Nude is the fourth album by the English pop band Dead or Alive. After the separation from their successful production team Stock-Aiken-Waterman band members Pete Burns and Steve Co took over the control of the ship. They created a respectable release which covers most of their highly attractive and energetic dance, pop and euro-disco music. The big hits of this release were 'Turn Around And Count 2 Ten' and 'Come Home With Me Baby', both an eclectic fusion of electronica beats and danceable rhythms. One thing that makes this album so remarkable is the fact that each song flows into the next and perfectly accompanies the previous one.

Dead or Alive gained success in the mid-1980s and sold over 50 million records worldwide. Founder and vocalist Pete Burns passed away in 2016 and since the band discontinued.

the pace is set, before 'New Moon' pins you down for a sweet Pink
Flloydian ride. 'Dos Estrellas' hits home to deliver the promise of this
outft, a blissed out subtle-as-you-like intro, coming on like a 12' indie
dub mix from the late 80's, dropping half way through for full on sunset
smiles.
The essence of Peter Green is distilled through 'Electro Blues' and
underpinned with a rubbery dustbowl bassline, vocals wash over the
breakdown in what could be the soundtrack to a weird peyote inspired
movie scene that hasn't been made yet. 'Kissing Time' sweetens
things up with a nifty melody and vocal whilst 'Moving Up Slowly'
really does as it says and notches up the bass, FX, beats and voices
for a hefty slab of midnight boogie.
'Travel' then turns up the sweatiness, with a sluggish, pounding beat,
solid throb of bass and analogue lines from a John Carpenter chase,
dark and heady, with vocals added by Benjamin James Smith from
Smith & Mudd. 'Until She Comes' brings you round nicely at the other
end of the LP with a sweet lolloping bass, choral touches, nifty beats
and a delicate hand on the guitar.

'The music on Look was not created with the intention of ever being heard,' erklärt Mills. 'In the spring
of 2017 I discovered a small collection of vintage guitar synthesizers that Roland made at the end of
the 1970's. These machines were totally unfamiliar to me but immediately intuitive and inspiring. Since
they rarely produce the same results twice, my process of learning how to play these instruments was
through recording them...Look is a document of that experience; improvisational and exploratory
music elaborated upon with the help of musicians Natalie Mering, Rob Moose, Joseph Lorge, Sam
Gendel, Matt Chamberlain, and Kane Ritchotte.'

Silk Road Assassins, a trio consisting of Tom E Vercetti, Chemist and Lovedr0id, return to Planet Mu with their debut full-length 'State Of Ruin' two years after their first EP 'Reflection Spaces'.

The trio recorded over two years, working together to start with, then across different studios and via the internet when their lives became more separated. They also finessed the album at Abbey Road studios, making use of some short time to add in extra layers.

The three producers day jobs are in production music, music designed and created specifically for film and games, and this album uses these skills to explore the musical forms that they love. The album explores how trap and grime's minimalist form can be built and curved into musical architecture: elegant, opaque and layered, turning the sound into lush, melodic world-building.

The work gone into the album is revealed on repeated listens, every sound on this record feels built to sit within it's delicate ecosystem. The fundamentals of the music are given their own sense of purpose: hand claps spray, bells tumble, guitars splinter and lush melodies waft over and fill the track's spaces like light, glinting across snapping, crisp rhythms and deep bass tones.

Reissue of a 1991 demo cd released by Clarence Séti. Multi-genre digital synth compositions possibly intended for a soundtrack. Some romper-jazz, funk, freeform minimalism, and whatever else you want to call it.

Guy & Howard explore a depth of influences across these five special tracks which draw from their love of African rhythms, deep house, disco and vocal jazz.

Family is a sometimes great, if big, notion. Hard to sustain, most often dysfunctional. At LDDLM, we do not put pressure on anyone, and certainly not ourselves. But bounds are sometimes tightened, some artists we would never consider ours, but most certainly as closed friends.

This is the 3rd EP (a house record) by Antoine Harispuru aka GOLDEN BUG but the first, excitement renewed, in company of IN FIELDS.

They push the boundaries of GB's trademark ghost funk on this EP: BONES features once again Diego Hdez for a smacked out yet epic pop number (we would not call it shoegaze). CRACKS dissolves its ethnic funk into pure psychedelia, SHAKES dubbing itself out into oblivion. All in all, 3 strong bongs. Finally FANTASTIC TWINS (Hippie Dance/Optimo/Microdosing) builds her own wall of sound, expanding BONES into a mind bending prison.

This selection of tracks from 1949 to 2004 invites its listener to discover the various directions taken by the most influential musicians of the Groupe.

Unknown Truths is the debut album from Tony Beardsley (aka Dark Strands). What can be said about this album.. for one, it is a body of work that has been crafted as a labour of love with sources of inspiration taken from the late 80's underground warehouse parties and clubs where no one speed or style of music was played.. curve balls as they say, was a good thing. Ambitious maybe.. but the only aim of the album was to actually not to have one. No one genre or concept can be applied, but this is not by design, purely accidental as the music weaves between various electronic strands and rhythm forms. Its fair to say that his music has not been compromised to follow latest trends or fashion. It is for everyone, but no one. It's only true purpose is to liberate senses and provide a lasting sonic soundtrack to the modern age.

FINE JEWELERS is the duo of Dan Helmer (solo Helmer releases on Valcrond Video and Anomia) and Matt Korvette (vocalist of Pissed Jeans). Working at dangerously high BPMs, FINE JEWELERS create neurotic industrial rave music and inhospitable gabber. This four-track debut is a techno headbanger's paradise, primed for subterranean club performance, dungeon Crossfit and outdoor bonfire parties with kids on dirtbikes. If that doesn't get you fired up, just braindance through the midnight d-beat and try again.

When recording their EP 'MKDRONE,' duo Jeannie Colleene and Gavin Neves - a/k/a HXXS - were cramped in a San Jose warehouse, sharing a wall with a porn studio. Despite their vocal takes periodically interrupted by even louder and harsher vocal takes echoing in the halls, MKDRONE came together. When prescription medication became the only reprieve for an inoperable tooth infection that had one member sliding between unbearable pain and prescription-induced euphoria, the first single 'Seppuku,' the historical Japanese term for suicide by disembowelment, came to fruition. But similar to life with no health insurance and recording music wedged in the walls of a porn studio, HXXS live somewhere between the uncomfortable and the alluring.

Their live show, which consists of any hardware they can get their hands on - drum machines, synthesizers, samplers - is built on loops, making the songs feverish and at times deliberately frenzied to a point of anxiety. However the duo anesthetize this angst with more subdued nods to electronic and post-punk acts of the 80's, 90's, 00's and Present. While their music is undeniably erotic - a tip of the hat to their vocal San Jose neighbours - the EP is what happens when your intrigue with pop culture media and conspiracy theories from the 60's to present turns obsession. 'Pop Espontáneo' includes a selection of previously unreleased recordings by Joern and Dirk Wenger's duo JODI, registered at their state-of the-art 8-track home studio in Asunción, Paraguay. Living in their own isolated world and free from any commercial pressure, Joern Wenger, a kind of Paraguayan Brian Wilson or R. Stevie Moore, created a particular, ahead of its time sound, using electric guitars, fuzz boxes, Moog, Mellotron, Clavinet, Farfisa...

In 2016, we unearthed and reissued the first Jodi album, "Pops de Vanguardia", which is probably the first DIY lo-fi garage / psychedelic album from South America, originally released in 1971. Now, we're over the moon with this incredible collection of unreleased recordings which were hidden in Joern Wenger's basement for several decades.

The Expanding Universe is the 1980 debut album by computer music pioneer Laurie Spiegel. The original album is reissued here as a massively expanded 3LP/2CD set, all four original album tracks plus an additional 15 tracks from the same time period, nearly all previously unreleased and many making their first appearance on vinyl in this brand new edition. Since this album's first reissue in 2012, it has gone on to be widely established as a classic of 20th century electronic music. Some of the well-loved works included in this set are "Patchwork", the "Appalachian Grove" series, 'East River Dawn' and "Kepler's Harmony of the Worlds", which was included on the Golden Record launched on board the Voyager spacecraft. The pieces comprising The Expanding Universe combine slowly evolving textures with the emotional richness of intricate counterpoint, harmony, and complex rhythms (John Fahey and J. S. Bach are both cited as major influences in the original cover's notes), all built of electronic sounds using the GROOVE system at Bell Laboratories during the 1970s. The 3LP vinyl edition was cut by Rashad Becker at Dubplates and Mastering, Berlin.
