The last tune of this EP is the reason why i wanted to press these tunes from HFK...
Then i saw he did a cover version of the Jones and Stephenson famous rebirth....
As Mr Gazmask did one on Acid Night i decided to press these tunes on Acid Night and not on Rouge De Colère... just for the eye-blink...
And then HFK introduced my to his second projects (of many) called « Molecule SCAM »... And this long a-side tune, 180 BPM killer was the thing... reminding me very strong another famous tune Prime Assault it was called...
Well, this project is a bit special compared to the othe Acid Night... Not an easy record to sell probably... But what a bomb...

Typically punk from its inception 'Obsolete Medium' is an electronic adrenaline shot that mixes straight up hard-hitting D&B with sonic experiments that will leave jaws well and truly dropped. Including collaborations with some of his most respected peers namely Sam Binga, Breakage, Phace and Hyroglifics, Rockwell delivers a truly engrossing album encapsulating his growth from drum & bass artist through to one of the most accomplished music producers and DJ's to have emerged in recent times.


* 'After a lot of hard work and long days and nights in the studio, I am very proud to present my debut album 'Obsolete Medium'. Being honest, I was struggling for the last few years by trying to write a certain type of music that I thought people were expecting of me, and consequently not making much progress. I took a conscious decision to let the tunes develop organically and not try to force their direction. What resulted is a very naturally constructed collection of music reflecting my wide range of influences - punk drum fills, techno basses, dusty white noise and neon synths - whilst not heavily mirroring anything too obviously specific, and eschewing many of the cliches of modern dance music production. All the while, not taking the process too seriously and not being afraid to poke fun at myself and the traps of being an electronic music producer. I'm really happy to have a some of my friends on here with me including Breakage, Sam Binga, Hyrogliphics and long time sparring partner Phace. Shouts to you guys. I think that if you have found anything in my production, from the early days of 'Stowaway Dub' to 'Childhood Memories' to more recent tunes like 'Detroit', there should be something on the LP that will strike a chord with you.

Superb mental tribe digger... Molecule Prod did just a superb openner, just like Axelbud Vs FKS did on the start of the B-side, with a little Trance VS Tribe effect. Last track, by Puch-K is a classic acidcore style, boosted by a dry unconfortable kick and woufa effects in the veine of JMF. A good melt... A2 from Smeo is a bit different with a more hardcore, or hangar ambiance reminding the Things To Come... in a Tribe way maybe:) Specially with those vocals in the tunes... A very good record !

Serioulsy violent opening on this EP with a massive deep hardcore shaker 175 BPM. Then comes the Nuklear Waste Society and it 170 BPM sustained hard kick and deep acid spirals... A side brings a loud dancefloor middlenight sound ! B sides open on a Acid breakcore tune, at the Crossbreed frontier without passing it for real... too hard for them ! Too ritch in sound ! Finishing with Mental Breed, a superb acid bath of beats and never surrender 4/4 dancefloor effect.... Twisting music !

There is a total System Failure tricks here... not sure everybody gonne love this... but it's not digital and it's total secure on the way... It's just a game, a trick about what is digital music. A little

The 01 from the label is already very hard to find and this second opus will be a master pice as well... Trankorr open this EP with a solid kicker, very in the Obscur style... Second track brings a leading acid and brings a real impression of acceleration. B side opens with Wazig and a superb broken acid track turning 4/4 after the break in a Raving acid sound. Last track is a good classic acid hard techno track, melting the modern hard kick to the Acid ESP kind of waves.

Repress!
One sided 7inch color blue. With one track... probably french only can understand the joke. It's a song from Gainsbourg called 'le poinconneur des lilas' transformed into 'the Partyguy from les Lilas'. Kind of an Anthem for Free Party guys. A bit like the One Night In Hackney, but in a Free Party french version. As the sound was nasty we went and cut this properly in a decent studio, and sound is really amazing compared to the You tube version. A superb little collectable tune. ENJOY !

Hallcuinator delivers their first album with 11 tracks on Yellow-Stripe Recordings.

After a huge release collection, and a lot of big labels they finally decide to make an album. This album is full of tracks that shows exacly what Hallucinator is and what are their influences since Metal, to Hardcore and obvious always having Hard Drum and Bass as a 'line'.

This album also includes a lot of collaboration with Counterstrike 'Revolver', Cooh' The Solution', C-Netik 'Drop Bombs' and featuring Mc Coppa 'Sick Society'.

Its impossible to mention only 1 track from this amazing album you have to listen and choose for yourself.

Three excellent 160 BPM hard Techno tribe oldschool Wako style tunes... and one collab with Barouf.

After a long threatening of being kicked, the first track shout its underground acid waves in the best way possible... Second track brings also a good dry kickerbended and aiming an impossible horizon... meeting some industrial acid sounds. Last track breath some good fresh air, with a balade kick and a happy acid bleeper. Once again an excellent record full of personality. Enjoy !

G-23 makes his debut under the Strange Audio Dreams moniker, coming through on Italy's young Art-Aud label with a sweltering two-tracker backed by two heavy remixes. "Error Design 1" is a break-driven jam that never truly drops into pool of nastiness, leaving you yearning more, while "Error Design 2" strips the beats in favour of glitchy field recordings and percussion-driven drones. Pan's NHK YX Koyxen remixes the former into a wonky bit of brain dynamite, pushing those breaks in and out his melodic waves, Cardopusher makes a deep techno roll out of the same original tune. All in all, a rather essential piece of gear.
