Lee Gamble is a UK-based artist and electronic music producer with roots in the original jungle-techno and extreme computer music fields. In 2012 he released a couple of highly acclaimed records via PAN, 'Dutch Tvashar Plumes' and 'Diversions 1994-1996', that refracted dancefloor and home-listening dimensions into trippy new head-spaces which touched a raw nerve with ravers young and old(er). He's since expanded those records into live audio-visual performance with fellow CYRK collective founder Dave Gaskarth and continues monthly broad- casts of his NTS radio show.The 'Kuang' EP heralds the release of Gamble's keenly awaited 2nd LP 'KOCH' (due September '14) with three tracks of dissociative ambient/techno. 'Kali Wave' opens with a bittersweet breakbeat roller sounding something like early AGCG playing in a hall of mirrors, whereas 'Mimas Skank' diffuses oily acid and dry dub techno inna dancefloor wormhole, and the detached ambient drift of 'Girl Drop' rends a gasp of post-rave bliss into twelve minutes of spectral sublime or precipitous dread, depending on your perspective.

Oh so fresh 12' from the Studio Barnhus camp - music by Baba Stiltz, artwork by Theodor Johansson. Transit is Mr. Stiltz on a night train, angelic voices and smooth tape hiss leading the stuttering acid sounds forward. Principles lets a canonical synth theme pave the way for a happy-gojackin' campfire beat that just won't stop. Baba even threw in a little bonus ditty for all you freaks out there! Watch out for a Baba Stilz long player dropping on Studio Barnhus later this year. Watch out for Baba!

Lawrence la Doux with a new release that explores dance music possibilities further.
Four house- and techno-inspired dancefloor tracks from Lawrence La Doux, a Brussels producer who has released under various aliases over the years.  Keywords here are Sun, Acid, Mellow, Kick, Distortion, Bounce.

Over the years the man now known as Lawrence La Doux has assumed a variety of artistic monikers - Sun OK Papi KO, Jacuzzi Notebook, rbdx - and been a part of various bands - The Fan Club Orchestra, Mouche Man, Baleine 3000. As La Doux he first emerged a few years back, as Sun Papa & Lawrence Le Doux, with a sound that moulds club tropes like so much plastic material. What you thought you knew wasn't quite what you thought you were getting. A bit like the man himself, his sound isn't what it necessarily first appears to be.

He returns in 2014 with Terrestre, a four-track 12" EP for Vlek that further explores dance music possibilities from the comfort of anonymity, shaping styles until the distortion he forces upon them passes from the uncomfortable to the pleasant.

Saved's latest offering is a collaboration between label boss Nic Fanciulli and the legendary Josh Wink. Originally released back in the nineties the record has been re-done for a fresh 2012 remix. This has been bubbling under for a long time and has been massive for both
the artists in their sets and now it gets a full release on Saved.

Mark Fell and Mat Steel's second EP as SND arrived a year after their debut 'Tplay' and continued to explore a distinct, highly individual take on electronic Minimalism, House and UK Garage stripped to its bare bones. The tracks here more or less split themselves into three distinct categories: the first detailing the
brilliant swing and shuffle of their reduced UKG mutations, with '22' in particular perfecting the balance between academic reduction and kinetic, feminine motion. The second outlines a more linear approach utilising reduced House and Techno templates, while the last includes more experimental works such as the proper fwwd bass-pulse arrangements on the previously unheard B2 and the frequency fxxckery of closing track D3.
With the original DAT tapes remastered and cut by Rashad Becker, this series is a real treat to followers of SND and Mark Fell, and an essential eye-opener for anyone unfamiliar with this
incredible early material.

With the strains of Re-UP's "Freedom" still ringing loud in our ears, Dissonant prepare to
unleash their first slice of summer goodness, a new two track selection from Leix.
The Valencia born, Barcelona resident has been exciting dancefloors of his home nation for
the past fifteen years, regularly sharing the decks with the worlds leading spinners. With a
preoccupation with fusing styles and sounds, a trait that is obvious in his own productions,
Leix ensures that his own work remains consistently fresh. The Novo Music boss' own
productions have already found the support of many of the biggest names in the industry and
have seen their release on labels including Fumakilla, Monza, Barraca Music, Inmotion
Music, Melisma and more.
His Akane EP is Leix's first excursion on Dissonant and what a way to kick things off. Lead
cut "Akane" is as perfect a fit as they come. A locked tight groove, devilish kick and a
bubbling acid line that tricks us throughout with its undeviating trajectory. On the Flip
"Dumnezeu" continues in similar fashion. An understated bassline pulses throughout, as a
snare rasps and hats glisten a spoken vocal preaches. The gospel of the dancefloor.

'GRASSWAXX RECORDINGS,' a leading label in Japan's underground music scene, is releasing the label's host, RAWFILA's original track "gravity" and "debris" on side A. On side B, are the best sound quality Techno remix's by a
track maker, 'A.MOCHI', who is now praised by world class top DJ's, and is famous for his releases from LEN FAKI's label, "Figure."

Side A by RAWFILA is consisted of, "gravity," a dope minimal track, from a combination of soft noise and hypno parts, with a stoic roaring beat that accelerates with a metallic dub effect, and "debris," an Industrial Techno track with an edged dope synth. Side B with "A.MOCHI's" remix of "gravity," a masterpiece of dangerous deep dub techno, is created with his trademark of uncompromising bass and heavy percussion. The dubby bass creates a psychedelic, three dimensional sound image you will never forget.

THE MIGHTY BAYER TEAMS UP WITH ALEXI DELANO FOR A DOUBLE HEADER TURN LOOSE / LOOSE TURN

Rrose, Vatican Shadow, Recondite and nsi. remixes!!!

After Function's epic debut album "Incubation" had several months to breathe, Ostgut Ton issues four remixes by Function contemporaries Rrose, Vatican Shadow, Recondite and NSI. Spread over 4 sides of vinyl they paint a picture rich in texture and atmospheres fitting it's origin. Like the album, the remixes transcend club concepts of electronic music and techno as they unravel in surrounding territories.

After initial releases on Sandwell District the darkly mysterious Rrose seems a natural choice for this EP and Rrose reveals a deep and instinctive understanding of Function's sound world. The remix of "Against The Wall" picks up the hypnotic acid of the original and spins it into manic depths, relentless and powerful.
Vatican Shadow hones in on the fragile beauty present in the original "Psychic Warfare". Like a different side of the same coin, the track portrays a far away view of the original, where memory enhances the warmth and the contrast between tension and ease in Function's original.

German producer Recondite has been going from strength to strength in recent months and his remix of "Incubation (Ritual)" confirms this status, seemingly understated, his remix achieves a stunning grip with minimal texture, killer synth line and bass, effortlessly solid.
The last remix comes from artist pairing NSI. Max Loderbauer and Tobias Freund share between them the huge experience of half a life time in music and sound engineering and Freund also mixed the "Incubation" album. For their remix they tap into Function's early music influences and layer elements of pioneering German electronic experimentation with ambient and psychedelic sensitivity, creating a dark, brooding version of "Inter", that seems to close the circle between the then and now in living electronic music.

After the introduction of 'The African Awakening' as dub version on our 'Brazil Not Brazil 2014 release it's now time to lift the secret entirely. With dj/producer Larry Cadge from London Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold are very happy to add a new member to the Kling Klong family, who's 'Vicious Circle' was one of the big tunes this spring. Instead of releasing on his on label Smiley Fingers he decided to do it the Kling Klong way with Belgian homie Hermanez on the remix duty!
