New outgrowth of the Blaník research program, the young Korean artist Seaen Lee offers a four tracker speculative/experimental hybrid techno research. It's about fierce and heading forces, flashing shades coming out of nowhere. These aquatic and abyssal hummings, among other technoïds and abstract blushes, have no other choice but to take out for real. Must be used with wise hands.

* Haunter Records' 2017 kicks off with two new displays of aural expansion by longtime members of the Milan-based crew. Twin singles from Weightausend and Petit Singe that also mark the label's first ventures into 7" format. Through heavy use of darkened breakbeats and angular dynamics, each of the two producers sets out to have their unique sonic approach ring on throughout the sprawl.

Matthias Girardi AKA Weightausend keeps on compiling his private neuroses in a process that seems to achieve catharsis through gloomy analysis and maniacal surgical dissection. Hammering down on his dubwise tendencies and his love for the dark side of jungle, he gives out his most club-oriented work to date, channeling two new bassy rollercoasters, including a new version of "Green Death".

Taking influence from this technic, Fango embarked on a long insular trip, reflecting down till the depths of his own soul. The outcome of this arcane ritual is "Viscera", a series of 3 EP's focused on the pure essence of Fango's artistic delirium.

Porn Sword Tobacco and SVN return to Kontra-Musik for another untouchable release far off the beaten techno track. Trying anxiously to get with whatever is fashionable right now has never been Kontra-Musik's way of doing things, and the same goes for Porn Sword Tobacco and SVN. That's why we're such a good match. The A-side consists of an eleven minutes scuba dive into the deep. The water is warm and pleasant and bright colored fishes in all shapes and sizes are swimming all around you, creating an abundance of shimmering bubbles. You'll be amazed by all the micro-rhythms and deep basses down here, but as you descend further down the scenery changes: The water gets cooler and more acidic and the sea life stranger and less gaudy. But there are still glitchy rhythms and bubbly basses everywhere in the dark, so keep going. As you touch down on bottom of the sea, you'll hit the B-side. You'll need both your feet down here, because here comes the kick drum and it's in good company. The beat shares it's trembling minimal core with Plastikman's Snark, but there's more pace and concentrated driving force - a force that's getting even stronger as the record enters it's last chapter, almost causing a sea floor rift.

Recent output has seen Dorisburg pushing into deeper realms. Computer Drumming are some further steps in these explorations of 4/4 rhythms and acoustic depth. With a wide range in tempo, the track titles offers aid for the venturous. A1 is a reduced jam of echoing percussion that never sees the entry of a kick drum. A2 compensates with bouncing bass and a playful array of drumming elements entering and dropping off in a bold tempo. Exiting on a more well established pulse, the B side consists of the deepest and most mysterious offering from Dorisburg to date. Distant bells and chimes and a grand formation of percussion meets thundering bass in an encounter set on vast grounds.

Es ist vollbracht! Mit "POTGH - The Remixes II" hat die Release Trilogy zu Dr. Motte meets Gabriel Le Mar's "Puttin' On The Green Hat" endlich komplett.
