PUSSYLIQUOR formed in April last year via their degree courses with Access To Music Brighton, the five like minded souls bonded over a passion for hardcore music and even harder core feminist beliefs.

Music is our platform, we are strong believers of feminism, we intend to correct the misconceptions around the world and spread fun and joy along the way. Feminism is about eschewing social constraints and showing how unnecessary they are, how we, as women, are subject to ridicule if we are not true to them.

We believe through feminism we can create a community where people can share their experiences and be able to feel unashamed in whatever way they choose to identify. One of the purposes of this band is for us to share our experiences, we felt there had been many times in the past where we wished we could've been told more about feminism.' PUSSYLIQUOR

Goodbye Lullaby is the fourth studio album by Avril Lavigne, released in 2011. Recording sessions for the album began in November 2008, and took place over a period of almost two years, concluding in October 2010. Goodbye Lullaby is a more introspective effort and consists of mainly stripped down instruments such as the piano and acoustic guitar. Avril co-wrote every original track on the album, and took on production duties for the first time

The album debuted inside the top five in over 15 countries such as the United States and Canada, topping the charts in over eight countries, such as Australia, Greece, Hong Kong and Japan.

Three singles were released from the album. The album's lead single, What the Hell' achieved worldwide chart success, reaching the top twenty in the UK, the top ten in Europe and Australia and the top five in Asia. The following singles, Smile' and Wish You Were Here' also received chart success worldwide. The album also includes an extended version of the soundtrack single for the 2010 film Alice in Wonderland, titled Alice'.

Goodbye Lullaby is now available on vinyl for the first time. This first, limited edition run is pressed on 180 gram transparent green vinyl. Only 2.500 copies are available.

First-ever complete reissue of legendary Texas punk band's highly sought-after debut album. The songs Hate the Police,' Kill From the Heart' and Wheelchair Epidemic' have been covered by Mudhoney, The Spits and Jesus Lizard respectively. Austin, Texas, 1980: In the dark ages before SXSW, there was a bar called Raul's that was the center of the Austin punk scene. Actually, it basically was the whole scene and The Dicks were born from it. The Dicks made a big splash with their first single, Hate the Police, and then recorded Kill From the Heart just before vocalist Gary Floyd moved to San Francisco. In those magical couple years of the Dicks' infancy in Texas, they made a dynamic impact on many people with a stellar live show that mixed punk and politics. Alongside Floyd, the original lineup was guitarist Glen Taylor, bassist Buxf Parrot and drummer Pat Deason. They imploded in 1983. Alternative Tentacles is proud to present a very necessary reissue of the band's beloved first LP. If you aren't familiar with Kill From the Heart, then you need to be aware of this bona-fide classic of Reagan-era punk—a record that inspired many of the artists that inspired you. This very important document has been remastered with love by Jello Biafra.

On paper, the collaboration between Jello Biafra and Ministry seems like a match made in industrial punk heaven, and thankfully the first release from Lard lives up to these expectations. Both parties seemed to have taught the other side a thing or two: Jello Biafra is more focused than usual, while Alain Jourgensen and Paul Barker from Ministry sound a lot more punky and loose. The percussion, courtesy of Bill Rieflin and the late Jeff Ward, is firmly in an industrial style, though — all mechanized metallic thrashing, but it works just fine with the material. The standout track is "Forkboy," the album's opener, a frantic guitar workout with Biafra's righteous anger coming through loud and clear.

"Greatest Hits Vol. 1" is the first album by the Punk/Oi! legends Cockney Rejects, originally released in 1980. Despite the title, it is not a greatest hits compilation. Though they didn't get around to (allegedly) naming the genre of Oi! until their second album, working class football hooligans Cockney Rejects went a long way towards defining the sound. The raw street punk on the cheekily titled "Greatest Hits Vol. 1" dismisses English punk's art-schooled class of '77 to embrace the everyday Brit who drinks a pint or two while watching his favorite football team.

Cockney Rejects spawned a punk sungenre, and that subgenre is Oi- the dirty, ugly, and more politically charged troublesome cousin of punk. This album is the essence of it- sloppy, catchy riffs that are accompanied by pummeling bass lines, steady but uncapable drumming, and punky vocal wailing which sounds like a more polished Johnny Rotten.

"The Power and the Glory" is the third studio album by Punk/Oi! Legends Cockney Rejects, originally released in 1981. Quite a departure from their original Oi! sound, this is an Oi!/hard rock crossover album, complete with an acoustic ballad, keyboards and an overall rock, perhaps even verging on traditional metal sound.

Blending wiry post-punk with unpredictable art-rock, Drahla have garnered early critical praise with their first singles, including 'Faux Text'/'Burden of Proof' which was released via Too Pure Singles Club earlier this year and sold out its limited run of 500 copies. Formed in late 2015, Drahla quickly found their identity in Leeds' fertile music scene with their minimal yet robust bass-heavy sound, while their reputation as a fervent live act saw them sharing stages with Parquet Courts, The Cribs, Buzzcocks, Dream Wife, Menace Beach and more.

Produced by Hookworms' MJ, Third Article documents Drahla's progression from promising DIY outfit to a formidable and distinctive band who've built on the early support from the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music, DIY magazine and Loud & Quiet. Third Article makes its intention clear with EP opener 'Form of Luxury', an ice-cool yet spiky slab of noise-rock. 'Silk Spirit' and 'Circuit' typify Drahla's sonic trademarks, where sharp, off-kilter guitar riffs juxtapose with singer/bassist Luciel Brown's composed, self-assured vocal. Guitarist Rob Riggs takes lead vocal on the caustic EP closer 'New Living Creation', which also adds saxophone for an erratic yet purposeful statement of intent.

Keine Ahnung was a quartet from Wörth am Rhein, Germany formed in 1980. The original line up was Rolf Schmuck, Franz H. Rodenkirchen, Elke Fuchs and Olaf Schumacher. Hermann Kopp from Stuttgart, a friend of the band, contributed a composition on their first LP and became a full member in 1985. Taking cues from Conrad Schnitzler, Tuxedomoon and Dome, the band members shared a common interest in industrial, pop, avant garde literature and cinema. Their controversial name translates to Don't know' or Haven't got a clue' in German. The quartet would record three LPs in 6 years, two of which remain unreleased.

In March 1983, Keine Ahnung recorded their self-produced and financed debut LP in two days in a small studio in Stuttgart (12 hours total). The mixing was done in one day in a studio in Karlsruhe, April 1983. The self-titled LP was released later that summer on their own PASSIV label in an edition of 1000 copies. This record obtained recognition far beyond the German borders. Keine Ahnung in the studio and live were completely different. Studio time was expensive in these days, so the music was minimal electronic pop, expertly crafted and razor sharp man machine music. The live sound utilized more complex synthesizers, tapes, guitars, metal percussion and custom built electronics. The beats and bass lines came from the Roland 606/303 duo triggering a KORG MS-20 for the bass drum. The track "Funkbild DPA" is a spontaneous "live in the studio" recording, that gives a hint of what the live sound was like. All four members would take turns singing and playing the instruments.

The original master tape was transferred by Frieder Butzmann in Berlin. All songs have been remastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, CA. The vinyl is housed in an exact replica jacket designed by Rolf Schmuck, featuring black and white texture and cartoon drawings the band members. Each copy includes a double sided insert featuring lyrics, notes and photos of the band.

Since forming in 2015 as a college art school project, Dream Wife - a name chosen as commentary on society's objectification of women - have become one of the foremost up-and-coming bands out of the U.K. They have garnered praise for their early releases and their ferocious live shows, which saw them sell out venues across U.K. and Europe, tour the U.S. with the Kills, and play festival stages all over the world. Now the band are gearing up to release Dream Wife on January 26th, 2018 via Lucky Number.

GG Allin is one of the most divisive legends in punk rock history. A true individual, Allin lived the real punk rock lifestyle all the way up until his untimely death of a heroin overdose in 1993. Originally released in 1980, Always Was, Is And Always Shall Be is Allin's debut record and the finest full length he ever released. Full of snotty and brutal punk with Stooges and New York Dolls influences, this is a necessary album for anyone interested in punk history.

Recorded in 1981, this classic album took the band further down the road of despair, initiated with Seventeen Seconds, with an album full of mournful atmospheric tracks, including their hit single, 'Primary.' Includes 6 bonus tracks in a deluxe gatefold 180 gram 2LP version.

How a boy from the Sri Lankan jungle formed the greatest post-punk band you've never heard. Re-issue of Glorious Din's second full-length album from 1987.

Fronted by an intense singer with an oblique songbook and a mysterious past Glorious Din were unlike any other group to emerge from San Francisco's '80s underground. With singer Eric Cope, the chosen persona of a Joy Division-obsessed Sri Lankan boy who travelled halfway around the world to follow his punk dream.

The multifaceted nature of the '80s scene - encompassing everything from three-chord thrash punk to garage-band pop, experimental art rock and atonal noise, all created by bands with overlapping memberships - can seem baffling to outsiders. Of the many acts clamouring for attention, Glorious Din was perhaps the best, their mesmerising sound instantly getting under the skin via their non-standard drum patterns, eastern-sounding guitar melodies, a melodic bass in pole position, and a dissociative foreign singer who intoned prophetic poems in a trance. The enigmatic group acted as a catalyst too, helping total unknowns to gain recognition and being the uncommon glue linking Faith No More, the Dead Kennedys and Michael Franti, as well as R.E.M and the Cocteau Twins, such is the reach of their influence.

The music of the '80s counterculture thrived in peripheral spaces, and part of Glorious Din's appeal was their mysteriousness: a quartet of mismatched musicians not necessarily playing their chosen instruments, with the obscure lyrics of their intense frontman near impossible to decipher. The group imploded after only three years, but their cult appeal has lasted far longer through their two albums and related material on their Insight label.

Glorious Din's second album, Closely Watched Trains, had a very different sound from its predecessor. Eric was listening to a lot of Nick Drake, so they mixed the vocals and guitar much louder than the other instruments. Nevertheless, the album showed a growth and maturity on the band's part. Paget plays a metal dobro on some numbers, which adds a sheen of folk to the post-punk proceedings, as heard on the opener 'Stilt Walkers'. '1651 Map' has Cope seemingly recounting a colonial uprising or an industrial dispute over a sparse rhythm led by Paget's minimal guitar, and early number 'Voices Everywhere' is here reprised as a joyous blast, the lyrics speaking of a pending arrival.

Paget is well-represented with 'Red Dirt', which has fantastic modulated bass from Heeschen, 'Circle Star', another freedom track inspired by his wanderings, and the melodious 'Blood', which closes out the set. Cope's songs have repeated references to trains, hence the album's title. But by the time the album surfaced, the band had already broken up. Now exactly 30 years later Closely Watched Trains is still a more than rewarding listen and a vivid document of the times.

Together with Crime, the Nuns predated and singlehandedly helped to shape the Punk scene in San Francisco in 1976. Their demos from 1977 seemed to be lost in the mists of time forever, but now here they are, all of them unreleased. An ESSENTIAL piece in the history of vintage American Punk!!!

After much searching and detective work we bring you a splattering of more undiscovered gems plus a few old hard to find favourites.

First up we bring you THE FEATURES who were another old Roxy Club Punk band from Orpington in Kent. Both tracks have been taken direct of the master acetate that the band had cut in 1978 and pressed up 500 copies on their own Progress label. The next band THE INNOCENT BYSTANDERS is a real coup for us as its features TWO unreleased tracks from this obscure London based band. This is the same band that released "Where Is Johnny" on a split single with the "Debutantes" on the 'ROK' label in 1979. I can't stress to you how good these tracks are.... Full OF ATTITUDE with sneering vocals and the story behind this band is awesome! Tracks 5 & 6 are brought to you by VAIN AIMS who are a VERY obscure Welsh band who only ever did one gig and split but in their very short existence they managed to record and released a single to die for and is SO hard to track down as only 500 were pressed. What stands out for me on these two tracks are the vocals and the catchiness of the songs..... I can't believe this record is not on every body's wants list, I put that down to the fact hardly anyone knows about this release! We finish off side two with a North London based band called FENZYX who were mainly made up of ex members of Demon Preacher and released a sole 7" on the collectable 'Ellie Jay' in a pressing size of just 500 copies again in 1981.

Side two kicks off with the RAREST UK Punk Rock single ever pressed. YES, the GREAT BRITISH HEROES (aka GBH), both tracks have been taken from their withdrawn Lightning Records release. When this single surfaced a few years ago, ALL the collectors around the world went into total meltdown and were shocked that it was actually pressed, NOT even the band were aware! We now move onto another old favourite of ours as we were the first ones to crack the mystery of Birmingham's ANTI-SOCIAL. Most collectors would of heard these tracks by now but we wanted to share the story behind this band. The penultimate band THE PEROID hail from the outskirts of Manchester and were mates of The Buzzcocks. This band started off life in 1976 and did go through a few line up changes but did get their act together enough to enter into a studio. Sadly over the years, the master tape had got lost and these tracks have been salvaged from an old cassette found at the back of a draw. Now onto the band that closes this volume for us are UNDERDOG who were from Harlow in Essex. Not strictly a Punk band as they were on the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal scene but we thought it was a cross over single. PLUS both sides of the single are a FULL ON ATTACK of NOISE and in the true punk spirit they formed their own label and self financed a run just 500 copies - another tough record to find! So there you go... I hope you enjoy another album filled with rarities and great tracks!

It was the end of the 70s, when Federico Fiumani, together with two classmates, gave life to the embryonic line up known as CFS. The acronym is formed by the initials of the members. Cicchi (Gianni, drummer), Fiumani (guitar and voice) and
Susini (Salvatore, bass). Later, Susini was replaced by the brother of Cicchi, Leandro. The new incarnation of 'Diaframma' was born, with the singer now replaced with Nicola Vannini. From their earliest momenets they were sharing the same stages cathching the a simialr fanbase as their friends Neon, Pankow and Litfiba - whom all contributed transforming the Tuscan capital into the epicenter of Post-punk in Italy.

Bay Area veteran ANDY HUMAN has been a mainstay in the DIY punk community over the past few years. An accomplished and extremely productive musician, Andy Human has sharpened his pop-chops as a member of critically acclaimed bands such as THE WORLD, RAZZ, BEATNIKS, THE CUTZ, THE TIME FLYS and LENZ. THE REPTOIDS provide Andy the space to excel within a KBD-punk framework, with his vibrant take on R'n'R, (with a little bit of weird thrown in to keep you on your toes). A 30-song career spanning compilation from this long-running female fronted Bay Area punk band. BAD DADDIES (aka B.D.), run the gamut from hard-core noise-bursts, to '90s-style rock through to straight up pop-punk sensibilies. This compilation takes in a smattering of tracks from their 2011 self-released uber-rare debut singles, (editions of just 83 copies and 137 copies), to 2016's self release demo cassette (edition of 70 copies). Initial copies of this LP include an extensive zine, with band interviews, original artwork and track by track commentary. RIYL the Bags, the Urinals, Sonic Youth, Bikini Kill, Melt Banana.

AARON COMETBUS asked me to do some low-key shows for PINHEAD GUNPOWDER in San Pedro back in Feb. Although they ended up not being so low key, there was a spirit about the shows that tugged on the locals' intimate sides. Sides you're lucky enough to see once in a lifetime. Tough wrestle boys singin' like birds, bad drunks bein' sincere, drama queens leaving their crowns at home, etc. Sometime during the weekend, they asked me to do a record of their new material. Kick Over the Traces is a collection of PINHEAD GUNPOWDER's (featuring BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG of GREEN DAY and AARON COMETBUS) best songs, according to the band. Everyone will clock in, I'm sure, with their own favorites due to the fact that pretty much every PINHEAD GUNPOWDER song is great!

The UT reissue series. The band is reissuing its remastered catalogue on Out Records through Forte Distribution in 2017 and 2018. The UT reissue campaign starts with the Ut EP and the Confidential EP, remastered by Dominique Brethes at Wolf Studios and repackaged as a double 12' (both cut at 45rpm for maximum sound fidelity) and a CD version. The double 12' has both 12''s in a PVC outer bag (with DL code), and the CD is a 3-fold digifile. There will be 500 only of the double-pack 12' set. Ut is a radical rock group founded by Nina Canal, Jacqui Ham and Sally Young in NYC in Dec 1978. Originating in the downtown No Wave scene and inheritors of the collision between rock, free jazz and the avant-garde, Ut exploded the rigidity of conventional rock, constructing songs through collective improvisation, swapping instruments and rotating the role of singer/director.
Migrating to London in 1981, Ut played with bands like The Fall and The Birthday Party and released music on their own label, Out Records. Ut became a favorite of BBC's John Peel and recorded sessions for his show. Joining forces in 1987 with the label Blast First, they released the critically acclaimed In Gut's House in 1988 and made the NME 'Top 50 Albums' that year. As The Washington Post exclaimed, With In Gut's House, Ut has scraped and droned one of the finest underground rock albums of the year... The tightly interwoven, firmly focused sound... is rich, spooky, urgent and quite unexpectedly beautiful.'
The album Griller followed in 1989, engineered by label mate Steve Albini, who shared Ut's raw aesthetic and captured the band's intensity. Ut disbanded in 1990 and began performing again in 2010. They have since toured the US, UK, Ireland and Europe.

Grammy® Award-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Green Day will release Greatest Hits: God's Favorite Band on 17th November. The playlist includes 20 hits spanning the band's prolific 21 years as a band, plus a brand new song called Back In The USA' and a new duet with award-winning Country Music superstar Miranda Lambert on Ordinary World.' Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong previously collaborated with Lambert at the 56th annual Grammy® Awards in 2014 for a live duet in tribute of the late Phil Everly of The Everly Brothers.

On 22nd March, God miraculously came down to the Ed Sullivan Theatre to introduce Green Day as God's Favorite Band' on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. When God speaks people listen, and he granted Green Day the title: Greatest Hits: God's Favorite Band. The collection chronicles the sonic journey of one of the most essential and dynamic rock bands in recent history. Formed in 1986 in Berkeley, CA, Green Day achieved breakout success with 1994's Dookie which has sold over 10 million copies to date in the U.S. alone. Widely credited with popularizing and reviving mainstream interest in punk rock, Green Day would go on to release Insomniac (1995), Nimrod (1997), and Warning (2000). In 2004, Green Day released the rock opera American Idiot which captured the nation's attention and sold more than six million copies in the U.S. Mojo declared It's exhilarating stuff, the kind of record that sets new parameters as to what is possible from a punk rock'n'roll band in the 21st century.' In 2010, a stage adaptation of American Idiot debuted on Broadway. The band went on to release the critically acclaimed 21st Century Breakdown (2009) and the album trilogy Green Day ¡Uno!, Green Day ¡Dos!, and Green Day ¡Tré (2012).

Green Day is one of the world's best-selling bands of all time, having sold more than 75 million records worldwide. The group has won five Grammy Awards. On April 18, 2015, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a part of the 2015 class in what was their first year of eligibility for induction. Green Day's 12th studio album Revolution Radio was released on 7th October, 2016 and debuted at No. 1 on the UK Official Album Chart. Upon its release, People proclaimed: The punk vets still have a tattooed finger on the national pulse.'

Solo project by one Lise Sutter who has been active in the Geneva/Leipzig axis that includes Couteau Latex and the Staches, an all women band with two bass mixing very early New Order and screechy synthed ESG. They have the energy. They have the spit. We have seen them play, in disguise, smiling at us as they were pulsing thru their short melodic punk outbursts like watching Malaria or the Bush Tetras or maybe even Prag Vec.

Thomas Leer is an innovative electronic musician from Port Glasgow, Scotland. He began singing for a local band at age 13, and was writing his own music by 18. By 1977, he had moved to London, where he fronted Pressure, a Clash­-esque punk group with fellow experimental Scottish musician Robert Rental. After hearing Kraftwerk, Leer became interested in synthesizers â not long after, he was exploring the experimental techniques of Eno, Zappa, Beefheart, Faust, and Can. In 1978, Thomas released his first single, 'Private Plane'/'International', on his own Oblique Records that we reissued in 2015. '1979' is a 14-song collection spread across two pieces of vinyl clocking in at 70 minutes. Leer says, '1979' was a great year for making music. The punk explosion two years earlier, cleansed the palate and opened up minds to new sonic possibilities. It was in this spirit I took to exploring electronics and set up my first little home studio. Bearing in mind this was before such luxuries as Portastudios or affordable multi-tracks, I decided sound quality was less important than experimentation and innovation, so I pressed on with the meager equipment I had. My tabletop studio in Crouch End, North London, consisted of two cassette machines, a copycat tape echo, some FX pedals, Ring Modulator, Guitar, Bass & Wasp Synthesizer.' Songs range from half serene atmospheres, to minimal rhythmic workouts, to tape loops layered behind distorted guitars, to cold layered singing, all with a psychedelic lo-fi attitude. All songs have been remastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The jacket features an industrial photo of a man standing on an overpass with a passing truck taken by Thomasâ brother Andy Wishart in 1980. Each copy includes a two­-sided black and white postcard with liner notes by Thomas. 38 years later this is fresh UK D.I.Y. post­-punk, compelling pop with a dark heart, vacillating between the pretty disturbing and the disturbingly pretty.

It's already two years since volume one of 'Kaminari' Wow! Time flies, but things changed. For the best. Since late 2005 there was a new door open for some of today's most exciting Japanese rock n roll and garage bands to be able to showcase their music abroad. This buzz about the healthy Japanese scene even inspired other more established labels to step forward and try their luck in the Japanese camp.

Formed in London in 1977 by Mark Perry and Alex Fergusson, then editors of the punk fanzine Sniffin' Glue, Alternative TV was a post-punk group known for incorporating reggae rhythms and pushing the boundaries of the definition of punk towards the experimental and avant-garde. Their first album, The Image Has Cracked, came out originally in 1978 and is a wholly unique piece of British post-punk. Beloved by John Peel, and close confidantes of Throbbing Gristle, Alternative TV is one of the most original and beguiling groups of the era.

Raw, violent and catchy, Blitz's 1982 debut album sounded like a shot of pure rock and roll through the violence of the English working class. Made up by two punks and two skinheads, with a lot to say about violence and football, Blitz appealed to all kinds of lowlifes, who finally had a voice for their generation. This new version of the long out of print classic includes three bonus tracks (2 from the Carry On Oi! comp and one from the Total Noise comp).

Hailing from Antwerp, Belgium, the Kids formed in 1976 to prove to the world that punk was more than just a London vs New York fashion contest. Originally released on the PHILIPS label in 1978, and highly acclaimed as one of the best punk records EVER, the Kids' debut album is now available on cassette, with two bonus tracks recorded in 1977.

The Best Damn Thing is the third studio album by Avril Lavigne, originally released in 2007. The album represents a musical departure from her earlier studio album Under My Skin (MOVLP1772) which incorporates more elements of post-grunge music.
