ROD is a new artist for Afterlife Recordings and ‘Brighten Up Bunny’ is another high-quality entry in Benny Rodrigues’ acclaimed discography.

Monaberry’s label boss, good old Herb, is back in business. The House multi-talent curates the latest Mona compilation – Herberts Best #8. Famous Monaberry artists and new faces from all over the world follow his call and deliver exquisite productions to grandpa Herbert.

Tim Engelhardt’s contribution “Skin” is a deep hitting symphony of a cineastic atmosphere, rolling drums, crystal clear luminescent synths and captivating arpeggios. Mi.li.an’s vocals enchantingly highlight the track’s vibrant beat and the analog drive finally flows into bubbly extasy.

Just right after the release of his latest track on Monaberry Sobek pleases grandpa Herbert with “Camerlengo” – a gently evolving and hypnotically dragging track with some smacking groove that wraps around the floating framework and tickles your senses all at once.

Armonica, the charismatic duo from the dephts of Italy, put a mad peaktime track on the table. “Time” is just bursting with slightly dark synths and FXs. The energizing bass line and the vocals reduced to the essentials are literally pushing this track onto the global stage.

Another track is delivered by Sonic Future from Porto Alegre, Brazil. His artwork “Pontilismo” is full of vigorous rhythm, crisp synth variations and minimal 80ies flair that will knock your socks off. Especially the filter modulated chords carry you away to Alpha Centauri and fuse together with the beat into an embracing sound.

Luis Junior brings “Go Gech” into play, a rotating Detroit UFO made of technoid ruthlessness and deep groove. He successfully blends dramatic synth chords, vocal snippets, and striking FXs into a continuous storyboard with a break that will make your endorphins dance and pleases with a lovingly staged happy end.



Italian stallion Ivan Masa uses Afro House elements and sprinkles some melodic parts and softly playful groove to build the sound frame of “Nativity”. Dense spaces and percussions merge into an ethno inspired work of art that will flow straight into your body and soul.

Ikarius & Dhakka join with “Salvation”, a hypnotic production that catapults the audience into a next dimension with opulent synth chords and effects, crunchy claps and subtle toms. The track composition is indeed psychedelic and a powerful tool.

Ultimately, a compilation like this can only be brought into being by good old Herb himself. We bow to his wisdom and cannot wait for these seven gorgeous pieces.

RSS Disco have created a psychedelic, blissful jam that moves currents & constantly changes shape. Meandering voices inhabit the sphere, a pumping bassline secures the foundation. The warp core is frail at this power level but seems to be holding up.
Frequencies unravel, the bridge heats up. This must be fairy dust made of moon rocks.
On the dark side of the moon, we find ?Aera (Permanent Vacation, Innervisions) ?with his signature arp-fest. Elevating the original track form the surface to the stars, we have left home and there is no intention of ever coming back.

We ring in the new decade with our first release of the year from none other than KÖLSCH. Many have been waiting for new music from his studio and the results are stunning. Let’s start off with “Shoulder Of Giants” – a string indebted affair that carries his signature style in a gorgeous, introspective means that won’t disappoint long-time fans. “Glypto” tells a different story – high volume percussion lead a choral chant into a superbly catchy, shrilling synth as KÖLSCH demonstrates his masterful sense of restraint and pure dancefloor liberation throughout. Part four of Hivern Discs' Fragments compilation. While compilations tend to look backwards, 'Fragments' is far from being a retrospective. Since its launch in 2008, Hivern Discs has favoured a documentary approach, capturing the most vital and exciting sounds within its orbit at each particular moment. In keeping with the ethos of the label, this extensive compilation, comprising 29 new tracks across six 12?s, offers a panoramic glimpse of Hivern's present and gives indications as to its near future. The artists featured comprise both fresh and familiar faces; some of them have been a foundational presence since the beginning (John Talabot, Pional, Marc Pinol), others are recent acquaintances (Epsilove, Fantastic Man, Inga Mauer, Samo DJ). Together the compilation makes for a snapshot of Hivern's current identity, with a wide array of names and projects connecting the dots between the sounds, moods and ideas that continue to inspire and move the label today. Hivern was born a decade ago as a platform to celebrate a shared sensibility beyond any semblance of categorization. And that's what this collection of music is all about.

The friendly voice behind the longstanding Beats In Space radio show and a formidable DJ to dance floors around the world, the ...In Space series, like the rest of the label's eclectic catalog, is testament to Tim's trust in the selector and vice versa.

John Talabot and Pional bring back their Lost Scripts project to start a series of 12" with some of the jams the duo has been recording during these past years between Barcelona, Madrid and Giske. The release comes housed in a sleeve by Arnau Pi.

It’s been a year since the Adana Twins conceived their label TAU. In that time they have successfully signed and released a slew of tracks that have captured the imaginations of influential selectors and dancefloor lovers alike. To celebrate their first anniversary, and all the success it has brought them, the Adana Twins take charge of their label’s 10th release with a three-tracker full of high quality, melodic electronica aimed straight at the floor. Kicking off with D.J.A.M.H. the duo get straight into it with a stirring analogue bassline that pulsates with dark intent. Gentle pads envelop the low end, counteracting the darkness with a lighter atmosphere. An extended breakdown, punctuated by Ridoutt’s spoken word vocal ushers in the dramatic main body of the track. The bass is modulated and warped, the pads become eerie and drum rolls heighten the tension. A second breakdown pushes the energy levels higher as a contagious melody joins the fray and we’re transported out of our bodies into an unknown realm. Next up is ‘Maya’, which hits hard from the outset with its jabbing beats. A wistful, melancholy melody sweeps across the chunky drum patterns, touching our hearts with its sorrowful tune. The main riff comes in after a couple of minutes, adding more emotion to the sombre narrative. This is a cut that will move the dancefloor physically and emotionally, encouraging contemplation and perhaps some nostalgia. Lastly, ‘Spaceman’ turns things gnarly with its grumbling b-line and slapfunk beats. As per usual the Adana Twins create a magical melody that prances above the low end enchanting the listener and whisking them away to a dreamland. Meanwhile the snarling bass maintains its belligerent flow, advancing with malicious intent. A kooky breakdown lightens the mood before we’re immersed in another wonderful blend of rugged bass and playful melody. Clearly in celebratory mood, the Twins deliver an outstanding EP as they hit TAU’s first anniversary. A fitting release for a label that is going from
strength to strength.

Watergate favourites Frankey & Sandrino make a timely debut on the club’s imprint, with a classy remix by Tiefschwarz in toe.
If you’ve found yourself at the Oberbaumbrücke institution on a Thursday in recent years, chances are Frankey & Sandrino were responsible for the soundtrack. The pair of Sandrino Tittel and Frank Beckers have captained the Thursdate residency since 2018, serving up a beguiling blend of deep grooves and twinkling chords progressions.
The four-track ‘Nova’ EP is the embodiment of this immersive sonic palette. ‘Chimes’ is built around a strong melodic lead that rises and falls throughout the lustrous seven-minute cut, as lilting pads and delicate drums patterns complete the work. The title track follows on, a delicious exploration into the deep, as subtle acid lines rub shoulders with meandering synths to build a masterful snake-like groove.
Tiefschwarz’s remix of ‘Chimes’ brings heat to the package as the original is imbued with a muscular
percussive heartbeat. ‘Black Hole’ is a sweeping composition made for the after-hours as a searing lowend synth is juxtaposed with an effervescent melody line to create an atmosphere-heavy finale

On their debut album as DOVS, Tin Man and AAAA summon the ethereal spirit of acid. Tin Man, AKA Johannes Auvinen, has been studying the emotional potential of the Roland TB-303 for 15 years now, and AAAA (Gabo Barranco), a fixture of the Mexico City underground, might as well be his acolyte. While the coincidental similarities of their studio and live approaches make this collaboration feel natural, even expected, Silent Cities is anything but. Acid Test 14 features remixes from select trackboth Tin Man & AAAA individually as well as label mate John Tejada.

Correspondant welcome V, the once-mysterious man behind now-legendary head-turners on Cin Cin, Nautilus Rising and his own Le Temps Perdu. Since revealing himself to be Lithuanian veteran Vidmantas Cepkauskas at last year's Boiler Room Vilinius - at Club Opium, the famed Lithuanian underground haven he programs - he has continued to flourish and innovate... And he promises plenty more in store for 2018. It starts right here with 'Numeros'. A triple-headed technoid narrative of many layers; '1995' immerses us gently with a palpitating bedrock that's delicately built up with humanised textures and oceanic chords, '2001' uses the physical thrust of sprightly EBM motifs to drive us into the bleak new century while '2017' kicks with a pneumatic drive and a dizzying chain of chimes and harmonics that whisks us through the rave ages while looking firmly and defiantly into the future.... Where a fittingly rattled, dramatic and dynamic Fabrizio Mammarella remix awaits.

The time has come for the third and final release of exclusive cuts from the Adana Twins mix compilation. Kicking things off is Aaaron's 'Muir' where organic grooves lay the groundwork for ethereal melodies and sinister vocal calls before Adana Twins 'Ocelotes' picks up the pace as powerful percussives oppose robust sonic displays of emotion.

Following suit of the previous track, Andre Hommen steps up next and delivers a vigorous journey where an unrelenting arpeggio drives forward at high velocity creating a wild and impassioned ride before Daniel Bortz and Sascha Sibler's 'Yuppie' draws back the intensity level to deeper, dub infused territories where groove is paramount.

'Gazebo' from Human Machine picks up the energy level once again as hi pace drums and rapid fire melodies culminate in a fever pitch of dance floor antics before Kadosh & Yost Koen's 'Dunkellila' dives back into celestial territories as a ghostly lead winds eerily into oblivion.

Rounding out the end of the release is Kintar & BOg's 'Tribelune' where melodic percussion and lush sonics traverse a path deep into emotional sector's before Upercent's 'La Lluita' finalizes the release with an exquisite array of sonics laid over an engaging broken beat rhythm resulting in a lullaby-esque dreamscape of gorgeous harmonies.

And for the vinyl connoisseurs Aaaron, Adana Twins, Human Machine, and Andre Hommen will be available via vinyl while the rest will be digital only. Enjoy!

Fall is the result of Mono.Noise label head Daniele Di Martino and Second State artist Rocko Garoni. They have created a Techno anthem with straight drums, lots of acid and a striking melody which is made for intense nights. Second track is a hypnotic vocal mix of the original together with singer LoraUte - make sure not to get lost while listening. First remix is coming from Martin Eyerer and he is proofing once again that he understands how Techno works - absolute rave track. Matthias Schuell is known for his uncompromising Melodic Techno but this time he is giving us a different side of him. He produced a percussive Electronica remix with a constant progression and perfect arranged dramaturgy.

'TANZBAR WHITE' kicks off with a various artists EP, Upcoming Belgian duo Pelace delivers the heat on the A-side with two house jams, perfectly fit for those old school house sessions in forgotten basements. ... On the flip, we find Huygens (a.k.a Kiani & His Legion a.k.a. Far Out Radio Systems) with two long awaited early trance tracks.

The latest release on microcastle welcomes Brian Cid back to the label for a brand new EP. The US artist last appeared on the Canadian imprint a year ago with his well received 'Belles Du Shaman' EP. Three diverse and uniquely organic productions along with a remix from Eagles & Butterflies saw the release reach #1 in Beatport's Electronica and Progressive House charts, while placing #4 in their overall Top 100. A subsequent release on Manjumasi, along with a stunning EP on his Endangered imprint saw Brian's music played and supported by Adriatique, Tale Of Us, Lee Burridge, John Digweed, Henry Saiz, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Joris Voorn. His Theory Of Light project with Holmar Filipsson from Thugfucker debuted with two remixes for Cityfox while a solo EP is due on the label later this year. Now making his much anticipated return to microcastle Brian presents his three track artist showcase 'Pluto', alongside a remix from Marvin & Guy.

Julius is finally back on his own home Smallville with Along The Coast- it's the first solo 12' since his mesmerizing Flocking Behaviour album in 2014. After remixes for Telfort and Lerosa recently, a 12' together with moomin on his Closer label and some Smallpeople material last year plus a surprising non-electronic album with his band-project Tonight Will Be Fine (together with Abdeslam Hammouda) on Japanese label Mule Musiq, Julius is now back on his own imprint, delivering 3 deep cuts for the dancefloor. Next to running the Smallville record-store and -label, Julius started his own club-night and accompanied stamp-label Down By The Lake (catalogue number 03 is out now) in Freiburg, plus hosting the Smallville & Friends thursday at legendary Golden Pudel Club in Hamburg every month as a Smallpeople residency together with Just von Ahlefeld. They also put out record no. 5 on Smallville-offshoot Fuck Reality recently. Watch out for more good things to come this summer.. Trading Places is what happens when three talented producers from different parts of the globe come together in Throne of Blood’s Brooklyn studio. Long time friends Moscoman (Disco Halal), Max Pask (Throne of Blood/Crodwspacer/DeeWee) and NYC legend Justin Strauss have built upon years of hanging out in New York and Berlin to form a loose, improvisational partnership. Recorded whenever Moscoman found himself in NYC and supplemented by sessions from frequent collaborators Strauss and Pask, Trading Places transforms a handful of days jamming together into one of Throne of Blood’s finest releases. It’s also the label’s first formal collaboration with Disco Halal, a one-off partnership similar to previous releases with Monty Luke’s Black Catalogue and Adam Marshall’s New Kanada.

Opening the EP, the haunting and percussive “Submission” features vocals from The Golden Filter and is backed by a special Moscoman remix.

“Elevated” takes a turn for the cosmic with its feet planted firmly in the club, and the EP closes with the epic slow burner, “Trading Places.

Chilean DJ/Producer Demian Muller finally returns to 8bit after a 5 years break. After countless productions with other artists (on Cadenza, Circus Recordings, Dechapter...) this is one of his very few solo releases.

So let's release the beast.

After a two year break, Watergate Affairs comes strong with the third installment of the popular
series, this time focusing on unearthing talent from outside the crew’s immediate circle.
A superb quintuplet of cuts marks its return. Danish duo Baime contribute the glistening ‘Majka’ that
entrances with a beguiling mix of cosmic synths and ethnic scales.
Tel Aviv’s Kadosh returns to the label after featuring on the Adana Twins’ ‘Watergate 25’ compilation last
year. His track is the seductive ‘Better Days’, a beautiful piano-led piece that stands apart thanks to the
artist’s deft arrangement skills, having played the keys since he was 12.
Buenos Aires born, Ibiza-based Kintar drops the evocative ‘Paradisou’, that builds with bass stabs, an
exotic vocal line and swirling pads for a dancefloor-ready finish.
The perky ‘Lucero Del Alma’ rounds out the pack, the label debut from Kevin Di Serna. The Argentine,
who’s released quality material on Innervisions, Endless and Lost & Found crafts a hypnotic house cut
primed for late night moments.

Opening the record are PIN UP CLUB with ' Dilapidated '
The band was approached enthusiastically by Mireia Records' label heads RSS DISCO last year afterlistening to their first record 'Friends Of The Vortex' on Bordello A Parigi and seeing their live show on a dutch festival. Everyone was on the same page (of the book about Italo Disco's legacy) quickly, music was exchanged, and the fruits of this likeminded partnership can finally be heard out loud.
'Dilapidated' takes you from a state of pondering into the spiral of a fever's dream and back. Melancholic pads are balanced with an infectious bassline on the foundation of hard-hitting drums.
Two remixes deconstruct the original track for different parts of the night on the dancefloor: LAUER (Running Back, Permanent Vacation) recruits cow-bells, sirens and ... power to his arsenal and thereby shoots the song towards the sweaty ceiling of your neighborhoods basement rave. His knack for melodies and euphoria is widely known but he really manages to knock you out of the park with this one.
RSS DISCO channel the original track in to a psychedelic journey with a distinctive Italo feeling. A frayed lead melody interwoven with moist Oberheim chords and backed up by old-schoolish drums and a classic arpeggiated Juno Bassline ignite neon lights and incense at the same time.
On the flipside CONGA FEVER is bopping you deep into the thicket, accompanied by his ' Chihuahua '. Whirring synths, striding drums, and a bassline heavy as the setting sun make up this groover. The song feels moody and balearic, accentuated with strings in an arabian tuning, yet it's decidedly FUN and danceable. Conga Fever, who already had a solo EP and a contribution to the ' We'll Sea ' series on Mireia Records, impresses with music that sounds effortlessly thick and interwoven - surely achieved by playing all instruments himself and a keen ear on every frequency.
The remixer of this side is Jacob Korn (Uncanny Valley) who jokingly referred to his mix as the 'teutonic approach'. The incense has burned out, making space for a new-beat-esque groove, reflecting the cold neon. The bassline and chords still flutter playfully but make no mistake, it's a straight call to the dancefloor.

The mighty Philomena is back.

Multinotes is a record label created by Lehar, Musumeci and Olderic and it is open to anyone ready to expose their very own
musical point of view. This is not a "family", this is a private club for modern, open minded people ready to challange themselves and
the rules of unknown. Multinotes first release it comes from the italian close friend and long time producer Enzo Elia which
delivered an intense three tracker ep written together with his mate Gianluca Tavaroli (IMGL).

TB is the alias of Permanent Vacation label co-head Tom Bioly. His releases as TB so far
are "Invitation To Love" on John Talabot's Hiverned 10" imprint (was voted amongst the best
10" releases by UK Fact magazine), and "City Girl" on Permanent Vacation, of which
German Groove magazine wrote "..entirely superb..".

"Heartbreak Hotel" is a double twelve-inch release with eight tracks of melancholic dance noir
set in smoke-filled darkness. Acid bobbles, distorted strings and echoed guitars are mangled
and layered on machine beats and disco drums.

Widely acclaimed DJ and producer Kölsch has delivered the release of his brand-new single 'The Lights', a collaborative production made alongside dance heavyweight Sasha. Set for release on Kölsch's IPSO label, the track - a cleverly crafted progressive embodiment of both artist's signature styles - follows the imprint's previous records 'Dogma' and Tiga collaboration 'HAL'. Already supported by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1's rave lounge, 'The Lights' solidifies IPSO's reputation as one of dance music's leading labels, with the Dane expanding the brand to Miami, Watergate Berlin, and Amsterdam Dance Event last year. Kölsch also recently performed two sold out IPSO shows to 8,000 people in Antwerp, playing two extended 10 hour sets on consecutive nights at Belgian venue Waagnatie. Roping in the talents of 'Last Night On Earth' label founder Sasha, the DJ and producer's imprint recently celebrated the landmark of 100 releases with a special debut compilation. Releasing records on Kompakt, Late Night Tales, and Watergate, Sasha also mixed last year's fabric 99 compilation and recently launched his La Fleur collaboration 'Förbindelse' on LNOE. Proving his skills outside of the studio as well as in it, the dynamic DJ - who has amassed a reputation as a true figurehead of the Ibiza scene, performing at the likes of DC-10 and Privilege - will perform upcoming sets at Motion Bristol, Vujyaday Festival, a forthcoming US tour, and a 3-date Easter schedule around the UK with John Digweed. Well known for his genre-defining cuts, Kölsch has sold millions of records all over the world under his many different monikers, including seminal LP '1977' and his widely acclaimed albums '1983' & '1989', with the latter including the anthem 'Grey'. Labelled as 'The king when it comes to piano and house music' by Annie Mac, Kölsch looks set for another busy summer this year with performances lined up at the likes of Printworks London, DGTL Amsterdam, Awakenings Festival, Sonus and Creamfields.

Release #4 on Verdicchio Music Publishing arrives close behind pop driven single "All I Need" in contrasting fashion. Sliding away from robust stabs, and immodest piano hooks, "Sofware" is more genial. While warm, sustained chords blend with tearjerking melodic accents, no specific element takes the lead; the title track is a communal venture. "Dead Channel" follows along similarly, with a timid warble at its core. Halfway through, the harmony seems to all fall apart, but the groove continues and the melody sings to the finish. The B side fades in with a beat-absent number featuring wafts of phased out strings and a sporadic melody that bends and shrieks, all twisted up by a dying Vestax delay. Starting calm, "Scroll Up" moves through waves of soft pads, juggled percussion and digital organ, into a sea of weighty sub and synthetic keys, swiftly followed by a crescendo of progressive stabs and wailing vocals.... not to give it all away. This record was made in a windowless room at the top of Montreal's Saint Hubert Plaza.

Exactly one year after their sold-out debut album Zest, Die Orangen (aka Dreems & Kris Baha) are zurück! Malka Tuti and Die Orangen have concocted a double dish, a two part remix package, Saft 1 & Saft 2.

The first part consists of a new live version of the track Yaranabe, recorded in a live session as part of the Duo's infamous analogue live act. A2 is Tapan's remix of Metal Man. The poem-not-poem is taking shape as a low bpm banger when Tapan's heavy signature kick meets those trippy vocals. This is Tapan's first track to be made after finishing their debut Album last year on MT, and its an interesting evolution of their sound, slow dark and punchy, yet with these vocals and bassline, also a catchy post-pop track for the later hours.

On the B-side lies Gordon Pohl's reimagination of Mersey River (aka 'the Platypus track'). The tracks 'epic", long slow ambient opening and evolution into rhythm resembles in many ways the psychedelic collaboration works of the late Pete Namlook & Move D on Namlooks own Fax records, which was always a significant influence on the Malka Tuti world.

It was about time for a full album to be released by one of our favourite 030303 artists, the great Rolando Simmons, who's already fed us some amazing eerie and psychedelic bouncy electronic funk, both self released and on this magical label from the Netherlands. This record travels deep into the melancholic mind of the producer and on a wide variety of levels. Opening track Natron gets you right away with an unusual mix of comforting and uneasy atmospheric acid-electro. Dew then, is so touching it hurts - in a classic IDM way that is, with plenty of meandering melodies falling over each other; nothing short of epic this one. Hydrogen Line shows yet another very different side of Simmons, one where fierce, dark and heavy Drexciyan techno/electro vibes reign over your speakers. The heaviest raver on the record is probably Langelo, with the listener being slapped around by sharp, heavy bass wobbles and hard hitting snares, not one for the office! Lastly, closing track Smiley Face is likely to make you grin in a cross eyed kind of way with its intense, synth-heavy and mind bending vibes. Human Touch is an allround, 12 track treat for every braindance fan on the planet. Big tip!

It's that time of year again when Cocoon Recordings goes into overdrive with the next installment of their legendary compilation series. Incredibly, it's already reached the letter 'S' and just like anything of vintage, the passing of time steadily enhances both the depth and the quality. As always the album brings together some of the most relevant artists of the moment, while the vibe is driven by Cocoon's trusted formula of organic electronics.

Love Over Entropy gets the ball rolling with "As If", offering up smooth, mediterranean vibes designed to stimulate heart-felt communication. It's an open invitation to leave your troubles at the door, exorcise the ghosts of everyday life and return to the source. Stimming's "The Gift That Never Stops To Give" continues in a low slung, tribal vein peppered with jazzed out, tubular percussion as the psychedelics gently take hold. Abstract echoes abound and peripheral effects disorientate around an exquisite hook line found gliding over sun drenched shores. John Talabot and Axel Boman aka Talaboman not only win the most bombastic track name of the year competition, but do a good job living up to it on "Big Room Anthemic Groovy Pounding Trance Dub Bomb. Superb! " The extended intro delivers a heightened sense of anticipation, as gentle bleeps, angular trance riffs and weird frequency occilations toast the synapses.

Emanuele Satie's "Planet XXX" is a perfectly balanced tech house groover, climaxing with an ecstatic breakdown primed to generate an explosion on the dancefloor. "End Days" from Edward then ups the ante with a metallic, New Beat vibe that swamps us in wild analogue noise before the deep brooding pads take over. The abstract, discordant central theme also confirms that we are leaving the warmth and security of the compilation's opening section for darker territories. Analogue squiggles dominate the opening exchanges on Florian Hollerith's "KURZVOR12" as the soundsystem starts pounding relentlessly into the early hours. A strong head is certainly required under pressure from the hypnotic, rasping synth lines.

Raxon gets things rolling on "The Turbulent" with electric hihats snaking through a dense mesh of banging snares that accompany a morphing acid line that seems to ricochet off the walls of some cavernous pressure chamber. "Jaded" then takes us into the realms of full-on industrial techno as Mark Broom transports us back to the genre's mid 90s heyday. Egbert ramps up the distortion on "Tering" with a flapping sub bass, played out across heavenly vox pads and acid washes. The dream like, retro sci-fi motif makes it one of the stand out tracks due to the fusion of a relentless battery of drums with a crystalline beauty.

As we enter the final straight, "Keep Changing Basslines" from Italian maestro Dino Lenny journeys deeper still, before it unfurls to reveal a myriad of arpeggiating synth and bass lines as the vocal sample of the title suggests. Deep, thoughtful and intelligent, there's also a hint of retro rave culture thrown in for good measure. Neil Landstrumm then takes us to Casio heaven on "Flesh Is A Prison", utilizing crisp sound that carries a laser-guided sting in the tail before Red Axes close things out with "Hevk". A long, spacey intro and more razor-edged riffs that morph and stutter perfectly encapsulate everything that has gone before.

Brimming with timeless melodies, rampaging beats and pressed on eye-catching yellow vinyl, Cocoon's Compilation 'S' effortlessly spans a broad spectrum of contemporary dance music from both veterans and relative fresh talents to the scene. Like a snake constantly shedding its skin, it's reassuring that in 2019 the genre is still mutating and reinventing itself and above all, has so much more to offer. One of the best Cocoon Compilations without a doubt.
