The Cramps' Bad Music for Bad People is a compilation album of songs from their earlier records, as well as a variety of B-sides and covers. If there is one record that best represents the legendary Cramps at the height of their power, it has to be this one. The Stooges that went out on tour in spring 1971 were a quite different group to any version to have entered a studio. Joining the remaining Fun House veterans - Iggy on vocals, Ron Asheton on guitar and Scott Asheton on drums, were new boys Jimmy Recca on bass and James Williamson on guitar - yes indeed! - a dual guitar Stooges!! ... and Jools Thurston nowhere in sight

The Rattler Proxy, a sonic duo from Athens, Greece, release their second single featuring two original songs - "Company of Wolves" and "Death Machine" - along with two remixes of the latter by Antoni Maiovvi and Jokers Of The Scene.

Drawing influences from the likes of Suicide and the dark and synth-heavy soundtrack work of John Carpenter, The Rattler Proxy explore the realm of urban alienation through intense and claustrophobic soundscapes. Often swapping their pulsating electronic crawl, for digital rockabilly-esque freak-outs, theirs is a world of back alleys and gang laden imagery, a rhythmic decent into a hellish, concrete landscape.

"Death Machine" is a lush electronic bossa ode to serial killer Richard "The Night Stalker" Ramirez, while "Company of Wolves" is a hyperactive stomper that runs with the pack. Antoni Maiovvi's teutonic reinterpretation of "Death Machine" is a brooding hair raiser that will make you look over your shoulder more than once, while the Jokers Of The Scene deliver a dark balearic epic that stretches out to 9 minutes and 53 seconds

Incredible but true, your fave label discovered an entire unreleased punk rock album from the land of spaghetti and mandolino! Uniplux were one of the few bands of 1977 Roman punk scene that included bands such as Trancefusion, Elektroshock, Luxfero, Ulster Punk Group, Apologia Di Reato, Bads, Stigma, Ddt. This band released two singles, the first, released for a major label RCA and entitled 'Chi siamo noi' came out in 1982. The second one, 'Maledetto rock', (Pogo records), came out two years later in 1984. Both records are very hard to find and sought after, mainly because Uniplux offered a unique vision of melodic punk rock. in 1997, a bunch of European punk collectors compiled 'killed by death 201', dedicated to Italian 1977/82 punk rock scene, selecting the track U.X.' to represent this band. After over 36 years, Rave Up Records unearthed from the tomb 11 killer tracks!!!! Amazing Italian punk with female vocals. For fans of Generation X, Buzzcocks, Penetration and all the early UK punk rock.

Released in 1982, "Weltweit" was the sole output of the band. It has appropriately become quite rare and difficult to find with the resulting high prices to obtain an original copy. Inspired by the greats such as Kraftwerk, YMO and Klaus Schulze, the three members crafted an exquisite collection of electronic pop songs played on a very impressive collection of analog synthesizers (Arp Odyssey, Korg MS series, MiniMoog, PolyMoog, Moog Modular System 55, PPG 360, some Rolands, and Doepfer sequencer), self-builds and drum machines (Roland TR-808) that were considered cutting edge at the time. The band would have recorded a second album but split up before that was possible. Members of the band continued to be involved in the music industry at least peripherally but didn't participate in further collaborations or bands. Also interestingly, MONOPOL was basically a studio-only project and actually never played live (despite some TV appearances).

Definitely a must-have for fans of NDW such as Bal Paré, Grauzone, Piefke & Pafke, Rheingold, Stahlnetz, Ti-Tho and the like.

As humans, we are aware of our inner beast and should therefore be able to control it. We understand our hard-wired primal urges and why they exist in an evolutional sense. We understand the relationship between mind and body. Highly evolved and intelligent, we should be able to recognize these genetic hangovers and control them as a means to act positively and move forward as a compassion-ate species. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Recent global events have proven this. The human race is consuming itself.World Eater, the new album by Benjamin John Power's Blanck Mass project, is a reaction to this. There is an underlying violence and anger throughout the record, even though some of these tracks are the closest Power has ever come to writing, in his words, actual love songs.' Maybe subconsciously this was some kind of countermeasure to restore some personal balance,' Power explains. On World Eater, Power further perfects the propulsive, engrossing electronic music he has created throughout his impressive decade-plus career, both under the Blanck Mass moniker and as one-half of Fuck Buttons, as he elaborates upon the sound of 2015's brilliant double album Dumb Flesh. As massive as the sonic world of the new record often feels, its greatest achievement is in its maximization of a limited set of tools, a restriction intentionally set by Power himself. As an exercise in better understanding myself musically, I found myself using an increasingly restricted palette during the World Eater creative process. Evoking these intense emotions using minimal components really put me outside of my comfort zone and was unlike the process I am used to. Feeling exposed shone a new light on this particular snapshot. I feel enriched for doing so.'

Dischord reissue Lungfish's fourth full-length, Sound in Time, on LP.

Originally released in 1996, the album was recorded at Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, Virginia by Don Zientara. Long out of print, this version has been remastered for vinyl by TJ Lipple.

From their inception in 1988 until their hiatus in 2006, Baltimore's Lungfish music band released 11 full-length albums and played concerts across the United States and in Europe. At the time of this recording,

Lungfish was Daniel Higgs, Asa Osborne, Sean Meadows, and Mitchell Feldstein.

Cleveland's legendary Dead Boys were the very essence of punk: raw, visceral, brutal, and a whole lot of fun. Following the release of their appropriately titled debut, Young, Loud, and Snotty, Stiv Bators and crew rolled into the Old Waldorf in the city by The Bay and tore the place apart. "Sonic Reducer" could not be a more appropriately titled tune, breaking music down to it's raw, reduced, emotional base. It's hard to find a band more punk than Dead Boys, and there's very few live shows that show their raw power more than this one, another unbeatable radio broadcast on Radio X.

After cutting his teeth in the late '70s no wave scene with bands Theoretical Girls and The Static, Glenn Branca made his first solo statement, Lesson No. 1, in 1980. The inaugural release on legendary post-punk / dance label 99 Records, Lesson No. 1 unveiled Branca's visionary guitar concepts with two monstrous, side-long compositions that helped forge NYC's downtown art-punk sound and acted as a massive influence on countless young groups, including Sonic Youth and Swans.
The title track is easily Branca's most accessible moment, its driving beat and interlocking patterns resemble German pioneers Neu! playing Phillip Glass. Never before (or since) has minimalism sounded so euphoric. Dissonance' is the A-side's polar opposite. Dark, skittish and unhinged, Branca leads his band (guitar, keyboard, bass, drums and sledgehammer) through block after block of industrial terror, leaving listeners drained in the process.
Soon after the release of Lesson No. 1, Branca began to work on ambitious, long-form symphonies. Bad Smells,' included here as a single-sided bonus 12-inch, was commissioned in 1982 as a dance piece for choreographer Twyler Tharp and originally released on a split LP with John Giorno. Featuring Sonic Youth guitarists Lee Ranaldo and Thurston Moore, Bad Smells' is a thrilling multi-section guitar assault that foretells much of Branca, Ranaldo and Moore's work for the next decade.

Formed in 1978 in the sleepy Brighton suburb of Peacehaven, Peter & The Test Tube Babies are one of the most legendary bands of the first wave of UK Oi! and punk. Known for their sarcastic, tongue-in-cheek lyrics and explosive live show, the band has been rocking stages for nearly 4 decades and are still going strong. Pissed & Proud, originally released in 1982, is their debut full-length album. They had previously released numerous singles and compilation tracks, but this live album - recorded in Hammersmith, Wood Green, and their original stomping ground, Brighton - was their biggest release yet. Not many bands debut with a live album, but for Peter & The Test Tube Babies, who were at that point legends for their live show, it made perfect sense. Essential UK Oi! reissued on vinyl, enjoy P&TTTB at their rawest, wryest best.

Vacuum-sealed, chrome gleaming, propulsion pounding, eyebrows arched and slightly pixelated, this album is like the cupie-doll face beckoning from a digital billboard outside your hovercraft window. From a none-too-distant dystopia and on to your turntable — VCFs slowly open across a smogged-out horizon as they urge you to take that Necessary Call,' warn moodily against a Cyberattack,' and inexplicably Crack An Egg' in honor of the human race. Synthetic earworms squirm into and out of view like twinkling city lights through evening's opaque air, feasting on terse punk skeletons. The neon is buffed to an aerosol sheen by Chris Woodhouse behind the blinking motherboards, with a streetlight or two of Gary Numan's slanting through the door. The automatons know where the party's at — follow them.

On her 3rd album Berlin's GOLDEN DISKÓ SHIP enlargens her pop / experimental sound cosmos for a new component: BASS. In consequence, "Imaginary Boys" was mixed by SCHNEIDER TM and RASHAD BECKER took care of mastering and the vinyl cut.

"Imaginary Boys" sets a new landmark in the work of THERESA STROETGES alias GOLDEN DISKÓ SHIP. The album was conceived during her stay in Lisbon in the summer of 2015 where the multi-instrumentalist found plenty of inspiration in traditional and experimental music. These elements left their traces not only as field recordings but also led the classically trained musician to re-consider the use of her former main instrument viola which is more present than before. One dominant compositional element of "Imaginary Boys" is a deliberate use of time, influenced by the perception of electronic music and techno. While songs like the euphoric "Pacific Trash Vortex" or "Swarm Of Bees" come to the point without any deviation, tracks like "Sundrunk" and "Lifelike Showdown" take their time to develop tense atmospheres of psychedelic intensity. A second characteristic that is accentuated more than on her previous albums "Prehistoric Ghost Party" (Klangbad, 2012) and "Invisible Bonfire" (Spezialmaterial, 2014) is BASS as an aesthetic constant that connects the individual songs / tracks. This way GOLDEN DISKÓ SHIP's sound cosmos, right from the beginning an open and broadly framed matter ignoring boundaries between pop and experimentation, gains a clearly audible additional depth. The choice of electronic artist SCHNEIDER TM for mixing and D&M's studio wizard RASHAD BECKER for mastering / vinyl cut is not only a highly coherent and consequent decision but gives the seven tracks on "Imaginary Boys" the best possible finishing.

With not one but two tracks being BBC 6Music Recommended by Steve Lamacq, the self-titled debut album from Invaderband (fronted by Adam Leonard who has previously worked with The Owl Service and P.G. Six) is a slickly drilled postpunk gem built on Krautrock foundations. "Fat Bob's Feet" is a full-length album by the Punk band Toy Dolls. It is one of the more popular pieces recorded by the band and included such punk favourites as "Bitten by a Bed Bug", "The Sphinx Stinks" and bonus single A-side "Turtles Crazy!" that wasn't included in original album track list. "Kids In Tyne & Wear" is the reworking of Kim Wilde classic Kids in America, one most often covered songs by the punk rock bands. 'Fat Bob's Feet is a rare late Toy Dolls album that doesn't contain any classic/symphony instrumental adaptation.

Absurd-Ditties is the seventh full-length album by the punk rock band TOY DOLLS. It is considered by many, including vocalist and guitarist Olga, to be one of the band's best albums! The album title is a pun on the word "absurdities", merging "absurd", meaning "unreasonable or ridiculous in manner", with "ditties", meaning "short simple songs", which when combined to form Absurd-Ditties describe the album's songs itself as "absurd
ditties". Ian Glasper also called the album "brilliant" in his 2004 book Burning Britain: The History of UK Punk 1980-1984.
