EMEX is the emergent project of George Apergis, who is the owner of Modular Expansion records. His brand new release 'Hyperion' is a collaboration with Studio 416, a mysterious project which based in Berlin. 'Hyperion' is a hypnotic, minimal track with deep chords which progresses into darker territories while the dark strings come. The release includes 3 massive remixes. The first one has been remixed from Alexander Kowalski, who has created a perfect groovy tool with his unique classic style, an instant hit. The second remix is coming from the legendary Brian Sanhaji, who is making the track darker with his pumping futuristic version. The release is closing with the hard, minimal and melodic remix from Subjected of Vault Series, an artist from the upcoming Berlin techno scene.

Four tracks of pure sonic abandon, everything about theirpartnership sparkles with authenticity and soul. Created during an extended jamming session, each cut has a unique life and sound of its own but they all share a rich sense of unhurried momentum.

Mystical and dreamy motifs play key themes throughout as each track provides of space and pace for the main elements to explore and make themselves known before entwining into something much stronger than the sum of their parts. With subtlety, each piece reveals its own character... The arid sandy spiritual psychedelic twangs promise trips to faraway lands on 'Panick' and the relentless dubby reflections and synth ripples cause introspective meltdown on the heads-down chug-it-out 'Hold'.

Deeper into panic mode we spiral as the shimmering lightness and delicacy of the arpeggio suddenly evolve into the celestialbreakdown on 'Spice Jam' and the gradual build of percussivelayers on The Bamboo Dance guarantee dancefloor hypnosis.
Carved in the most hands-on machine spirit, all four tracks tell an exciting new tale for the new year. The only people panicking here are those who sleep on these. Stay tuned for more alarming sounds.

Andre Crom teams up with mysterious vocalist Ségou to present an EP connecting Electronica and Tech House.

The pack starts with Andre's club mix, an intense arp-driven dancefloor burner, using heavily effected parts of the vocal to create a tripped out frenzy on the dancefloor.

Johannes Brecht, one of 2015's breakthrough artists thanks to his releases on labels like Poker Flat or Diynamic, delivers a pristine remix in his very own jazz-house-electronica sound.

The pack is completed by Andre's "Acoustronic" version, a melodic and melancholic song, fusing electronic and live instrumentation with Ségou's haunting vocals.

Silencio, a new label out of Chicago, will debut its first release from new young talent Cirq'on titled the Other Side EP. On the A-Side, 'Screaming Around', makes its presence felt with a beefy bass line that periodically stacks and stutters throughout its progression. This track is impossible to resist. Even the most hardened scenester, the type of person who never dances in an effort to look cool, will be forced to cut a rug as they acquiesce to the bombardment of this pleasing beat. Peppered throughout with spooky vocals, tempestuous tones and mysterious snippets, it leads you down a path of rhythms that pushes past the point of no return. Similar to the first transmissions intentionally broadcast out into our universe for the purpose of contacting intelligent life, 'The Messenger' delivers on the B-side with layers of haunting harmonies that unfold over simple, satisfying drums. It's steadily driven by scintillating sounds in the form earthbased radio signals that rise and fall, as if bouncing off of orbiting space debris on their journey to the great unknown. This track is best described as a mind-exp.

Consistency and a diverse but functional aesthetic have kept Berlin based record label Vakant ahead of most imprints operating in the same space. Having released records since 2004 they have focused on working with only a select number of artists as they believe this is the only way to endure in a scene which is susceptible to trends, with Premiesku being part of the family as well as the likes of DeWalta and Avatism. Having already released a highly successful EP on the label in 2014, and more recently being a part of the labels latest anniversary compilation, 10 Years Vakant, the Romanian trio return with a driving four track EP. This EP features catchy melodies, vivid emotion and driving, floor-focussed percussion, which consists of three original tracks as well as the ever-dependable Varhat stepping up on remix duties. One of Frances most exciting exports, Varhat has already released a string of impressive records on labels such as Mulen and Howl. His interpretation of 'Cu Balans' brings a signature sound which portrays a lighter more bouncy feel to the track. Premiesku which consists of Livio & Roby and George G are a Romanian joint alias that have been releasing and performing together for over nine years. Their widespread influence on the flourishing underground scene is no secret, their innovative live performances, and constant flow of cutting edge productions remain one of their nation's leading lights in the field.

Efdemin & RNDM are back with a brandnew 12inch release featuring three enormous "Lost Tracks" dedicated to all the wonderful clubs around the world from Beijing to Buenos Aires.
Two solo tunes that perfectly draw the trademark sound of RNDM & Efdemin with a twist of weirdness plus one rare appearance of their collaboration project Pigon will make this fall sound like a hot dance under the full moon.

This new vinyl from Gynoid's sub-label Translucent is a strong dub techno EP from Kristian Heikkila featuring the lovely Petra Valej on moody vocals. Added are remixes from legendary Samuel L Session with a techy uplifting version, Advanced Human with a sharp, dubby techno version and to round off the release we also get a tooled up, instrumental dj edit. All sure ingredients that make this wax complete, dark and beautiful.

Lee Burton is the next artist on Raum Musik and this is his first single for our label. Lee is hailing from Greece and we were quite happy to receive some demo tracks of him, as he caught our attention already a while ago. His productions are more house related, but always with a nice, modern twist. His powerful sound and also his very well structured sound design could easily be described as his signature and it's definitely worth keeping an eye on him.

Tresor Records is proud to announce a new commission, bringing together two of its most time-honored contributors.
Berlin's Thomas Fehlmann and Detroit's Terrence Dixon came together in Detroit to produce this expressive album. An avant-premiere live performance of this album was presented at Tresor's annual Detroit showcase in May 2017.
Composed of six titles and exploring a wide range of rhythms and emotions, 'We Take It From Here' is a celebration of resilience, patience, creativity and devotion.

We are honoured to let Dilated Pupils bring us a great release on MAYAK. A-side "Remi's Phone" is a really deep spoken word techno track. "Shine Dub" on a B-side is probably the most rewarding dub-house track, that makes everyone smile on the dance floor, and that was tested thoroughly.

One of the most promising newcomers around and known from releases on Bedrock and Aeon, italian born Francys presents his first EP for OFF.

Now based in Berlin, and already hauling an impressive back catalogue, Francys delivers five tracks filled with dancefloor goodness.

Opening up with Elsewhere, a catchy melodic deep techno cut, the track creates a tense yet sustainable build up by the way of ambient-ridden synths.

Title track Komorebi exerts a similar feeling, craftly layering grave synths peppered with high pitched acid-like bits.

Fellow Berliner and BLKRTZ label boss Deadbeat is the muscle behind the remix, bringing his well known penchant for timeless techno to the game. The reputed sound designer manages to inject more groove, turning Komorebi' into a peak time
contender.

Pandora's Scream' rounds up the release, exposing a metallic ridden bassline, interspersed with eerie high pitched sounds.

Last up is The Monk', a dark and somber sonic exploration infused with mysterious,
chant-resembling vocal pieces that give the track a ghoulish atmosphere.

Martin Eyerer returns with the single release of probably the strongest track from his last album 'Struktur' featuring the vocals and bass from Berlin's celebrated band ABBY. With remixes from Chopstick & Johnjon (SUOL) and Ackerman this release looks like a biggie!

Following on the heels of last year's "Circuit EP", which got support from the likes of Scuba, Matthew Dear and 2000 And One, Andre Crom starts into 2017 with "Short Circuit", another offering of stripped back and highly functional dj-tools.

The title track's energetic drums are inspired by it's predecessor, but "Short Circuit" ditches "Circuit"'s vocal in favor of a mental industrial percussion-lead.

Impedance takes things towards a more stripped back and minimalistic route, the "randomly" syncopated drum patterns giving the track an ever-evolving feel.

Tallmen 785, a new member of the OFF-family and known from releases on Hotflush, Fiedel and his own "Tallmen Records", delivers a trippy and hypnotic underground remix.

Russian vinyl label Spaghetti Monster launches vinyl only VA compilations called Spaghetti tools. So please meet the first part with a brightest label artists on board. U can choose according to your taste or dance floor mood a more techy and dark A side with a fantastic bomb from Ukranian based label resident Stas Drive called Supernature and the uprising swiss techno star Pablo Einzig with his watch me fly. Otherwise U can turn a 12» to a B-side with more slightly and house sound from Leao who rocked a label before with his Robot Needs Oil project and now get back with more underground sound. Here also comes label fav guy Boronas with a truly outstanding story called U keep Me high Hamburg dedicated to his German relocation and blowing with this one the dancfloors in an early morning. 200 copies. Dapayk Solo, Berlin based producer and veteran of the minimal techno scene, announces the release of his 10th studio album 'The Calling'. This latest project will be the producer's first solo album since
2015. The 8-track double 12inch LP will be available via Dapayk Solo's label Mo's Ferry Productions and comes with a free download voucher for the extended 12-track digital album.

The first track on this LP 'The Calling' shares its name with the album and starts off with a pang of energetic, chopped beats before exploding into a brassy melody, continuously gaining momentum.
'Blackout' immediately announces itself as a next generation Detroit House anthem. The rolling synths, hi hats, and vocals make this one of the most outstanding tracks on the album. 'Aurora' stays true to its name with a buildup composed of throbbing ethereal synths that give the track an otherworldly vibe. 'Flood' transports listeners to the dancefloor with its pulsating bassline combined with Komplement's quaint vocals.

The second part of the album begins with 'After All', one of the most enticing tracks on the album. It combines the groovy rhythm of four to the floor percussion with tantalizing vocals by VARS before New Release Information 'Low Tinnitus' reverts to Dapayk's signature minimalist sound. The transition into 'Wanderer' continues the momentum built up by the previous tracks. The closing 'Walk With Me' is a deep-house jam that features a rhythmic shaker layered under Mental Bend's powerful vocals.
Dapayk Solo, alias Niklas Worgt, isn't afraid to try new things. With 5 aliases under his belt, he continuously strives to experiment with different styles and production techniques to create innovative sounds. Throughout the span of two decades he went from producing drum'n'bass to house to ultimately crafting the groovy, edgy techno sound that he's now known for.

With more than ten LP releases and over 70 single releases on his record, he is one of the main protagonists in the world of underground electronic music. In 2017, he released an LP titled 'Harbour' with his wife Eva Padberg under one of his many projects, Dapayk & Padberg. While that album aimed to steer away from traditional club beats, 'The Calling' sees Dapayk reassume his deep, dark, and infectious sound. While Dapayk is often categorized as a minimal producer, the LP proves that he is capable of extending beyond the scope of a single genre. 'The Calling' is just another example of why Dapayk has managed to stay in the scene for so long: he loves electronic music and he's great at
making it, too.

''Noir Jungle Part II'' finds the Italian producers 'Cardace & Perazzini' once again demonstrating originals and exciting modes of expression, not to mention the extraordinary level of detail in their music. It rounds the project off, with yet more unpredictable diversions of their immersive sound design to paint a vivid and unique landscape at its most dynamic framework. 'Swinging Plans' places the drums at the forefront of the mix, using incredible layers of brushed, rolling an expressive live recordings to create a truly thrilling experience that speaks to the deepest human instinct for rhythmic sound. 'Internal N.5', intensify the Techno-influenced energy as it races ahead on a tightly wound rhythm, adding a rich array of sounds into the mix to create a focused and detailed trip loaded with cinematic tension. 'George Is There', takes rich chords running through delay and reverb while maintaining a pronounced house groove with perfect and subtle touches of jazz into the track, invigorating sonic experience aimed at both, the mind and the dancefloor. 'Below the Earth', This is a perfect example of Cardace & Perazzini's exercise of restraint, keeping the mood simmering while still displaying their love for ear-snagging samples in between the folds of the track. 'Really Low Mind' sets a thrilling tone straight away with a rolling drum beat taking the lead and subtle tonal sweeps filling in the space around. It's a testament of skills when sequencing drums, not least when it peaks after a tantalizing breakdown. 'Night Train' sits easy on the ears but there is a deep level of production at work that reveals itself as the heavily processed samples of instrumentation starts to unfurl halfway through the track.

Mathew Jonson's 'Decompression' was first released on Minus in 2004. To celebrate 13 years since it's release Mathew has commissioned 11 artists to remix this classic split over 4 releases. The first EP of the series features remixes from dBridge, Konrad Black and Nathan Jonson, each artists contribution provides a fresh approach to a package fuelled by the influence of Drum & Bass. dBridge steps up for two remixes, the first is warped and deconstructed, the second a high energy Drum & Bass belter. Konrad Black slows things down with a darker groove whilst Nathan Jonson's 'rewind to 96' utilises rave tropes and chopped vocal samples. The package is a magnificent addition to the legacy of 'Decompression' and coming next will be remixes from Seth Troxler, Deadbeat, Mike Shannon and Natalia Escobar. Mathew Jonson's 'Decompression' was first released on Minus in 2004. This is the first release on Mathew Jonson's new label entitled 'Freedom Engine' Mastered at Scape Mastering

lvin Toffler was overwhelmed. When in the morning of October 4th, 1988-it was his 60th birthday-he was starring with a still somewhat absent look into a bowl of cornflakes, he thought that in the surface structure of the yellowish shimmering milk which was making an emulsion with the maple syrup and slowly but irreversibly corroding the crunchy crystals on the flakes, he could see through a window into a timeless dimension. Toffler, who at that time had reached the peak of his fames as a future scientist, was sustainably disturbed from his peek into this extra temporary peephole. In none of his books-'Future Shock' had just been released with yet another edition featuring a proud printed note on the book cover stating 'more than 5 million copies in print'-did he ever mention this occurrence. Even after his death in June 2016, no note on this incident could ever be found in his estate. The 'flake dimension' as Toffler called it in notes which were later shredded remains a secret of opaque, hard-to-grasp radiant power.

Maybe it's too simple to describe 'Pneumatics' as a creation coming from this cornflake world Without doubt. Are there any more precise terms or instruments to determine the multifacetedness and beyond-timeliness of the 'Pneumatics' soundscape There are still unknown. 'Pneumatics' is, after releases at Innervisions, Die Orakel und his own label Sound Mirror, the debut album of Orson Wells (as long as you don't count in 'Jupiter' - Wells's first LP which was released in 2014 with 48 copies on cassette-have fun digging for rarities and bargains!).
Perhaps Wells, known in Frankfurt under his real name Lennard Poschmann and as an employee at the record store Tactile, is only a messenger. Or a psychic. The sound manifesto that he apparently transmits from Toffler's secret dimension tells of a city of upside down pyramids ('Tianon'), of passes into the land of the five elements ('Multipass') and dead straight four-to-the-floor lines which appear bended within the spherical dimension (''Geodesic'). These beats are right on the heels of the ones of Intersteller Fugitives; the strings sound like that at any moment a vocal sample edited by Moodyman could warp over through the Cornflake wormhole. Pneumatics is the science of all technological applications powered by condensed and often by quite heated air. It is a matter of mechanics, compression, jackhammer, ramblings, high pressure levels, valves for blowing of steam. On 'Pneumatics' it's all about this. And more. Orson Wells's album gets to the point of the post-retro futuristic state of the dancefloors of the house and techno clubs of this planet. It is like a peek into another dimension, right on the golden cut of spacetime geometry.

Looking back at the imprint's catalog one would expect Pluie/Noir's 9th release to be in the same organic tones as previous outputs, but "Pambore" is anything but
predictable: Atree's debut on Pluie/Noir is a homage to drum-machines and analog synthesizers and a welcome breath of fresh air to the imprint's evergrowing music catalog.
With a true 'no bullshit' attitude, the Stuttgarter (soon-to-be-Berliner) Oliver put together 8 dancefloor-oriented tracks that bend the boundaries between micro-house and acid-techno while always keeping things swingy and surprising, full of bleepy sounds and playful synth melodies. Oliver's music is without a doubt very light-hearted, with a endearing aura that is usually reminicent of producers living closer to the Mediterranean sea. Pambore' is a showcase of exactly that: a hefty
but light-hearted double-EP that presents eight variations of his sincopated, and ultimately funky drum programming, bouncy basslines, tumbling synth leads and functional story-telling.
This homage to machine music brings on board the Portuguese graphic wizard Nuno Patrício to visually interpret the EP, keeping with the imprint's usual audio-visual
