Alli Borem, DJ Kool Dek , Macromism and last but not least M.in.
This is the perfect formula to launch our most innovative project for 2012. Root50 is born from an old time friendship between Alli Borem and Nick Olivetti which translated lately into a great partnership for one of the most awaited upcoming label of 2012.
The first release is "Industry" perfect mainroom track for your summer sets,  made of well crafted old-skool sounds by Alli.

The first remix is from DJ Kool Dek, already well known for his releases on Saved and Be As One.
He deliver a super tool dub , very elegant and well polished this track is a gurateed roof raiser.

On the other side there is M.in which is supporting the EP with an engaging and much more eclectic remix, back to the much more organic sounds keeping the mood up with very cool electronic modulated sounds.

We couldn't leave Macromism out for our first release, this Italian duo already impressed us in 2012 with great releases on the best labels out there. They rearranged Industry in a new version with a massive groove and at the same time structuring it in a very classy way.

Klara Lewis' debut release presents an electronically charged reconstruction of organic sound matter. 10 tracks featuring a wide variety of sonic material which is subjected to Lewis' unique approach to the sonic landscape. Field recordings, small sounds, samples, ambient pot holes, repetition, and giddy disorientation are all tactics deployed by Lewis

A symbiosis of two perfectionists who would like to surprise with something new and got lost in the deep widenesses of techno. Now, Zdenko Grbavac and Morgenklang let it come true and release their first record in common. The two tracks are technoid, impulsive and surprising at the same time. "Epos" comes out on top at the middle distinctivly. The track's baseline is remindful of the early 80's synthi pop and sounds in combination with the remaining parts like an unstoppable train. The track "Novum" is a monster of chord and pushes relentlessly. However the athmosphere creates a certain easiness and moves the audience in a dreamy state.

Perc And Pig And Dan pick up techno where Samuel L.Session left it, only to make it even heavier with two amazing remixes of ''Four To The Floor'' - Perc's remix is a ''Radio Slave meets Chris Liebing'' moment of relentless techno, all about reverbs and echoes. This is another one of those tracks with a lot of small elements evolving slowly and becoming at some point so intertwined that anyone would just get lost in it. A mechanical beat made out of some distorted banging sound vaguely evocative of a drum that just goes as deep as techno goes, only to be somewhat softened by the subtle atmospheric waves from the original track that kind of drifted into the remix. A brilliant track, of a new purist kind.
As soon as this DJ-friendly track starts the tight production skills of the Spanish duo Pig And Dan can be recognized. It wanders into the realm of underwater funk and features a wobbling bass coupled with an almost gentle feeling, a peculiar aspect for a track that can undoubtedly be classified as a banger. A robotic rhythm is slowly unveiled in a very clever yet classic framework, with a long breakdown paving the way for an even bouncier beat. A nigh time slammer.

The unstoppable Felix Bernhardt returns to AFULAB with his first vocal performance on the track Cllub Junk ! Sung in German with an ironic background and sure to touch the youngsters in the German underground scene. Somehow a persiflage to one track that was annoying the clubs in the recent year ;-) Backed by Soo Normal , which is pure Felix style at his best.
The flip-side shows some new approaches into the darker and deeper Techno world with Try This At Night and Fuck Out. Two Techno diamonds to bang the floors !

May 2012 sees the 8th release on KRD, picking right up where the label was at with its last release a year ago. 'Bilal / Spider' introduces the new project 'On Land", a solo vehicle for label head Edoardo Arengi, who previously was in charge of production duties of the Shadow Sync releases. The title cut 'Bilal' again attests to Edoardo's technicall skills - almost twenty years of production experience do indeed show here. A strong minimalistic groove unerringly aims at the heart of the dance floor, and once the classic ride cymbal comes in, 'Bilal' is sure to have the people moving. For the flip, label owner and producer Edoardo Arengi teams up with a young gun of Berlin's Techno scene. 'Spider", produced together with Rudmatis, to his DJ-peers known as Rødhåd of the Dytopian Music collective, goes for the darker end of the floor with a hypnotic bassline and slowly modulated sequencer lines. Once you are caught in the net, there is no way out!

Kiddaz073, delivered by Pierre Deutschmann, head of k:lender and halftime A&R at Kiddaz Musicgroup, is nothing else then a straight groovin Technorecord. VENT is a newly formed Berlin based vinyl only label, built upon the love of raw and unpretentious techno. With a widespread group of artists under its wings, VENT is taking the same thoughts from different people in different parts of the world and thus gathering the cognates of a contemporary techno vision.

The first release is from Arbiter, which is a new moniker from Ingemar Stalholm. Arbiter sets out to catch the mood of long northern nights and the smile of underground party revelers, by combining his curiously personal sense of harmony with clockwork percussion and a moderate touch of grit and distortion. Gothiscandza is the name of what old Roman explorers theorised was the northern city from which the yeats was stemming from, thus the heart of Scandinavia. Arbiter's EP is the journey to there.

Night Transporter is an aerodynamic toolesque thing, painting a picture of dust and graffiti lined city streets. Over a relentless rattling beat a flickering reel projects traces of afterglow. The track is gritty like an industrial district, but full of hidden pockets that people can find freedom and sanctuary in.

Drown is inebriated and frank, with darkness around the edges of vision. It's a rude poetry, laden with crude percussion, unhaltingly and with an overwhelming melody. It helps you shrink your world in that pleasant way a dancefloor does.

Nomad is an ode to unceasing movement and inner chest momentum. A massive kick drum thunders forward while a caustic acid line spins like a compass needle next to a magnet. Nomad is the largest track in the pack, another techno beast bred in the forests of the North.

Finishing track Gigsponk is performed behind heavy eyelids with acid trace remnants and flashbacks of self-confidence. Sultry bass and eager drums make for a rhythmic climax in this peculiar world view. A pagan kiss of parting, but at the same time a promise of new encounters.
