ALLEY VERSION presents the third installment of the series ‘Tracks From The Alley’, a V.A. 4-tracker compilation, kicking off with a new track by the Japanese machines wizard Takeshi Kouzuki, ‘PaganParadise’, where Chicago style acidelic beats meets immersive gloomy pads and tiny dripping melodies.

The Italian duo FLML complete the A side with ‘Analog Jerky Thing’, a tape recorded jam driven by a hypnotic proto-acid style touching bassline.

Greek cult producer DimDj open the B side with the intricate ‘Apo Pou Eisai’, a track made of rarefied jack-beats into dub echoes, mutating in acid attacks.

Closes the e.p. Chris Mitchell, U.S. based producer-DJ and label boss of Feral Colony, with ‘Tru1’, a raw impact complex textured acid-techno track.

The third release from Exalt Records Fallen Entertainers series is by an artist so hot right now, it's ridiculous. Having has recent releases on some of the hottest electronic music labels on the planet, this producer is certainly having 'a moment'. Electro superstar Sound Synthesis submits an incredible remix to complete the package.

2023 Repress

Two years ago Credit 00 was lucky enough to find a flat with a winter garden in the midst of the city's concrete vastness. Setting up his studio there, surrounded by plants, facing the backyard oasis with its trees, bushes and birds singing all day was quite the opposite of his usual work environment. The contrast of being in nature whilst surrounded by an urban neighbourhood is explored on Credit 00's latest outing on Uncanny Valley. Two different settings represented on either side of the vinyl record. The street side of the building is Credit 00's typical habitat: rough drums, face melting acid and ghetto style track arrangement. R U READY 2 JACK pays tribute to Belgium New Beat and wants to sound like Hardcore that is coming from the heart. TRUE 2 THE GEHM is an ode to one of the true German Acid innovators, Andreas Gehm (R.I.P.), originally written in 2016 for a compilation, which raised money to help him cover expenses incurred due to his severe health issues. The backyard side reveals the influence of flora and fauna on Credit 00's work. On both THE GARDEN and DEEP IN THE JUNGLE, you can hear his synthetic interpretation of mother nature's repertoire. Birds chirping, acid frogs croaking and the wind blowing through the trees to the sound of jungle drums. Despite all the differences between the concrete and the green jungle, there are also a lot of similarities. As the artwork (hand-drawn by Credit 00 himself) illustrates, graffiti spreads all over buildings like wild vine grows on rocks: chaos reigns everywhere, whether in natural or man-made environments!

The hybridised nature of modern dub-rooted club music continues to define Delsin's Mantis series continues to platform hybridised variations on modernist soundsystem music with the arrival of RVSHES, the production partnership from Logos (James Parker) and DB1 (Dylan Brownsword). On Mantis 12 they their precision-tooled drum pressure is being applied to six exacting studies in rig-ready rhythm and repetition. There's a spartan, cyclical nature to the work they carry out, setting up a sturdy beat set to non-standard timings and teasing it out over an extended run time, but they also exercise a keen sense of infinitesimal progression, edging their tracks past DJ tool territory into a more captivating headspace. Maintaining the immersive atmospherics of the Mantis series to date, theirs is a sharply focused sound which sits at the intersection of tough minimal techno and polyrhythmic broken beat, positively geared towards DJs favouring inventive building blocks in their sets.

4TRK-029 sees label head Dj Hyperactive team up with Jason Patrick for the Inflexion EP. The release kicks off with, “Shadows Of The Underground” a stripped down acid Techno track that builds in a mutating fashion with it’s 808 cymbals, filtering shakers, and pitch bent synth stabs Mississippi Mud Hound gets underway with a growling bassline that morphs throughout alongside additional synth elements and percussion bits. On side b, “Harrier Env” provides a jacking feel that manages to also have stutter step bass groove in conjunction with 909 percussion, a spacey drone, and a mysterious melody. Closing out the release is “Bandaid On A Bullet Wound” an atmospheric stripped down track with powerful bass, sci-fi bleeps, and a lead synth riff that pushes and pulls in intensity throughout the track.

Kajunga is proud to release unheard material from the wise and honorable Heckadecimal. “Critters” is a collection of 5 unique hardware built tracks that scurry from moody and contemplative to charged and frantic.

“Bat Silk Stunt” starts the record off with resonant acid bass lines creeping through a rich forest of analog drums. “D’etre” shifts the tone into a pool of moody progressions, dissonant sequences, and syncopated grooves. Living up to it’s namesake, “Acid Tenders” provides an exciting exploration of unbridled 303 energy. “Digital Foam” picks up the pace with frantic and squiggly textures that skitter about as a deranged synth-line takes command. “The Luminous Flesh of Giants” rounds out the journey with a 4/4 crawl through wistful melodies and iridescent chords.



Heckadecimal has been a fixture of the Minneapolis DIY electronic music scene since Time Untold, or around the turn of the century. He’s been an unwavering force and advocate for sonic experimentation, known for his energetic live sets of pure machine fun, from bouncy electro to breaky techno and acidic wiggles galore.

Heckadecimal has released on Great Circles, Electric Music Foundation, and his own label, Always Human Tapes, co-run with Ryan Wurst and TML. Collection V1 marks FIT SOUND's first compilation, showcasing tracks from renowned artists Jared Wilson, Bizz O.D., and FIT Siegel. Detroit’s own Jared Wilson is a true master of the TB-303, delivering jacking and melodic acid for over a decade.

'Mind Travel' is a mesmerizing 10-minute journey that intertwines melodic acid lines with ethereal strings. Bizz O.D., an enigmatic figure known for her jackin' acid techno tracks released between '93 and '98, emerges once again with the previously unreleased floor-killing acid stomper, 'One Two,' which, despite being recorded in the mid-'90s, remains as fresh as ever.

FIT Siegel's contribution, 'No Feedback,' originated as a sampling exercise in the studio and transformed into an experimental yet functional piece that would find its home in the crates of adventurous DJs."

M.E.R 004 La Lucha EP is the first release put out by Cabanelas from his own label project, which he shares with artists like Santiago Uribe and Juan Dairechsion.

It's also his debut in a 4 tracked EP, after two previous colaborations, and shapes and reflects much of M.E.R's musical imprint.

The outcome : 4 floor-oriented tracks delivering a classic powerful sound, produced along a year period, which gives a broader outlook on his approach to musical production.

Honne music vinyl strikes again with a new solid and diverse various artists compilation. A1 goes by our chicago friends Ciphr (Max Jacobson and Christian Thomas) with some jazzy grooves and a hypnotic saxophone melody that can blow your head off, A2 in charge of the san diego gem producer John Manhard, soft house masterpiece, his way of processing sounds is something that still has us shocked, the sound in this track will make you realize the great work he dedicates in post production, B1 is a full electro vibe with some sick arpeggios layers over the track, great tune as always by the italian prodigy Riciar Ghir, perfect for starting the dancefloor move.
On the B2 as always we have someone from the honne music family and we can not be more than happy with the vinyl debut of our beloved Costa that has given us a track in which you can feel all the fury and desire to raise his hand and tell the world that he is ready for everything involved in the music production, this is a perfect track for peak hr time.

PRZ reports for duty for the 9th release in the Hilltown Disco series with six no-nonsense, commanding, electro-cuts, delving into intergalactic territory with "Red Material".

Chateau Royal boss, Gal Perez has featured twice on Hilltown Disco's charity compilations, making Perez a familiar face on the label. Tel-Aviv based, PRZ spent over a year finely-tuning 'Red Material', flexing his rich and extensive production levels.

The 12" features some of the most intense and twisted, bass-heavy tracks the label has released to date. With fizzing drum machine beats, deep, space acid-lines, and the occasional disgruntled cyborg, Gal creates certified future-classics for the Hilltown Disco imprint.

For those who have been following Laurent Garnier for a long time, know how multipurpose this artist is, how his status as "best DJ in the world" is only a shortcut used by default. It should be recognised that this man is gifted with an extraordinary sense of combat, and that he has been fighting for many years to impose good music on the public. Laurent Garnier has always refused chapels and privileged actions; he does not support repetition, even less compromises, and certainly no downtime.

bbbbbb welcomes powerful split EP ‘Clubs Are Closed Vol.1’ as Bjarki & Kuldaboli and Krokodil drop fresh heat on the imprint.

A hub for boundary-pushing and innovative productions across techno, electro, and beyond, Bjarki’s bbbbbb imprint continues to serve as a must-visit platform showcasing Iceland’s finest talents across its family of core artists. Latest offering ‘Clubs Are Closed Vol. 1’ sees founder Bjarki join forces with bbbbbb mainstay Krokodil to take command of the A-side as they deliver a pair of powerful efforts, while the B-side sees Kuldaboli and Erling Bang combine under their Krokodil alias to close the show.

The release welcomes the long-awaited release of opening cut ‘Ú jeje’, a favourite from Bjarki’s 2019 sets, alongside the rousing, high-octane ride of ‘Karmageddon’ (Deepfake Mix). On the flip, the impactful sonics of Krokodil’s B1 ‘Kops Are Comin’ take hold, a production emerging deep from the archives and already supported by the likes of VTSS and SPFDJ, before closing the package via the warping electro spheres of ‘SurvivinTheDanger’.

Not a stranger to the dark and gloomy acid sound, Disk Space delivers a techno trance fusion with their latest Control/Revolution EP. For us, this one marks the first release on our The Factory Limited series. Ultimate rare pressing in only 200 copies!

PRSPCTV aka XENTRIX is an emerging Belgian techno talent who steps out here with his first release on Musik is Egall. His moody and atmospheric original 'Perspective & Surface' is found on the B-side. It's a hunched-over, stripped-back deep techno and dub fusion with grotty synths and vast incendiary hi-hats hurrying you along.

Label co-founder Oliver Hess steps up with his own remix on the A-side and flips the track into something as as deep as they come, with dubbed out chords and warm, edgeless but driving kicks and smeared pads all laced up with muffled vocal mutterings and rising synths. It's one for early-evening groove sessions or late-night zone outs.

030303 Records taught us a lot about the many faces of acid throughout the 18 years of its existence. The label has specialised in all substyles of the genre, whether that's tracks inspired by early 80s proto acid, Chicago house, braindance or the eerie melancholy of Polygon Window. Good thing is, they haven't stopped getting better at it. Most 030 releases are now out of print and severely sought after and, with so many instant classics featured on it, this fifth compilation will be no exception. Caramel Chameleon kicks off with an epic cut, one that will appeal to fans of Roy of the Ravers. Perseus Traxx, Raving Kid and RAG aka Steven Brunsmann follow suit with acid on a deeper tip, with the latter adding a heavenly soulful touch to it. And how great it is to see American producer Korr? return to the label with a wonderfully spaced out introspective cut. Also standing out is Endfest's heavy electro/acid take on one of the most obscure mysteries ever to come out of Detroit: Shari Vari. Dwaalgast and De Beer Uit Allekmaar aka Cosmic Force deliver the last track before the lights go on - the aptly named A Wave Goodbye has a distinctive, bouncy westcoast-sound-of-Holland feel to it. An excellent compilation and a huge tip!

Comment To Come

In the late 80s I started listening to UK radio stations when I was a little kid and I instantly fell in love with the acid sound and rave movement that was portrayed on those UK dance shows. When I got old enough to attend clubs and warehouse raves, to experience the movement first hand, it was a nobrainer for me that the music and the lifestyle was my call. Lately.... in my dj sets and when producing music... I have been time travelling back to those days. Back to how I remember the music I fell so deeply in love with and that is exactly what you hear on this 'Done/Undone' release. For the 'Done' track I teamed up with Cari Golden to have a female spoken word and a great message to build the music around. I always prefer to do original vocal recordings rather than using samples. Cari understood 100% what I was after and I love the lyrics and execution by her. The spoken word is centered, very clear and deep to contrast the constantly building intensity of the acid patterns and thumping beats. 'Undone' is instrumental and has a more straight forward flow to it. It's quite simple although the shifting groove patterns might surprise some. I was torn between two different acid patterns and
decided to drop one of them as a surprise change. Playing the track in clubs I quickly learned that the change of dynamics had a great effect. Both tracks have been wrapped in dark-themed chords and atmosphere. Both tracks have my take on the sound I fell in love with years ago and obviously still love today. I hope you like what you hear.

The new VA gathers 4 tracks mixing several styles of acid lines in several universes: rave techno, psytrance, hard techno, Acid Techno and Neoacid. We start with VALHALLA from the Parisian NTBR, a track with psytrance sounds and vibes marked by a powerful bassline that rolls on everything that moves and its strong percussions. NTBR shows us again its strong capacity to produce different styles and offers us a bewitching journey. We continue with ASTROTURF from the duo Blame The Mono which stands out with its powerful kick, its percussive bassline and a perfect balance between psytrance and hard Techno, all accompanied by German influence that we find in the breaks with a male voice. The French producer Vizionn still shows us his talent to mix Rave and Acid Techno. A perfect balance of bouncing kicks, captivating acid lines and percussions that bring an incredible energy to this track. We close this V.A with the talented La Kajofol and the track Kickstart: a powerful kick accompanied by big acid lines, mixing several styles of acid and reminding the neoacid sounds that this label puts forward. Get ready for the trip!
