dos.

Without a doubt, Berlin based frenchman Anthony George Patrice steadily adjusted and developed his sound to a higher level over the last years. His contribution on Side A - "DBZU (Eine Brücke Zum Übermenschen)" and "Crowned Eagle" exposing new artistic shades and Anthony's ability to take you on a sonic journey and soak you into his rich and driving deeper Techno soundscapes.

Side AA belongs to Son Dos - a creative power plant by two Sweden born men: Barcelona based Marco Gegenheimer and Tapia J. Arriagada living in Malta. The duo already caused a stir with their debut "Children Of Almost" on Outcast Oddity. Marco also released some great music on Studio Barnhus as one half of MLiR!
On our Outbound.4 the guys showcase two amazing cuts originated from fruitful studio jams.

The beautiful "Cala" is hypnotizing us in deep, meditative balearic territories while her powerful brother "Maffio" might have had a little testosterone injection along the way and moves us straight onto the dancefloor. Both tunes are capable to unveil their power outdoors just as much as they will in a sweaty basement!

On the flipside, Carl Finlow and London Modular Alliance deliver a much darker, muscular style with 2 well executed and inch-tight electro cuts.

Kevin Foakes (Openmind, DJ Food, Ninja Tune) created all the graphic work. Pressed on 180 grams vinyl and a separate digital version will be available from the usual digital shops. Stay tuned!

We’re putting out the first Mister Saturday Night Records release in a long while. It’s by Russell E.L. Butler, and it’s called “Blah Blah”. The record comes out on Friday, September 4, and it contains three tracks made in Prague at the Synthesizer Library and one track made in Russell’s pre-New York home in Oakland.

On the EP’s release date Sept 4th, which is Bandcamp Day, all of the Mister Saturday Night Records share of Bandcamp proceeds from the release will go to Princess Janae Place, an organization that provides referrals to housing for chronically homeless LGBTQ adults in the New York Tri-state area, with direct emphasis on Trans/GNC people of color.

The second EP in Vince Watson's DnA series. 'DnA', an almost 20 track album project focusing purely on Detroit Techno and House and what might be his biggest and best album to date. Coming on his own Everysoul Audio label, Vince's 12th album has been years in the making and see's him go directly back to his Detroit roots. 'DnA EP2' features three exclusive tracks of hi tech soul, heart warming melodies with uplifting motor city grooves. All leading up to a full double pack to be released later in 2019. It was being requested to remake Rhythim Is Rhythim's 'Icon' and 'Kao-tic Harmony' by Derrick May himself in 2015 that greatly inspired Vince to begin writing new original Detroit material and was the catalyst for 'DnA's inception. The album is a dedication and reflection of the three waves of Detroit Techno that inspired a generation and countless electronic producers around the globe. Watson wanted to honour this in the music as closely as possible. Hints of Derrick May, Carl Craig, Mad Mike, Juan Atkins, Kenny Larkin, Stacey Pullen and Dan Curtin can all be heard influencing across the album.

Shinedoe drops her second release on her own Music That Moves label, following on from last year's outstanding Mutant Frequencies EP.

Razor is a four track release that cements the label boss’s role as one of the most important producers in the scene, highlighting her powerful, refined sound throughout the different versions included here.
The original of Razor is as sharp and deadly as the title suggests - a taut, edgy production built around a propulsive rhythm, great swarths of razor-sharp synths and fizzing, popping percussion. The Dub Version strips away the metallic synths and focuses in on the rhythmic interplay of drums, bass and percussion, resulting is a spacy, dubbed out techno weapon.

The remixes come courtesy of Rob Kirkaldy, aka Roberto - the London based techno producer whose exciting, direct sound shows influences from Detroit as well as his hometown. The first remix is a rolling, deep banger - that seems to develop in intensity as waves of sounds merge and meld, guided by laser like percussion. Roberto’s second remix strips away some of the additional layers, and reveals a sleek, rhythmic structure that takes it cues from some of the lords of Detroit techno.

Hugo (Mobilee, Gruuv, Systematic), Aidan Lavelle (Crosstown Rebels, Rebellion, Culprit) and Bvoice & Anrilov (Arma 17) join JCB and Highway Records on a perfect dark and rolling tech house Uppsala EP.

Redshape is back on one of his main labels, Delsin. Having released since 2006 on the Amsterdam imprint he is now back with another four track EP exploring his smoky and atmospheric sound design. Military styled marching drums and an intense growing rubbery bassline marking title track 'Android Malfunction'. Where 'Passenger' stays low and deep with layered up synths that speak of a sparse, dehumanised future world. Closing with the zoned out deep techno cut 'A New Home', lost in dreamy melody sequences that are beautifully melancholic and expansive. As ever, Redshape's visionary brand of techno remains seriously moving here.

After a five year hiatus from releasing music--during which time PTA maintained focus on expanding the catalog of their labels Pittsburgh Tracks, Love What You Feel, Machine Age Records, and Sleeve -- Preslav and Adam are back with a rejuvenated outlook on music and a renewed sense of purpose. The new album titled PA System is a collection of house and techno written to serve as a document of the past 18 months. As always with PTA, friends near and far, old and new, were a part of the writing process and the album includes collaborations with C. Scott, Santiago Salazar, Stuart Bogie, Nic Offer, Samurai Velvet, John Hall, and Kenny Peagler.
