This is the result of the Webzine Electroziq's Nightmare contest!

More than 60 tracks were selected... and people had to vote! A jury composed of musicians and producers from the free party scene had to choose their favourite tunes. Anonymously of course.

The result is here. On Vinyl: we got 4 winners!
And so we have 2 Tribecore tunes, starting with Kroter and his fat kick, at the Hardcore Frontier after the break!
Then comes Binary Squad and a bloody hard Pumpin dark rave Speedtechno...
B-side brings a different point of view with one superb Hardcore & crossbreed track from KaiNomed, that breaks the rules of both styles.
To finish, a chill mental tribe tune, System NO3 did bring a superb progressive hypnotik acid and melodious electronic bolero!

All this music is a good representation of the skillz and tastes of the Electroziq webzine and forum community!

These 3 tracks represent our view on modern hard electronic music. Famous Hungarian hitman Mystification strikes uncompromisingly with the schranz & bass banger 'Recovery', Tugie (UK) increases the offensive concept with the hip-hop hardcore crossover 'Bad Motherfucker' and Spanish warriors eRRe & Hardlogik blast us with their unique 'bumba' style's clanging snares and violent kicks from 'Perfect Hunting Machine'. That's we are, and we'll not dwell on this.

* Präsens Editionen is happy to release 7-Split, a 7inch split-EP presenting two tracks from Basel-based rave connoisseur Fabian Peña.

* Fabian Peña is a producer, DJ and promoter from Basel with ties to the local collectives Acc-Ess and Klappfon. Key to his work are different varieties of rave music. This said, he knows absolutely no reservations neither with pop nor with noise and blends everything into his crazy dance mixes.

* Präsens Editionen dug deep into his vast archive of tracks and found two gems that are particularly striking: a live recording from a collaborative noise project called -Nilbog and a Mr.Mitch-like peace-dub of Gabber under his Mr.Peña moniker.

* As —Nilbog Peña approaches—together with collaborator Jan Kunz aka L.A.B. —noise and rhythms with a very specific set of rules, while at the same time trying to break out of them. 'Liverecording 02/11/16' is an example of this polar approach: an ever-changing, unpredictable and as-harsh-AND-fun-as-it-gets piece of music.

* On the flipside Mr.Peña lets loose, aiming at hardcore dance floors while balancing between fight-or-flight terror and pacifying joy. It is a fact: 'TMC (The Markt Chornicles)' is the sweetest thing that'll tear you apart this year.

* PE-009 will be released as a 7inch, edition of 300 copies, and features a special artwork by Peña and Kunz.

A blaster... defenitly harder than the Metal Plus metal 01, with a solid old school connection to the newskool... Hard, very hard. Beautiful. Very beatiful. Undeground hardcore !
