On the first track, My Day, a steady 4-beat tries to keep up with a sinister synth line that has broken free from its lace. On the b-side Blau starts of as a warm hypnotic groover climbing towards a multi layered soundscape. Breaka-Breaka is a creaking and acidic techno track soaked in organic percussion

The second of two EPs from talented Californian newcomer, Tyler Friedman, has now arrived. A Night in the Woods EP starts of as a murky rhythmic experiment. When released of its bound, it transforms into a hailstorm of sound that builds in melodic intensity towards a final climax. This is scenic and brave electronic dancemusic that over and over again will capture the focused listener. On the b-side Rivet for sure push Tyler towards Berghain. But now the tool is somewhat different. Rivet transforms the cinematic original into a very dirty and dry party stomper.

His tools — water, iron and microphones — are used to transport the listener through time and place. A true voyage through forgotten ritualism and symbolism, these extracts aim to grind contemporary dance music to its barest essentials, making long-lost times ours again.

Position 12 is a story telling record inspired by the childhood of Romain Azzaro, aka Rouge Mécanique. One introduction and two dance pieces extracted from the crude reality he had to experience at an early age. The evolving sound of this EP throws its listeners into the dark and violent places that belong to his past. The childish melody of the intro suddenly opens on an intense break beat and ends with Vimory, a brutal and profound track.

DJ Ralf is the Italian icon who runs the much loved Laterra Recordings label and management, and is now back with 'Er Suonone', a new track from Margot that is all set to be a late summer smash. Anyone who has heard the legendary DJ Ralf (a cult figure who has been the subject of a documentary, has played all over the world, runs his own legendary Bella Ciao party and holds a cult residency in Cocorico) play recently will most likely have heard this track in his set, and it has been an unknown but much loved secret weapon for a while now. As such this one sided vinyl pressing will please many people who have been hunting it down. Margot, of course, is an Italian pair of accomplished producers who have released on, Les Disques de la Mort, Hell Yeah and Border Community and run their own Margot Records label. 'Er Suonone' is a pumping, deep, slow burning bit of cosmic house that builds and builds and teasers listens without ever releasing the pressure. Monstrous kick drums drive it down below, pixelated stabs add suspense in the distance and icy hi hats slither in the foreground. It's the sort of track to drop right at the peak time and it will surely go right off, with people fist pumping along to the groove.

Sound and rhythm are effective means of individual's self-defence in face of chaotic steamroller of everyday life. Hiding in a familiar yet simultaneously hardly recognisable parallel space does not have to result from the need of escaping the world or nurturing one's ego. Too many times to mention, music appearing under Recognition imprint served as a peculiar type of a vehicle of survival and a tool for internal transformation. Hideland', new record by Polish electronic music producer Jacek Sienkiewicz is released precisely year after Drifting', which largely explored tropes of classical club techno sound. Eight (nine in extended CD version) tracks comprising this album go beyond easy-to-pigeonhole genres, creating a microcosm of utopian sound constructs. Surprisingly unobvious and precisely composed release could be fascinating both for loyal fans and for new listeners looking for threads of experimentalism. It's another intriguing proposal in Jacek Sienkiewicz's growing discography, but above all - a laboratory where dreams and artistic visions metamorphose into concrete reality.

NOON means midday, the time when the sun is at its highest each day, even if we cannot see it.
It is the moment of greatest light, where one cycle ends and another begins. It is the end of the day and the beginning of the night. It is that brightest moment that always leads us to the darkest one, and vice versa.

THE EP
Our first EP is called LOVING ONCE AGAIN, which is the perfect name to describe our current circumstances, both personally and professionally.

THE ARTIST
The author of this fabulous track is ROMANO ALFIERI, an amazing person in whom we see ourselves reflected. He is the product of both talent and hard work. He is someone who loves music.


We are proud that he is representing us. He is also the newest member of our small family NOON artists, our management and bookings agency.
We can't think of a better way to welcome him than this.

GUTI
We have asked GUTI (Desolat) to remix our first track because
HE's that organic part of the music that Reboot and I come from. GUTI is Rock 'n' Roll, he's the most organic, most acoustic part of our genre. We love and admire him.

REBOOT
Reboot had to remix Romano's track, the first one from our label, because in the end HE is the soul of all this. All of the rest of us at NOON are part of the mechanism needed to make this all happen. Reboot is the talent.

RAW ROOTZ returns with its fourth release. Its been a hell of a ride already for the vinyl imprint, having seen
003 from Jorge Savoretti and 001 & 002 from Raw Rootz (Scan Mode & Alvaro Sanchez) pick up an
overwhelming stream of support from friends and respected peers.
So to 004 the label welcomes Diego Gonzalez, aka Papol. Having spent much of the late nineties and early
noughties wearing his promoter hat, it was a hook up with fellow promoter Kasper that rst lead to the path of
production. Since his debut release in 2006 - a collaboration with Kasper on Igloo - Diego has gone on to release
music on Ilian Tape, Lessizmore, Savor Music and, very much his home label, Esperanza.

Today, under his Papol guise, he makes his RAW ROOTZ debut with two tough, rough and more than ready
originals in the form of the hypnotic 'Exedra' and the popping synth-driven gem 'Rdl'. For the remixes, the label
call on friend and Savor Music boss Franco Cinelli, who adds his own powerful synth line to Exedra, before Raw
Rootz themselves go to work on Rdl.

With the first Monasterio release, the team behind the Moscow clubbing institution has aimed to recreate
the atmosphere that has made the club such an important part of the Russian techno movement. Each track
from the compilation strives to represent a dimension of the club's style, starting with powerful opener The
Chamber. Oliver Deutschmann, a close friend of Monasterio, references the main room of the club and takes
us on an anthemic ride full of organs and sonic spectrum requisitioning buzz. The mutating and pulsating groove
of Russian resident Unbalance follows, bringing forth a change in the atmosphere and the hypnotic synths
and austere percussion work of young Ukrainian talent Recid take the listener to the prime hours of the party.
Danish DJ/producer Anastasia Kristensen overtakes by ways of air in a high-speed modular chase, bringing the
night to a close and leaving us with high hopes for our next journey through the corridors and chambers of the temple of techno

Adding to his extensive and diverse catalog, Alexi Delano delivers his first release for Spectral Sound. My Busted SH-101 is an ode to the beloved and portable synthesizer made by Roland in the early 80s, not long before Delano started DJing. As a producer, he's earned a reputation for being a bit of a machine himself, churning out records on a wide variety of labels over the last 20 years. He holds his own in house music under his A.D.N.Y. moniker, but it's with tracks such as this one that show off his love for dark, weird techno that sits comfortably alongside Spectral's finest.

'My Busted SH-101' flutters and pulsates wildly throughout, with a heavy bass kick driving from the start. The sonic rabbit hole soon opens up to crackling, crunching melodies - Delano pitching up and down, making the synth sing in his own experimental fashion. The b-side remix is also a gem, provided by Alexi's long-time friend and occasional production partner Jesper Dahlbäck. Going by his revered alias The Persuader, Jesper's interpretation adds beautiful, sweeping dub echoes and pushes the lower end to the front, creating a strong dancefloor vibe with warmth and attitude.

We are very proud and honered to release this ep by Function aka Dave Sumner from Sandwell District.

One of techno's true underground heroes, Function (Dave Sumner) has been DJing and making music for over 15 years. Hailing from New York, he was seduced by techno music when Jeff Mills held a residency (as well as his own first) at the Limelight in the early 90s. Dave started to produce music and from the mid-90s onwards, put out music on Damon Wild's Synewave and his own Infrastructure imprint.

Together with Regis (Karl O'Connor) he worked as Portion Reform, putting out uncompromising music on Downwards and becoming the only non-Birmingham producer to release on the label. In 2008 Dave moved to Berlin, still working with Regis, and now Silent Servant (John Mendez), put his focus on the acclaimed Sandwell District imprint.

Obsessed is a supper powerfull floating track for the dancefloor, a typical Function production.

This ep also contains remixes from Substance and SCB aka Scuba, both peak-time tracks.
