Superb mental tribe digger... Molecule Prod did just a superb openner, just like Axelbud Vs FKS did on the start of the B-side, with a little Trance VS Tribe effect. Last track, by Puch-K is a classic acidcore style, boosted by a dry unconfortable kick and woufa effects in the veine of JMF. A good melt... A2 from Smeo is a bit different with a more hardcore, or hangar ambiance reminding the Things To Come... in a Tribe way maybe:) Specially with those vocals in the tunes... A very good record !

The 01 from the label is already very hard to find and this second opus will be a master pice as well... Trankorr open this EP with a solid kicker, very in the Obscur style... Second track brings a leading acid and brings a real impression of acceleration. B side opens with Wazig and a superb broken acid track turning 4/4 after the break in a Raving acid sound. Last track is a good classic acid hard techno track, melting the modern hard kick to the Acid ESP kind of waves.

Laid down with authority by L/F/D/M are four no nonsense cuts blasting fresh air into that perennially en vogue phenomenon known as acid house. After stunning EPs for Glasgow's prestigious Optimo Trax and Clandestine Traxx, an equally crushing full-length for Kompakt's Ecstatic imprint, and two brain melting EPs for Diagonal with Factory Floor's Dominic Butler as Bronze Teeth, it is an honor to have his sounds grace CGI with a release that sees him playing right for the heart of the dance floor. Opener "Spare Ribs, No Napkin" is meaty and greasy with abandon, as rude and distorted as it is irresistibly syncopated. "Cutting Fingers" contrasts with a slow burn with a deep kick anchoring shifting rhythms and unsettlingly hypnotic riffs. Flip this treasure over and get pummeled by the rolling stomp of "Heavy Clouds' with its massive 808s and just-off-the-nose acid cycles. Closing things out is the bright paranoid jack of ' ippos In Slumber" with its muted chords adding freaky color to steady and heady 707/303 workout that charms and overpowers with an electric stink that lingers long after the needle has reached the lead-out groove.

It's Not Fuckin Hardstyle... It's Techno

Another great HardAcid rediscovery originally pressed back in 1993! Two tracks are to be found on this orange 12' with a special 8' cut which are taking Acid to the most banging, uncompromising level one can ever think of. Heavy, distorted and fast-paced electronic sounds which are also about to please Hardcore lovers and Tribe Tekno headz to the max. Music for the headstrong.

In this E.P, Phobos (fear), every artist expresses his most disturbing consciousness, giving us an awesome dose of techno without scruples or contemplations. It is a sensitive group project which is drawn directly into our subconscious. The track Phobos speaks from strong foundations and dark shades that put soundtrack to Water Rojas hallucinations (Rojas is the illustrator of this E.P.). In Erratic Chaos, the composer takes us amid the wrong road map of disorder. Phobonica is the end of a tortured mind which transmutes its inner voices in dark melodies, snares and drums. At last, Acid panic is a dark acid track built from the fear which follows a tension line made with abstract melodies.

After a hiatus from the releasing scene, Highlive is back with a dark and clubby new three track emission; - You EP'. The compelling title track, a lightly tribalsitic and clear structured sound conception, calls you to the dance floor. A fantastic call out hook when it clocks midnight. *Christian Burkhardt* slightly re-enforces the tribal feel and adds a seductively obscure bass line to the initial sound composition. Both, the original and remix, version of the title track - You' are frisky, fresh and tomboyish in their own special way. Created in liaison with *Zustra* - Last Night' is a bitchy and deeply nasty club air. This composition keeps you stuck between the beginning and the end without ever a chance of escape. Not too mean nor too nice is what generates the addicitive pretention - Last Night' clearly fulfills.

Up and coming Belgium-born activist Philippe Petit, operator of the Knotweed and Decision Making Theory labels, returns to Figure SPC with a delightfully versatile four tracker. Spanning cold-wavesynth electronics, purist club techno and up-building melodic zones, its perhaps Petits strongest effort yet. Capturing a neo-classical, archaic mood in >Mist Solaris Negative Zone Suspended< closes the EP with a joyful, above the clouds journey, lifting up weightlessly into the ether.

Swedish doomed out techno with a firm EBM influence. Sequenced basslines, lots of 16th note drums and some dark sounds from this debuting Stockholm producer!

Born in Rome at the end of 80's, Stefano Rocchi grows up
listening music with the influence of his brother, Riccardo
Rocchi (DJ too in the 90's and now Professional Guitarist).
He starts working on music like a game, beatboxing' with his
friend Sirio Gry J.

His studies in Mats leads him to learn more and more in
Sound Design and Hardware structures, as sound
engineering.

His music culture through Techno, Detroit style, Chicago
House, as well as Minimal rhythm and Rock atmosphere
guided him into this Contrasto Ep.

Recently back from a season in Spain, he had the possibility to create releases on Love Blast,
Ephedrina, Stato Elettrico and Stencil Recordings. He played in clubs like Rashomon, Circolo deli
Illuminati, Magazzino33, Muzak, Bilbliotechina, Trecentosessantagradi and Animal Social Club in Rome,
plus Russian Bar (London) and Macarena Club (Barcelona). Actually he is going to grow up in the
European scene both for the production and performance areas. He also has recently joined Black Sam
Records family, and pressed his first vinyl on Love Blast, "Contatto".

Super Rhythm Trax is back this time with Italian producer G-23 (Secret Rave) who delivers 2 monstrous slabs of Mongrel Acid music. "Kidding Kids" is an ultra fresh beast of a track that sits comfortably outside classification, melding Acid with a super heavy breakbeat and peppered with UK Garage references.
"Mountain's Acid" goes for a straight up 4/4 Acid track with a deep bubbling Acid line that hooks you early and keeps you locked throughout, while on the B side label boss Jerome Hill is on remix duties turning in a tweaky, tracky Acid version of Mountain's Acid with heavy bottom end and funked up drums.

Perc Trax is proud to announce the first full solo EP from Truss since 2012. 'Kymin Lea' launches a series of EPs this year on Perc Trax where each artist will present their complete sonic and visual vision of their music.

Each EP will see the artist work closely with Perc Trax's resident designer Jonny Costello to create a visual identity for their release that perfectly matches their music. A step away from easy and repetitive label branding, every EP will look different, sound different and give the greatest insight into each producer's artistic outlook so far.

Across these three tracks Truss moves from sweeping melodic experiments to a new deeper take on his trademark acid sound. Title track 'Kymin Lea' has already been previewed on Surgeon's Rinse FM show and has been in demand since, whilst B-side cuts 'Clawdd Du' and 'Wyefield' push the Truss sound outwards into new territory.

Markus Suckut is a name that needs no introduction in the Techno scene having estabilished himself as one of the main players of the new breed of Techno artists coming out of Germany with releases on Cocoon, Figure, Mosaic,NON Series and more.
