In dance music 4 to the floor is the Word. The forth release of Goodvibe Records is made of 4 tracks. 2 originals from Leonardo Gonnelli, a young Italian producer, with a smooth instinct for floor fillers and 2 remixes from Hugo and Sammy, the stunning residents of Goodvibe Records.

Throughout his leagues of vital releases and endless stream of DJ dates, his focus always steered clear of sensationalized press angles, or ranking up the charts; he chose to instead keep his head down and his passions high.

PSQ005 is Furesshu's follow up 12 inch release to last year's trio of tracks (PSQ002) that garnered attention from Ben Klock, Sigha and Marcel Dettmann, who continues to play out his music regularly. Furesshu's bleak and powerful remix of L-OW (PSQ003) has been criminally under appreciated, and now his second 12 inch on Project Squared (PSQ005) will showcase a more House influenced, but still Techno at its core, sound with 'Lucid' and 'All I Want'. Both tunes work around short vocal snippets, employing them to melodic, repetitive effect within a sparse but subtly evolving soundstage. Providing a remix of 'Lucid', Shifted converts the House tinged original into straight up, heavy hitting Techno, with relentless kick drum, melodic stabs and the occasional clap. Shifted has made a big impact with his debut 12~ on Mote Evolver and he has a stack of 12s lined up for 2011 on some very solid labels. Similarly, with a forthcoming release on the new Commune label in early 2011 and more to follow, this is going to be a big year for Furesshu.

Argentinean born artist Alejandro L. Ross aka Rudolf aka Perro Magnetico is a pioneer in the Mean Records family. With highly rated releases on Archipel and Nervmusic, he now shows us his fourth EP on Mean, encasing us in his signature elements of quirky yet groove led beats we are so confident to hear and delighted by from this artist.

"Troubles" is a funky techno ballad with a dark voice, "more troubles" is the dark side of Sid le Rock, minimal sounds and spacing effects lead us to a new planet. Jan Driver's infamous imprint Grand Patrol and Heckmann's outpost AFU Limited collaborate to bring you three murder funky and fat tunes by the mixmaster Jan Driver ! is a more than great dancefloor bomb with it's Tech-House flavoured fat beats and big mean bassline and bleeps ! This one also gets a remix treatment by none other than Mr. Harry Axt (aka Daniel Steinberg, ...) who was shaking and rattling the Japanese with it on his recent tour ! They were going nuts !!!
Followed by a nice and sweet Techno-House finish with the track !
This is funky and badass as hell and will rock the clubs worldwide for sure !
