An Easter egg is the track "Karen's Theme" by Richard Carpenter, who dedicated this song to Karen after her tragical death in 1983.

Producing a distinctively soft musical style, they became one of the best-selling music artists of all time. During their 14-year career, the Carpenters recorded 11 albums, 31 singles, five television specials, and a short-lived television series.

The Carpenters had three No. 1 singles and five No. 2 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and fifteen No. 1 hits on the Adult Contemporary chart. In addition, they had twelve top 10 singles. To date, the Carpenters' album and single sales total more than 100 million units.

Renowned for their trademark indie guitar sound and distinctive Celtic tinged lilting vocal style, The Cranberries rise to global fame in the early-90s was nothing short of meteoric. Despite having completed their debut for Columbia just weeks earlier, in August 1970 Cedric Smith, Richard Keelan, Michael Butler and other Conspirators recorded another album, exclusively for Canadian radio broadcast. For it they'd assembled a fine batch of new material, as well as striking arrangements of songs by Bob Dylan, Donovan and Smokey Robinson. Warm, atmospheric, and slightly mystical, it's re-issued on LP for the first time here, together with a large-format booklet including a detailed group history and previously unseen images. It also comes with a reproduction of a vintage flier.

I've Got My Own Album To Do is the first solo album by Ron Wood, released in September 1974. An all-star project recorded outside of his activities with the Faces, the title was a dig at Rod Stewart, who appeared to be more committed to his solo career than to working with the Faces. Wood has said that the album title originated from contributors such as George Harrison and Mick Jagger 'nagging me to let them go home' and finish their own projects. During this period, Wood assisted Jagger in writing and recording the Rolling Stones' 1974 single 'It's Only Rock 'n Roll', while Jagger reciprocated by helping Wood with this album's opening track, 'I Can Feel the Fire'. Keith Richards was another participant at the sessions, in addition to performing concerts in London with Wood to promote the release. Wood's collaboration with Harrison, 'Far East Man', was re-recorded by Harrison and appeared on the former Beatle's Dark Horse album three months after the release of I've Got My Own Album To Do. Other musicians on the record include Rod Stewart, fellow Faces Ian McLagan and Kenney Jones, Mick Taylor of the Rolling Stones, and the all-American rhythm section of Willie Weeks and Andy Newmark.

The American rock band Winger formed in 1987 and they released their third studio album Pull in 1993. Their music changed from the glam metal to a more aggressive and darker musical style. The political messages in the lyrics brought both their music and vocals to a higher level. The clean production and melodic changes leans towards the progressive rock/metal. All the characteristics of the guitar driven sound keeps songs like "Down Incognito" and the groovy "Blind Revolution Mad" in tone. Their absolute masterpiece "Who's the One" is the last track and is an acoustic ballad of the best kind. The 50 minutes of pure power of their sound did eventually lead to their break-up, but gladly they reunited and continued making great albums.

Winger could be categorized as one of the many bands who stepped into the last wave of the glam metal scene. Compared to many others they showed their true skills by evolving to a band which created clever melodies and clean vocals in their hard rock sound. After two break-ups they're back on the track again since 2006. They still show their true power by performing worldwide.

'I knew I was ready for a change.' Says Emma Tricca of the direction on her latest album, St Peter. Even when she was making 2014's Relic, the seeds were already being sewn for where she would and what would crop up next. 'I seem to start thinking about the next record half way through recording whatever I'm recording; it's a never-ending process. I constantly think about lines, poems, melodies. I carry a notepad with me at all times.'

As someone who has spent the years since her last record travelling between London, Rome and New York, it works to Tricca's advantage that she's able to respond whenever inspiration strikes. Songs for this album were penned in Soho cafes, Pigneto apartments and Bushwick lofts. 'I guess I seem to follow the inspiration when it comes, ' she says. 'Often the songs are sparked by everyday life images.' If this conjures up the image of the life of a travelling poet soaking up life and all its offerings, then that's not too far off the mark as poetry is a significant inspiration for Tricca . '1950s beat poetry, the Celtic Twilight movement and the Hermeticism movement are amongst my biggest influences.' she says.

If the album is formed together by countless everyday images and experiences from an artist who is creatively alert at all times, then it was carried over the finish line by an equally vast and eclectic number of musicians. Sonic Youth's Steve Shelley is on drums, Pete Calub on bass, The Dream Syndicate's Jason Victor on guitar (amongst other instruments) and various guest performances come from the likes of Howe Gelb, Paper Dollhouse's Astrud Steehouder and folk icon Judy Collins. Collins, who loved Tricca's 2009 record Minor White (released on Jane Weaver's record label Bird) and got in touch, was an especially big deal for Tricca. 'I literally learned to play fingerpicking watching old footage of Judy playing that I had taped when I first started getting into that kind of guitar sound. I had burnt a hole in that tape I was rewinding and fast forwarding it so much.'

The bulk of the album was recorded in Hoboken, New Jersey. 'It was magical really, a dream studio,' Tricca recalls. 'A big live room with the best gear ever and amazing musicians to work with. We had fun, there never was a tense moment and it felt we were just working together at service of the songs - no ego involved.' Whilst Tricca went into the recording knowing what she wanted the album to sound like - 'The Velvet Underground meets Fairport Convention' she told Steve Shelley over Vietnamese food one night - the end result is something much richer and far expansive than perhaps even Tricca herself could have hoped for.

Electric guitars fizz away like a controlled electricity, Tricca's guitar playing flows gracefully at the core with her vocals existing in the perfect state between slight rasp and caramel-smoothness. Shelley's drumming and percussion gives a steady heartbeat to the record which is further brought to life by a variety of deft instrumentation, including piano, bass, cello, violin, glockenspiel and of course the variety of guest backing vocalists.

Whilst St Peter's deep-seated roots can perhaps be traced to traditional folk music, its finished existence feels far from such a thing - its ever-flowing essence skipping through genres, tones, paces and rhythms with a gliding grace. Perhaps even a touch of the spirit of Hoboken's own Yo La Tengo has seeped into the finish record in its quiet yet stirring beauty.

Pink Floyd re-release their 1971 compilation album 'RELICS' on heavyweight 180-gram vinyl. Remastered in 2018 by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman. This re-release comes almost 50 years since the original pressing.

'RELICS', Pink Floyd's first 'compilation' album, includes singles, B-sides, tracks from their first three albums 'The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn', 'A Saucerful of Secrets' and 'More'. Also, the then-previously unreleased Roger Waters song, Biding My Time, recorded in July 1969 and first released on 'Relics' in May 1971. 'Relics' was the first album to include Arnold Layne and See Emily Play, which previously had only been released as singles, and the original studio recording of Careful with That Axe, Eugene, the B-side of Point Me At The Sky in 1968.

Keeping true to the original artwork, the sleeve features the black and white drawings by Nick Mason, carrying the iconic subtitle 'A Bizarre Collection of Antiques & Curios'. All tracks are the original stereo versions, which sit alongside the Syd Barrett-era, mono mixed singles Arnold Layne and See Emily Play.

Pink Floyd re-release their 1995 UK Number 1 live album 'PULSE', pressed on heavyweight 180-gram vinyl.

'PULSE' was compiled by James Guthrie, using various performances from the band's 1994 Division Bell tour across the UK and Europe featuring David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright. The album includes 'The Dark Side of the Moon' performed in full, as well as a whole side dedicated to the show's encore.

The 4-LP set includes four different inner sleeves, each inside individual outer sleeves, plus a 52-page hardback photo book, all encased in a thick card slipcase.

This 2018 release was remastered from the original tapes by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman. Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis and Peter Curzon, who worked on the original art with the late Hipgnosis co-founder, Storm Thorgerson, recreated the art package.
