Boot & Tax return with their second EP following the success of the sold out 'Acido' EP which received a multitude of plays from a plethora of djs in a profusion of discotheques.

These Milanese maestros deliver four dance floor delights in their own inimitable and distinctive style. Working across a range of tempos and incorporating more of Boot's great vocalising they also manage to weave a Jaw's Harp solo in there and make it seem like a potential replacement for the TB 303.

This also takes us to 50% of Optimo Trax so far being of Italian origin. We're not entirely sure how this happened but despite rumours to the contrary, we are open to releasing music from other countries within or outwith the EU.

After the infinite arpeggios of Mattheis and the drum drive of Oceanic, the third installment on Nous'Klaer holds the middle right in between them. For this remix EP Mattheis and Oceanic exchanged tracks, and both came up with a new take on each other's work. Oceanic turns Blablavism up and strips it down to a welcome version for club play. Mattheis his version of Hidden Bero counts as a live kraut cover, barely using anything of the original, despite its mantric power. The result sounds like a mix of Steve Moore's analog trance, Andrew Weatherall's outer space DJ sets and cosmic Arabic synth music.

together with his buddy dj kent the japanese producer and ardent record collector kza already wrote some music history. under the name force of nature the two friends from tokyo created a rich oeuvre of not dated music under the guidance of their large vinyl collection.

beside their own work they produced and remixed in and outside of japan artists such as dj shadow, five deez, sly mongoose, or keiichi sokabe.

in the last years force of nature been quite in terms of collective production work. kza, who once started his music career as a dj for hiphop, soul and funk, released a solo album and a string of highly acclaimed 12inches on endless flight while dj kent emerged with his own unique sound and musical style to one of the most highly respected djs of japan.

now kza is ready to release his second solo longplayer - dig & edit 2' - an album whose title tells much about the production of itself. like for the antecessor - dig & edit ' a voluminous record collection and the ears of an unlimited music lover has helped kza to shape his unique sample based arrangements.

anew he went through his vinyl library between midnight and morning searching for miscellaneous rhythms, harmonies, and melodies that he could turn into something fresh, new, and singular. as he is in love with loops and trained his ears by the work of sample grandmasters like pete rock, large professor, or marley marl he knows exactly where to cut and edit - a skill that makes his music never sound like a conventional edit production.

with plenty of studio artifice, the help of his friend kuniyuki, and some super tight editional bass and rhythm programming that has been added to the original sources he produced tracks that gently balance between breezy disco fever, laidback balearian slowmo emotions, and highflying house attacks.

each of them is full of sensual grooves and is charged with catchy folk, rock, disco, or library samples who's origin can be only deciphered by those who dig records as deep as kza does.

of course, all listeners who aren't into record digging will have plenty of pleasure too. because it is not necessary to know which mysterios source kza used. one can easily be carried away by his

Connie is a long lost cousin of Lonnie. He's the mean incarnation of Principles Of Geometry, fierce and twisted. Disco Bucuresti is an audio homage to Romania's capital, Bucharest. Growing up between the city's communist blocks of flats and maturing in the city's underground discos left a distinct creative mark on Andrei Idu (The Legendary 1979 Orchestra). Ever since leaving Bucharest for Amsterdam, Andrei felt the need to tribute the place that shaped him. However, it was only until recently that he found the means necessary to express the feelings he felt. Thus, records released during the 70s and 80s in Romania as sole sample source, analog drum machines, delays, filters and reverbs, all recorded in live takes come together in this evocative EP.

ORKA is a Faroese act based in London. When ORKA started they began with building their own instruments out of agricultural tools on a small farm on the Faroe Islands. ORKA has since then played venues and festivals all over the world and done collaborations with a number of prominent acts including LV (Hyperdub, Keysound), Yann Tiersen, and Ólafur Björn Ólafsson (Sigur Rós). Now ORKA is ready with their 4th full-length album LEIPZIG. The bulk of the album was recorded at UT Connewitz, a spectacular and worn down pre-war cinema in the heart of Leipzig, Germany, together with Oktopus (Dälek), Ólavur Jákupsson, and HOGNI. Other recordings were done on tour in Paris, New York, a small church in Sibrandahûs, Netherlands, a boat in Hong Kong and a train terminal in Bombay. The album was then finalised and patched together in ORKA's and co-producers LV's London studios, and it features vocals by Greta Svabo Bech (Deadmau5) and Teitur among others. On LEIPZIG ORKA's trademark custom instruments and dark sound are fused with sedated resounds from UK Bass and LA Beat topped with icy North Atlantic vocals. ORKA call it Club Gaze. If compared to other artists, you could say that the album sounds like J Dilla's Donuts if it was produced by Burial, with the Nordic melodic sensibility of Sigur Rós, and performed by Faust."

Sparse and daring sonic experimentations, as the name suggests, on this fresh imprint by the upstream collective that is John Swing, EMG and Battista. The first two have now established their patterns of work via the Livejam and Relative stables, while the third has been busy pushing his sound through the younger and ever-promising Uaudio label. A common obsession with machines and spontaneity has led them to this latest collaborative effort; two extended, wide-eyed jams - one per side of the plate - which shift from moments of stability to sudden bursts of chaos. The A-side represents the former; a thick layer of chords, gritty low-ends and icy percussion slither out of the whirlpool only to become locked into a moody, cut-throat groove. The flip cuts the formalities and dives head first into a deluge of saturated hardware fuzz, showcasing the trio's more abstract personalities as conjurers of fine noise-funk.

Its time for a new OFF Recordings music delivery, and this time we put Betoko, one of the most exciting names in the global scene, in charge. Mexican-born but based in London, this notorious musically trained producer unleashes all his melodic arsenal in two outstanding tracks for our delight.

This talented artist began working on "Im a Gin" 18 months ago in the renown Red Bus Recording Studios where George Michael, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Tina Turner, Jocelyn Brown and Imagination themselves have all recorded at and where he shapes his new productions today. The idea behind "Im a Gin" was to revive the authentic retro-funky Imagination vibe. The song contains elements of the song using the same stems from the original record; and all crafted in the same studio where Imagination originally created all of their tracks, same compressors, keyboards and console creating the highest sonic quality sound.

On the flipside, and following the same retro-funk spirit, we have "U Got 2"...With another killer clap disco groove and a synth bassline topped with sweet synth sounds and vocals that create an unforgettable trip. One for our most romantic groovers here, another one for the books!

The platform is extremely crowded, however, and she can't get to Mick, who is standing at the opposite end, so she shouts his name. Two other passengers relay the message to Mick that Sue wants to talk with him. "What does she want" Mick relays back. "Tell him that I'm not going to marry Richard," Sue shouts. "Why not" Mick asks. When the message finally gets to Mick, he tries to make his way through the crowd but he can't get to Sue, so he climbs on top of the crowd and walks over the people's shoulders to get to her. In the final scene, they embrace while the crowd cheers.

The second selection sees Hernan notching up the energy levels and heading into more driving territory. Guy Gerber's haunting take on the Cevin Fisher and Layo & Bushwacka collaboration 'Dancing in the Dark' is an early pace-setter, whilst the stirring melodies of the Microtrauma remix of U¨mit Han 'An Einem Traurigen Morgen' also grab your attention. Again Hernan's productions and remixes feature heavily with four on offer here before the album draws to a stunning close, the soaring synths and euphoric rush of Agoria creating a jaw-dropping final

Keeping the numbers in symmetry the 2-track single from label boss OOFT! is pressed on to 10" vinyl, and features one pitched-down & one pitched-up jam. Lead track Here For You summons some 70s soul vocals and layers new beats and synths underneath to create a pitch-down monster suitable for late nights and end-of-set moments. On the flip Whistle Time has more of a steady summer-house strut with disco samples rubbing up against some understated 303s to provide some terrace action over the warmer months ahead.

Sunday Music goes deeper and depper with this fantastic album release. It reflects the love of label owner Henrik Schwarz for jazz, contemporary and chamber music. When norwegians electro-jazz pioneer Bugge Wesseltoft and Henrik Schwarz (!K7/ Innervisions) produced their collaboration 'Duo", it was clear that their synergy was both unique within, and revitalizing to, the whole genre of electro-acoustic beat-based improvisation. Now the duo becomes a trio, and the dialogue becomes a Trialogue. Indie/ Jazz Bassist Dan Berglund (e.s.t., Ane Brun) brings additional dimensions and a whole new range of songwriter possibilities, a completely new layer of sound, Tastefully chosen electronic rhythmic patterns and drums, virtuosic piano playing, analog synthesiers, thumping double bass lines. Subtle but high energy walks through your speakers. Moments of quasi-ambient atmosphere sit alongside driving energetic swathes of blues-inflected jamming from the future, near-metallic semi-sinister meteor storms of sound rest easily beside moments of classic jazz noire, and there is a marked assimilation of classical chamber sensibilities. This is a thoroughgoing post-postmodernist soundworld. What the listener will recognise instantly is, simply put, great music. BUGGE WESSELTOFT (Keys/Percussion) Since 1990 Bugge Wesseltoft has constantly evolved his sound, restlessly exploring new territory, rarely (if ever) looking back over travelled roads. He has worked with some of the best-known and respected names in jazz, such as Jan Garbarek, Nils Petter Molvaer, as also toured/ played with Laurent Garnier, Joaquin Joe Claussell, collaborates with Ricardo Villalobos.

Alex Blaxx drops three original tracks for Dessous Recordings following a couple of very well received releases on Buzzing Fly and Sccucci Manucci. Blaxx now resides in Manchester by way of Cape Town - both cities with strong house music credentials. Blaxx himself excels in lush house productions with plenty of soul and a lot of dance floor knowledge. The EP's title track 'It's Been Done Before' gives a healthy nod to the hugely fertile period of New York house in the 1990s, but retains a freshness and spark that sets it apart from many of his contemporaries. It's highly musical and organic, with hugely effective hooks, builds and pads that will bring smiles to the faces of dancers worldwide. 'Gilmore Heureux' is a darker affair, with a raw evolving groove with a Detroit flavor. It's got plenty of grit, and a few innovative twists and turns along the way. 'All the Difference' slows the pace slightly, unwinding a killer groove driven by a piano and punchy drums. About midway through a sublime synth bass joins the fray, and the track lifts off into the ether.

BMB Spacekid, aka Dmitry Semenov, hails from the coldest depths of St. Petersburg, his music however is the polar opposite.

Earlier this year, Danish electronic pioneers Laid Back released 'Uptimistic Music Vol 1.', their first studio album since 2004. The duo's

long-awaited comeback was followed by critical acclaim and a series of live performances. While playing festivals in Ibiza, Georgia,

Denmark and the Faroe Islands last summer, John Guldberg and Tim Stahl took the time to put the finishing touches on their upcoming

release: 'Uptimistic Music,' a double album featuring Vol.1 and a second record of unreleased material.'Brother', the first single out of the

double album, was released on Monday 23 September. 'The track originates from the mid-eighties and it talks about the brotherly feeling

in us,' explained Stahl. 'Its lyrics are even more relevant today: 'Brother, time is running out.' We are well-aware of the fact that we are

some old music industry geezers," said Guldberg jokingly. 'Uptimistic Music is a combination of some old songs we had lying around - that

are still alive and kicking! - and new songs we composed since our last album 'Happy Dreamer.' Anything less than a double album wouldn't

have been enough! The positive and timeless message that pervades our music is deeply-rooted in the way we think and express ourselves.

A song should be judged on its longevity rather than its novelty,' agreed the two musicians, who have been friends for over 40 years.
'Uptimistic Music' will be released digitally on 14 October and physically in early November.
