"Existences" is the highly anticipated first album by Neurocore, a talented French artist known for his thought-provoking compositions. This album is a culmination of years of introspection and exploration into the complexities of human existence. During the Covid lockdown, Neurocore found himself with the precious gift of time, allowing him to delve deep into his creative process and tackle profound questions through music.

Each of the 13 tracks on the album tells a story, evoking emotions and painting vivid sonic landscapes. The cover art, meticulously crafted by URRU, captures the essence of the album's concept - a mesmerizing blue vortex symbolizing the unknown and the powerful energy that draws us towards it.

Neurocore breaks free from the confines of being labeled solely as a "speedcore producer." The third release on this rave inspired label comes by an old school hardcore legend Diplomat. Diplomat spent the early 90’s recording rave and hardcore on his own Immunity Records with the tracks being engineered by Hellfish. He then joined Hellfish on his Deathchant and Bogwoppa labels where he continued to release Hardcore Techno throughout the 90’s. Recently, Diplomat’s first EP ‘Here Comes Mongo’, a highly collectable piece of vinyl exchanging hands on Discogs for up to £100, was re-released on Amen Brothers sister label Vinyl Fanatiks.


This EP showcases Diplomats original love, that of Hardcore Jungle Techno, in which he draws upon his skills from back in the day whilst utilising the technology of the present. There are three brand new productions that turn up the Fantazia levels alongside a remix by his old production partner Beagle, who he worked with under the guise of NARC on Bogwoppa back in 1993. That EP is highly sort after as well, with prices running up to £200 a copy on Discogs.

Swipe, swipe, swoosh the next bassline, the next hysterical hookline and the next drop is just a fingertip away. Rewind counter clockwise and again. 140 bpm is the goal on this, split on red solid vinyl with Terrorrythmus and Istari Lasterfahrer each gathering three tunes. While Terrorrythmus delivers his updated version of uk hardcore the flipside with Istari Lasterfahrer's tracks have a more old schoolish rough tracker vibe.

Indeed, it happened again. My vision is completely blurred and all I am able to see are vague moving shapes. Although, it seems I can hear perfectly fine. The manifestations I am seeing are moving, curiously synchronized with the sound I can hear. I wonder if those shapes are pulsating because they are hallucinations of my brain or real things dancing to the rhythm I hear. I am myself vibrating too and I cannot remember when it started. It is curiously pleasing to feel connected to these fluctuations, but suddenly the music stops and I start to feel dizzy. I can’t see anything anymore! In fact, I do not even feel my body. Did I ever have one ?

The debut release from Skooler and Flare, a trio of hardcore producers that we were made aware of by the legend that is EQ.

These guys know how to enhance that raw, 90’s underground sound with expertise and its one of the demos that we ended up playing pretty much non-stop when it arrived.

‘Cyberspace’ exploration of desire and its endless repetition. The frenetic energy of this track mirrors the insatiable hunger of consumer culture.
’Is There No Alternative’ the title track offers a sense of reflection and departure. It echoes Fisher's thoughts on escaping the boundaries of the present moment.
‘Ghosts Of My Life’ this track encapsulates Fisher's critique of our modern capitalist society. The heavy beats mirror the relentless grind of capitalism, while the haunting melodies reflect the loss of authentic experiences.

"I hated this record by the time it came out, when Jeff told me that due to confusion at the pressing plant they had pressed 1000 copies instead of 500 I was most upset, but of course it was a hit.

I disliked it so much that I actually recorded over the original master dat when we were parked in Portugal, sourcing dat tapes on the road was often tricky if we were parked in remote places and some of the tracks we find here are taken from the original vinyl.

I don’t know why I disliked it so much, but I remember I felt embarrassed about the snoring song, I had thought that a sample of a snore would sound like a Bassline, but I think we can all understand that it doesn’t. The recording was not actually anyone I knew, but sampled from a dub record."
