After successful compilation series Prime Cuts we are excited to bring you a new selection of the finest house and deep house music. As the name implies VA After Hours is focused on music you would like to hear in a night club from around 5 am onwards - deep, twisted, groovy and housey at the same time. We are honoured to be working with some of the hottest artist such as Pezzner, Alland Byallo, Karol XVII, MB Valence, The Timewriter, Shades Of Gray and Murat Kilic on this new concept.

Cynosure starts off 2011 with a killer collaboration project of label head Mike Shannon and one of Berlin's hottest young producers David DeWalta. DeWalta has been recording for years for the likes of Vakant and Meander records.

Los Angeles resident Jimmy Tamborello (The Postal Service, James Figurine) drops After Parties 1 & After Parties 2, a pair of new, companion EPs. 5 new tracks which are a bit more minimalist & experimental in nature, all of them instrumental.

A1: Attias - 'Blue Note'
Long synth notes and an upbeat percussive base work well on this laid back track. Nice, mellow bassline gives that extra something, great track!!

A2: Simon Weiss - 'Dance City Central'
Upbeat, straight house beat with a jazzy piano riff, cool feel on this one.

B1: Aldo Kapone - 'Just Dance'
Cool beat, with a deep/tech house vibe. Mellow, slow attacking synths really add to the groove. Killer!

B2: Maurice - 'Still'
Delayed synth stabs echo into the atmosphere of the track, a cool deep house feel with lots of space and groove.

This Time we invited Mr. Good Groove(Frisbee/Multicolor) in collaboration with Ronald Christoph(Lebensfreude/Paradigma).
The guys produced a nice stompin house groover called "Love Music" with some very hot vocals from the one and only Tyree Cooper.
On the flip Martin Woerner delivers a techno-flavoured edit of the track wich will work at the dancefloors for sure.

Due to some research & effort we took during the past months for handling Weave Music's little sister-label, International Freakshow's more and more growing reputation and success, it was a bit quiet in the Weave-Lab. AA: Out of Platos Cave - Surrounded By The Sun - Bruns Submariner Mix (Greta Cottage Workshop Side) - Worked and reworked by Brun this remix began life in august 2009. Brun asked for the vocals to be re-recorded to his rough mix of the original. Super deep in the territory of Villalobos, a late night early morning loved up tune! Out of Platos Cave - Torquay based duo, from the studio of Aural Imbalance.
